Fantastic quality of produce - you really can see and taste the difference! Carload fruits and veggies are beautiful and last much much longer than conventional grocery store produce. I have never been disappointed by a single item that I have bought here and miss Carload when I'm out of town - they really raise the bar. Flowers and organic produce also available as well as local eggs. I cannot say enough good things - go check it out for yourself!

Bloor West Village has no shortage of greengrocers and the expectations for quality are high. At the moment, Carload delivers the highest quality, freshest produce most consistently. It's not infallible (and frankly, for high volume items like head lettuce or carrots, you may even find fresher items at the local No Frills) but for a wide selection of both organic and non-organic fruits and vegetables it is consistently among the best.

Excellent selection of fresh produce at reasonable prices. Bought a massive pot of Basil yesterday for a mere $3.99, as well as sugar snap peas that were so sweet and delicious, I consider them healthy "candy". Their floral selection is decent, and staff is somewhat friendly and usually proactive if they sense you are looking at flowers or need something you can't find. They also carry organic produce, and a selection of groceries that would save you a trip to No Frills when you figure out what you are going to make for dinner i.e rice paper wraps, stir fry sauces, and a dairy cooler with fresh cheese. Always busy, but the store layout makes it easy to navigate, seemingly less congested and the line-up moves quickly.

Pretty decent selection of organic produce for the size of the store. The price was pretty good as well. Better selection, pricing, and quality than fiesta farms and metro. Organic produce that they had: Kale - pretty fresh Celery - pretty fresh Carrots - juicy and sweet (don't get the bigger size ones as the slimmer ones are more juicy and sweet Green collard greens - pretty good but not as fresh as the Kale and other leafy produce that they had Yellow beets - sweet and juicy Spinach - didn't try as the pricing is better at Costco Romaine lettuce - they looked good but haven't try them yet They also had other things there that I haven't picked up yet. Please note that I normally use the above vegetables for juicing. I live about 7 - 10 minutes drive here and I don't mind as the vegetables are fresh and the price is worth it. I find that I waste less buying from here than other places that's closer to where I live.

This place always has very fresh produce. I don't know where they get their grapes, but they are the best grapes I have ever eaten. However, it is expensive. It's not like your typical small market that offers lower prices. It's more on par with a Sobeys. The staff may seem rude, but once you get to know them they are okay. Very fast and efficient service. Close parking around the back if bloor is unavailable.
