If you're looking for produce, go here instead of No Frills or Food Basics. Better prices, fresher food, quicker line ups. And if your GF is mad at you they sell fresh bunches of flowers for $3.99, which if she doesn't find out their cost will make her un-mad at you.

By far my favourite place to go in Toronto for fruit and vegetables. The prices are decent in general, and then there are always a few things on super sale. There is nowhere else I have seen to consistently find berries at a good price, even in the winter. You can often get larger containers of blueberries at 2 or $4 or even $3. Spinach and leafy greens are almost always low priced as well. The only issue is parking. The best option is the Food Basics parking lot, which is free and close.

Reviews here are ridiculous. There is nothing cheap in this store. Prices are the same as in supermarket. First time I got strawberries there, was have to throw them away cause they were with molds . Gave a store second chance, bought blackberries for 1.50$ that have the same issue and gone to garbage

Great prices and good quality produce. Unlike in Chinatown, the produce here is not badly bruised or halfway to rotting. There is a decent selection and when it's good weather, they expand their storage to the outdoors. It can be a bit difficult to maneuver in the store because it's small and it's cash only or debit for purchases over $5, but these sacrifices are worth it!

Honestly this is the best place to buy fruits and vegetables, I’m never going to grocery store for this stuff. Fresh fruits and vegetables available at very reasonable prices, like you can find organic stuff here for the price of regular fruits/veggies in grocery stores. Their herbs smell fresh, like they have been recently picked from a local farm/garden. Customer service is also on point, I saw somebody picked a box of salad and went to the pos to pay for it, the cashier saw it and she went like “oh this is not good, it’s going bad” then she asked the person to pick another better looking box and threw the box that was going bad, like who does that? They could have easily sold their bad salad.

This store is by far one of the cheapest fruit stores I have encountered in Toronto. The prices are usually cheaper than the other grocery stores most of the time. I can usually walk out with three bags and only spend $25 . The staff are very friendly and pretty quick to cash you out. The hours are pretty good too.

Sunny Green is a small store specializing in fresh Fruit and Vegetables. Selection is limited and varies by season but prices are very good. I try to check their prices before shopping at Food Basics next door and then come back for the bargains.

I can see this place which is now called Wellsley Fruit Market might be under new management given the type of reviews its had in the past. I bought 6 honeycrisp apples, raspberries and some blackberries. The raspberries were moldy from the top row down, When the apple was cut in half it was all brown inside and the blackberries also were moldy. Obviously they are buying old fruit from the wholesale, putting it on sale a whet looks to be a good price and profiting from it. I threw more than half of my purchase into organic waste and the rest followed the next day. Don't waste your money, its not a bargain here.

Excellent fruit produce. I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 because of the customer service skills of one of the workers. She is a young girl who has a very poor attitude. She has no service skills and she seems like a miserable toxic person. Her parents should let her work in the back and not be around people. She is disrespectful to customers, and she is a self-centered girl who has no clue as to how to deal with people.

Cheapest prices for fruit and vegetables that I’ve encountered in the GTA. Lately the store has been getting a lot busier but the staff members are fast and efficient when it comes to ringing through purchases, so even long lines don’t equate to a long wait time. The prices are ridiculously good here...almost dangerously so. I always end up buying too many fruits and vegetables. I would suggest checking this store for any produce you need to buy before going to food basic next door as the prices are considerably lower here
