Bought these chips on a whim from Costco here in Alberta. What a pleasant surprise. They have a perfect texture to sate my potato chip addiction, and the taste is great. Don't change a thing! I'm going back to buy a bunch more bags.

I'm kind of confused because no one else has complained about this. Every time I buy the apples, the insides have already turned into this faint black-pink colour. I'm not sure why, maybe this is normal...? I'm not risking it though. Never going to buy apples from here again.

Homey feeling in the little shop that is tucked towards the far end of the parking lot. Many varieties of apple to choose and sample from. There is also delicious apple cider! Other produce are available by the season. Local preservatives, crafts and produce on display.

Visited today for the first time since renovations. Brace yourself for a major disappointment if you knew and loved the original Martin's Family Fruit Farm. The wonderful variety of local produce is gone, no more veggies or local produce of any kind except apples-literally just apples. The warmth and country charm is completely lost in a slick dark modern looking store that is totally incongruous with the locale. I will no longer be visiting here, my family and I are sad to lose this former gem of the Waterloo Region.

Fruits right from the farm. I come here for the apples, they are much better than in grocery stores for the same or less price (if you buy in bulk, like half bushels)

At Martin's Family Fruit Farm you'll find more than just apples. In the store they have many varieties of apples to buy in bulk, for a restaurant or store. You can also buy smaller amounts for the family at better prices than a grocery store. They also sell peaches and pears. Martin's has apple crisps(like a chip), cider, sauces and even maple syrup. Their main business is apples and I think they do property tours when covid's not around. Martin's Family Fruit Farm is a great place to learn about the apple business and purchase some farm fresh apples too. Plenty of parking outside the store front. The place just got renovated in 2020 as well.

Great place to get your apples. Variety of Ontario apples available & close proximity to the St. Jacobs Farmers market and Highway 85 at the North edge of Waterloo makes this farm outlet attractive. Moreover you can get other vegetables & farm products like: honey, maple syrup, home made jams, etc.

Wow! This was my first visit to Martin's Family Fruit Farm so I do not know what the "before" looked like but I can say the "after" of their latest renovations is stunning! Modern but warm and friendly (including the staff during pandemic times), everything was extremely impressive. Love that we could try their hot apple cider and I thoroughly enjoyed my caramel apple chips safely in the car outside. I could not wait! Very cool location with tons of other local products also available to try. A lovely place to check out and support throughout the year.

Great small shop with everything I usually need in a week other than baking/supplies. Has tons of veg/fruit plus preserves, cheese, milk, and eggs. I often head here for a pleasant quick shopping trip for local food without the crowds at the market.

Fancily overpriced. Out with the family looking for fall activities. Paid 15$ for a dozen apples. What a rip off. Drove up to a random farm with a sign out front later and they were selling BUSHELS of the same apples for 12$.

Nov 2020 update - store reopened with the suave of an urban loft. Completely rebranded has more of a microbrewery vibe. Larger qty apples preboxed in 5 lbs and up to bushel type boxes as well as 2nds are still avail. New products such as bath bombs beard oil and a variety of soaps and lotions and more. Prev review: Lots of varieties and sizes of apples (including 3L 6L half and full bushels) seconds avail as well. A nice selection of locally grown veg in summer and winter (including tomatoes by nearby Elmiras greenhouses) Also local preserves of peaches and pears in jars local cheeses and eggs. You know when you see the locals shop there including the Mennonites getting apples its a good place. I've seen honey crisp apples the size of a large grapefruit... You don't see that anywhere else!

If you want some good quality apples, then this is a must. The prices are very nice, and besides the apples, one can also find Ontario grown vegetables at very nice prices. The personnel is very friendly and welcoming.

I have never been here, my comments are entirely based on only one product. The best "crispy apple chips" out in the market. It was my first time trying something like this. I was little Sceptical when i saw the chips in the vending machine, i thought to myself "wht the heck is apple flavored potato chips". Whn i opened the packet, i got that aroma of cinnamon and got a feeling that its gonna be a different experience. My first bite, woww, it was amazing, like little pieces of heaven. I finished one packet under 1 minute and I went back nd took all the "crispy appls chips" from the vending machine❤️❤️ Plus, not too much calories, no preservatives ( not like all the other chips companies dump sodium and other stuff in to these), and it wont make u run for a glass of water. Amazing job bringing somehing like this to the market.

Stopped at Martin’s Family Fruit Farm store today for the first time. I was expecting a big country style market. Kinda felt like I was in a museum. Apple chips are great. I haven’t tasted the apple pie jam yet. They need to sell fresh baked goods like pies and apple blossoms!

The store on the farm is a great place to get apples (high quality #1 at retail price, as well as very good seconds at a great discount price). They also sell an assortment of Ontario produce from other sources (potatoes, coloured peppers, etc) and Maple syrup, honey, apple butter.

Quite expensive but the apples are worth it. They're fresh and taste great, so much more than grocery store apples. I also recommend you try their apple cider. Just a heads up though, don't expect to come apple picking here, it's a retail store only.

Bought a box of apples Honey crisp they're all bruised would never buy anything there !!!!!! Very disappointed !! My friend got the same and there all bruised as well were talking all of them. So save your money and buy else where !!!!!

I'm sorry to say my family is sad in our hearts today. We were so excited to see Martins again, we missed it so much. It's renovated, the loving country warmth is gone now, stripped away, atmosphere is gone. I grew up excited to go and eventually took our grandchild. She was sad to see the drastic change. We won't go back again... ????

Early yet for too many varieties of apples. Picked up some Gingergold. Cold storage on site for apples. Some apple related products. Friendly and helpful staff. Masks needed, restricted numbers and hand sanitizer at door.
