We went there the other day after having some coffee across the street . Upon arriving we were greeted by a friendly young fellow . All the staff seemed friendly and engaged . Nice size to shop in ..Good job !

Great, friendly owner. Helpful staff, and absolutely delicious vegetables! Only thing I would stay away from are the pre-packaged cherry tomatoes. For the last few times they have had some sort of hairy mold develop on them.

Local grocer with lots of great Island sourced produce. Bond Bond bread, awesome ready-bake meat pies, Cold Comfort ice cream bars, and very fresh fruit and veggies. When they first opened they had my favorite cheese 'Le Chevre Noir' but I haven't seen it since. Time to ask them to bring it in again.

We had heard good things about the produce this place sells and although it isn't in the neighbourhood we made the trek into the wilds of Oak Bay to see. It did not disappoint: all kinds of local produce at pretty good prices, plus a good selection of locally-baked breads and a well-stocked deli case of prepared foods. Well worth the trip.

As someone who has gone to Red Barn since they only had their West Saanich location, I am pleased to find that Old Farm Market has the charm, prices, quality, and care that Red Barn used to have. On top of that they have better sandwiches. Like the kind Red Barn had 10 years ago but with more veggie/sauce/meat options! Their version of the seven layer dip (OFM is eleven layer!) is superior to Red Barn’s too. It’s not 90% bean. No one needs that much bean. And I love beans. I’m going to get another sandwich tomorrow.

My favorite neighbourhood food store!! I am so happy this awesome place have SOMETIME good prices for specific organic vegetables. For some weeks we were able to buy nice organic potatoes 5l. bags for little bit less than $3. During 2 weeks they sold avocados for close to $1.5 , or organic green chards for $1.5 of course that's is not always the case, but there's always some sales on organic vegetables!!! And when we ask for some special product they do not have, they always bring to the store what we suggest, like yogourt Olympic gluten free organic or some special cheese. The staff is always friendly and courteous
