Often I go in looking for something rather specific, like fennel, or roasted red peppers, or tofu something else that I don't really expect to find outside of a larger grocer. But they always have what I need! Great selection, incredibly convenient, and super friendly. So glad to have them in the neighbourhood ☺️

It's the best corner store in lowertown they've got everything. Had an opportunity to get the roasted lamb and vegetables it was the best I'll have it again in fact I think I'll get some and take him to my friends he is a great chef just had the chicken buffalo sandwich finally a sandwich that bites back had a cold beer to save the day all you non-beer drinkers don't even think about it you just leave with us beer drinkers for this one

What an amazing place...so many wonderful healthy options you can never ever find in a corner store. Cheeses, terrific. Organic tofu. Healthy Bread and Roses baked goods and bread. Chia seeds. Patak's instant curry packs. Basmati rice Homemade vegan and vegetarian soups, salads, casseroles and wraps. Dried fruits. NUTS. Quinoa. Every time I go there they have thought of something new to discover. Support this, Neighbourhood jewel!

Lauzon is by far the best corner store in our neighbourhood. There are two corner stores closer to me (corner of King Edward & St. Andrew and Dalhousie & Cathcart) but I walk the extra couple blocks to go to Lauzon because they have a much better selection than either store. The service is always friendly, and the prices are very good for most things (except soda & milk, both are overpriced, and cigarettes are slightly cheaper at St. Andrew & King Eddy but not enough to make it worth the extra trip)... they even have cat food -- at a lower price than the grocery store! Fancy Feast cans are usually $1.09 or $1.19 depending on where you buy it but at Lauzon it's only 99 cents! Basically, a friendly, family-owned store, well worth becoming a regular!

Hidden gem of ottawa. No mere convenient store. Recommend cuban melt or porchetta. Back in the kitchen, is at work a combinason of fresh spices blend, good meat and cheese for great and distinguished sandwhiches, poutines or fried fish. Although the sandwhiches are a tad expensive for quantity of food, its worth the experience.

A true gem in the the neighbourhood. Whether locked down or now, this now is my go-to place for everything from cleaning supplies and other household essentials to delicious prepared foods, fresh meats and cheeses and interesting pantry supplies. Kaz is always adjusting and making interesting additions. For those who don't live in the hood, there is lots of street parking.

Kaz is super friendly! The place has everything you need plus a few higher end food items. You can expect to pay slightly more than at a bigger grocery store, but the prices are fair. We love having you in the neighbourhood Kaz!
