Vicki's Veggies is a great roadside farm stand full of organic locally-grown produce like heirloom tomatoes, string beans, garlic, peppers and other seasonal vegetables. You can also purchase lemonade and apple cider vinegar produced near by. Vicki's operates on the honour system - there isn't anyone manning the till, instead you put your money in a cash box or you pay online. When you walk in, it feels like a little magical cabin full of wonderful things you must get.

So happy that Vicki's is open again for summer. Love just about anything here. And it's so cool that places that operate on an honour system exist and people respect that. Recently discovered the jars of hot peppers. They are an awesome addition to pizza and sandwiches!

Attended the sampling on the Labour Day weekend. The sample of tomatoes was extremely small (an eighth of an inch) which made it very hard to get a decent piece using the toothpicks provided. Nothing stood out for us as we had no idea of what it tasted like with such a small sample. Very disappointing given that we gave the full suggested donation at the entrance. Other vendors were happy to take our money. If you want to sell tomatoes (and we were ready to buy), then please let us taste them (especially when we paid for it).

I just love Vicki’s!!! I wish we are closer so we can pick up all kinds of lovely tomatoes often. Me and husband visited Vicki’s before and this time we brought our daughter with us. Daughter just loves tomatoes! Vicki was so friendly and talked to her about tomatoes. Thank you Vicki!! We hope to visit again when we visit the county next time!

A wonderful little veggie shop close to where we stayed. Like so much in Prince Edward County, at this time of season is built on the honour system. Take what you need, pay the price via e-transfer or slide cash into a cashbox. We ended up splurging since we were carrying more cash than usual. These fresh pieces made our dining later in the evening that much more special. Thanks Vicky!

Cute little grocery store off the beaten path filled with homemade tomato sauces and condiments and produce grown on site. Bring cash for easy transactions. Owners are very friendly and lots of produce varieties if you go in the summer.

A great place run by wonderful people! We loved going here for our produce while we vacationed in PEC in 2017. They have amazing tomatoes and all of their produce is beautiful. I heard they are selling the farm so there will be no more Vickie's Veggies which really is a shame as it was a truly wonderful family run business. What a loss for the PEC community. Best vegetables in the county! Vicki is the most wonderful and caring farmer I have ever had the pleasure to meet. If you see her at the stall she always ready to answer questions or give cooking suggestions. She also keeps a neighbour's delicious lemonade and cold brew coffee in stock in the fridge.

I love the design, layout, and obvious heart that is put into making this place operate.. I never got anything, because I had unfortunately, for me.. shopped at a big box grocer a few hours before, but if I had known about this place, in my explorations yesterday, I definitely would have came here first! The veggies looked amazing, and fresh, and the interesting local choices, made me feel secure that everything was super fresh! I would encourage anyone to check this place out, if your near the Black River area..
