As this is the closest grocer to where i live i go here often. Im giving extra stars for the fact that u can get lotto and cigarettes here and also for the fact that they stay open until 11pm. However the prices are honestly ridiculous and if u can u should probably just go to nofrills. On another note things are usaly fresh and there is an in store bakery.

Cute, country, general store type feel. Store is super small so no long lines or crowds which is nice. It does make it harder to social distance though as the aisles are narrow and there's limited space for lining up at the checkout. Everything is very overpriced, however bakery items are pretty reasonable and made on-site so baked goods are super fresh. Staff is also friendly. Insanely high prices for plastic and paper bags though! Paper is $0.25 and plastic is $0.35! Compared to $0.05 at other stores. That's major unnecessary price gouging! Needs to be more in line with the other grocery stores.

Exactly the right size of a store when you just need the basics and don't want to spend an hour looking for bread! You won't find a lot of variety, but everything seems to be good quality. I like the deli/bakery options, while limited they are always pleasing.

Staff is always helpful and nice. Selection is limited, and a lot of their meat is very expensive. Sometimes you'll find a great bargain, and all of the necessities (Milk, eggs, bread, etc.) are reasonably priced.

A mostly good place, aside from some of the prices. For example, I got a box of 6 bear paws for 4 dollars (excluding tax) when it should have been half that. Otherwise incredible. Friendly employees and very convenient. Not long waiting. Overall pretty good!

Just a quick stop (or so I thought) - picked up my needs (3 items) but had to wait in an extremely long line to pay for merchandise. People seemed to be shopping for their ling weekend plans. Only 2 of 4 cashiers open.

Small and a bit run down with ridiculous prices. Supposed to be open 24 hours a day but was closed the one time I went there late without posting the closure on google. Prices comparable to convenience stores but without the convenience. The variety and quality of produce and imported groceries is above city standards. Their pizza buns are the best I've ever had.

Goodland was great, everything well stocked, garden flowers for sale. Now using paper bags for packing groceries, which is great, however the bags are not very strong, both of the bags my groceries were packed in ripped and tore, pie ended up on ground.

Smallish and friendly grocery store. Love their hot cooked chicken to-go. So close I send the kids there for regular errands like milk and eggs. They also have lots of house plants. The staff are happy which makes a big difference in the shopping experience.

Foodland on Sherbrooke has a fairly decent assortment of produce, dry goods, canned goods, frozen, fresh, etc. They have the best Foodland Bakery and Deli - their chickens are always cooked perfectly. Never had a raw one from them or over cooked one. The staff are mostly quite friendly. Their regular night cashier is a riot. Great lady. Prices are average for a Foodland. A little higher than average in pricing at another grocery store. Watch dates on the canned goods as sometimes the cans are not rotated properly in the store (especially the international foods that may not be as popular with clients). I frequent this store because of their longer hours and selection of things I may need any given day.

I love to shop at Foodland, it is a wonderful store very clean and the prices are good, I was with my 83 year old father shopping and I was with my dog so we waited outside I wanted him to get me a watermelon, I have been off work for 10 years due to an injury so I have to really watch my money, my father came out and said they wanted $7 for a watermelon and he knew I wouldn't pay $7 for a watermelon. There was a nice gentleman that overheard me and my father's conversation and he gave me $10 to go in and buy my watermelon, I did not want to take the $10 I am not like that but this gentleman was so nice and he was demanding that I took the $10 to go get my watermelon, I am hoping that he gets to review Foodland on his phone so that he can see again how thankful I am that a stranger would give me $10 to go buy my watermelon, what an amazing man and I just wanted to thank him again if he ever reads this he will know who I am thanks again sir, I hope to bump into you again at Foodland so I can thank you again personally

A great spot for students. I rented a house near here while I was in college and this place was my go to grocer. They are open 24 hours if you're ever in a pinch and the prices are reasonable for people working with OSAP. Staff were always nice and welcoming.

I'm so exhausted at the end of my day, and this being the only grocery store that offers "24 hour" service, I am incredibly tired of driving by at 3 am after work and it being closed because quote on quote from an employee "no cashiers tonight" . At first, I thought maybe they were just all sick all at once or something, but when it comes to this 3 to 4 times a week..I think it's just lazy employees. I wish Sobeys was still open, and I didn't have to take the chance with the run down grocery stores cashiers to feel like opening. False advertising is a real thing, and I will make it known of this if your stores remain closed with the false given hours.

Good local grocery store. Appropriate pricing and friendly cashiers with plastic partitions. Downside, grocery carts aren't washed/sprayed and customers might assume that they are cleaned. No directional shopping arrows. Grocery belts where you place to be purchased items also aren't sprayed between customers. I find this confusing ... we shop here when we go on daily walks ... otherwise we shop at Metro or Sobey's where we have higher confidence in protocols.
