You have all the information of real people like you who know the products of Chub & Nikki's No Frills (Fruit Store) in Peterborough territory (Canada).
As of day this firm gets a score of 4 over 5 and this score has been based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is good, and it is founded on a high number of reviews, so we can think that the rating is quite credible. If people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Fruit Store corresponds to the category of Grocery store.
Good prices and I can always find what I'm looking for. Line-ups during the day are very reasonable. Parking lot feels a bit small at times for the location. Overall a great No Frills location and a great place to shop.
Great value for money. Similar products are cheaper here than other places.
Clean and well stocked. Often have good sales, lots of parking and convenient location.
Convenience and location right in the same plaza with the beer store, dollar store and hockey sushi, no frills offer a modest variety of products at good prices and great quality, one can sure find most of your grocery and household needs for the amount of space it's extremely convenient...
This Has To Be The Best No Frills I've Ever Shopped At. The Most Friendliest Staff And The Cleanest Store. Cashiers Are Quick And Accurate. Even With The State Of Mind With This Virus, Staff Are Amazingly Polite And Helpful. Prices Are Very Reasonable And The Shelves Are Always Full. Produce Is Amazingly Fresh. It's Worth The Hour Drive To Shop Here On The Weekend.
Not much selection, even less for meat
Love this place everyone is so helpful they all have a smile. Way nicer than the customers. Great selection of items from vegetables, meats and all other basic item we all need. The price is always lower than other supermarkets.
They have it set up like a maze had to walk right through the store
I generally don't like this chain, but I do like this No Frills store. It doesn't feel claustrophobic like many others do.
Very helpful staff
Great Store wish they had a little more of what i need in the health food isle.
CLEAN ! Good produce. Friendly staff. Broke bottle of olives and staff member joked with me and then cleaned up my mess ! Great work.... Will be back (and a little more careful)
Solid selection, well organized, good prices and very nice staff.
Fresh items and comparatively cheap.
Low cost mostly. Produce isn't great. Pretty good selection of products. Parking lot is crazy.
The people are great and their newly added click and collect service makes them my number one grocery store
Great staff and great fresh produce dept.
Great selection of product and friendly helpful staff.
I don't think I've ever come here and actually completed my shopping list and not had to travel elsewhere afterward. There's always something lacking - either they don't have it in stock, don't carry it, or what they do have on the shelves is old/mouldy/of poor quality. I should learn my lesson...
Honestly, the produce is awful. I spent a lot of time picking out spoiled squished stuff. I didnt even bother buying lemons they were so bad. I got my basics and left. Selection was pretty awful compared to downtown. Service however was good. Polite and helpful staff.
Good
good store..no long line ups cause they actually put enuf cashiers on to move things quickly!!! Freshco. needs to do this!!
Great place for good deals but definitely want to bring your own cloth bags. It can get costly to buy plastic bags and they do have boxes you can use but sometimes they have no boxes available.
Great produce. Great pricea
Great staff, great prices. Sometimes their produce looks rough but overall good experience.
Very nice and busy supermarket. The staff and cashier are extremely friendly and helpful.
Great place for fair prices
High risk! Too many people in store. Place not complying with covid
Great prices. Store can be slow at checkout
Had everything I was looking for
Has everything I need for a "normal" grocery run. Good prices and produce has never disappointed. Doesn't have fancy items but "no frills" is pretty up front about that in the name. I continue to shop here for my basic grocery needs.
The layout is like other No Frills so coming across it from out of town is like stepping into a comforting familiarity. It's up to standard in cleanliness and the cashier was friendly. The produce section is immediately in front of the entrance and everything seems fresh enough.
Great store! Excellent Staff! Can't give it a five though as I work for the other NoFrills in town lols.
They have a great selection of whatever you need. However, they do need some Folgers french vanilla coffee.????
Lots of selection with reasonable prices. Clean.
There was so many options for nuts and soup, however they do not allow Visa as payment and their lettuce and vegetables were very poor quality, already going bad
Meh.
Prices are good however they don't take Visa
Wasn't too impressed with this place. More expensive than anticipated for being a No frills ... products were missing off shelves. Produce was not good for prices being asked. I'm giving it a 3-star because of the employees they were all very nice and friendly no issues with them at all.
I think this is a great grocery store. I use this one regularly considering the great prices and sales they always have.
Decent price on some things but rediculous 10-15 min wait in the express lineup. Crazy wait on price correction I will probably pass over this place unless getting a major sale item.
Was not as stocked as usual. They have flyer items, unlike other grocery stores
Fresh produce here is somewhat frightening. There are a lot of insects (flies, fruit flies, etc) in the fresh section. The store has a bit of rotting meat smell to it quite frequently. Good for canned, frozen and non-perishable stuff, but they need to work on the produce section.
Would have given you 5 stars, the store is very clean and well stocked lots of tellers on. The reason for the 3stars is that one of your male stockmen rolled his eyes and very reluctantly moved his stock trolley out my way so I could reach the becel. Didn't say a word to me, just made me feel as if I was imposing on him.
The store is improving; in fact its in renovations. The store is looking good -brighter and cleaner. I hope they consider their washroom facility as it is always in an alarming state of uncleanliness. It would also be nice to have 2-3feet more space at the end of the checkouts as it is always overcrowded when the store is busy; impacting time to exit the store efficiently. The staff are always friendly, and it is nice to be recognized as a regular customer. I am disappointed they have changed their hours to an 8pm closing time.
A good range of fresh produce with good prices. Good selection of dried food like pasta, and various sauces such as international ones. Also a surprisingly vast dairy section. One of the better No Frills I've ever been to.
Big store, great place to get snacks before the fireworks show!
So crowded. No counting customers outside. Checkouts were crazy so no chance of distancing. Will not go back
Service has been less than expected. Staff has a ho hum attitude. Rather go Fresh go.....can always price match
Shelves empty. Poor selection
Not the nicest No Frills I've walked into... Rather uncleanly feeling compared to others I've visited. Produce doesn't look too healthy at this one.
This is great store! I have ordered online and have done the PC pick up and it's been amazing. The staff are so friendly and they call me when they have to substitute something. Great place!
Nice clean store.... conveniently located....friendly employee.....good deals always
Better spot if you can't handle the busy location downtown. Quality is your typical No Frills but it's less busy, easier to access especially if you are from outside of town.
Nice store. Friendly staff!
Best Grocery store around! Excellent staff, friendly and efficient!
Has a nice bright store with wide aisles and seems to have a better selection than the other location.
It's a good place to buy grocery. Prices are similar to other grocery store. It's easy to find what you want.
It's a great place to shop. The price is very good. Been shopping there for 10 years. The staff is very good at what they do
Toxic work environment. Staff isn’t treated properly, owner doesn’t care about professionalism even when dealing with young highschool students.
Store was covid ready, not many people. In and out in good time..
Definitely my go-to for groceries that don't break the bank. They have everything you need and a decent selection without feeling too crowded. Produce is typically in healthy condition and they often have discounted. Staff are very helpful and promote a community feel. This place is my weekly shop.
Friendly staff and clean and organized store
The best grocery store in Peterborough manager always making sure clients are satisfied making sure with this conv-19 everyone respects each other the man works long hours always Disinfecting shopping carts all day everyday thank you everyone that workes there
Typically no frills , typically needs a face-lift. Prices are reasonable. Stocking staff are always to busy to help and when pressed to look for an item due nothing on the shelf always come back mt handed. Cashiers are ok but a real pain to have to pack your own groceries plus side price match anyone. Never seen a manager or asset manager can't find where they hide .... check dates of expiry carefully .....
Have only been twice, different times, different days, and it's very busy. I think that's just Peterborough in general; if No Frills had grown with the city's growth, there would be more than two. And they would be bigger.
Very nice and very clean, they treat their customers good.
Lots of choice, produce is fresh, great sales, staff is helpful and friendly. Will always shop here.
There are a few employees here (and the other shops in these two plazas) that are really rude to visible minorities. So don't be shocked if that happens just look for another employee or try not to take that cashier again, 85% of the staff are great, and the selection for different foods and gluten and dairy free options is amazing (at really good prices)
staff are friendly, place is pretty much always clean. i love shopping here :)
Always out of sale items. Must have new manager?
Extremely poor. 2 friends going in shopping. 1 only getting butter, sharing the same cart, the other getting 4 of same butter. Employee won't allow 1 to purchase the 2 butter. Terrible location. Won't shop this location again.
Must have arrived just before meat dept was refilled. Got what I needed
Most of the essentials are available. However, it needs to stock on more variety of grocery.
It's more affordable than most other grocery stores, and it's location is incredibly convenient for Fleming College students. My only issue is that it has a bit less variety in terms of President's Choice products, compared to the Dieter & Darcy's No Frills downtown.
Always friendly and clean
No big whoop...it's a grocery store...lots of customers there. You should if you find yourself in the area and are needing food items.
Could have a bit more variety or sometimes quantity of the goods. The quality of the produce is also generally poorer than the other store in the town. You would imagine it would've been pretty close since they most likely order their stuff from the same suppliers.
Very Covid friendly..great prices
Always get fresh food and fruit at cheap prices
no pint in going, they never have anything. 100% disappointment is what they carry most of.
Good store, clean, well organized, prices are reasonable.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Clean & organized store.I appreciate the organic aisle where prices are better than in other stores.
Bring a quarter for your cart, they're no longer cleaning them at the door. Long lines, really not worth going for less than a cart full.
Never shop here on Sundays. They don't now how to place orders. This past Sunday they had no Banana's, ground chicken, hardly any bread to choose from and the produce was looking poor. To top it off only 1 cashier was open and 4 cashiers stood around a till talking and not helping out one customer. I had a baby with me and am stunned none of them offered to help bag my groceries. I know it is not their job but try to earn you 14 dollar minimum wage. There are no hand sensitization stations in the whole store and most of the time the carts have trash in them.
Not sure why they don't price match shoppers drug mart or giant Tiger. Both are located right across the street!!!
Lovely staff, sometimes a little understocked but not in a major way. Has everything you'll need
Accepts mastercard but not visa? Kinda weird, and very inconvenient.
Always a busy store on a Friday afternoon, but the staff is friendly and helpful. I hate bagging my own groceries, but hey that is what No Frills is all about.
Store has become cleaner but alot of brands and certin items they no longer sell. Quality has dropped buns with mold pre frozen cream cheese. I'll drive the extra 5-10min to a better store
I like to go here for apples and banannys (:
Typical no frills. Deducted stars because it did not have what I was looking for ie. Big bag of frozen pineapple.
I love no frills as I am a budget conscious shopper, however, this location always runs out of flyer items and seems to not restock during the sale. I have given up shopping here and go to the other location, even though it’s further from my home.
great! had everything I needed and I could get optimum points on my purchases there????
Terrible, disorganized, feels dirty, cramped and associates don't seem to know where anything is. Aisles aren't clearly marked. Selection wasn't good, can go across to Shoppers and get what I need more easily than here. Overall not impressed at all.
Lovely clean bright store..much higher standard than a lot of locations. Well stocked
Everything on your grocery list will be found here. There is plenty of parking, the store is super clean and well organized, friendly staff.
Great deals. But aisles are narrow
I love No Frills but this one needs to clearly post prices of produce. I ended up leaving without shopping as I was frustrated as soon as I got in the door.
Good place for groceries and food
Great store if you find cheaper prices they will bring their price down to match it.
Super easy to find your items great prices
So many stores in town now have these pushy credit card salesmen that really ruin the grocery shopping experience. Needs to end. Otherwise not a bad store.
The only real complaint I have about this place is that all too often I've found myself playing a guessing game because of products having no price on them. Other than that it's your typical No Frills store ie. Prices aren't bad but selection is somewhat limited.
The selection in produce is limited and it does not always have the sales from flyer.
always good deals
This is our family go to grocery store! Close to home and good prices.
I love this store they are very helpful happy people
O.K place too shop. Wish they had half the stuff they advertised or atleast offer rain cheques.
Great store great prices great variety two thumbs up
Visit was okay. It is great they have a much larger gluten free section. However I noticed that there was regular box of eggos stashed in the gluten free bread freezer. When I mentioned it to one of the staff she just smiled and kept on walking. Guess they're not too concerned about cross contamination.
Good location.. West end needs more building projects.. Store was clean and the shelves are always stalked..to store is Big, so many items to choose from.. Love it..
No Frills does (usually) offer the best prices ... produce is always fresh, meat is good, shelves are stocked (unless it's an exceptionally good sale and all has been scoffed off the shelf), AND there's always a cashier at a register to ring up your purchases. No bell ringing "for service". On busier days, its 'all hands on deck' for check-outs. Yes, line ups can be longer than usual at month-end or special sale days, but it's worth the wait to save a 'buck or two'. Today is October 26, 2020 ... Almost 9 months into the pandemic but No Frills is up and running as usual and has been since day 1. The system of getting groceries checked through by a real person (the cashier) has greatly improved since the days before the pandemic. You only wait for a brief period of time and then you're guided to a cashier whose last customer has cleared. The system works well since you're not in, what appeared to be, a short line-up only to spend valuable time waiting. They have a good plan which should continue if we ever get the all clear on C-19. It is still a requirement to line up outside the store to obtain a recently sanitized cart from an employee. And you have to return the cart to the employee after you've loaded your groceries into your vehicle. It's a good system !!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Good prices and always clean. They always have stock of an item I'm looking for. Minus one star because there are never enough tills open and the lines get long.
Always a good place for staple items. Nice produce, but if you are looking for something fancy, keep going. But if you want to save a buck which is why we have No Frills, then this is your stop!
Never have the stuff in the flyer even on the day it comes out. If you can get downtown to that one
Mixed reviews in the past but today, store well stocked, staff very friendly, clean, well presented and have gotten into a decent pattern with Covid19 rules/restrictions.
Always have all their advertised specials on hand, clean, excellent prices, staff always very friendly.
Quick and always good sales.
Good selection great staff just a little crowded with all the covid protocol.
Fully stocked clean store. Staff very friendly
Just leaving this No Frills and will not be coming back. I head to the check out carrying my basket and place my items on the counter. Once out of my basket I count 15 things and I'm in the 12 and under check out. There is one lady behind me holding a single item, so I ask her if she wants to go ahead of me. She moves ahead with a smile and a 'thank you'. The one older gentleman ahead of us is having a hard time with his bank card not working in the machine. The checkout lady is getting snippy with him. Check out lady notices that single item lady has gone ahead of me and gives her a scowl. I lean in and say 'it's okay, I told her to go ahead because she only had one item'. Check out last turns the scowl to me and tells me in a very rude tone 'you have too many things. This is for 12 items or less'. I apologize and consider moving but she begins checking me out still angry, tossing my produce over roughly then dropping boxed items on top of said kiwi / bananas. She was just so angry! She repeats that I have too many things. I repeat my apology. After checking out I turn to look for boxes... There are none! I ask her where I can find a box and she said 'we don't do those anymore. In fact, we haven't done that for 2 months'. Basically, in the 4 minute interaction I had with her, she accused me of being too stupid to count to 12, and made me feel awful for not asking for bags that I didn't know I would need! (and no, she never asked me if I wanted to purchase any when I was checking out). I asked her if I could please purchase 4 bags. She rolled her eyes at me, stuck out her hand and said '20 cents'. I said I'd need debit (as I had no cash). This made her so angry with me that the gentleman next in line gave her the 20 cents... Just to save us all. So... I will not be coming back. The extra 2 minute drive to get to Sobeys is worth my self respect.
Often don't have items that are on sale unless you go first thing in the morning. Staff are generally helpful and they do price matching.
Great good product
Large grocery selection, good prices
Disappointed with my cashier. She coughed on her hand serving the person before and I didn't see any sign of her using sanitizer before handling my purchases. Also while I was still bagging, she ran the next customer (a couple) through the till, and let them come through to bag in my immediate proximity. She needed to sanitize after coughing, or perhaps not be at work with a cough like that. She also should have sent that customer to another checkout or wait until my items were bagged, and I was leaving the area, before starting the next customer. I'm not sure I'll be returning to this store during covid.
Love this store. Always great service and so clean.
Great selection and prices!!
I entered the store and did my shopping, noting that the shelves seemed rather bare in places. I stood politely in line waiting to be served. I was called up but when the cashier saw me without a mask, she gestured to her mask and turned and walked away without speaking to me. Someone else very politely served me. But the first cashier with a long blonde ponytail was busy talking to another staff member about it as I left. I also noted a huge sign saying the store will not longer be honoring mask exemptions. So I will no longer shop at this No Frills. Your loss, Chub & Nikki.
Always a good stop to pickup any last minute items before heading to the cottage or camping.
They Have great prices right now eye of round beef roast 2.88lb cook them .
Prices seem to have gone up with new owners! I guess because of renovation?
Great place to shop wonderfull statf
Great selection of fresh veg and fruit. Wide variety of food choices. Wide aisle for great wheelchair access. Great sanitation policy.
Sells food for good price there fruits are not always the best tho
I like no frills everywhere I go
The staff is always on top of every area of the store, very polite and helpful, way better service than other places
100% the best bananas around. Store is always clean, shelves stocked... and cashiers are friendly.
Fast checkout lines, well stocked, produce looks fantastic. My only complaint (although I understand why) I wish they accepted Visa
Hey there! Love the PC Blue Keylime Sherbet!! Have not seen it in store for a few months!! Are you going to have it soon?!
There is a wide variety of good quality, cheap product, and the shelves are usually stocked. Everything a college student to a senior could need. The only problem with this particular No Frills is that lines that are always long, and it takes forever to leave. Overall a good establishment.
Need more room in the aisles, too many clerks with large carts blocking the aisle
Had a very enjoyable shopping experience and found the staff to be very accommodating
Had not been in this store for about a year. I knew it has new owners but the produce is such bad quality. I grabbed some peaches and there was mould all over a few peaches. I used to shop here frequently but the produce was never good quality.
There is good parking and lots of carts. Inside there is mostly stocked shelves. When I was there they had some empty spots on shelves, stuff I was looking for of course. So that sucked a bit. But other than that it was as pleasant as it could be. Fresh fruit, fresh everything mostly. Good store, except for the emptiness from time to time.
For the second time I did not get my optimum points
Friendly staff, spacious aisles, well stocked and clean.
Ran into a kind employee who goes by the name Danielle. She is a very kind, welcoming person. She helped me find my lime curd. 10/10 experience and I definitely will be coming back!!!!!
Great prices for groceries. Probably my new grocery store!
Smallish No Frills. Nice workers, but limited in stock on many things. Usually better off going to George Street location.
Well stocked, fast checkout.
If there was a way to give no stars absolutely would have done that. We went there today and it was absolutely disgusting. You didn't even have to pickup a pack of strawberries to see the dark grey and white mold growing from it. The tomatoes were clearly rotting and folding in on themselves. I went to pick up a bag of mandarin oranges and my hand went right through the orange, so gross. The meat quality was looking very terrible as well. I cannot believe this stuff sits on the shelves of a grocery store. Absolutely disgusting! The owners of this store should feel super embarrassed and start cleaning up and looking after their store.
Awesome friendly staff. Good place to shop
Recently decided to start eating healthier and had a long list of fresh produce and healthy items on my list. Ken's No Frills had absolutely everything I needed at good prices. There were 4 cashes open at 12:45pm on Thursday when I attended so wait time was minimal. All in all, a great store!
Great sales this week and most sale items still in stock which was a welcomed surprise for this grocery store.
Good but not always groceries u want are available
I picked up an online grocery order thru PC express. The order was complete and respectfully bagged. Kim, went above and beyond. I'm disabled and she brought my groceries right out to me. Once she noticed I was indeed disabled she offered this special service to me going forward as well. Amazing customer retention and service Kim.
Found a set of lost keys in the parking lot...took to the til and asked they page the the owner. Was told "they will come looking for them" not happy with the reply tried to call the manager but no number listed for the store...so much for customer service!
Doing their best in this Covid era but not alot of stock in some departments.
don't use the phone number listed because it belongs to NO FRILLS CUSTOMER SERVICE. looks like this store does not cater to seniors or disabled customers
Excellent store great produce n friendly staff
Great store and the people are friendly and knowledgeable
I dislike the new hours of the store but at least the ceiling isn't leaking anymore and you dont have to dodge plastic buckets
I have been shopping at No Frills for years as well as other stores but I always like this store in particular. They always have good sales as well. Today I needed more bread on sale and Ryerson Manley, a very nice young man and charming employee got it for me. It was a pleasure to deal with him.
Always friendly and clean the only issue is they run out of things quickly.
Great prices only down fall is on a Monday or Tuesday shelves can be empty
A lot of straps on the carts are broken so cant buckle your kids in. Told the cashier and was told it would be passed on.
Always great stuff
Nice clean store. Great produce and meat. Great service
Very friendly staff and always well stocked.
Wont be going back any time in the foreseeable future. Long lineups with customers' carts full and there was at least 1 if not 2 check outs not open, in addition to the Express line not open. Stock personnel should be crossed trained to work the registers or how about self serve check outs!
Store is always clean and far better produce quality than other no frills I've been to
This store is very busy and is usually well stocked. I find the layout seems a bit strange, but it works
Staff helpful locating items sought for. As at checkout pleasant attendant speedily had us on our way.
PC express is well organized and Kim goes above and beyond if there is an item not available
Busy, but not as busy as george st location and im lazy, dont like to bag my own lol
Nice store, prices are good. I live in a town that only has a Sobey's and there's a huge difference in prices!! Sobey's should be charged with theft! They are way out of line.
Close to or expired food, dirty, very low stock, coolers are usually always broken, dairy product in warm cooler.
Closes earlier which is odd. Also missing many essentials inventory wise at the end of the day
Always a good experience .Helpful courtious.
Produce is overpriced. Your paying less than a 10 cent difference for the no name or bruised than you are going to RCSS.
Not sure what is happening to this store. Ladt 2 times I've shopped here the produce was limited and aweful. 2 days ago I purchase romaine lettuce hearts, strawberries, etc. Tried to make salad last night and lettuce was old and tasteless strawberriers strawberries were aweful too. Don't think I'll be back there shopping. Its gone downhill fast. Everytime I've gone up there to pick up something quick, its either not there or so old.
I really like No Frills The staff was great. However today in the store, customers were pushy, grouchy and rude. Merry sad Christmas.
Lots of empty shelves...sale items sold out.
Good place for groceries. Store very clean. Staff friendly.
My go to grocery store that won't break my bank! Very friendly atmosphere. There is a lot of variety in this store which I love! Very friendly service at the cash, which makes a customer want to come back! If I could give 10 stars I would! :)
Like shopping there. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Produce is fresh and laid out nicely. Prices are right!!
Stuff everywhere with very little space to walk around. Wet floor with no warning sign. As a result I felt and the owner didn't even apologize. Only asked me to introduce myself next time I'm there.
Unfortunately the no frills downtown is way better then the west end one and it's even cheaper. I'm not cheap but with the price of food 50 cents here and 50 cents there adds up pretty quickly.
It's clean, spacious, and staffed well. However No Frills has a policy on limiting # of items you can price match to other stores unlike the Superstore.
Nice store. Quick service at the Register. Maybe a bit of tidying and sweeping but otherwise nice store.
Clean, great selection and all tills are open so didn't have the wait in line!!
Small store grumpy locals. Fairly dirty compared to other stores
No frills has competive pricing, allows price matching as well
The staff are polite and always willing to help. Clean store. All covid precautions are in place and adhered to.
Plan on going to another store if you have a shopping list. The No Frills flyer means nothing at this store.
Since Ken has sold the store. It very dirty looking and doesnt stick the store the same. Sales clerks that let international students go threw the 1 -12 line with 20 items. When I made a comment about it. She said "they go back to the manger and she gets yelled at from him. That's her job to control the situation in lines not ignore. This was before the covert 19 virus.
They have the sweetest and nicest staff..
Excellent job, those that work at Chub & Nikki's No Frills deserve our appreciation for an excellent job at a time when putting yourself out there to make sure we can get our essential needs. Respectfully hope you have all been keeping well. Greatly appreciated. Thank you
During covid time, carts were cleaned and hand to patrons, store was clean, most items were in stock. Arrows on the floor, most people were following rules and .ost staff were friendly. There was a bit of a line up at checkout. Goot store good prices but during these times there wasn't a lot of sale items.
They have been outstanding during the entire time during this Covid pandemic. Well organized inside and out. Best place in Peterborough to shop and feel safe. Keep up the great work
There produce is not very fresh, rotten lemons on my hands while trying to pick decent ones and I find their prices higher than the one downtown.
Most of the cashier didn't have their mask on over the nose
Produce goes bad after 2 days.. place is packed full of people. It lined up is like to get out of the store is like trying to get on space mountain in Disneyland. Decent prices
I guess the name says it all. Only found 1/3 the items I needes
This is the worst grocery store I have ever step foot into. I'd rather starve to death before ever needing to go in here again. They are ALWAYS sold out of items. Especially the ones on sale. ALWAYS long wait lines at the cash (which working in customer service myself I can understand and appreciate) but then when you finally get to the cashier there is ALWAYS hold ups or screw ups. I end up leaving this store in such a fowl mood every single time. It is a complete waste of your life to spend time in here.
Friendly stuff, always clean, fresh produce.
The store was very busy and the owner of the store opened another Cash Line and was very very great I will shop there again great experience
This is the cleanest No Frills I have ever seen! It is a pleasure shopping here
JANET IS SUPER WONDERFUL. ...SHE IS A FANTASTIC PERSON AND HER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT
Really horrible music all day every day. I watched a man stocking a shelf, sneeze not once, not twice, but 3 times all over the saltines. He literally held his hands behind his back and forcefully sprayed lol. It's no frills. Always busy. Speedy service.
Good selection and quantity of sale items. Ample checkout staff.
Busy but lots of selection. Friendly and helpful staff
Excellent service products well organized good quality
Great prices watch for sales
Inexpensive prices and the best place to shop on a budget
Good price point great selection fast checkout
Great store, always have everything I need to make healthy meals for a growing family. And they price match too!
Always friendly staff and easy to check out , love the green lights
Prices are great they will price match with no problem. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Could be a bit bigger to have more stock though.
It was GREAT!! I was able.to buy $100 for a full cart of ALL the great specials????????????
Great selection, prices and service! Also one of the more organized grocery stores I have seen as far as covid protocol
They manage to keep the traffic, human and vehicles, sane and smooth during a very busy period....well done guys
I like this store it is very clean and the staff is very friendly I enjoy going back week after week
I have not been in there for yrs .....just needed a change . Cleaner then it was a few yrs ago and didn't smell bad ....was clean and well organized .....must say I was impressed and will.shop there here and there again ......pandemic drives u to new and old places to feel part of the world safely.......and the dollerstore is right there ....giant tiger is across the road and timmies and ......restaurant for lunch or just a quick bite. ????
I enjoy shopping at this clean bright store
Great place to shop staff very helpful and prices are very reasonable
Good for grocery shopping. They do price match too. They do not carry any Asian vegetables. Lot of good sales.
Great deals on groceries and super friendly staff. Only reason i gave a 4 star was it took me a while to find a cart without a broken safety strap for my granddaughter.
So pleased with this No Frills. Everyone is so friendly and really seem to enjoy their jobs. Chris in produce was a big help! Friendly and knowledgeable. Appreciate all that the grocery store workers are doing.
Quality of products is being decreased while prices increased. Freshco is catching up in quality and prices. All my neighbours switched to Loblaws or Freshco recently.
Nice clean store. Cashiers are nice especially Jayden
I love the store just wish they would price match more stores
Andrew and Ben were very helpful when it came to helping items. The cashier Grace was very nice as well!
Set up quite nicely. Nice and clean. Young guy out front was very friendly
I wont be back. Never stock anything I need anymore. Stocking shelves cjarring away during a weekend mid-day is not what Im used to in a grocery store
Why does “Chub & Nikki's No Frills” not have consistent and accurate pricing with “pre-selected/pre-packaged” grocery items and further the resistance from "ownership" regarding concern and understood relationship to “Scanning code of practice”? Perhaps many people can relate to this shopping at this store which is challenged in space, and you get to the checkout and something is not perceivably correct? Yet beyond our shared anecdotal experience, let us consider a specific item and tactics of inconsistent and, inaccurate pricing, and the lack of "ownership", not offering any solution or adhering to the “Scanning code of practice” which apparently "Chub and Nikki's No Frills” is to adhere to Let us consider, with the picture attached, the following; Are grocery items priced, “per”, such as “/100g”, or per unit? Generally understood, consistent grocery retail practice, grocery items are both, such as but may not be limited to When there can be variation (or "variable") in weight the advertised price is “per”, such as “/100g”, When there is “pre-selected/pre-packaged”, the price is per “unit” ie package of chips or even package of seeds Further, let us consider if the grocery store was priced per "/100g" on everything and how that might be a challenge to understanding the final price on “pre-selected/pre-packaged” items and perhaps why pricing is not done this way, as perhaps retailers pricing tactic may be to advertise the “the lowest price” not the actual price (See picture attached “Mixed nuts (which number is initial noticed and predominant) Prominently perceived advertised price is $2.97 (per 100g), but at checkout $10.51 which seems a significant difference in comparison to each other. Due to the small print of "per" "/100g. $2.97 X 354g “pre-selected/pre-packaged”) Yet in the same section there are “pre-selected/pre-packaged” grocery items that the price is as advertised and not "per/100g" When brought to the concern attention of “ownership”, there was resistance understanding of the above, perceived as complaint, defending as “clearly labeled”, even though, as mentioned and further the item is facing up and the advertised price is person facing at knee/shin height. No compromise or cooperative resolution to address concern was stated or offered. No “ownership” was taken of this understood inconsistent, inaccurate pricing, and therefore, perceivably misleading, which is understood to be contrary to the “Scanning code of practice”, which “Chub & Nikki's No Frills” doesn’t seem to adhere to, though the code is voluntary however there are signs are in the store. With another review of the picture, let us consider which number is predominant. Perhaps an understanding will be shared if we consider care and communicate. With the understanding that certain grocery items could be once "variable" in weight and now“pre-selected/pre-packaged”, for heath and safety rationale, the corporation could update their computers, and if that is not cost effective, perhaps “ownership” could supply employees with a bold marker or some other bold writing utensil so to plainly communicate price of “pre-selected/pre-packaged” grocery items to members of the community and customers. Lastly but not least, understanding and empathizing that as we age our vision and perspective can change to. Be aware of this or similar pricing or lack of pricing tactics and decide before you purchase at "Chub & Nikki's No Frills". As an alternative I understand there is a Greg’s No Frills on George Street in Peterborough. Thank you very much for your attention, reading and consideration, may good health and well-being be with you all on your journey
Nice owners, they care about their community and the best way of running a public business during the pandemic.
The store is built on a hill, so the parking lot is tilted. I like to go here for price matching, when other stores have run out of PC products I want to buy at sale price. Cashiers are friendly and helpful.
I haven't been in a no frills or any other large chain store since they started lining people up and having them follow arrows with puzzles on. Not happening. Good riddance to you and every other big business practicing draconian measures.
Very professional and organized always seem to be on top of everything very friendly staff also
Charged $8.00 for 3 lb of apples they where .75lb. they will not allow return or refund call head office and they said there is nothing they can do! Employees very rude.
Ken's NoFrills boasts a unique, pleasant shopping experience while providing utmost nourishment at an affordable rate. As a frequent customer, I would highly recommend shopping here! 10/10 would get Frill'd again.
Great prices. Good specials. Friendly courteous staff
Friendly staff. Many desireable items. Really good grocery store. Prices are generally amazing.
Chub and Nikki’s No Frills has the greatest staff ever! Everyone who works there really goes out of their way to make customers feel welcome. The store is very clean and welcoming....which says lots of their owners, who really care about their store. As a customer, Chub and Nikki’s No Frills goes way above in making us feel welcome! During these challenging times, they are really doing their best, which is amazing! THANK YOU to each and every employee
Beautiful store very clean and well kept
Management think the virus is over, no precautions
Good prices, good selection and fruit and produce looked fresh.
I like no frills. This place doesn't have as much to offer as others. But other then that clean and well organized and the staff are nice.
Very organized, friendly storekeepers and attendants
Always helpful friendly staff
Didn't have a wide selection, found a couple produce items that I reached for were moldy or rotten. And the stores aisle arrows aren't layed out in a very consistent manner. Didn't look to have proper cart sanitation either, and no employees at the door monitoring cart sanitizing. Customers coming into the store may be grabbing carts that haven't been sanitized yet. The George St No frills is a much better, cleaner experience. I wouldn't recommend the west end No Frills.
It's got lots of food options and great prices
Rudest staff and ownership I have ever encountered.
It was a great day. Early in the morning no one here. The staff r usually always super friendly today the guys doing the stocking wete awesome friendly and did their best to accommodate. There is just one cashier there i dont like but i just avoid her. She needs an attitude adjustment.
Very busy store, good prices.
It's a really competitive store mall and they have most stuff you need on a daily basis. I think they are at par with any of the other grocery malls in Peterborough
I like the products and the sales. I had a run in with the manager/owner about honouring prices posted on the shelves. I still shop here, but I'm very careful to check my receipt every time to make sure I pay the price that was posted.
Well organized store prices are good friendly staff some empty shells but not too much especially the specials
I shop here all the time .great service . Good deals
Always great prices & quality as well as excellent service!
Great services, however would like more selection is lg box special k with strawberries, classic green tea, kraft tartar sauce, have to shop other competitors,
Kinda pricey, the chicken was filled with tendons. Fresco has better meat, but good baking goods section
Love this no frills..Upscale.Clean..Same great prices
Very nice, clean store with lots of choice.
Worst produce, always out of everything can’t stand the new owner, and stay away from the only over sized man in there with the embarrassingly huge belly, he’s unbearably rude.
I very rarely shop here. Went in looking for one item in particular and they didn't have it. Staff isn't overly friendly.
I think the place is to crowded, aisle are to narrow . I go there for the sales
Nice large clean store. Quick line up.
I am in this store 3 or 4 times a week. I always bring my own bags and ask for my points. The clerks NEVER give me my bag points. They always have an excuse. Just now I asked the clerk 3 times for my bag points and he told me yes they are on there. He handed me my receipt and they weren't on there. He gave me some lame excuse. I think they are trained to not give out the points. Ever since the new owners took over the store has gone downhill.
Don't go first day of sales you will be disappointed...
busy busy but we moved through the line quickly
Employees are friendly, lots of fresh vegetables. Clean store. Thank you for all your hard work, keeping it clean.
Good. Only thing was that they only had one kind of Betty crocker scallop potatoes
Great friendly service.. Amazing people. I went on wrong day of appointment and they still took car in right away.. Thank you so much.
Good prices but limited selection on some products.
My shopping experience was good. When I exited the store it was not as good. The Guardoworld truck was blocking the ramp to take your cart into the parking lot. When I indicated to the driver that he should move back he ignored me. This took place at 350pm May 17th. Not too impressed with Nofrills for allowing Guardoworld to park in that location.
Store always clean and good quality
Big store usually a good variety of food. Good sales and prices
I was getting a couple of things between appointments, I put everything back when I saw a lineup for registers. Poorly setup.
Doesn’t follow covid protocols, I’ve witnessed the way the owner yells and cashiers the past two times I’ve been in. All the cashiers are so lovely but the store has gone down hill since the new owner. Will never shop here again, at least untill the owner starts respecting his employees, And Wearing his mask properly
Visited on a thurs afternoon...the shelves were empty...also witnessed a stock boy literally THROWING/DROPPING the meat into the middle freezer bin...what else are those stock boys doing to the rest of the food that we don't see
Great small store. What impressed me Feb 19 2021 at about 4 pm is all the school students putting things on shelfs were so helpfull to find things for me. We only shop there about every two months. They all hunted with enthusiasm and very polite.
Always out of stock or never get it in when it's on sale
Great shopping experience!
Cheap place to shop, watch the expiry dates. All the chicken wings were expired today. Staff are friendly you can get in and out fairly quickly.
Good prices and sales but often out of the sale items.
Good clean store. No outdated products on the shelves. Good prices. Good service.
Put up corn and salad . ..good
They have an attendant spraying down carts with sanitizer outside and store was nicely spaced out. Prices were great, but the entrance/exit was a bit tight.
great....was busy but manageable....took son there before he went back to fleming college
Good place to shop to stock up on food items.
Good overall, difficult to find help sometimes due to a lack of employees on the floor. Lines are often manageable. Much faster than Walmart if you're like myself and hate self checkout.
Produce always seem low or beaten up. Otherwise great store
The asparagus was very dry....not a drop of water in either display. very disappointed
Find ever since new ownership lots of empty shelves, not well stocked. Really not happy with the new hours best time of day for me to shop is after 8 this is not an option anymore. Bot able to collect as many points since i frequently end up at freshco.
Parking can be difficult at times. Nice wide ailes. Selection standard prices good
well laid out store and easy to find what I need
Clean store, friendly staff and great produce.
