Over priced, they are the only grocery they charge 50 cents more on just about everything. Grumpy cashiers, a know it all at the deli counter! Stay away from deli section your head may get ripped off if you ask a question. Over all, after being screamed at today, this store will never see my dollars again. I'd rather go without it is I need or even drive to the next town to avoid them. Do yourself a favor and go a little further down to Brockville St and go to Food Basics or there's a little veggie market not far from the swing bridge on Hwy 15. Enjoy!!

I am hesitant to go to this store as they discriminated against a friend if mine who cannot wear a mask due to disability. She was refused service and entry to an OUTDOOR garden centre. The law requires mask exemptions be accepted as per the Reopening Ontario Act, and she was told defiantly by the manager that it was his store and his rules. This is also discrimination under the human rights code. This is not the good will business I would support.

Feb 2021 update: Why does this store not sell alcohol? I understand that the Beer Store is nearby, but this is an inconvenience especially when you're looking to pick up a single can or two for cooking purposes (i.e. pasta sauce, sloppy joes). One star off for this reason. Original: Absolutely fantastic! Good inventory, great small-town customer service, never had an issue with dates on online ordering. Their fantastic order picking is the reason we still shop online for our large orders, and only go in for small supplementary trips.

We shop here regularly. But it's too expensive so sometimes, we shop elsewhere. Their No Name Cheese Shreds is the best size and price in Smiths Falls until Saputo Cheese goes on sale at Food Basics.

First time using the curb side pickup. Great service. I would give it 5 stars but I think the surcharge of $3 for the service should be waved over $35 or so. An incentive to purchase more as well as an incentive to shop there more frequently. Curbside service is not only convenient it also helps protect the staff and the customer.

After moving to Smith's Falls. I checked out all the grocery stores in town and found Andreas Independent to be the cleanest,most in order freindly staff very helpful cashiers no I would have to say all of it. This grocery store completely outclasses all the others in town by a long shot in every way. I chose this store as my No 1 grocery store. Plus they have everything I need I can walk in for 1 item or 100 items and they always have ,never run out on a sale.(Good management). Paul Vorobej.

I continue to see price hikes on most grocery items a pretty regular routine here. I think more than other local grocers in the vacinity. Store is generally clean with exception to the public washroom. Unfortunately all the flying insects buzzing around make for a very unpleasant visit. Staff is friendly and helpful. Cashiers are plentyful, who work quick and perform efficiently.

As is usual with Loblaws stores, there is a mix of experienced folks and newbies. This store follows the Loblaws formula fairly well. But if you need help, expect to talk to multiple people. Don't expect to find the variety of products you would see in a larger store.

On June 18th we purchased two 'rib grilling steaks' that were on sale for the low low price of 'only' $15. The best before date was for June 21. We thought we were getting a good deal....that is until we opened them and smelled them. The bottom of each steak was GREEN and they stank. Would never buy meat from them again.

Good grocery store with fresh produce and just about anything else you would need. Friendly staff and no long waits to get to the cashier. It has a pharmacy and natural food section but it does not have a Joe Fresh clothing section like you would see in most city Independents.

We use PC Express pickup at least weekly, it is so much easier than trying to navigate a stroller with two young children and a cart. Leona, Tik, Blake, ana Robin (and anyone I've forgotten) are unbelievably friendly, professional, and accommodating. They think of the little things, like remembering my partner's name when he picks up the groceries even though his name isn't on the account. When I do actually go inside to shop the store is always clean, nicely laid out, and easy to navigate. I've never had trouble finding what in looking for or an associate to help. Items are virtually always in stock. The cashiers are friendly and efficient, I've very rarely had issues with items not scanning or scanning at the incorrect price. Overall it's a great place to shop. My only criticism is the selection of sole "out of the ordinary" foods is limited, but that's to be expected in a small town.

Great prices compared to other Loblaw supermarkets. If you are mindful of the prices per 100 grams, shop the sales, and the similarities between name brand and PC/NN brands you can save an enormous amount here. I often leave here with an overflowingly full cart for under $200. Specialty items will cost more here.

Watch the prepared vegetable platters! Undersides of carrots and broccoli were going bad the day I purchased it even though the expiry date was 2 days away. By the actual expiry date half of the vegetables were mush but I couldn't return the platter because I picked it up while driving through Smiths Falls but I live in Ottawa. The response when I called that "there's nothing I can do" seems weak.

Very organized and clean the team of Staff also seem quite helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to asking for information. With wheelchair accessible parking along with entrance and easy to maneuver aisles. Seem to always have a great fresh display of produce along with a meat department that seems quite on the ball. Overall the atmosphere is quite calm and definitely holiday cheer going on at this time of the year. If you need to get groceries of any kind I recommend this independent as your go-to. Plus don't forget to check out the weekly flyer for weekly deals so you're actually getting savings and not paying full price for things that are not worth it. That is like any store though.
