Price tags missing, or incorrectly placed in produce sections. Loblaws makes so much money, there's no reason this store to be so poorly managed. The cashier tills are still running the old system from 15+ years ago and needs an upgrade.

I believe Indepent supermarket is the only one here in yellowknife so there is no other supermarket that you can campare it with. It serves its purpose to the people in yellowknife. The place is organize and a lot of choices. In terms of freshness of the meats, i would say not so much because first the location, secondly the time frame they deliver rhe products. Overall, it is a supermarket and you will still enjoy buying your grocery over there.

The thing I love about Glen's is I see him working there every time, apparently his wife works even harder there. This is a breath of fresh air compared to Trevor's since I hardly see him doing anything. The only real problem I have with this grocer is they often run out of stock on just about anything but the staff are great when it comes to helping you find what you're looking for and you can get a cheap meal to go, if you like chicken.
