Good location for the store, being close to the NSCC and a number of seniors' residences. The building itself is the smallest of the Sobeys locations in Pictou County, which means it has the lowest selection of goods. The staff are friendly, but there are only ever two registers open at a time (and sometimes only one). They also have a habit of moving things around, making it hard to find what you're looking for. The parking lot also gets rather crowded.

I have gotten rainchecks in the past from this location, but they would not give me a raincheck for a sale item that was not in stock at the store and she said it was not a regular store item. What's with that!! Shouldn't have it in the flyer if the item is not available..

Very friendly.... clean.... covid protocols followed... the line up by the freezer section is a post covid keeper. I was able to have a laugh with two cashiers on two different days. Having a sense of humor is so important. Good selection of product... even my Oatmeal Pudding was in stock!

Once upon a time it was the largest Sobeys in Canada. Still a big store, can find everything you need. Service is okay for the most part.

I believe this to be the very first Sobey's grocery store ever, and almost certainly the oldest in continuous operation. Old Frank Sobey himself spent his teen years poring over financial statements here, legend has it. Sobeys corporate headquarters is located down the road.

Terrible sales, never have flyer items, or really anything new ever. The bags are terrible and rip and they try to charge basically full price for expired/almost expired food. I shop at superstore now. Sobeys sucks the big one.

This has been my GOTO store for years for a number of reasons; Friendly helpful staff who often greet customers in passing and who remember the 'regulars'. This store has everything I need and since it isn't huge you can quickly gather items on your way home or somewhere in a hurry! Also the Bakery/ Deli area and the Meat and Produce Departments are excellent. Sobey's has always maintained a good reputation for quality meats, and this store is no exception. After all this is Stellarton!

SHOP AT A REAL GROCERY STORE SHOP AT SUPERSTORE. Sobeys prices are rarely ever competitive, prices are rarely ever posted or not properly posted , Sobeys has become the most expensive grocery store in the Maritimes, I mentioned to store staff on several occasions that certain product are damaged over and over and over and nothing is ever done about it, they blame the warehouse but when I point out Superstore sells the same product and their products are not damaged week after week after week , the cashier told me this morning " well I don't know what to tell ya, " what a pathetic little store , never again.

Very sad to find out your store no longer sell grannies produce, we live in Truro and always shopped in your Stellarton store to be Zelenograd to get genies Bread and rolls your staff should be informed of changes lasr week when we asked the employee about the produce she said they would have some this Friday but there was no produce , we asked the checkout clerk and was told that she knew nothing of th problem,sop we will not be back to the Stellarton store,
