The row labels are inaccurate and unhelpful. Great prices on cheese. Limited specials for such a large store. Great international items. Favourite Freshco in the region. I find this location to lack consistency. They don't seem to carry enough of the products to keep one of each available. I went in for 10 inch whole wheat pitas and all they had of the size was gluten free pitas. Gluten free pitas crumble. I wanted salt and vinegar miss vickies chips. They Diddnt have them. I noted some great deals on snack foods but otherwise I don't intend on going back there for much.

I love this grocery store it's my absolute favorite place to get groceries in Welland. Even when it's busy the lineups move pretty fast. The staff is great and the lighting and layout are good. Lots of selection and decent prices it's a quality but affordable place to get groceries. Oh and the hours are great as well, open every nite til 10pm (even Sundays)

Stopped in to the Welland store this morning and spoke with Bob in the produce dept. I asked him if I could leave my info and have the manager contact me. I wanted to see if they would add Horseradish root to their produce line up. Bob was super helpful ..I left my info which he said he would forward to the manager Leanne..not sure of the spelling. Anyway great customer service Bob. I hope they will be able to add the item however, if not I will understand and then ck with other local stores to see if they can assist me. Bob..you are a very good representative for FreshCo...I think you will progress rapidly up the ladder..tks Terry Dinger UPDATE>>>>> Rec'd a phone call early this morning from the assistant produce mgr Cheryl telling me that they ordered some roots for me and they were in the store now...WOW!! what a great team they have at the Welland store. Only grocery store I use in Welland. Good selection and good pricing compared to many of the other reasonably priced grocery stores. The store always seems to be clean and despite what others have said I have seen the cashier's ask people to move back and see them wipe the pin pad and the counters all the time when I am there. Sometimes a line up to get in but usually moves quickly. Been shopping here since before this all started and since it all started and no covid for me.

Big, bright, clean store. Good prices, friendly service. Love that they carry President's Choice brand products. Large produce section with good quality large selection of products including pre-cut, pre-portioned fruits and veggies. Fresh breads and baked goods available. Only downside is the meat selection no onsite deli.

I like their selection but the aisles are usually full of products. They always have more stockers on then cash. Why can't some of the staff that stock shelves also be trained on cash. I had a full buggy tonight and only the express lane was open. People are giving me side eye but they should be giving it to management. The same way sobeys runs their store so this must be a corporate policy.

This store is the only one I will buy groceries at. The staff are friendly and helpful, the store is always clean and well-kept, and they fix things right away if you have a problem. For those of you complaining about the masks, the store employs a number of staff who cannot wear masks due to disabilities. How do I know that? A number of family members work there. If you don't like it, stay away from those staff.

Came into the store yesterday to pick up a sale item advertised in the flyer. I made a special effort to confirm before purchasing that the item in question is in fact, on sale. I read the sale sign in front of the item to be sure, as of course, sometimes the wrong item is in front of the wrong sign. Nope, this item is definitely on sale. Get to the front; not on sale. Full price. I questioned it, and the cashier sent a worker to the shelf to check. 10 minutes later, comes back to tell me, 'Not on sale' despite there being a sign with the words printed right on it in front of the product. Very disappointed. I felt bad holding up the line for what was obviously not my mistake. I do like the selection here, but I don't like stores that pull a 'bait and switch'. I won't be shopping here anymore.

I generally like getting groceries here. Prices are decent, they price match, selection is really good, including international foods, and produce is good. You have to watch your bill though. There is enough variety in the produce department that it is easy for staff to make mistakes at the check-out. Other than that, this is my preferred store.

Love FreshCo. They price match and have a great selection. It's nice to be able to go somewhere close by and get the same prices instead of having to drive to Walmart or lots of other places. Fresco has excellent produce, reasonable prices and a wide range of products. They do price match if that's your thing and in some cases it might be a good idea. There are a few things that are not common to many "discount" grocery stores such as organic greens, pea sprouts, and a good variety of salad green mixes. Definitely worth a look if not your regular store.

If you want to take your chances with getting COVID-19, this store is your best bet. The only measure they take to reduce risks is to sanitize the carts. Been to this location many times and have seen several employees cashing customers out while not wearing masks & never once heard them ask customers to social distance when paying or sanitize anything including the pin pad between customers.

When I asked to exchange it for formula that was not expired they told me it was their policy not to exchange or refund on expired products! This location should be ashamed, we are a low income household and expected this to last our daughter for several weeks. We will be doing all of our grocery shopping elsewhere from now on.

I'll be honest it's not much of a higher step than food basics... prices suck for products that you need, where as junk food is what goes on sale there... stick to PC stores... Saves money and better products... I am one of those people who cares what I'm feeding my family... their brands filled with filler as opposed to keeping 90% of the product actually as intended... but that's just me, price wise unless you have nothing to do but to pick up certain products when they are on sale... I would never even advise my worst enemy to shop here... service also is one lane majority, and line ups of course.

Miserable cashier and wasnt helpful when asked if they had something, just said if you dont see it i guess we dont got it, wasnt even busy or end of shift. Awesome store. Great staff - clean store! Need to keep flyer sale items stocked and available in dairy tho. I had to request sale items from back (eggs) because cooler was empty and sale still had 2 days to go - this happened during last sale as well.

The FreshCo in Welland seems to be very poorly managed. If you want to get their specials you better get there within the first couple of days cuz it seems like they don't restock once they're out. The floor plan of the store is just terrible. There are columns in the middle of the aisles you have to walk down. Apart from the produce and bread section everything else seems to be just thrown in there willy-nilly. It's not the FreshCo company that's the problem just this location. I recently moved from Georgetown and the FreshCo there was much cleaner and much better organized and run better.
