So many apples picked right out back and they even had spy apples!!!! Lots of squash and beautiful wonky gourds. Lots of other goodies inside including a yummy bakery section. Very nice, clean, can get all your fruits and vegetables, baked goods and specialty. Great place!! Must go.

PEACH PIE HAD MOLD INSIDE! I just bought it two days ago! Good thing I noticed. Fruit mold is VERY dangerous. My guess is that we ate the first two slices with mold and didn't notice. Mold doesn't grow that big in two days! It had to exist when we bought it. I am SO grossed out I feel sick. Everything in the store is way over priced. It leads me to believe that they are about money before quality. That pie was likely held onto too long in order to sell it. They were charging $8.00 for a jar of pineapple salsa. Ridiculous. Also, the jars of Neal's salsa and dips are $5.99. I just checked Sobeys and they are only $3.99.

We'll curated with lots of local goodies. Try their sunflower bread. You can also ask to have it semi-baked and frozen so it keeps longer and can be baked fresh at home for breakfast or lunch!

Baked goods are very tasty. Oatmeal bread was very good. Corn was probably the best I've ever had. Oatmeal/cranberry/ walnut cookies tasted great and even better after slightly warming them in microwave. Will definitely be stopping by again next time I'm near Thornbury. And the staff was so friendly and helpful.

Took a fall drive to Thornberry and dropped into Goldsmith Orchards. They offered a wonderful selection of apples, squash, pumpkins as well as other fresh vegetables. We came home with 4 bags full of fresh goodies. My only beef was there was only 1 checkout person which, as I found out at the end, contributed to the original queue to get into the store and pay. Having said that I can’t wait to try the apples!

UPDATE: I am very happy to share that Goldsmith's is the kind of place I very much enjoy shopping at - and you should too! Their COVID-19 specific returns / exchange policy has been revised to reflect the most current science-based guidance and community safety protocols. Having seen my review, the team responded promptly to 1) apologize for the negative experience, 2) explain what had happened, (their original policies reflected the best information at the time), 3) share that they were updating their policies, 4) offered to process my exchange if I was still interested and 5) added a little "make good" bonus for the inconvenience. This is TOP SHELF customer service - not only did they admit things weren't right, they took steps to correct them and gave me a reason to come back (and evangelize my now much more positive experience). Great work by the team at Goldsmith's Orchard Market! ++++++ ORIGINAL REVIEW ++++++ Used to love stopping by this place, even if “shopping local” meant paying a little more for the same products - until they sold me an Ashanti Decaf vs Regular (grabbed as I approached the till) and then refused to swap it out - I won’t be shopping there again.

Absolutely love their corn, prices are great for Ontario corn. Their apples and produce is also amazing, just depending on the item can be a bit pricy and found a bit cheaper down the road. Love the atmosphere here. The staff are always lovely. Their Thornbury pie is a must try! My favourite to bring to cottages or have with family.

Great place, products, prices, and friendly staff. I was looking for a particular hybrid apple and could not find it anywhere, but here and the quality and price was just right. They also has other products that were in demand and this was evident in the throngs of people there on a Sunday.

I received one of the cherry pies from my daughter. It was sugary on the bottom, had far too much sugar and almond flavoring. Quality control needs to look into this product. Perhaps a new recipe is needed

This place has some of the best pies and butter tarts! The Thornbury pie is my favourite and I always need to grab one whenever I’m going by! The fresh fruits and vegetables are amazing. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help! This is somewhere I always suggests to guests to stop by before leaving.

Have to say they have some awesome pies! Tried the thornbury pie...think bumbleberry pie but with apples in it as well. I think it's one of the best pies I've ever had. I dont know how the crumble top stays crunchy , but wow. Even after warming in a microwave it still has a crunchy top.

Came here for the great apples. Many variety. Very flavourful. Their fruits have a fragrance that supermarket apples do not have. Update : One more thing... I really like their way of crowd handling inside the store... There is only one door to go in and one door to go out. The entrance and exit are separated by a barrier to prevent you from going in through the wrong door. You go through the store in one direction only like the Ikea concept. After you pay and exit, you signal the people waiting in line how many more persons can enter. It may sound straight forward, but there are some many Lean concepts in this methodology that you don't see in other retail spaces, including the massive box store. Great job!
