Went to the drive through with my boyfriend a few days ago. Cookies n cream and chocolate peanut butter is amazing. You even get nice hard chunks of peanut butter. The ice cream in generally is just very creamy. I can't wait to come back

Nothing negative to say about this location other than how busy it can get at times. Yet... Soooo much worth the wait. I go just to purchase their tubs of ice cream through the drive though. Kudo's to the staff for keeping the lines moving smoothly. Try the "Death by Chocolate" ice cream... You won't be disappointed.

Too bad. Some of the best ice cream in Canada but don't come here to get it! Customer service is without a smile or patience. You would expect an ice cream store to be sympathetic to kids (aren't they their biggest customers?)... but, no. The scoops are huge (which is good for adults) but young kids can't finish one, let alone two. But don't dare ask for two flavours for a child's portion because their 'policy' is that they don't do that. Sorry kids, go ahead and pick just one (1) flavour out of the 40+ available... good luck. And, oh, could you hurry up please, because we don't have a lot of time. Oh, and if you ask for a flavour, just make sure that's the flavour you get...because they'll put anything on there that sounds like the flavour you're asking for... even if it's not the flavour.

Amazing, nothing beats the high cream content of Kawartha Ice Cream. The staff was very nice and friendly at this location. Service was quick and the facility and parking area were well kept. Well worth the drive. I went 40min off route just to come here and I was glad I did!

Great Canadian Ice Cream. Lots of mazing choices. And the portions are huge. I went for a mini and it was more than I can eat. Who doesn't like Kawartha Dairy. ? A great stop if you are in the area. It even has a drive through. Lineup after dinner is crazy. We had it out the door and even on the street just to pull in. Will be back for more next time we are in town.

Good customer service and great range of flavors are available. Due to COVID restrictions, tasting of the ice cream flavors is not permitted, eating in the store is also not allowed. Drive thru option is also available.

All the way to this place for ice cream. (An hour drive) and it is totally worth it. I mean good service with nice smile (behind the mask) I asked for huge cone and cup and it is dramatically huge!!!!! Hardly complete it!

A hidden gem on the road to Barrie. Very wide selection of flavors, one of the very few places that has ice-cream cakes. You have to try their salted caramel and the new orange-pineapple. Portions are huge so don't forget to ask for smaller scoops for children or else prepare for the mess in the car when they're full :)

The staff were very friendly and I inderstand there are changes since the start of Covid-19 , but it is very anoying that all of the icecream is served in bowels eventhough you purchased it in a cone. I drive a standard car and cannot eat icecream from a bowel while driving. So the bowel does not work for me.

Great ice cream, young staff is always friendly. They even have a drivethru, outdoor seating. Stock a bunch of specialty stuff :fudge, maple syrup, sauces, jams. Also sell their milk and all dairy products.

Incredible size for a small (double scoop) but wanted to order a litre container of my favorite flavor ice cream and was told they don't make buckets for that flavor (rum and raisin). That was a bummer. They offered a smaller container that was even more costly (7.99 to 9.99) which really doesn't make sense to a consumer. So I be only able to get that flavor while visiting a Kawartha dairy. Recommend that they itemize what you can or can't pick up flavors in the container.

The ice cream here is amazing. Lots of flavors and options. Sizes are big. The "baby" is quite large. For anything bigger I recommend a waffle cone or cup to hold it. They also have options for tubs to take home. Parking gets tight, but it's worth it.

During our family camping at BASSLAKE Provincial Park, we had a chance to visit this ice cream store – Kawartha Dairy Orillia. Store is clean and parking lot is fair enough also there is drive thru as well. Ice cream is always good from Kawartha Dairy! One point to double check with you is they said there is no dairy free one. But when we visit store nearby Arrowhead Provincial Park, they said one item is dairy free. And the name is same.

They've got some pretty great flavour selection, super friendly staff, and they also sell other meat and or dairy products. This place is busy year round. Decent amount of outdoor sitting space available.

I enjoyed eating my Mocha Almond Fudge ice cream (small size) from Kawartha Dairy. During this COVID19 pandemic Kawartha Dairy at this location are servicing customers either via drive thru or store front (door) service. Staff are friendly and wearing their mask. If you know what ice cream you want, I suggest to go through drive thru even though there is a long line up of cars outside. It looks deceiving but those customers in vehicles got their ice cream faster than the ones who lined up outside. I waited in line outside just because I couldn't drive and eat it at the same time. Also I wanted to enjoy my ice cream in my parked car. One more thing, the parking lot is very small. There's probably about 10-15 parking spots. It was a little difficult leaving or exiting the property when there is a long line up of cars waiting to order.

It was good!! Cheap price for big scoops and many flavors to choose from. Also has lactose free and sugar free ice cream. The costumer service was excellent as well, the employees made most orders within 5 mins, even when they were very busy.

I prefer Barrie Kawartha. I found the ice cream soft and dripping down the side of my waffle cone when I got it and their baby cones are half the size of the baby cone in Barrie Kawartha.

It is on the outskirts of the city so most people would need a car to get there. The service is great. They have a large selection of ice cream flavors. They have many speciality item too. Like; milk and baked goods. The prices are very readonable.

I love their ice cream and they have very friendly and quick drive thru service. I was disappointed in their Birthday ice cream cake. I thought it would be like Dairy Queen with a mixture of cake and ice cream but it was not. Solid pc of ice cream iced and not really pretty.
