Here you will see the opinions of real people who are buying the products and services of Galleria Supermarket (Fruit Store) in Oakville (Canada).
Right now the firm receives a score of 4.4 out of 5 and this score was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is quite positive, and it is founded on a very high number of opinions, so we may think that the assessment is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to give their review when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to give tatings when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Fruit Store is classified in the category of Korean grocery store.
Ok wow. This was a surprisingly awesome experience - I mean, for grocery shopping, and considering it's the only reason I ever venture outside the house right now, this was just wonderful. They wiped down my cart as I entered and returned it for me and man everyone here is so incredibly polite. It reminded me of being back in Japan, except with delicious ready to eat Korean food. Definitely recommend you stop in.
Very good prices and selection of Korean groceries. Just a note, that the prepared food/restaurant section at the Oakville Galleria is much smaller than the Toronto Gallerias. It's mostly cooked & wrapped food for takeout, but they do have a small eating area and a microwave for re-heating.
The lady at the counter was so wholesome! Best customer service possibly in a grocery store.
Very clean and well organized. Fresh vegetables and meats.. I love this place.
This place offer more variety than PAT Mississauga. It depends what you are looking for ????
Love this store - you can get most of the Korean/Japanese ingredients here and their store made food is delicious too
Love the store! Lots of varieties, different Korean cultured foods, can be a bit pricey but understandable why
I really enjoyed my visit to the store they were very helpful and helped me find the things that I needed
Love the hot kitchen food. Convenience for lunch choice. Great price if you put rice in a separate container.
I wish they had better selection in Japanese food item, especially rice. They only have a few Japanese rice and the price seem generally higher than their immediate competitor PAT Mississauga.
Good for Korean oriented groceries. There is also a Korean restaurant on site for the ones who want to try original Korean food without breaking your bank. Staff may not fluent in English. However, they are really top notch on customer services.
Very clean, great supply and friendly bilingual staff. I can always count on the Galleria for having all my Korean favourites.
Got some good and nice kitchen tools.
The price is overpriced comparing to PAT but the store is clean, organised and the food is good
Great place to shop for Korean grocery. The food court is a bit sub par tho. The food isn't as great as it used to be, portion is smaller compare to typical korean restaurant but it's cheaper
Best supermarket, great prices on meat, a bit expensive for the usual Canadian stuff but you can buy a lot of Asian import mostly Korean stuff.
Good experience. Would be nice to have more products from Korea.
Love the fresh food here. Prices are comparable to any grocery store in its 5km radius and has most of your grocery needs. You do need to come in here with some patience the first several times to figure out what and where everything is. If you're looking for something in particular and can't find it then ask one of the helpers wearing the Galleria vest. Bring your Google translator just in case they don't speak english well. I asked another shopper about the veggies in Bibimbop and she asked her young son to translate into english and it was great. I do love that they lots of 'ready to be cooked' korean food. I'm beginning shop here way more often so i can support this small grocery store.
A compact supermarket, small but clean and real good quality food is being prepared here, waiting for you to enjoy. Hot food (korean food) and real sushi are made with heart, also ready for grab n go. Quality beef sold here. Dont forget it opens late until midnight, yes midnight!
I love Galleria. Because, I can get Asian stuff and vegetables is fresh too. I love it!
Great grocery store for all including Asian grocery items. The restaurant/cafeteria inside of the store serves yummy Korean food with decent price.
A nice Galleria location. I've been to all of them and this one was small but did have most of the items you'll need. I see why they do special sales for this location only. Sadly I am not from around this location so too bad. Due to the virus it is sad the Galleria's kitchens were shut down.
It is probably the best place you can find if you want korean stuffs. It is cozy compare to one in toronto, but basically you can get eveything you want.
A small Korean grocery store. Some food are unique Korean style and they taste very good.
Parking is a bit of challenging. Other than that, friendly staff and good products. Their ready cooked food trays are good. Good Korean grocery.
Very nice grocery store specializing in Korean food. They have a really nice prepared food area and on weekends they provide plenty of free samples.
Very nice and clean store. Tasty sushi at good prices. A lot of Korean specialties.
Love this Korean market. Their hot-food deals at 6pm is what makes me come back every time.
Good place to shop for all your Korean groceries. Found everything I was looking for. Prices could be a tiny bit more competitive hence why it's not a 5 star.
The price a little high but staffs are nice and they have many delicious meals. Love the insant boba, it's so good and I only can find them at this store in Oakville. Always back to buy more boba and kimbap (fried chicken too hehe)
One of my favorite supermarkets to go. There is a food count where you can taste authentic korean food, but I have to say that some of my favorite soups are too spicy, would suggest to have the non-spicy ones too. Mom’s fried chicken is also my favorite, it’s fresh and not too oily! Lots of Korean products, you can almost find anything you need. Price is a bit higher than PAT. But it’s close to home, so no complaints.
My favorite Korean supermarket so far. Very clean and well organized. High quality meat and vegetables.
Overpriced, mayo cost $8 for a small squeezable one. Dorito chips $4.50 a pack Other chips are also Overpriced Most of their Asian items are waaay Overpriced, I would go to nations if I were you.
This is one of the best places in Oakville to experience authentic Korean culture. The store being a part of a well established chain offers mainly food and other households such as kitchen equipment and Crocker and cutlery. Newly expanded cafe style ready to eat food department is not comparatively cheap but of high justifiable quality to price. Great customer service.
Clean space. Tight compared to other Galleria. Opens only until 10pm, unlike the other locations (open 24hours) Parking is always available.
Much needed Korean grocery store in this area. Great selection of items, also food court is awesome. You can order the Korean fried chicken here, it takes 30 min to make. Check the flyer for sale.
A very good Korean supermarket. Clean and organized. Love the shopping experience there.
Great selection of Korean, Japanese & other asian products...along with western staples too (less fresh bread). The store is immaculate, always spotless, which should be of great advantage during these times to ensure buyer is safe. Brightly lit, unlike other asian stores that use dim or differently colored light ovrer their fish & meat section. Try the short ribs, they have a marbling that will melt in your mouth when cooked. Overall food little pricey though. Also try their ready made soups at the hot counter, especially pork bone, which i really hate to give away because sometimes it runs out when people know about it & makes me sad. It comes very close to Owl of Minerva's Gamjatang & if u know....you know. Prices a tad higher than other asian stores in area, but the 5-star is highly deserved. Keep in mind it's small, not a Loblaws size. You may need another trip to a bigger store to stock up.
Great little Korean grocery store. Could use more Korean side dishes. There are several I look for but not carried.
If you love Korean foods, or kitchenware or kitchen stuff, this place to be first in your shopping ???????? place
The Korean style sushi rolls I gave it a try every few months. It always have a scent of fresh washed laundry. They might have been using heavy scented drying sheet or some sort with their cloth to dry their utensils or even covered sushi with it. I couldn't finish my food because of that scent. The rest of shopping experience usually fine. Ok, update on April 11th 2019. Sushi roll no longer has dryer sheet flavor. Yeah!! Though, here is our feed back after ordered food from food court today. Their picture is not anything close to the product especially the spicy seafood tofu soup!! We sent it back and let the kitchen know there's no seafood in it. One lady doesn't speak much English in the kitchen said "there's seafood in it". An other lady who speaks English took it back to the kitchen, let it seat there for 3 more minutes, called us back to take it. We tried our hardest to find seafood this time. We found 1 anchovy, 2 strips of hair pin thin rehydrated squid in total. My husband and I just laughed out loud but we surely feel decieved compare to the picture which shown 2 full shrimp with shell, and octopus tentacles on it. Another customer beside us ordered beef soup found only 1 piece of beef in his soup, we all laughed out loud. Well, please either adjust the picture plus the wording said spicy seafood STOCK tofu soup. Or adjust the product to put make it at least closer to the picture on the ad. I truly want our local Korean grocery store to success. There's obviously ton of room to improve. QC needs to keep up on it. The speed of service in the cafeteria part is annoyingly slow as well. So please indicate the approximate amount of wait. Waiting for 25 minutes for a simple dish is not acceptable. There were only about 8 customers..
Assorted korean goods, fruits is a bit pricey, lots of ready made korean cusine and there is a korean fast food restaurant located inside this supermarket, definitely smaller than the other locations
Good Korean Supermarket well stock with all kinds of Korean products. Tasty cooked food & reasonable prices
Great grocery store! Awesome meat selection. Some nice hot food too.
My favourite grocery in the area :) Although I like asian food and such
Excellent place to find Korean groceries, their homemade tofu is excellent.
I found a lot of Asian food and ingredients I need, fantastic!!!
While smaller than the two other locations, this store is stocked regularly and has what you need for Asian groceries. The takeout food is good, especially the hot table and korean fried chicken. It’s bright and clean. Staff are friendly.
Great place and very helpful team members , but...Need more English explanation for items.
Great supermarket specializing in Korean food and grocery needs.
It's a small supermarket. But You can find all you need to make a Korean dish here. Even some nice Korean masks and cookware. The price is reasonable and the staff are nice and friendly.
Nice Korean supermarket, you can find all kinds of Korean food, and also a food court
Everything is so fresh and clean the meat is amazing and so is the produce.
Went in to get ingredients for my gamjatang, pirella leaves & seeds, nappa cabbage, all I needed in one stop ????
So happy to find this Korean grocery store within 25 minutes from my place. Clean, tidy, and lots to choose from. I appreciated the friendly staff at the door offering Sanitizers and a clean shopping cart. There are certainly some high …
Great customer service, exceptionally clean, and an amazing place to shop
Cleanest supermarket I’ve been to. Products looked fresh and the pricing is right. Hot plate area looked delicious too!
Well stocked asian grocery store (primarily focusing on korean goods) with plenty of goodies to shop for. The produce and meats both look very fresh. While you're at it, the sushi is pretty on point considering it's grocery store sushi! You'll be able to find whatever you're looking for here
Good prices, friendly staff and fresh produce. They have a good selection of Japanese as well as Korean ingredients.
A little pricey, but a great place in Oakville to get great Asian ingredients.
With the Pandemic guidelines in place, they are doing a great job enforcing. Great place to find Korean brand items.
Excellent Korean supermarket. Good collection of Asian fruit and veggies. The sushi department is a bit weak, but they have great collection of steaks and hot pot sliced beef / pork / ribs. The food court there is great and well priced. Seniors discount every Tuesday.
Very neat with basically every Korean grocery item you would need and then some including household items and beauty products. Especially like the prepared foods section and they have the best kimchi. A little pricey and can be crowded though, early morning is probably the best time to avoid the rush.
Prices are good. Hot foods section is delicious. Best spicy Sweet and sour chicken.
A nice selection of Korean foods and ingredients in a convenient location.
Best Korean supermarket yet! Large amounts of different kinds of food! Lots of free samples!
This store has some unique things that appeal to a non-Korean
This was my first time shopping at this supermarket but I was really impressed with how clean and organized it was. Staff seemed very friendly as well; I was looking for white kimchi and one of the staff members actually walked me over to the shelf and even pointed out the product I was looking for. The only thing I couldn't find was napa cabbage (they were selling it in bulk). I'm very happy we finally have this type of supermarket almost right in Oakville.
Lots of Korean and other Asian groceries. Friendly staff.
Great store.. clean, lots of different items. pushing the use of reusable grocery bags by offering discounts.
Great supermarket to find ingredients for your Asian dishes especially if you like Korean or Japanese dishes.
Its Good for Korean Grossers only...
Clean and authentic grocery mart where you can buy excellent Korean stuff!
Clean, with amazing choices for hard to find cuts of meat and good fresh produce. Friendly staff, but it can be challenging to find English speaking staff that you can understand. .Also, nice to grab a quick lunch from the hit table. A little more expensive than the Chinese groceries, but leaps and bounds better quality and so much cleaner and fresher.
Awesome for all your Korean and Japanese food needs. Their hot/prepared food is good too!
Love it. It's a Korean grocery store. You can also find some Japanese food. Ready to eat section is very nice and always fresh. You can find any ingredients for authentic Korean recipes. I wish there was a store like this closer to Hamilton. I would recommend this location to everyone, specially to Korean food lovers.
The supermarket is very small so they don't have as many selections as the other locations. They do carry the staples and have a small diner in the back. A great addition to an otherwise homogeneous town.
Well staffed clean place. Lots of people. Lots of interesting items you won't find in a general store.
The only reason I gave 4 stars is because this is the smaller Galleria location and parking can be stressful at times! Otherwise it is good to have it in Mississauga!
So much available! I found all the ingredients I was looking for.
Good food and grocery. Beware of traffic in parking lot and food might be a lil too spicy
You can find great Korean dish with great price here
Good quality Asian grocer. My family likes to buy meat and produce here.
Amazing quality of vegetables and meat. A bit pricy but in general a really good Korean supermarket
It's rather far for me, but they do carry stuff I can't get anywhere close to me. They have good options in their hot ready made food section. I do dislike how narrow their aisles are. If one person with a cart is in it, there's no room to get around them if you have a cart or even the red basket. Not sure if it was just the day I went but I was seeing a decent number of items completely sold out on the shelves. Either they hadn't restocked the shelves or I'm seeing the first signs I've noticed of the global supply chain issues. All in all, nice to have a Galleria that's closer to me than the ones up north.
Best grocery store for Asian food
There's a reataurant attached and you get awesome Korean food - and not too wxpensive.
I love this grocery store, fresh produce and meat. Great asian/Korean selections and the ready made food is also really good!
I just love the array of food and the customer service here ????!
Pork bone soup & Pork cutlet is so amazingly tasty. Also quite reasonable with the rate. Highly recommended.
Fun to explore grocery stores that are not of your culture. Only bummer was that there wasn't much prepared food available, but I was there the day before a statutory holiday.
Staff is extremely kind, willing to help, a true Korean supermarket. Would definitely recommend this place for all your Korean needs.
I went here today after a long time. I would say the staff are still lovely and approachable. It has excellent customer service. We all know we have difficult life for the past couple of months, and it does not hurt to say hi or hello to someone, and the cashier did it to me.
Nice store and lots of interesting Korean products . The fried chicken from the in store hot food place was really good. Clean and well organized store.
Great selection of Korean food, very clean and friendly staff!
Staff is nice. We went here to get a korean spicy paste and they have it. We asked the lady if they have a cornstarch and she show us where is it. Thanks.
Best red grapes and fresh produce, worth the price
My goto Korean grocery store. Everything is great but Meat price is just out of realism. No other complaints. Try their Korean deep fried chicken by calling 30 mins in advance. Simple fried and spicy chicken are great for Oakville. You also get one free after 10 orders!
Good Korean grocery selection. Reasonably priced
Good place to shop for fruits and vegetables. Their produce are fresh, nice big isles. It'll be nice if they sell alcohol too.
A super clean Korean supermarket. the freshest Veggies and Fruit selection featuring S.E.Asian product, emphasis on neat and super clean presentation. A pleasure to visit there and to enjoy an alternate shopping experience.
Love the selection of Korean foods and the fresh meat they offer here
I love this little grocery store. After living in Korea for a couple of years there are cravings that sometimes need to be satisfied and this is the place to get any ingredients. It can be a challenge to find perilla leaves, which are necessary for any bbq experience and this is my go to spot. Plus their cooked food section has amazing kimbap!!
Small place and a little pricy. But always fresh and clean. Good price for take-out. A go-to place for weekday lunch.
The Galleria Supermarket has all the products that we've searched for in other Supermarkets and couldn't find. They have many imported foods like soup mixes, noodles, drinks, snacks and more. The store is bigger then it looks, clean, and well stocked. All the employees are very nice and helpful.
Hot table selection is very good. Good selection of asian shelf foods .
Very clean grocery store. You will find most if not all Korean grocery needs here.
love this place. clean
Best deals for Samyang ramen, amazing self serve hot food
Very clean and organized. Amazing selection!!
Good selection of Korean foods and snacks but staffs sometimes not the greatest. Not welcoming unless you voice your opinion.
Loved this place for great variety and prices. They have lots of prepacked food items as well, so you can have a bite right after doing shopping or even use a little restaurant on the side of the store. Lots of parking, clean restrooms and friendly staff.
Small, clean and good varieties of fresh fruits, veggies and other cooking items. Good safety measures.
Very expensive place to shop daily items. I don't agree to shop there unless I need specific Asian items. Most popular stuff can be purchased through online or regular grocery stores.
I really like shopping here, friendly staff! The parking is terrible on a busy day, but if you have patience you can find something
Korean groceries super store. Good location and kind staff. Recommended
Great selection of Korean goods. A bit on the pricy side though
Smaller version of grocery compared to the one in thornhill..sells good quality produce and korean products
Nice selection of Korean food, fresh, frozen and prepared. Friendly cashier's and definitely a place to stop when in Oakville.
Great place to buy fresh veggies and Korean specialties. Now that we discovered.that it is in Oakville, we have become regulars.
Asian glossary shop A lot of Japanese food are
I decided to check this place out after a coworker brought in food from their lunch counter. It smelled great so off I went. This Korean grocery store is packed with many food options and also has a ready made counter (to take food home and reheat) and a hot lunch counter. The staff is very friendly. Strangely they sell milk but don't carry any cream products? My family enjoyed all of the food I bought here. I can easily recommend it.
Great Korean store. Plenty of fruits and veggies. You can find all sorts of Asian goods here.
Clean store and love it over other competitors in mississauga.
First time visiting nonkorean. Great small scale supermarket, lots of prepped food that's quite good in quality.
I really like this grocery store. I stop off here to pick up the rest of my grocery items after doing my round at Farm Boy.
I bought a box of 12 bowls of cooked rice vaccume sealed, microwavable. This is the biggest korean super market in Mississuga. They got take out korean food by weight. Now they extended seating place to order and eat korean food after the check out.
Korean supermarket. Nice place place to look for Korean foods or Korean ingredients. Nice and friendly shop keepers and staff.
You can find so many Korean product but its more expensive :)
Love this supermarket! I always make the drive to get fresh fish for Korean dishes and ox tail for soup. You just can’t get this quality and freshness anywhere else. They are currently renovating the resturant next to them so they can serve hot Korean food. The parking lot is very busy in the plaza, but the store is wheelchair accessible.
Nice place to go if looking for some korean foodies.
Has most of the korean products, however this location is a lot smaller as such lesser products which is not as great as the other Galleria Supermarket.
Good selection of products, many of which are hard to find in larger grocery stores. For fans of ramen and ramune, they stock many varieties (and were helpful enough to help us figure out which ones were spicy, since we couldn't read the packages).
Interesting Korean grocer. Some things are priced well; others not so much. We got 4 red peppers at Nations for $4.00, one red pepper was $4.00 here. However, it's an nifty place to poke about. Their Kimchi selection was amazing. If you shop for Asian food items, you will find it here.
The meats here are always of good quality. I also appreciate how neat and organized everything is, unlike some other Asian grocery stores. It makes me feel safe shopping for groceries here knowing I am buying quality products.
I always get their veggie kimpap and ricecakes and they're SOOO GOOOD. I also buy my veggie dumplings here!
Good place when you want Korea foods and other stuffs. The lamp roll for hot pot is more fresh better than regular supermarket. Also you can get snack in the indoor kitchen.
This review is re: a Mom's Chicken order from Galleria in Oakville. Last weekend, we placed an online order for extra spicy 7 pcs and fried 7 pcs chicken. When we brought the order home, we realized all 14 pieces were spicy so we called the store right away to inform them that our order was incorrect. The CSR Emily insisted that we had placed an order of 14 pcs extra spicy only according to her screen even though we told her we had a confirmation email that clearly stated it was half and half. She even went so far to interrupt multiple times to say that wasn't possible and that was what we had ordered. When we asked what they were going to do rectify the situation, she said there was no 팀장/manager on site so there was nothing she could do. Only when we said "this is too spicy, we cannot eat this", she said that she would try to prepare the correct half and half order with no offer of free delivery or any other compensation for the inconvenience. She also called us again while we were en route to the store to remind us to bring back the wrong order of chicken. When we got back to the store, Emily took a picture of the confirmation email so that she could show it to the 팀장/manager and also took back the wrong order of chicken but still did not apologize or admit that it was their error. According to her, in their system, the order came through as all extra spicy. Another CSR called us back on Monday and fully admitted that this was 100% Galleria's fault and apologized for the poor customer service we initially received. There were so many opportunities for them to correct the situation but they failed every chance. In the end, we were offered $20 gift certificate (not full compensation for the chicken or the inconvenience). We feel there is room for improvement in their customer service and and their online ordering systems.
This market has always been well stocked, clean and efficient. The food and produce always appear to be fresh. I tend to go to Pat's Korean Market which is the same distance from my house really. So I don't know why I just …
Clean and affordable groceries with a small area for takeout food, including big jugs of kimchi.
Love the fast food here. Mainly the reason that we go. Definitely recommend the bulgogi. Cold noodles in the summer. And the packaged pickled seaweed salad
Good selection of quality meat. Got home before realizing didn't get the sale price on the chichen soup!????????????????
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE WITH MY ENTIRE HEART!! They have everything my family needs to cook up wonderful food, and the Korean restaurant beside it is spectacular. As a half-Korean, my family loves this place very much I desperately wish I could give this place a higher rating than 5 stars.
Best Korean grocer in Mississauga, hands down.
Nice small supermarket! Great hot table, and a good bakery section. Great variety, and not super packed inside.
The restaurant inside the supermarket has very delicious, authentic Korean dishes like pork bone soup, black bean noodles, bimimbap, and very spicy seafood noodles. The prices are very affordable (around 10 avg price per dish).
Selections are... limited, compare to other Galleria in other locations. Aisles are so tight that stroller in the store is not recommend it. Store made ready food are subpar
I love this place for all my Korean cuisine needs as well as some kitchenware. If you feel like simple korean food, you can dine there in a buffet style at a reasonable price. I do, however, find their price quite high. Vegetables are very fresh and the place us relatively clean. You can also get some tips on Korean cooking if you know some korean. They also opened a small inexpensive restaurant connected to the grocery store. Give it a try!
Went in for the Mom's fried chicken for the first time and it is as good as people say!
Quality meats! But pricy
Well stocked Kind employees A little smaller than some of the other locations but glad we finally have one in Mississauga
Love this little Korean grocery store. We enjoy the fresh produce and the authentic Korean food served here. Great for picking up a gimbap roll or sweet and sour chicken for dinner.
The third one in Ontario. Always a great selection of Japanese and Korean products. It's a bit smaller than the ones at Thornhill or York Mills but they carry most of everything.
Smaller than the one in Toronto. Doesn't have a large food court, only a few chairs facing the window. A microwave was provides. Buffet stand disn't have all dishes open to choose. Kitchen us small too. However, it's still well organized, and try hard to provide everything, although in reduced scale. Washrooms are on the second floor.
Helpful service when trying to find the best authentic ingredients, and the ready to go food is excellent, especially the Korean fried chicken.
Good selection of packaged foods however their produce is overpriced and not as fresh as it should be. For this time of year they should have fresh local produce...so much fresher and less exoensive. Store clean and well laid out.
Mom's Kitchen got the good good fried chicken.
Still a very clean supermarket. But it is a shadow of its other locations in Toronto. The selection is much less in comparison. They sometimes do not have certain brands of products we specifically like. Secondly, their prepared meats are sometimes spoiled. I recently purchased some prepared kalbi on a Monday, and discovered them to be spoiled (they tasted a bit sour). Had to throw it away. I've never really had issues with the Toronto locations.
I found my favorite teas there. It's worth a visit for their amazing collection of asian teas and jams.
My go-to Korean supermarket!! Recommend for any of your Korean grocery needs! I especially love the hot food counter (takeout only for covid)
Interesting Asian foods and Asian health and beauty and kitchen wares. Clean and well stocked.
Nice supermarket and great quick Korean dish to experience.
They sells sewage smelled plastic bag for packing at counter. I hate it. I dont know why. Maybe save money ?.. It makes my shopping feel very bad. As soon as I arrive home I threw the bag.. No Canadian store sells sewage smelled bag. I feel a shame for Koreans. Hope they change it...
A little dirty inside really small, but it caters to Korean market. If you like Korean groceries it's great, lots of ethnic products.
Great customer service
Mom's Kitchen has some pretty amazing Korean Fried Chicken...the REAL KFC!!!
Very pricey and lacks selection
The grocery section is fantastic but what really stands out about Galleria is the Mom's Kitchen restaurant. For $5 you can fill a tray with so much food and actually be satisfied. It's all tasty, healthy, fresh and cheap. Very impressive!
Great Korean grocery . You must visit there.
Ready made delicious Korean meals at great prices. Buffet available as well.
A public accommodation or facility is not allowed to ask for documentation or proof that the animal has been certified, trained, or licensed as a service animal. ... Entities cannot require anything of people with service animals that they do not require of individuals in general, with or without pets. Today I was at the Galleria and soon as I arrived in the store i was verbally attack because I had my service dog with me. As I walked in the store five employees followed me. They told me my dog had to leave the store. They has the nerve to ask me what me health reasons for having a service dog. She is a small breed and very quite. Most people really like my dog. They wanted documentation. I do have documentation but not with me at the time. I have a letter from my Dr. and card that says she is a service dog. I suffer anxiety, panic attacks and have PDSD. This incident was very upsetting and uncalled for.
The place has decent Korean products. They also cook Korean street foods - Mandu, Kimbap, Dduckboki, Sundae, etc - on site. The quality of the foods were about the average. However I appreciate the fact that I can do some snacking after grocery shopping at the same place.
Nice story and good products but some items are more expensive then other Korean stores.
Staff are truly friendly and helpful. Small supermarket, but with a large variety of products from every category (focusing on those available in Korea) and fresh produce. They also have prepared hot/cold food stuffs and a separate, small-ish (about 20 or so?), seating area.
Not a big location but crammed full of unique Korean groceries. And their ready2go Kimchi fried rice - delicious!
Parking is always a problem, but they have variety of Asian food/products.
Great selection of Korean goods. Also has a cafeteria as well
Good place to buy Korean food. Good deals. Open late.
Smaller than the North York location. But decent selection.
Store require face covering and limit number of customer in the store. Place were neat and clean. However, the store is small with limited space and the aisles were very narrow which is hard to keep 2 meters apart.
Clean store with friendly staff. Many hard to find produce and great selection of noodles and ready to cook items.
Mostly Korean products, can get basic products here. This is a smaller store compare to some other locations, some products might be limited at times. But still have all great features Galleria carry, such as hot food and seating area with free wifi.
Generally everything is OK however only one thing the sushi corner makes me disappointed very much, I think they have some problems.
Huge grocery store with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as household items and prepared meals.
One of our favourite grocery store. Korean stuff to be exact. Very fresh meat and fruit ????????????
Nice clean supermarket. Fresh produce with focus on Korean vegetables like perilla leaves. Love their fresh milk bread loaves and Korean sausage buns.
Well lit and very clean. They make good use of the space provided and have an eating area for their awesome hot food and kitchen.
Great place for Asian food. Sells a wide variety of food and staff is helpful.
Great place for cheap food. Have very unique and interesting food that you wouldn’t find elsewhere. Makes me want to come back and try a little of everything.
Great hot food selection and eating area to complement it. Plus you can grocery shop at the same place.
One of the smaller Gallerias that I have been to but it has everything that you might need in a pinch. If you are looking to purchase a cake, you have to order in advance. When I visited, the place wasn't too busy.
I really love this grocery store, unique selection of options and everything seems fresh. Its not a big store but had everything for my shopping needs. I wish more of these stores were around. Also it was clean and organized. Thank you.
So clean and so big. So many products from Japan and Korea. I am Japanese and this is where I go to get Japanese/Korean groceries. Highly recommend.
There are multiple locations of this chain grocery stores. Oakville one is one of the smallest among them. but I like it better because it's less crowded and therefore kept more tidy and clean. Still carries most of the items and premade foods. Their premade foods are quite good and has large selections.
My favorite Korean grocery store. Their meat and vegetables are very fresh and good. Plus the snacks and rice cakes.. Yummy ????????
Sometimes bit pricey but good place to buy groceries and korean food
Good store Clean. Always fresh vegetables and excellent meat for hot pot.
Has many varieties of Korean goods from frozen stuff to fresh Korean fruits and vegetables. Not very interesting if you are not into Korean stuff. The people working there are not very friendly. I went with my Korean friend who bought a few stuff but I came out with nothing as canadian goods there are highly priced.
The store is very organized and clean. The cashiers were kind and helpful. Especially, the cost of foods in cafeteria was reasonable and yummy.
We recently discovered this grocery store last week. Wow what a gem! The place was neat, organized and very clean. We were able to get everything that we wanted on our list and then some. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for Asian.
Small but has the foods needed. There is also a small restaurant where foods are inexpensive.
Good service and fresh produce the self service ordering at the restaurant is very easy to use and service is quick
Why have a phone number listed when you don’t pick up the phone? And when no one does it hangs up? Completely unacceptable. What if someone wants to call to see if you have something in stock and drive there just to find out there’s nothing left??? Happened to me today, had to drive 30 mins to get there just to find out there’s no items I needed. Complete waste of time and a lack of organization on Gallerias part.
nice shop
Great for Korean food. Not always the best service, but you put up with it, or drive 30 minutes further.
I am extremely glad that this store opened up in this area. Now I don't have to make a trip to the PAT supermarket (another Korean groceries) on the other side of the town. All you would expect from a supermarket is there including fresh produces, meats, various spices, sauces and condiments, snacks, and etc... There is also a food bar that sells Korean snacks and meals - I frequent during lunch hours for a quick stop on a work day. Overall a great addition to the area!
This Asian Supermarket is way out of my way, but it won't stop me from shopping there. The store is very clean. The fruits and vegetables are of high quality products. The meats and fish is absolutely top notch. You have to shop there to see it for yourself.
Smaller than other galleria locations in the GTA and doesn't have the same product selection, but it is always clean and the food is good.
Always clean, super friendly staff. Great COVID protocols. Always feel safe entering. Best selection of Asian foods. Delicious made in house food.
There's KFC and there's Korean Fried Chicken. This place have one of the best Korean fried chicken, sushi/sashimi, bento boxes, all fairly priced.
very good
Very Clean Place to Shop for produce They also have nice wide aisles safe enough to social Distance comfortably.
If you need any good quality Korean cuisine or Asian cuisine ingredients, this should be your go to place. As well, they now have cafeteria where you can order food, study and meet people
Very nice supermarket. Probably one of the best in Mississauga. They have hot food as well and the food items are always fresh!
Nice to stop by for korean products but be wary, they don't honour their flyer prices. Twice now where this has happened. They tag it as the flyer price on the shelves but when you go to pay for those items you're charged at regular price!
I was in the area and decided to pop in and see what they have. To all who read this. The fruits and vegetables are top notch. Their meats MELT in your mouth. I keep going back every week and I do not live in the area. It's a small shop, but I'm very impressed with the quality of food.
If you need a quick lunch, the hot table serves fresh, delicious food for a fairly low price
Close proximity for a quick shopping for Korean prepackaged groceries. In terms of precooked food, quality can be improved.
Didn't have my Asian spices that I hoped they had
Wonderful galleria have all kind of food!
I usually go to Galleria for Korean food as well as some fresh and quality meat, fruits and vegetables. Price is a bit higher but it is worth it. The store is well organized and follow Covid-19 guidelines. With the restrictions, you may have to line up a bit as they control the numbers of customers instore. I will give 5 stars if the cashier is more friendly but usually they are not.
Very fresh food, but price is way more expensive than other Asian grocery stores.
It is a smaller place. However, it has all the necessary items, so it is great for a quick stop shopping whenever you are around there.
Very crowded but always the best quality produce, fish and meat
Everything was great, but i just wanted to post this solely for the macarons that i got for almost $6: Don't buy the macarons they make in-store. They're garbage.
Beside shopping for groceries, I enjoyed the restaurant at the front. Good Korean food and reasonable price
I haven't been there for a while so I was surprise to see they have an eat in area. It is really good . Prices in their menu is reasonable. I recommended it right away to some of my friends..
Good fresh food and good quality product
Their hot table good is awesome. Their korean fried chicken is good too. and they have pretty fast free wifi
Came to the eatery and what great value!!! The spicy seafood noodle soup and fish cake udon were super yummy and very reasonably priced. The meat in the sweet and sour pork was.on the small side, but at $10 who cares?! Lots of reasonably priced options for lunch or dinner, can't wait to try something different!!
Nice and clean specialty grocery store, good layout and easy to find what we were looking for. Friendly staff too.
Lovely staff, great quality foods. Never too busy.
My go to grocery, though it's a bit compact in space it has all my essential Asian foods at a fairly reasonable price. Again only 4 stars because it's really compact but other than space great overall selection of products.
Staff were excellent. Meat for grill is perfect, even their vegetables.
So thankful to get fantastic Korean food~!!
You can purchase korean snacks here
Went to get miso paste and ramen.. decent place.
Always stocked with quality veggies and fruits. Wide selections of groceries and Korean/imported processed foods/dishes. Their cooked foods are also fresh and tasty. They are discounted in the evenings.
One of my favorite place for Korean food
Amazing Korean grocery with fresh vegetables, fruit, and meat. They have a smaller selection of dried goods, ramen, noodles, snack, but excellent selection of foods for proper Korean meals. They have great weekly sales on seasonal vegetables and fruits. We find that the seasonal produce they bring in is always very fresh and tasty with a large variety. We have picked up cases of Campbell grapes, pears, clementines, napa cabbage, korean radish, garlic and sweet potatoes for great prices. They also have foods that are harder to find like perilla leaves, fresh ginseng, bellflower root, and stone crop. Worth a stop for any true foodies!
