Never disappointed with fresh beef cuts. I'm not a fan of the prepared foods and stuffed meats but the chicken tenders are real tasty!

For the most part the staff, service is good. My one complaint is that some of the staff need to be trained how to package fresh deli cheese. Soft cheeses(Harvarti) even provolone need to have paper in between the slices as you end up with a big glob and cannot separate into slices.

We feel so lucky that Port Colborne has attracted a top of the line Butcher shop. Tender Cuts has expanded so much since they opened in Port Colborne a few years ago. They now have everything you need to make great meals: produce, dairy, buns and bread, cold cuts, cheeses and great selection of meats including unique dinner ideas ready to cook like stuffed and breaded mushrooms and pork chops, a variety of marinated options, and ready to go meals. Excellent cuts of meat with weekly specials and weekly $25 gift card giveaways. Now selling produce and some specialty dairy, this can truly be your one stop shop for an excellent meal. Prices are reasonable, especially for portions on some of the store-prepared items (Chicken Cordon-Bleu, Kebabs, etc.) and everything is FRESH. A must visit regardless of wether you’re a resident or visitor looking for something to fry, bake, roast, or grill.

I regularly go to this shop. The best store-cooked roast beef in Port Colborne. I think it’s made with smoked brisket. I’m not a fan of their cheap knock-off hot sauce. There’s nothing like Franks. So anything that has this ingredient displeases my pallet, I’m my opinion. Many others like it, though. It has less of a homey feel to it since you need to take a number and it feels like a factory and less like a shop. Great sales each week and such a great variety. I am a regular patron and would recommend this shop for sure.

I usually shop at another butcher on Clarence but stopped by to pick up some steaks that were on sale. The store smells like blood the New York strips that were on sale were thin with a huge fat cap and no marbling. I asked the lady behind the counter if I could see the next row and she kept showing me the same steaks, When I asked again for something thicker and with more marbling she was very snarky and rude. It was then that I remembered why I shop at the store on Clarence, they are friendly if you don't see exactly what you want they will get it for you and it doesn't smell bad. I ended up going there and buying some steaks a full price but they are well worth it as very superior quality.
