So far, I've bought a cat palm, ZZ plant, and snake plant from the store. It's not just the plants but the pots as well! A lot of cute ones, especially for the small to medium-sized plants. One of my current favourite plant shop! I just recently discovered this plant shop which is quite far from me as I leave up north but I always go here to check out lots of varieties of indoor plants. They have almost all the varieties of calatheas which I love! The first plant that I bought here was the Calathea Pink Pinstripe plant which I couldn't find anywhere near my place. Also, I just recently got this Stromanthe Triostar today online on their website where I got 10% off and Annie is very nice and replies instantly to my messages.

Great little place to avoid the long lines at Loblaws if you are just grabbing a few fruits and vegetables. Usually the produce is much cheaper too, and she carries lots of organic fruits and vegetables. Produce can sometimes be a bit hit or miss- either really fresh and great or a bit on the old side. However it’s FANTASTIC for all your house plant needs. Lots of tropical plants, ferns, fig trees, succulents, bulbs and cut flowers. Great prices for downtown.

This market is the BEST gem I've found in the entire city. I travel about 50 km outside of the city (where I live) just to come here for their variety of plants and AMAZING customer service. The shopkeepers are the nicest, kindest, and most considerate people. They give time to people and will help answer any questions you have, and even if you don't have any questions, they'll provide you with the proper plant care instructions! This place is the pinnacle of customer service, great prices, fantastic response times, and a wonderful selection of goods. I know a lot of locals love this spot, too, and as a non-local - it feels so close to home :)

My friend frequents this place, so when I arrived in Toronto she took me to see it. Right away, I fell in love! The plants are excellent, and cheaper than the nearby plant store options. Very cute and welcoming environment. If you’re looking for a plant store I highly recommend. Sabrina was an amazing staff member as well.

I NEVER do online reviews, but this time I simply had to. Annie helped us with selection and delivery of a birthday gift plant in Toronto. The entire communication took place over email, as I'm located in a different city and did the whole search and order for my work. Annie communicated promptly, she made recommendations, even agreed to go the extra mile to add a birthday greeting (which they normally do not do). She was friendly and flexible, I couldn't ask for a better service. Best of all, the birthday gift recipient loved the plant (red Prayer Plant), and she said that the store was her favourite! I highly recommend the store and Annie Cao!

What a hidden gem this place is ! I honestly would have never really went in judging solely on the exterior since it looks like a convenience store but it's actually a jungle inside ! Don't forget to visit the back patio for even MORE plants ! The plants are also very reasonably priced; I paid $65 for a snake plant that goes for 85 to over 100 at Dynasty. I also really loved and appreciated the lady checking me out giving me instructions on how to care for the plant. It's just such a nice thing to do, great customer service.

I’ve discovered this shop when I was googling for “air plants in downtown” and Queen’s was one of the top results! I’m so happy I found this place, it definitely is a hidden gem and the prices here are competitive to other plant shops in downtown Toronto. The ladies who work there are very knowledgeable and helpful! I’m new to planting, so i always ask them if a plant is good for beginners. They give a lot of tips and advices that help me start my planting journey. One time I got a pot before getting a plant, and the size is not as common; they helped me find a plant that fits perfectly in the pot!

#1 favourite place to buy plants in Toronto. They have a really aesthetically pleasing, unique selection, more options out back plus beautiful pots. I have wandered around the city always stopping in at all the little plant markets but never found one i like as much as this. The prices are fine considering it's downtown as well.

Have been coming to this store for two years since moving to the neighbourhood and their plants are always healthy and affordably priced. Happy to say my Olive Tree and ZZ Plant are still going strong! I normally pick up Tulips, Eucalyptus, potted herbs or sometimes cheap and easy Babies Breath or simple green stems used for bouquet filling to bring a little green to my condo. With the city currently in quarantine I’m more conscious than ever how beneficial it is to have plants around to purify indoor air or as a mental pick me up. I would highly recommend stopping by Queen Fruit Market if you are on the hunt for some greenery for your home. A small amount of green makes all the difference- treat yourself.

We just went into this store to buy a plant that is safe for cats. I have to say this was the best place to buy a plant. They have such a great variety of well looked after plants but the girl helping us out was so great-Even googling to help find safe plants for animals. I live relatively close to the store, but her husband had the plants delivered to my door within the next two hours, and she followed up to make sure everything was alright. Love this place. Great selection of plants and prices. It’s fairly easy to miss if you’re walking by since it looks like a traditional convenience store, but it’s a jungle in the back. Also has a great outdoor area in the back during the summer with an even wider selection of plants - bigger in size too.
