So much organic goodness, so many choices, so much stuff you won't find anywhere else .I always walk in to just pick up one thing and end up leaving with bags and bags of groceries and 300$ poorer because i just can't stop myself when I'm here

Great store overall, curbside pickup has been making my life easier. I wish item prices were available on the website, though I understand this is not an easy thing to put in place especially on a short-term notice with increased online shopping demand. Staff are always pleasant on the phone.

Really good value compared to the bigger organic guys. Don't expect lavish, exotic items here but do expect really good quality basics that can fill any fridge and pantry at reasonable cost. I'd give them a 5th star if they upped the variety of gluten free/vegan meat substitutes but every similar place falls flat on this.

It's a good grocery store for produce and some specialty items. The steak meat selection is very sorely lacking. Only a couple of options of frozen steaks. I really wish they had a butcher shop on site with "market fresh" cuts of steak. There are very few good butchers in the area with later operating hours.

I love how they're organic! I don't want to leave a fake review because it's not honest, but I'm asking them to reconsider their no mask policy as im exempt also, and it's difficult to get bullied like that! I've got PTSD and being harassed is a trigger. It sucks.

A family member of mine who has been shopping here since he moved to Oakville was berated by an employee for wearing a face shield since he has a medical exemption and is unable to wear a mask. The employee was not polite about it and forced him to put down his items and leave the store. I'm very disappointed that he would be discriminated against for his medical condition and I will not be shopping here or recommending it anymore.

I love this store. They definitely have some of the best prices on organic products that I have seen. Even though typically grocery stores carry organics for cheaper, Organic Garage's prices are even lower in my experience. Their Dutchman's honey is also better quality. They have everything you need in one place. Great customer service as well. No complaints.

Friendly staff, clean store, ample parking, on accessible public transit routes, and walkable from the neighbourhood. Fine selection of organic produce, toiletries, and natural household cleaning products. Yeah some of the prices are a little high but I simply compare them to other nearby grocery stores and only buy the products here I can't get elsewhere or products where they aren't priced higher here. Worth a visit. I regularly shop here and recommend it.

I’ll never step foot in this place again. My deaf father is not allowed in the store because he can’t wear a mask or shield. The owner thinks he should be grateful to pay extra and shop online. If you refuse service because of a disability and then charge them more, you deserve to fail.

Disappointing experience today. Due to poor merchandising the products were not sorted correctly leading us to purchase the wrong product. Once discovered we brought it to their attention and they were both rude and refused to allow us to to exchange. They went as far as telling my daughter it was her fault.

I have been shopping here for over 10 years. The owner of this store selects great quality products. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The prices seem to be creeping up a little but that is to be expected. It is still one of the best stores to go to for organic foods at reasonable prices. If meat is your thing head out there when they're having sales -- there are usually deep discounts.

I've been shopping at the Organic Garage for years now. They have competative prices on most things. They will often have good sales but their stock dependability is low. They are often out of certain things and seem to take a while to get them back in stock. All in all I would far recommend Organic Garage over Whole Foods when it comes to produce. They only carry organic produce.

Very nice store and provides some wonderful options you might not be able to find elsewhere. A lot of bread options for people with varying dietary restrictions so that is something to keep in mind when going. The prices are also better than whole foods on a lot of specialty items. Recommend checking it out to see if its a good place for you!

Organic Garage Oakville has great produce. Love the selection, prices are reasonable.The floor staff are very helpful. Usually a fun and pleasant trip but this afternoon March 11th,2018 I had a cashier experience that was upsetting. I approached one of the two cashiers to do a return as she had no customers. She dismissed me by turning her back. I repeated my request but she instead paced about then acknowledged the next customer who was walking up. This older blond cashier completely ignored me. Worst customer experience I have ever encountered.

My Family absolutely loves This Stores . For Quality ,Variety,Value and Price it beats those other high priced stores in Oakville and Yorkville. We drive from Toronto for all our grocery and produce needs. This is a one stop location. They're butcher counter is very helpful with a variety of Certified Organic Meats. The packaged products are awesome and really well priced. A lot of items you won't find elsewhere as well so I drive quite a distance for this reason and the price. The produce isn't the best quality unfortunately so I tend to buy produce elsewhere except for apples because it's decent enough and the price is drastically better from other locations. We have been shopping at Organic Garage in Oakville for the past three years, but unfortunately looks like we have to stop going there as the level of professionalism, customer service and attitude of the staff at the cash registers has been getting worse overtime. Today when my wife asked the lady at the register - "Beanie" (if I'm not mistaken) - if she can wrap a bar of soap in paper, she not only gave us attitude about it - as if we committed a crime not knowing there was paper available next to the soaps - but also threw the soap in front of us after putting it in a plastic bag! Please invest in training your staff. This is disappointing and unacceptable!

This store's produce is rarely fresh. It is often wilted, and if not, it tends to wilt/spoil far faster than organic produce found elsewhere. At times, it can be appalling what they will leave on the shelves that is clearly past. If ever you see an "in-store special" on produce, avoid at all costs, because you can be sure the produce IS spoiled. They too frequently have problems with checkout lane management. They have no express lane, even though they desperately need one. And far too often they have only one person on cash, even with a long line up. I have given up and left on more than one occasion. They do have some good and unique items, and their packaged foods are reliable. Pricing tends to be marginally better than Whole Foods (just down the street), but even that is a crapshoot and they are still very expensive. All in all, it feels like Organic Garage tries to be a bit cheaper than its competition by running things very close to the line - on staffing, inventory, and food quality. Unfortunately, it shows, and all too often leads to a bad customer experience in one way or another.

A nice place with a good selection of products. I've stopped here a few times when I needed things, it has a "hole in the wall" feel to it like most of the organic stores I've frequented like The Big Carrot downtown. In all honesty, I do find sometimes shelves aren't restocked quickly enough and I've found the layout a bit confusing, leading to me wandering the store for considerably longer than I should have to find something. All things considered, though, it does really seem to have a decent selection and the staff is usually helpful.

I won't be coming back to Organic Garage anymore, they didn't let me go in because I have a medical condition and I can't wear a mask, so they didn't respect the law nor my rights. They should respect the valuable people that spend their money everyday at the store. Shame on you guys!!!

Most natural stores are super expensive and this is the first store I've come across that changes that notion. The store is on the smaller side, but they've managed to make the layout workable and cram tons and tons of stuff in there. The staff are extremely friendly and once again the prices are amazing.

Nice place with good selection. My only qualm with them is that though their fresh produce is quite cheap, it goes bad quickly. Their berries have been moldy many times. Their other stuff is good though. Sushi is surprisingly good and this is the only place I know in Mississauga that sells organic peanuts.

WONT BE BACK. 12 people in line up... One cash open, asked an employee if they would be opening another and was told “I don’t know”. Asked another employee was told “they are on their break” I said can you get a manager? Manager sent the kid back and said “someone will be out In 5-10 mins” I asked him to send the manager out and asked him why he couldn’t hop onto the cash? Finally got a second lane open. 5-7 people walked out. Owner should have a look at how this very expensive business is being run. Will stick to whole foods and goodness me from now on. I purchased the one item and returned the rest without buying.

Organic garage is a great choice to visit if you are looking for healthy choices in fresh and packaged food, toiletries and pretty much anything else you would find in a health food store. They have a butcher counter for those who eat meat. On the weekend you can get a free coffee while you shop and they have a free magazines at the front such as vitality. You need to bring your own bag unless you want to pay for one. I purchased an aloe vera plant a few years back and I now have several around the house that came from that initial purchase. In the summer they even have organic plants and potting soil on the way in to the store. Be sure and grab a shopping cart on your way in since they don't have them in the store unless you're just picking up a few things in which case they have baskets. Produce is not always the freshest, probably because everything is organic and it doesn't have as great a shelf life as genetically modified produce. If you have a problem something going bad quickly, they will replace or refund, so customer service is great.

A hole in the wall store that's 100% worth checking out. It has a awkward layout that's interesting to maneuver around but other then that they have amazing friendly staff. The prices are amazing here! Best prices around for organic natural type groceries. This place will definitely become a regular stop for me even tho I don't live close by. Better value than Whole Foods, mostly local produce, a meat/deli counter with enough variety, a bulk items section that will satisfy most needs, a make-your-own-fresh-nut butter section, two handy sale sections (one for produce and one for other food products and items), friendly staff and complimentary organic coffee on weekends. Where has this place been all my life????? HIDDEN GEM IN OAKVILLE, if not ALL of GTA. This place is honestly heaven on earth. If you are looking to eat organic but do not want to hurt your wallet, then do not hesitate to come here. Their prices are very competitive (actually some items are cheaper than Longo's, Fortino's and Metro!) It is small but it has everything you need. The meat selection is a bit pricey, however, you can always shop here or your local butcher if you are trying to "organic budget". Overall this place is a A+++++. PLUS you are supporting a local grocery store! (win-win!) I will be switching my grocery shopping here for life! Keep up the good work.

They have a great selection of plant based and vegan options in terms of plant milks, and fresh organic veggies. It is like a food boutique with everything I need including supplements and vitamins.

On the packaged foods their price is not far off Whole Foods, sometimes better sometimes worse mostly the same, I never buy produce from them so I can't comment there.

Long time shopper here. Today's experiance at organic garage was just terrible. They only had one cashier on when I was there. He informed me that he normally isn't a cashier and he would serve me as best he could. Well the man seemed very nice, you could tell right away he had no idea what he was doing, he was looking at sheets of paper to find codes, wasn't able to accept my cash. We all have places to be and I cannot afford to wait around for 10+ minutes well simply trying to get groceries. It is utterly ridiculous that organic garage has no cashiers or have anyone to call in apparently to lend a hand. Exceptionally bad customer service on the managerial end for allowing this to happen. I will be sending an email of my disgust to the owner. Get a better business model and use the money you make to hire more staff. I will never be returning to any OG location ever.

It's a great place to get some harder to find vegan items. A lot of selection for organic product. The prices are a little high but that is to be expected. It is nice to get those vegan treats like chicken nuggets and fish that you don't normally buy. Staff are friendly enough. I've never had any issues shopping here.

Always a great place to shop, and have many sales all the time, they don't overprice their organics, like wholefoodstores. The atmosphere is very pleasant! When they ran out of the grapes on sale, I asked if they had more and they were very helpful and went to the back to check if they had more. Very kind and friendly place. I will not not be shopping at whole foods, unless I have to.

Fantastic staff and wonderful selection of products I can’t find anywhere else. Prices are pretty reasonable too. If you have dietary restrictions it’s a great place to go. Just two cautions, make sure you check expiry dates. There have been multiple occasions that I accidentally picked up expired items from their shelves and if you’re looking for specific products, call ahead or ask what their delivery schedule is for that product. Fantastic products but often (especially with fresh things/things that expire soon) they’re not in stock when I want them so I end up stock piling when I do see them ;) totally worth it though!

It's okay. The prices can be a bit high such as $10 for 2 gluten free buns and when you get a bottle of milk and have to pay $2 extra for the bottle. And I tried to return an unopened item and was refused which made zero sense, but the place is quite unique and you can find some really interesting items you can't find anywhere else so that is a bonus.

Got kicked out with a full basket of groceries because my plastic mask was no longer acceptable. I'm medically exempt from a wearing a mask due to health conditions. As a loyal customer i spend $ 250+ weekly at the Oakville location, as i like what the company stands for, they have the most loose packed produce with less plastic packaging and great prices. However, i must say this store needs a much better sanitary and cleaning standard, especially the floors, they look like they have never been cleaned! Its a night and day difference compare to Wholefoods or Natures Emporium, they are much more cleaner and tidier. I believe this is very important due to food safety. Also the store is very dark and not a comfortable environment to shop. I always just want to grab the grocery and get out fast. Maybe a light renovation would help or just simply mopping the floor more often. The staff can also be more friendlier as well. I will continue to shop here because i love to support local Canadian companies however i do hope management will consider this feedback.

Today. As I entered the Organic Garage, a cashier that was pacing around waiting for customers, stopped me & said I was not allowed to shop because the mask I was wearing did not comply with their store regulations. I was wearing my scarf as a mask as I have been doing for a year and a half now & no one has ever interfered with my choice of a mask. After I heard the ridiculous reason from this woman blocking a REGULAR customer from shopping, I told her " Then, I will never shop here again!" and left, and I never will ! INSTEAD I WENT TO WHOLEFOODS & AS ALWAYS THEY WERE SO FRIENDLY & HELPFUL & I WORE MY USUAL SCARF & NOONE HARASSED ME, AND I SPENT OVER $75 DOLLARS. SO FROM NOW IS WHOLEFOODS ONLY! Wholefoods is amazing in comparison and the prices are only pennies more. ALL Worth it! This experience reminded me of the Gestapo.

I bought a coconut couple days ago, i did not realized until i checked my receipt that coconut in Organic Garage sell it by lbs. just imagine i paid $5.63 for one coconut it really surprised me that coconut sell by lbs. I am not sure if they're doing right with their pricing or any other store sell the same. Do they know what is coconut. This is something that needs to bring store owner's attention.

I visited Organic Garage of the first time recently after seeing them online, and I thought it was quite nice. I took my time wandering throughout the store as I’ve never been before. They had a lot of new things that I haven’t seen at other stores, so I was eager to buy everything I saw. However, their customer service is lacking. The cashier was very unfriendly to everyone I saw her checkout including me. And was more focused on talking to another cashier then greeting anyone. But I did like the things that I purchased...the lack of helpfulness is just off putting.

This review is just about their corn tortillas; they carry a lot of brands but none are fresh. I was in today and found one package that expired in August, others expired yesterday (sept 17th). 2 packages had expiry stickers for tomorrow, Sept 19th, but were already moldy and had red spots of mold on the tortillas. Not sure if this was because moisture was in the packages or if it was because the expiration sticker could have been switched to keep them on the shelf longer. Then I found 2 type of frozen corn tortilla in the freezer but they had no expiry date at all. One brand had a ton of ice chunks in the package too so it looked like they had been there a while. The other looked okay and vacuum sealed but I was feeling grossed out about the other moldy ones so I didn't buy.

Very disappointed to hear that you will no longer be honouring mask exemptions. This is blatant discrimination and shows a total disregard for those that cannot wear a mask. There are many that cannot wear a mask and online shopping is not an option as they may not have a computer or internet connection or a credit card. Unless this policy is reversed I will be taking my $400+ per week elsewhere where I am welcome.

I have been a long term customer of this store and must say I thoroughly enjoyed my weekly trips to get grocery essentials. Their unhomogenized milk and dairy products are second to none. Unfortunately I have now moved abroad for a while and this is one of the things I really miss. I can't wait to get back this year and visit the store again. The staff here are wonderful. I never had the impression that they are not inclusive as a person of colour. they are always helpful finding the items whenever i can't find it . I was here last week i ask 2 staff at the cashier if they have moringa i can't sems to find it, they said they never heard of it and said sorry. I said i would have Google it but i don't have my phone so they Google it and apologize they don't carry the product.. now that's what i called good customer service ????????????????

If you want to be physically & verbally abused with a medical condition please shop at Organic Garage. Having shopped there for over 2 decades I very recently came across Jessica a belligerent, argumentative totally unqualified "mgr" who refused me on the basis of my medical disposition without question or consideration or anything. I was threatened with police abuse for the 10 mins I spent attempting to be reasonable & respectful, for her to negate everything explained as a paying customer since all she did was shout at me. All my constitutional rights fully violated. All for the want of simply wanting to retrieve an item held for me not 10 minutes earlier. At no time was I offered curbside pickup even as I requested alternative options to purchase. If you wish to pay premium price for mediocrity and zero client service you can enjoy the abuse and vitriol of Organic Garage.

Great selection of fresh produce and keto products. The staff are always helpful, especially the produce staff. I like that whenever I shop here I feel safe and welcome. The store is always clean and well stocked. This is my go to grocery store for all things organic!

Organic Garage Oakville has such great customer service. The produce was very fresh and so cheap compared to the other Organic retailers. I will be making this store my only grocery store. 10/10 service. The young man working produce helped me shop and find all the items on my list. Great job Organic Garage.
