This is a fresh fruit and vegetable market, but I also come here often to browse their bouquets. There are different selections throughout the day, and I frequently see them sell out and restock different ones in the span of a few hours. Pro tip: there’s usually some additional ones inside, to the right of the door.
The quality of their produce is high, and they have cheaper, marked down items available inside at a discount. Several items in the refrigerated section match, or are cheaper than the grocery stores (including dairy free yogurt, which is horribly overpriced). Onions and herbs are much cheaper than Metro! Amongst many other things. And even at a higher price, you can’t beat the local produce they bring in.
I have shopped here for years, take photos often (almost daily of the flowers), and can say that I’ve never had a bad experience as described by another reviewer. They have always been friendly and kind.
In regards to the comment about debit and credit fees - these are the fees charged by the credit card companies, and they’re simply passing them on to us, the consumer. It’s not uncommon for small local businesses to do. Yes, it’s covid. But they also wear gloves when handling the cash. If the fees are an inconvenience, try to grab a twenty from one of the dozen banks around College Street before you stop in.
In summary: this is a better than average local produce shop that has fantastic flowers at great prices.
