Grocery store is pretty random at times. Doesn’t have stock all the time unfortunately. Carries some products that other store do not have however I would suggest checking out other stores before heading here. I'll give it a 4 for food variety and price. But as someone who uses natural products (laundry soap, shampoo, etc) they dont carry any which now requires a trip to another store. Price wise I paid 80 bucks for what would easily have been 150 at loblaws.

I've always enjoyed this store for its selection, price, and cleanliness. However, I've also been quite disappointed at the organization of the store. I hired when they expanded the space it would get better - but it didn't. It seems almost every time I go in, something has been moved to a different place: I can never find corn syrup - is it breakfast, or baking, or somewhere else? The last time I was in I was looking for Soy Sauce. While I found some with the condiments, the main brand everyone knows wasn't there?! Then, with the international foods, there was yet another brand - but not what I wanted. Finally, at the end of the store, with the rice, was the brand I wanted. Seriously? That's just dumb!

I shop at FreshCo once a week and never experienced an unpleasant employee . To me this is important, as it can make or break the shopping experience. The prices at this Supermarket are usually lower than some of the others. As a result they do not offer incentives for shopping there. FreshCo carries a good selection of ethnic products .

Great prices. Isles aren't too narrow. Well lit and clean store. Selection is limited compared to places like Metro or Loblaws, however it is similar to No Frills. Plenty of parking. Conveniently located directly beside Walmart so you can shop both places in one trip.

FreshCo can be a great place to go for food at a cheaper cost than places like Metro, A&P, Costco etc. However, sometimes their produce is wilted and poor quality. This happens maybe one out of every four visits there. The rest of the food is excellent and they have many options.

Love this store. Has all you need without the $$$. Up tick from No Frills and the best international selection of foods in town. Nice produce. No bakery and small meat section, but basic needs. Great Halal selection too. Why is Halal chicken so good? Not sure but I buy them and they are awesome. They have recently re arranged the store, tough to find stuff now, but this too shall pass.

This was not an enjoyable experience. In the midst of a pandemic there is no control of the number of customers allowed into the store at one given time. Shopping carts if there are any available must be self cleaned. Combined with the number of clients and employees stocking shelves some of the aisles were impassable. Checkout was a nightmare. I have never seen a line this long. I would not recommend shopping here if one has covid 19 concerns.

This FreshCo location is definitely my go to spot for shopping. It's clean and staff are always knowledgeable. Stock is great and prices are better. Price matching here is always permitted and the staff is very familiar with other local prices and more than happy to help their customers have a feel good experience to ensure they come back. I've included a list of all the stores they price match, the list is also posted at the front door and at every checkout. Be sure to bring your flyers or use an app like Flipp. You definitely want the FreshCo quality and quite often the best price in town anyways!

Easily one of the best places in Peterborough to get any international foods. If you are looking for a sauce or product from around the globe this is your place! Not the largest section of meats (no deli/butcher) but i can usually find something good. (Also has some Halal meat). The prices are also some of the best in town. For stocking up or buying items on sale you will save a bundle compared to some of the other stores that carry the Compliments products (I.e. Sobeys, Foodland etc).

-10. Went in for groceries with my two kids and I'm a single mom. Only epexectex to get a fewbthings that I could carry but ended up with more being with two kids. I had a few alcoholic beverages that I was carrying by hand I dropped one but my 4 year old picked it up for me and carried it. Wr weren't allowed to buy the beverages because my daughter was carrying the one I dropped and my hand where completely full. Just pathetic because she is four I would understand if she was older but she was helping my carry one little thing because I had my hands full and us the lady was so rude because she saw my daughter holding bottle like come on grown the f up. As is she even knows what she is carrying she is 4. Vace more respect for single moms, our lives are hard enough without stupid people.

Good International foods selection, however, during my most recent trip a whistling anti masker cruised the store with no response from staff. When multiple people complained the supervisor said they do not enforce mask wearing in order to protect staff from hostile anti vaxxers. Tends to be a little crowded at most times, but that's because of their amazing selection of fresh foods at very reasonable prices. If you ever feel like touring the world food market but don't want to leave Peterborough, try going to the International aisle. It is very interesting. I often find through careful observation that there are quite a lot of diamonds in the rough in that aisle. Staff are friendly and helpful.

First off I am giving you a 5 star rating because I thoroughly like shopping there. Throughout the first part of the pandemic ur organization was bang on. There was always plenty of produce and the store was clean bright and friendly. The sanitation issues were also great social distancing thorough cleaning of carts happy face always on the owner Shawn. Today I was disappointed no one was cleaning the carts no line up and the owner for the first time looked miserable. It was like stage two is now open so we r not going to do anything at all to protect our customers who have been true to this store. I wasn’t impressed. This no cleaning of shopping carts is unacceptable. Step up to the plate and provide the people that support ur store with safety measures, I feel like the real management is now coming out and I don’t like it. When we get hit with another bout of this virus I will be laying some blame on owners who now don’t care about their customers but how much money they can make up !????

Excellent selection of items. Minus the white chocolate covered Oreos ????.... Staff are generally friendly. There is a few dense cashiers... Overall best prices and they price match SOME stores.
