I don’t usually take the time to write reviews however I feel I must after receiving the most beautiful flowers from Toronto Flower Co. Recently my father died and my friend called in at Toronto Flower Co to arrange for a bouquet to be sent to me. The staff there were so nice and helpful and very knowledgeable suggesting the best arrangement, taking into account my favourite flowers are yellow roses. I loved the bouquet I received from my friend she has no idea about flowers so was very grateful to this wonderful company.

Not impressed. Paid for a premium upgrade bouquet, delivery was $20. paid almost $120. Received an email at 3:50 pm that they were out for delivery... showed up at 9:00 pm. I contacted them today to discuss the matter and they just apologized and nothing else. They even disconnected their chat without telling me. Honestly, lots of flower delivery services offer free delivery and great selections. Avoid my mistake... order from somewhere else.

The problem with this company is that when you place a order on their website, you see the flowers being published so amazing and good looking "The Wauw! Feeling". Unfortunately, when it's delivered to door, it looks so cheap and standard. You guys are liars when it comes to delivering what the customer is actually ordered on the website as pictured. Never will order again from Flower Co. and will make a dispute on Paypal for a full refund.

Overall great service, though some follow up calls were needed! I was able to get a special order of Lily of the Valley (out of season). When I had to change the delivery location last minute, they were very kind and able to accommodate it accordingly without hassel. The flowers arrived as described, and were in good condition! This was the most horrible experience ever!!! I very rarely write a negative review and I wish I didn't even have to give a one star. The flowers were suppose to be delivered on mother's day, after a few times chatting I was reassured that that it would be. I made my mom wait up until 10:45pm and nothing was delivered. I couldn't even keep it a surprise because they were delayed in the delivery. It was delivered the next morning at 7am and as you can tell from the pictures the flower were wilted and 2 were broken. 1 was missing. I was utterly disappointed and embarrassed that this is what my mother received. Given Covid I couldn't visit visit my mom and wanted to surprise her with something beautiful and this is what they sent! It is so upsetting given the amount of money that was spent.

I had ordered the Deep Devotion bouquet to be delivered on 3rd January, after ascertaining the kind of roses that would be sent as well as the dimensions of the teddy bear that was part of the arrangement. The bouquet arrived on the correct day, but there was no teddy bear. The next day I called the owner and he professed surprise at the omission but assured me it would be delivered the very same day. To date, he has not kept his promise. Nor am I able to speak to him, as my call is immediately sent to the answering machine. The message I left has been ignored. I am very disappointed with this, as I had believed the positive reviews. I would definitely advise anyone thinking of ordering through this company, to avoid doing so.

My niece called to say thank you so much for the awesome flower arrangement she received on her birthday. She had never had flowers sent to her before and just loved the red roses and white carnations. I sent her the sweetheart bouquet which the whole family loved. They have a good customer service. Earlier I gave them bad review but soon the manager got in touch with me and was courteous. They have been kind enough to re send the flowers on an occasion soon. This shows their effort towards regaining a lost customer- A mark of a good business. I would recommend this place. Ordered an orchid for my partner on the Monday before Mother's Day, which ended up costing a little over $150. That same evening an emergency came up which meant I could no longer afford to spend that money, so I sent them an email to cancel the order. To be absolutely sure the cancellation went through, I called the next morning to confirm the cancellation - still several days before Mother's Day. I was told that there would be an admin fee of approx $15 (which seemed excessive but whatever), but that the order would be cancelled and I would be refunded. On the Friday, what should arrive but the orchid I had cancelled several days beforehand not just once but *twice*. In the week following, I have sent them 5 emails, left voicemail messages, called them countless times (they never answer), and have received no response whatsoever. Not even an acknowledgement that they have received any of my messages. I also have not received the refund that I DESPERATELY need. Avoid this company like the plague. EDIT: It gets better (by which I mean much worse)! So after numerous calls and emails, they finally emailed me saying they would process my refund (again) minus an admin fee (admin? What admin?). They then called me to offer me a 50% refund instead, along with some 'free' flowers (only they wouldn't really be free if they had cost me half of my refund), also asking me if I could please change this review to make it more favourable (sorry, what?). I refused and said I wanted the full refund that I had already been promised, and said they were welcome to collect the orchid - which I'd told them repeatedly I didn't want - at their convenience. A couple of weeks pass and still no refund. I send them an email to say that if I don't receive the refund I will be raising it with Visa. I get an apologetic email back saying that they will process my refund immediately and that I should be receiving the money back in 5 days. 5 days pass, then 10... you guessed it, no refund. Fed up with waiting and sending emails to the black hole that is their 'customer service' address I raised it with Visa as I said I would - they can have the fun of dealing with these clowns instead. I actually called the credit card company the other day as it had been about six weeks since I raised the claim. They informed me that Toronto Flowers had (surprise surprise) not bothered responding to them yet. Honestly, their level of incompetence is mind boggling.

Update - TFC immediately followed up on my issue and explained that it was a temporary issue with a service provider, they then proceeded to resolve the issue. Very happy with their level of service, and the flowers were absolutely gorgeous.

As of 10pm last night my order still hadn't been delivered. The order was placed in advance of the cut-off that they had advertised on social media - although their website still says they're accepting orders for Valentine's Day. Live chat hasn't been helpful - in fact the alleged 24/7 support is no longer available. If delivery wasn't going to be possible I should have been notified during one of my multiple follow ups. From what I've seen on other platforms, many people have experienced similar issues. I will be pursuing a refund and filing a compliant with the BBB.

UPDATE: I contacted their customer support on Friday and the last thing they said to me was the flowers looked dehydrated and implied that it was my fault even though I provided pictures and videos of how the flowers looked the moment I received them as well as them being in a vase of water. I would not recommend ordering from them if you are ordering internationally. I received a bouquet from another flower store which lasted a week where as these barely lasted a day I received a bouquet of flowers on June 2nd and was disappointed with the quality of flowers. They were ordered by family internationally for my graduation. Some of the flowers were wilting, the roses were discoloured and slightly yellow and all the sunflowers but one had no petals. I followed the instructions on the card to help revive the flowers. Today is the 3rd day and the flowers are dried up.

Paid $60 for a dozen roses at 8:30am on Valentine's Day, along with another $45 in tacked on service charges for same-day delivery. In spite of this, the flowers did not arrive until 10PM that evening, well past any reasonable delivery time for such exorbitant service charges. When asked for a partial refund, I was told no. Don't give these jokers your money. Just go to a local flower shop in person and save yourself the headache.

This florist is underestimated and a true gem in Toronto! The staff are very friendly, hands-on and very experienced in helping you complete your personal flower choice. I have ordered many bouquets from Flower Co and have been very pleased each time with the unusual personal touch provided with each bouquet. Recently I ordered 2 corsages and I have to say the detail was amazing. The person on the phone was an absolute pleasure to talk to, right down to the detail of the exact shade of the debutantes dress colour. All debutants were very pleased and to the credit of Flower Co, their own corsage lasted the whole night long without a petal out of place!! If it is value for money you are looking for look no further - I would highly recommend this florist to anybody expecting a touch of class!!

Edit: I'm placing my edit at the top because it's worth seeing first. Someone from Flower Co. showed up at my house today and gave me a bouquet of roses and offered me the most sincerest of apologies ever. I live very far from where the company is located and for them to drive all the way, the better part of an hour considering when they got to my house, and apologize for the blunder that occurred at their company is truly amazing out of them. I work in the transportation industry myself so I understand the pains of using a contracted service during busy seasons and so I really appreciate the effort they went through. I've edited my review from a 1 to a 4 because I have still requested a refund multiple times from them but as it stands right now, my girlfriend and her family are ecstatic to have received flowers for their New Year's celebrations and I'm grateful for the effort that was placed into making amends. Original Review: I'm sure the other reviews have had good experiences on lower volume days but be careful ordering on Valentines day. I ordered flowers on February 2nd, anticipating the heavy orders that would be coming in, and was given a choice on when my flowers would arrive, the deadline being 4:30. It's currently 5:30 and my girlfriend's left the office and I'm 80 bucks out. Given how long it's been taking for customer support to get in touch with me, I'm starting to sincerely doubt I'll even get that refund.

I ordered flowers for same day delivery on Valentine's day, which is obviously a busy day for florists. I paid a premium for Valentine's day delivery and same day delivery with the expectation that it would arrive later that day; however, the flowers did not arrive until mid afternoon the next day, without any calls or emails from Toronto Flower Company. I tried to call them but the no one answered the phone and their answering machine was full. I also sent several emails to their customer support email address, but so far none of them have been answered a week after the fact. I am leaving a two star rating because the flowers I received were exactly as described. I usually don't go out of my way to write bad reviews, but because I was ghosted by this company I hope this will at least get someone's attention. I'm sure that since their phone inbox is full, I'm probably not the only one having issues with their delivery. To top it off, I also didn't receive the promotional discount email with a coupon code for free delivery and paid the full delivery price ($20).

Spoke with Maria last evening from customer support and was told the flowers will be delivered soon, they are running a little behind time. It’s now 1pm the next day and still no flowers. My sister has asked for a refund and no one has responded. Mother’s Day is a one day event. If you couldn’t support all the orders you were getting, you should have had a cut off period. You guys are greedy in my opinion. I’ll bet there are more people you guys disappointed yesterday and ruin the plans. Shame on you.

Unreliable, stressful and disappointing experience I just had with this company. I was so excited ordering their Full of Love Bouquet more than a week before the Mother's Day. Little did I know it will cause me stress and disappointment for me and my wife. I followed up through email early in the morning as to the time of delivery, they could not answer, I followed up at noon time through chat twice, again no definite time was given. I called again at night time, still no definite time. Then it arrived at 10:30pm while the recipient is already fast asleep. And boy, the deviation from the sample online to what was delivered was glaring and concerning. Not really worth the money and stress. Stay away and do you business elsewhere.

Best company out there. Ordered this at 11 AM and it was delivered by 4 PM on the same day! The flowers were exceptional and top notch quality. Ordered flowers for mothers day. I looked online and chose what seemed like a beautiful arrangement and the specific flowers it had were great for whom I was sending it to. It was a busy day which is understandable because I had called back to ask something but had not heard back. Ok, fine. When my relative received her flowers they didn't even look close to what I had ordered. Paid 80 dollars for it and delivery and I feel cheated. I even sent an email explaining my experience and not a single person got back to me. This is the first time I ordered something and it's not the same. Even the colours and arrangements of type of flowers were not the same. Person on the phone initially was friendly though. That's why I gave it 2 stars. Update : still no response 3 months later from them. They shouldn't be in the business. I could've bought a better arrangement from WalMart.

It was the day before Valentine's day. Been searching for a florist to place an order & most of the places have stopped accepting deliveries on 14th due to a large number of orders they've received. So I came across Flower Co & placed the order, I was little worried at the inception & sent a message to their FB page to get an update on the delivery. They were super fast & very professional the way that the inquiry was handled. Flowers were fresh & my fiancee liked the whole arrangement. Also, the person who came to deliver was supportive. 3rd day and they are all wilted and some dead. Came super quickly, that’s sadly the only positive. We ordered fuller, but it’s not very full unless you count the 12 wrong colored leaf stems they added, which adds to an illusion of fullness. They are missing a species of flower I was looking forward to that was depicted on the website photo and list. The 12 leaf stems are a very dark plum purple, these leaves were not on the photo and the dark colour throws off the light bright colour scheme. If you’re going to add leaf stems please follow the colour scheme in general or at least the photo, sad to be disappointed. Oh and no plant food included!

I finally got a hold of someone on the 15th and told them to cancel the order and they stated that as per their policy I should receive the order and a partial credit, I told him I didn't want it now, they stated "well they're still flowers" to which I responded "for an occasion, which was yesterday" then told me they would cancel it and I should get a refund. Later that day I got an email notification stating that my order was out for delivery, so I called back and was told not to worry about it. 3 mins after that conversation someone showed up with flowers. I called back and they said I would get a refund none the less. The people I spoke to on the phone were disinterested and sounded insincere. I received a refund, they did try to state as per their policy only a partial credit would be applied, but I kept the PayPal dispute open and got the full amount. I won't be ordering from here again. ** Big let down for Vday. They have all of the contact information but no one contacted us, we sent multiple chat requests and then all of a sudden it was "offline" and we send emails and tried calling multiple time. Flower Company is the loveliest Florists in Toronto! My partner got me the most beautiful bouquet I’ve ever got off from Flower company when he proposed me. He told me how the staff are so lovely and encouraging him. We really enjoyed Long lasting flowers, all the buds of lilies beautifully bloomed after few days, they were all different colours and smelled amazing! I visited there last week for getting a bouquet for my parents in law’s wedding anniversary. Staff were so kind and friendly. They made me such a beautiful bouquet with mix of autumn flowers and leaves. I also loved the occasional card they kindly attached with. I gave 3 stars because I ordered the flowers in the morning and they delivered the same day and the tracking feature. I ordered the flowers around 9:40am and the tracking said arrival will be 6-8pm. So my wife received them exactly 8pm. But I am not happy with the flowers. It wasn't the product I ordered. It wasn't close enough to look like the one in the website. Check out the pictures. My wife was happy though because of my intention. But next time I will stick with buying from the grocery store where I can see the products itself. Don't buy their greeting card. BEWARE WHEN ORDERING FROM ABROAD. Bought flowers for a friend based in Toronto, thinking I'd be charged 36 english pounds. 52 was taken from my bank account. (A difference of 27 Canadian dollars when converted) Apparently when foreign purchases are made, they convert the payment to usd from Canadian dollars at a 1:1 ratio. So I was buying off their website at canadian dollar prices but they were charging me with us dollars. I.e. 20 canadian dollars on their website will cost you 20 usd. It's in their terms and conditions apparently. Who would possibly think that was even a thing!?!?!? No one would check the ts and cs for such a thing because you wouldnt think a company would have the brass neck to do that. It's like saying 'heyyyy our terms and conditions say we only deliver in October. You should have checked them before you ordered for july'. No one would check something so ridiculous. Scam.

As a small business owner myself, I am never one to write negative reviews on another business, especially at the moment, but this was by far the most inept and completely incompetent florist I have ever ordered from. I have ordered flowers all over the world and never experience so much fraudulent, misleading and deeply disorganised operation. Firstly, it should be noted that the positive reviews of this business I am confident are fake. With companies being able to pay for positive reviews, these are clearly not real customers with real reviews. I echo the sentiments of the recent reviews reflecting a substandard and frankly illegal way to operate. Secondly, I ordered the first time with this company weeks in advance for our anniversary a month ago, they were so disorganised the order didn't send the order until 6pm expecting it to arrive at 9pm... it never arrived. They called asking if we received it? Weird. Instead of a refund, they only offered a store credit or to send the next day. It was sent the next day but was put in a substandard pot and not as pictured. I got the credit and wrote it off as hopefully a once off poor experience and gave Luis the benefit of the doubt. The flowers looked half fresh, half old... which I think they are sourcing old flowers from supermarkets or suppliers that are discounted and maybe repurposing into bouquets? No idea. Thirdly, for Valentines Day, I ordered 2 weeks in advance spending well over $100 on just one bunch of flowers, I was assured that there will be no errors this time and things will arrive in the morning. Come lunchtime, no email, no message, no call. I followed up on their "24/7 customer service chat". They had no idea what was going on and assured that it was on its way, gave a tracking link, that just showed it was "Pending" 3pm, I am on a cute Valentines date, hoping to be there to experience her joy when the flowers arrive. Still nothing. I lined up to chat again because no one was answering their phone. The chat said that the flowers are on their way and they have called the driver. Amazing. The link they previously sent for tracking was no longer working and it showed the order never existed. I began to get worried. 6pm, just before Valentines dinner... I am beginning to get discouraged because I was starting to think that they have lied again. I went onto google reviews to see the 1 stars flooding in due to the no shows and fraudulent promises. 10pm, after dinner, nothing. I begin investigating what has happened as it was promised to be in the car and on the way, the chat support became redundant, as soon as I asked for more info they went silent and never replied until I gave up. More 1 star reviews started flooding in. Midnight, I check the doorstep and still nothing. I went onto chat and they said "it may arrive tomorrow"... not good enough. The nail in the coffin for me was that their website was still advertising for valentines day deliveries AFTER valentines day was over. This goes to show that they never intended to honour their delivery schedule or promises. They are a poorly run, inept company that doesn't seem to have any clue on how to navigate the industry or any form of customer service resolution, other than "we will try sending it again tomorrow with an upgrade". The problem here is that if you're looking to have a special day be special because of flowers, a day late is a day too late. I am now pursuing a refund, which they insist is not part of their policy. They insist they delivered the next day, but have no records or photos of it. Nor did I agree to next day delivery. I will be reporting them to authorities because businesses like this shouldn't been making promises they can't keep. My gut is that their "24/7 support" is outsourced and this is an owner operator that is way out of their depth. The support is not 24/7, it turns off at midnight or when the outsourcing company is sick of complaints. Honestly, avoid at all costs, unless you like a gamble. I will not be going back and will be reporting them to local authorities.

Flower Co did a great job for our June wedding. The sales rep we dealt with was really knowledgeable and made some great suggestions to decorate the venue we’d chosen, without at all being pushy. She and her team decorated the venue perfectly with pedestals, centrepieces, flower stands and tumbling ivy. They made venue-decorating quite stress-free!! Most of all, Flower Co managed to source some really exotic flowers we had requested - Singapore orchids. Our guests all commented on the stunning flowers. I had read amazing reviews about this company and used them for Mother’s Day. Big mistake. I placed the order a week in advance to be delivered, got a bunch of Mother’s Day specials for various family members and had them scheduled to be delivered on Mother’s Day. It’s now 4:40 PM and I haven’t received them. Their phone numbers are re-routed to a Spanish call centre and the other is never answered so I emailed. I asked when I could expect the delivery and they said “sometime after noon”. I replied more specifically asking for a time frame and they said they can’t offer that kind of information. What kind of delivery service can’t track their drivers or know when the cut off time for deliveries are?? Waste of my time, money and efforts. Never EVER using this company or referring them again. I know it’s busy this time of year, I get that, but to not even be able to give me a window of time or a “the latest you’ll receive them...”, that’s ridiculous

A very poor experience! I ordered a bouquet for Mother's Day and paid extra to have up-sized. The flowers arrived already wilting with brown edges and the bouquet was quite small, despite paying to have it supersized. My subsequent customer service experience was even worse. I sent a picture to Luis along with my order number. He responded with, "the picture on the website looks very similar to the arrangement that you received... spray the roses with water at least twice a day and they will live longer." The fact that the bouquet looks the same as their picture is my issue. I paid to have it made larger. Spritzing them regularly hardly addresses that they were already browning when they arrived. I recommending that flower purchasers avoid these bad business practices and use one of their many competitors.

Valentine's Day flowers that never came! I called a dozen times yesterday and was told that the flowers were 'on the way'. Waited until midnight as well. Nothing. No call no text no flowers. It's now 5pm on Feb 15th and still nothing. The customer service line keeps lying saying that they're coming. Caused me to worry all day and an argument with my long-distance partner. Awful experience. Just found out that they also delivered my birthday flowers which came last year at nearly midnight and they just left them in the snow to die outside without informing me. The quality is horrible and the customer service did nothing to retain me as a customer. We, my husband and I, paid 121$ for upgraded balloons, bear, and “add on flowers”. We only received 6 balloons, a 6 inch bear and no flowers. The balloon was weighted down by a soggy and wet flower sponge too. After spending 30+ minutes with customer service (originally claiming I didn’t order flowers but it is on my invoice) they apologized for their error and only offered to refund the flowers. I say “only” as they clearly messed up the entire order and won’t take responsibility for it.

Edited to add: I actually contacted the shop via email as in the owners response. Still fail to get a reply, please note that the owner response is likely just to give the pretense they care to future customers. Do not buy into it. Received flowers from this place as a present and while I loved the sentimentality of the gift and that I was being thought of, I was disappointed with the flowers. I received a bouquet of roses in a vase, and many of the roses were already wilting. They were browning rapidly on all sides. Mind you I received these before 12pm so I'm not sure how long they were waiting to be transported. The flowers came in a vase so I wouldn't have to put them myself into one. The leaves were already drooping and the flowers were not evenly placed. It makes me feel like an amateur did this. For the price, this was utterly disappointing. I would just steer clear of this place if you're looking for a place to get flowers. Please spend your money else where.

I was told they were not in season and got a call 40 minutes later to be told Flower Co. has sourced the Peonies from overseas with one of there suppliers. I was the person who received a floral arrangement from Toronto Flower Co. Firstly, the delivery did not arrive by 4:30PM as their site states. Secondly, flowers were not fresh AT ALL. Thirdly, horrible customer service as they don't respond. When I recieved my arrangement, some florals were dry already, some roses broken and the water looked days old. It's a big disappointment! After 24 hours the arrangement was good for nothing. To top it off no one cares to respond to you. Definitely, 110% would not recommend this place!

The recipient of my order ended up not going to work on the day of delivery and they re-routed to her home (quite a distance away) 3 hours after I got notification that the flowers were being prepared. I had no expectation that they should do this, but it was seamless. Highly recommended.

Absolutely atrocious customer service and support. Spent nearly $200.00 to have flowers delivered to my girlfriends business yesterday and the driver contacted her to tell her that they simply would not be delivered! If your company decides to outsource to contractors then that is your obligation to ensure that those contractors perform their job. When I attempt to follow up with the company through their live chat support system I consistently sit in queue before the chat is closed without anyone speaking to me. Furthermore, I tried contacting them by email, which has gone unreturned AND I tried calling them, but there voicemail is full, so I cannot leave a message. This company has absolutely no accountability. Do I have to take time out of my day and drive directly to the warehouse to have my issue resolved? Please, do not use this company for flowers. Just awful. Edit: To their credit, the Flower Co. did eventually refund my order in full. However, it took me several hours to connect with a customer service representative over the online system (I tried calling the company directly several times, but each time was forwarded to a voicemail that was full). The representative I spoke with, at first only offered to refund me half of the price, directing me to their written policy on their website. However, as I made clear to the representative, as per their online requirements I attempted to call to verify delivery, however I received no response and I could not leave a voicemail as it was full. Since I made reasonable efforts to follow their guidelines, I informed the representative that they were required to refund me in full, or, alternatively I could contact VISA and have the payment charged back since I had not (two days later) received anything from the company. I understand the frustration associated with contracting out work, however, it bothers me that the Flower Co. remains reluctant to acknowledge their own failures, and would rather pass the blame onto the individuals that they contracted out. As soon as a problem was realized, the company should have sent out an email alerting customers of the issue, apologized, and issued a full refund. The Flower Co. was then entitled to pursue economic damages for breach of contract from their contractors who did not fulfill their obligations.

This place deserves 0 stars. I ordered overpriced roses for my wife for Valentine's Day, which never showed up. When we tried contacting them, their voicemail was full, and emails were bouncing back. When we finally got through to them via phone call, they promised a full refund. It has been about a week, and I have only received half the amount paid. I am currently trying to get the full amount back. Absolutely despicable.

Ordered flowers, came late and wilted. Sent email, no reply. Called store, was asked if credit or replacement would be acceptable I said no. Was offered full refund in 3-5 days. 2 weeks later on the phone again, with different employee, says no refund is available said they emailed me to tell me that this was never possible. Never received that email... Employee goes onto say the delivery was within their terms of service, the latest their service listed delivery was 7pm, my order was completed at 10pm wilted from the cold, what was the delivery fee for? I would have said forget it if they had told me the order would arrive dead and wake up the whole house. Store credit doesn't mean anything when your store won't fulfill it within your own service hours. Even email replies come weeks late at a time. Would avoid in favor of Floweriest who fulfills order and doesn't lie. Didn't think to ask for names of who I was speaking with, if you disregard what I've written get everything in writing and still choose to deal with this company I would recommend asking for all issued promises in an email (good luck with getting that in the same month though!)

I wish there was an option for ZERO stars. I sent my mother flowers from this company that were ordered two weeks before Mother’s Day. I phoned in the afternoon to see when they would be delivered and was told around 6PM. At 6PM there was no delivery. Called again only to be told they couldn’t give me a time for delivery or an estimate and had no idea when she would receive them. So disappointing as it’s after 8PM on Mother’s Day and still no delivery for her. Order from somewhere local that can guarantee your order arrives at a decent time on Mother’s Day. Still no flowers at 9PM, can’t tell me anything about where the delivery truck is or when they will get there. UPDATE: 10:30pm and STILL NO DELIVERY UPDATE: order was delivered.. TO THE WRONG HOUSE at 11PM. So much for flowers for my mom on Mother’s Day. Never received flowers at all. ****WARNING DO NOT EVER WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY ****

We placed an order for International Women's Day (March 8th). It is now March 10th and it is nowhere to be found. We have tried reaching out multiple times, and operators promised to prioritize the order and send it out first thing in the morning. Nothing was actually done. I have asked for a refund and can't even imagine, how long will that take. Not once we got a call or email about the delay or to confirm the delivery. They just never showed up! Avoid at all costs if you don't want to ruin such a beautiful experience as sending someone flowers. Extremely disappointed, I've never had this bad service with other floral shops. *a reply to your comment below: Neither the recipient, not the sender got a call or email once you realized that address was incomplete. You decided to simply ignore the order. When we contacted you about the order ourselves, the operator assured us that the order is going to be delivered next day IN THE MORNING. We did not get the order next day and reached our again at 8pm, at which point they said the the driver is leaving with the order. I am not going to wait till midnight for flowers that were suppose to be delivered in the morning. And now, after we asked for a refund you are saying that we will get the order?! Good luck.

Knowing that she loved orchids, I set out to order that for her as a keepsake. After browsing through many websites and being disappointed by the many not so lovey containers most featured, I then viewed the Toronto Flower Co.’s offering and was impressed. I ordered the White Double Spike Orchid Planter. It was lovely as shown, but I opted to go for the Premium choice. I decided to call the shop to assure myself that the planter would indeed be really lovely. I spoke with Jenny. This wonderful lady was so very professional, kind and immensely reassuring that the planter would not only be beautiful, but would also be delivered on time. The planter they delivered was truly outstanding, exceeding my expectations and thrilling my sister-in-law. This is the first time reviewing anything online, but I felt compelled to do so because of the outstanding experience that Jenny and the Toronto Flower Co provided me with. Thank you!

I ordered the mixed colour rose bouquet for delivery on February 17th. They arrived shortly after 7:00 pm, packaged very nicely in a clear vase. Unfortunately, most of the roses in the bouquet were not fresh. I contacted them via e-mail and they offered to re-deliver on another day. They arrived and were in much better shape the second time. I also placed another order (one dozen red roses) for a friend, and they were happy with what they received.

There are so many florists in Toronto that have beautiful flowers, amazing employees and great customer service. This company doesn't have that, nor does it have integrity. This is not an isolated story, based on others commiserating on other social platforms. It is Valentines Day. The flowers ordered were never delivered. We inquired to customer service a few times at intervals after 6pm and they assured flowers were still coming though could not provide an ETA. The flowers were never delivered. Toronto Flower Co marketed their Valentines deliveries and took orders put to midnight the night before. Our flowers were ordered more than a week in advance and was still not fulfilled. Valentines Day bouquets need to be delivered on valentines day, and early in the day. And when it's 10pm and still no flowers its time to admit you made a mistake and refund your clients. stop saying sorry of the inconvenience. start saying, you made a mistake and you're going to be accountable.

SCAM ALERT !!! Quality is terrible and prices are exhorbarnly high. These guys are not legitimate florists, only some sketchy internet company looking to make a quick buck. Do yourself a favor and order from any reputable florist to save money and get much better quality. Also, the customer service (Luis Corredor) is exclusively located overseas, so good luck if you reach out to them. You will be left stranded with a useless generic response back.

Terrible Experience! I wasn't at home to receive the Valentine's Day Flowers that were sent to me, so the gentlemen from Flower Co who called me told me he would come back between 4 and 7 that same evening (the 14th). However, the flowers were never delivered. I tried to call back a couple of times and each time spoke to the same gentlemen who ensured me that the flowers would absolutely get delivered that evening. By 930 the flowers were not delivered and the gentlemen stopped answering his phone. So the Valentine's Day Flowers were not delivered in time. My boyfriend called the following day, and the company again assured him they would be delivered on the 15th between 4 and 7 pm. Once again, the flowers were not delivered. I emailed the company and she ensured me at almost 9 pm they were still on their way. Turns out, the roses ended up getting delivered to my home at 10:45 PM on the 15th!!! What kind of a florist delivers flowers at 10:45 PM on a Friday night (not to mention they were already a day late for Valentine's Day!). All in all it was a terrible experience and we will not consider using this florist again.

Ordered a plant on April 28th for delivery on May 9th. Tracking information never updated beyond order confirmed. Sent an email to ask if I would receive confirmation of delivery and was told yes very quickly. When I wrote back to ask if they could confirm it was out for delivery, no response. Chatted again with someone else when I had no update after 8pm. I explained that my mum is in her 80's and would not be awake that late and it was unacceptable to me that they would leave it outside in near freezing temperatures. If they cannot fulfill their orders in a reasonable time frame, perhaps they need to limit the number of orders they will take, particularly for Mother's Day. The person on the other end of the chat left the conversation with no warning. It did eventually show up, but no card. Since I had to spoil the surprise and let my mum know to check her door, she at least knew who it was from. VERY disappointing experience

They charge an arm and a leg for their flowers and to deliver within a specific time window they charge a rush fee. They offer overpriced chocolates, teddy bear, balloons and cards. After all that, they forgot the Card upon delivery! Absolutely unacceptable!

Why am I getting to be asked to do a review almost 2 or 3 years later? Well all I remember is that the service is great and being far away from the person I wanted to send it to at the time, Toronto Flower Co. made that all possible. And at the time I really wanted to make that special person's day and they manage to deliver it to them as promised! The prices are good compared to most flower shops and the quality of them are so nice! I'm not even a big flower person but I can tell they put care into them, and they smelled wonderful once I saw them. So this is a really good company if you're looking for fowers for all types of occasions, would definitely be my first options for flowers for many years to come!

However, the address to deliver to is a mall and there's only one mall in GTA bearing that name. Besides, they called the recipient whom gave them the complete address. I had to pick up at a midway point and deliver myself.

I got the Graceful Grandeur Bouquet. Here's the TLDR: Two broken roses, didnt look that great, arrived very late. It arrived with two broken roses, with dried stems (which implies it happened ages ago, maybe even before it got on the truck). It also arrived around 9pm, with an outrageous shipping fee of 19$. More than almost all other florists. It also didnt look like the photograph on the website. It appears that they only have the "premium" version as an example, which is pretty disingenuous. The photo had a full looking arrangement, while the result we received was lots of green with a few roses studded throughout. Even if its not a premium version, that doesn't mean that it can't look nice. I believe that a skilled flower arranger would have been able to make it look beautiful even with the lesser amount of roses through proper use of composition. I got in touch with customer service. They wanted to send a new one and take back the old one.. I presume to sell to someone else? But the original didn't look that great anyway, so I didn't really want to have it replaced. Their next suggestion was taking the discounted price, dividing it by 12, and getting 6.5$ for the two broken roses. They were so kind as to round up to 10$. Lucky me! ...I guess At 3.25$ a rose that is pretty much wholesale prices, and their way of calculating how much to compensate seems very petty to me. I guess I should have believed the other reviews I saw here. EDIT: (For their reply). While the description does say 12 roses, that doesn't mean that a 12 rose bouquet should look as disappointing as this one did. There are very many beautiful 12 rose bouquets out there. While its nice to offer a replacement, I didn't want a replacement because the occasion was over by then, and the impact had already been made.

Then, they'll BLAME it on their delivery service / driver/ contractor. No customer service!! Absolutely the worst online shopping experience! No business ethics or care for their customers. I placed my order well in advance before the Valentine's day rush, flowers didn't get delivered until the next day! What's the point? Totally defeating the purpose of purchasing flowers for your loved one for a special day. To make things worst the flowers died!! :-( Stay AWAY!!! All reviews are true I definitely learned my lesson. I received a bouquet from them yesterday for my birthday and disappointment is an understatement. What they sent is an atrocity. I want to put them in the garbage becuase the flowers look absolutely dead as if they have been sitting out in a funeral home for weeks and then got spray painted to give it more life. I feel awful that the person who sent these to me actually had to pay $ for this monstrosity. One star is too high a rating for these people. I ordered a bouquet of a dozen roses for my gf on Valentine's with same day delivery, paid so many extra fees (came out to over $120) and the flowers did not get delivered that day. Needless to say surprise was ruined and I was in for a bunch of headache trying to contact support. First of all no one picks up the phone and the Live Chat guy only makes empty apologies and promises. I specifically asked them to not deliver over the weekend (Feb 14 was a friday) because my girlfriend was not going to be home until Monday and guess what I just recieved the confirmation that they got dropped off at 11pm on a Saturday, which means she will come home to be welcomed by a bunch of dead frozen flowers! I was asking for a refund instead but they assured me that they will deliver double on monday. This is totally unacceptable and I demand a full refund! Update: Flowers were never actually delivered due to carrier issue but on the upside I was able to reach them a few days later by phone, they are aware of the situation and marked me down for full refund.

I placed an order on Dec 15th at 2:03pm of the Ladybug Bouquet. I was told the flowers would be delivered between 4:30pm - 5:20pm when I talked to someone through chat but it was delivered around 8:10pm on december 16th. Everytime i called the store I was told it would be there in half an hour but an hour would go by and there was nothing until 8:10pm. Then, after seeing the bouquet it was horrifying. It looked absolutely nothing like the picture, the flowers were half dead, there were mostly leaves than flowers and there was water spilled everywhere. After LOTS of emailing back and forth with customer service they came to pick up the flowers and I got refunded (it only took 9 days to get a refund).

I love how they have an option to pick your own flowers and colours as my girlfriend would not like the one they already have arranged. I just picked purple colour with roses and lilies. The bouquet turned out to be beautiful. They added more flowers and filler to make it look better. My girlfriend loved it. I like how they also followed my delivery instructions to just leave it with the reception. Im a happy customer. Toronto Flower company is highly recommended. Im a happy customer.

I placed an order on the 11th and paid $18.99 extra for delivery on Valentine's Day. It is 9:42pm and I still haven't received the order. My wife went to bed waiting the entire day...but nothing came. I called the location a dozen times but no one answered. I spoke to customer support 4 times throughout the day via chat and they assured me I would be receiving the delivery any moment. 1pm, 3:30pm: 6:30pm, 8:30pm. But sadly...nothing. I am demanding a refund. But typical...no response. Don't order from this company...you still simply be disappointed. Flower company.ca To the response below, this is a complete lie as I do not have any emails from you Toronto Flower Co. I send your emails on the 14th twice, 15th twice. I have always trusted this company to do so because their delivery guys are very nice and take the time to walk up to my mother's door to deliver the flowers into her hands. I ordered flowers for mother's day 2 days ahead of time and they promised delivery by 4:30pm. At 2pm, I received an email that my flowers are out for delivery and I should receive them shortly. They delivered the flowers at 11:00pm!!!!!!!! My mom had already left Toronto by then and she was on her way to Montreal. Seriously what kind of a scam is that?? and when you call them they keep apologizing and asking you to send an email to their support when the person behind the email sounds like a robot and doesn't give me refund. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Such a poor and unprofessional customer service. I am reporting them to Canadian anti-fraud Centre and Competition Bureau to avoid other people falling into their trap. UPDATE: I got my refund.

I placed my order 2 weeks prior to Mother's Day and requested my order be delivered between 10:00am-1:30pm. I called Toronto Flower Company at 11:00am this morning to inquire if my order had already gone out as if it had not I would be more then happy to pick it up as I needed it by 1:30pm. The individual I spoke w/assured me that my order had already gone out on the delivery truck after she had "double checked". I called again after 1:00pm as my order had not arrived yet and spoke w/another individual who advised me that my order was still there and had NOT gone out for delivery yet however I was more then welcome to come and pick it up. I explained that the previous individual I spoke w/almost 2 hours ago assured me it had gone out for delivery already. She advised me that there wasn't anything she could do. At that point I advised her I needed to speak w/someone who would be able to assist me. I spoke w/"Jacky/Jackie" and explained the situation to her and she offered to refund me 50% of my order and put it out on the next delivery truck. I asked her what time my order would be delivered and she kept telling me she didn't know and she couldn't guarantee a time. I asked her if it would be before 5:00pm? 10:00pm? She once again reiterated that she would not guarantee a time and this is the best they could do at this point as they don't guarantee delivery times. I advised her 1) I placed my order 2 weeks ago if they were not able to fulfil my delivery time specified they should've advised me so that I could've made arrangements to pick them up or taken my business elsewhere and 2) When I called TWO hours prior if the individual didn't lie to me and advise me that my order was already on the delivery truck and out for delivery I could've picked up my order and we wouldn't be having this conversation right now. Well "Jacky/Jackie" didn't particularly like that I was right and abruptly advised me she was busy and had to go. When I asked her for the owners name so that I could contact them and file a complaint about their poor customer service she hung up the phone on me!!! In this day and age customer service does more than simply provide a means to drive sales. When a company has a commitment to customer service that is what raises the bar of competition. The only way a company can effectively accomplish this is through their employees. When a company is committed to customer service it is the driving force behind amazing results. Take notes Toronto Flower Company ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Also the flowers I received look nothing like what I ordered and you sent me dead flowers as well!!! If you want disgusting customer service and dead flowers this is the place for you!

I ordered flowers on the 7th to be delivered on valentines day. What happened instead is that you delivered the flowers on the 15th with no call from you or any warning...Why would you do that? Valentines day is the 14th. I paid good money to have them delivered for this special day. Own up. Why would you outsource? It is your fault and not your drivers. You should have been on top of every order. Instead you bit off more than you can chew. It is easy to pass the blame. Issue everyone a refund and swallow your pride.

I Wanted flowers for the funeral of a family member. Flower Co customer service was brilliant. I ordered online....so I wasn't expecting the personal touch of a phone call the evening before to reassure me that the flowers had been delivered to the funeral home. Zero stars. I placed two separate orders for flowers to be sent to a funeral home (one from my family and one on behalf of a group). The flowers from the group arrived but the first order from my family did not. I have followed up with both the family and the funeral home and they have confirmed that only one order was received. I spent $170 on each order and one did not get delivered. I have called the store several times and other than the first time when they answered and said they would get back to me, they will no longer answer or return my call, voicemail or emails. It is unfortunate while grieving to have to deal with the unprofessionalism of this establishment. I have requested a refund and it has now been over a week with no response. Do not order flowers from this place, they may never arrive and then they will deny it even when the family and funeral home have confirmed that the order was not received. IN RESPONSE: no such email has been received from you. I have checked my junk email as well. There have been no replies to my emails and I also have a confirmation from the funeral home that they only received one order and the family has shared that they only received one. I do not see why they would lie to me about this. Not sure where we go from here seeing as you won't call me back or respond to my emails but responded to this post with 10 minutes. I am absolutely appalled as I have patiently followed up on this for over a week with no reply until now. I hope you will find a way to rectify this otherwise I will have to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

If I could rate this place a negative rating - I would. Originally communication via email was fantastic but when it came to receiving my product, that was another story. I arranged my order for pickup and was in complete disbelief when I pulled up to the location - it was like walking into a sweat shop. The lady I ended up speaking to was very rude and even made me get order myself instead of simple just bringing it over. I had ordered these flowers for a wedding cake and I wouldn't even keep these flowers in my home. Some of them were not the shade we discussed, they were dry and full of brown blotches. You can tell these were not even close to being fresh. I was told the "large flowers" would be about 3" wide - half of them were barely even two inches. A simple quality check would of saved this order. I was left in shambles - running around the city because there was no way I could've used these on the cake. I changed the water and left the flowers in a vase overnight and the next morning, the condition was even worse! Clearly these flowers were old - I could've gotten better options from the grocery store. I reached out to rep I spoke to originally set up the order and all she could offer me was a store credit of 2/3 of my original purchase as if I would ever use their services again smh

My flowers were delivered LATE on Valentines Day. Ordered the day before, flowers didn't show up until 8:00 pm on Feb 14th. But I get that, it still got delivered on the actual day but the timing was garbage. BUT the flowers were not at all like they were advertised. They were dinky and half the size of the actual bouquet displayed online. Not only that, I emailed the company right after I purchased asking them to do a slight change to my note but they NEVER replied. It's now February 23 and still no response. Last but not least, I had text messages notifications for the delivery turned on, to let me know when the flowers got delivered. Anyway I got notified yesterday that the flowers got delivered LOL! So February 22, a week later I got a text saying "Your flowers have been delivered". What a joke, NEVER buying overpriced flowers from here again where they don't respond to emails, deliver flowers late in the day, and don't know how to operate their delivery operating system

Toronto Flower Co. does not even deserve a star. I ordered a " Arrive in Style Bouquet" for my Mothers birthday and received something completely different. The arrangement was awful - done with absolutely no taste -not to mention the customer service. I had requested the item be delivered before noon and when I realized the bouquet was not delivered I called only for them to tell me that they would not be able to deliver before 4PM. I was charged for delivery & had to send a courier to pick up the arrangement myself. I requested a refund which was denied. Their response was to review their terms and conditions and that they would be able to do a new arrangement for me end of day. Completely unprofessional and false advertising arrangements on their website. Do not order unless you want to waste your money - You are better off. First photo is what was requested - with light pink and white balloons. Second photo is what was received.

See update below: (Original Post) I ordered for a funeral. The flowers were 1.5 hours late for the viewing. The flowers were as described and very nice. They say guaranteed delivery for funerals but there's a lot of fine print. You apparently have to call to confirm delivery time - even though you select "funeral" on the order and give them the date and time. There's nothing on the order form at check that would give an indication otherwise. READ THE FINE PRINT. Update: I emailed the company about the issue and they were extremely quick to rectify the situation with a full credit for a future purchase. I received personal contact through email and phone calls to ensure satisfaction. They also said that the funeral time is in fact a guaranteed service. I would order again from them but would continue to call now that I know about delivery issues.

I ordered the Treasured Tribute Wreath and wow I couldn't believe what we received. This wreath was absolutely stunning! It looked exactly like the picture or even better. I was so impressed with the workmanship. On top of that the price is very competitive and I would say even better than most other flowershops. I would definitely recommend ordering this wreath for a funeral home. Their customer service was superb. I had called them after working hours the night before the funeral to deliver this wreath to the funeral home the following morning and they were able to do this with no hesitation or problems. I had even asked that the flowers arrive by a certain time and they were able to do that as well! During COVID, this is something I was not expecting, but they went above and beyond and made it all come together for me. I also emailed their customer service to confirm once more that all would be good the following day and I had someone respond to me that night that everything will be delivered on time. I ordered flowers from them and they were not delivered on the day they assured me it would be. Called to get a refund I was told to email them and I have emailed 3 times so far with no response or refund being processed despite the fact that they clearly know the flowers were never delivered to me. Take your business anywhere but here. Also the company claims now in response to my initial review seen above that they emailed me the same day which is false. I checked my email the earliest Email was sent on the 17th, then 20th then 28th I only got an email confirming my refund after I threatened to call the police. The emails sent before asked for an order number which had already been given to 2 employees and one of them confirmed with me that they sent the info to the support team and the fact that when the police were mentioned I got my refund within a couple hours without providing any of the information asked for says quite alot. Other companies in the past have issued refunds and also done something else to make up for the inconvenience but this place kept my money for 2 weeks and when threatened with the police return it with a quick email. They also claim they sent an email asking for confirmation of receipt of that email and got no reply which would mean it wasn't received. As far as I am aware any business place with even a medium level of professionalism after sending an email like that with no response would then call the client especially since they have their number on file. Never again. No good word of mouth advertising will be coming from me about this company ever again.

Had I known that they would not be delivered until 7:30pm I would have gone elsewhere or hand delivered them myself. Definitely not the level of service I would have expected or would have paid for. They were amazing and I cant recommend them enough. Took the time to go over our vision, my bouquet was exactly like the inspo photo I showed them. Flowers were fresh and beautiful. Arrived on time and everything went smoothly. They even included an extra boutonnière for the groom to have a fresh one later in the day. Flower Co is my go-to for arrangements to surprise friends! As a returning customer, I can confirm that the whole experience is consistently excellent - from ordering online (a legit website unlike most flower companies on Bloomex), to calling in for customer service, to the live delivery tracking. They also have the best prices I’ve been able to find in all of GTA. The flowers have always shown up on time (even with same-day orders) and are very fresh. They have successfully brought joy to the recipients as you can tell from some of the photos I received :) I will continue on being a loyal customer!

Thank you Toronto Flower Company for making it RIGHT. Last week I posted a pic of the flowers my mom ordered for my birthday on Facebook. It was hard to get a nice pic because many of the rainbow roses had petals that were dried. After 48h I had to throw 5 of the 12 roses out as they wee dead. Next morning another 1. I reached out and mentioned this. I sent some photos to prove. And they agreed the quality was not good. So just now I got the replacement order. And they are beyond spectacular and got 8 rainbow roses this time. ????????????

I would particularly like to give credit to Luis who was absolutely incredible throughout the whole process. He communicated with me very regularly, providing updates, suggestions, and making sure the flowers met my expectations. Although there was a hiccup in the delivery of the flowers, Luis was incredibly responsive, calm, and rectified the situation as soon as he could. Horrible experience! Ordered upgraded flowers, chocolates, teddy bear and a card. Received the "regular flowers" and card. Called left a message never heard back from anyone. They ripped me off for about $85. Mistakes can be made but at least call your client back with info, a refund or deliver the goods. Not cool and wont use this company again. Original review was a 1 star however i changed it to 3. The manager gave me a generous refund which was nice and has consistently tried to make good on a bad experience. That said the front line staff should be more customer friendly and trained as the person i spoke to was rude and not very helpful. I appreciate the effort in trying to make this better however the day was spoiled and other than the managers efforts the rest of the staff needs more training on how to speak to customers

Everything went as expected and more! Despite the circumstances I had my engagement party with a few family members and we wanted to decorate with flowers. I had purchased some arrangements here before and they were beautiful so I ordered several arrangements with white and pink roses just as I imagined them and your designers were very kind and responsive. My daughter ordered flowers for Mother's Day from the branch on 100 Brydon Dr. E. The bouquet was pathetic...lots of black & brown leaves with some holes and seemed to be eaten by bugs! Some of the petals on the peonies were brown. The only peony that smells like it should was the white one, the others (peachy coloured) smell really terrible. When my daughter called to complain, they did not seem concerned about it...just said that the buds (3) would open up in a couple of days. It was just not worth the cost of the bouquet. I would not recommend ordering flowers from this place.

So I ordered some flowers for Valentine’s Day for my fiancée and I was very disappointed in what she received today. I sent them a couple days early to beat the rush and not having them delivered on Valentine’s Day. I paid $121.98 with delivery for these flowers and what I got is not what was on the website. As you can see in the photos the size and the flowers that I got is not what is depicted in there photos. They call this arrangement My Heart To Yours Rose Bouquet. I looked at there size guiding on there website and what pops up is sizing for clothing. If you were interested in ordering this please don’t unless you are looking to waste your money. I suggest you look elsewhere to avoid the disappointment.

What a joke. Toronto Flower Company (Toronto is in Canada) once the purchase was complete - is when you are told the amount is in USD. The Florist Designed Bouquet is what was ordered - and the "fuller" option was selected. The ridiculously small bouquet for 70 USD (approx 85.00 Canadian) was a rip off. I purchase flowers weekly for the house, and thought this may be a wonderful option for diversity and creative bouquets. I would rather purchase from a grocery store if this is what you get from here. Very disappointing.

My husband tried to send me a flowers last sunday for our anniversary they charged sunday delivery, same day delivery also extra another delivery charge which is $19. They should have deliver to store which is located in shopping mall and he made very clean explanation about location name and everything. They failed to deliver on Sunday. No body called my husband or me. When I gave them a call they said it has been delivered to the front desk in the mall and they blamed me. I would rate less than 1 star. I ordered flowers for Valentine's Day and delivery was supposed to be made before 4pm. The flowers weren't delivered as promised on the 14th so I followed up on the 15th and was assured they would be delivered by 7pm. Again, the flowers were not delivered. I wrote in to their customer support after hours to inquire about the delivery and received a flippant response. The reply only indicated that the flowers "should be there soon." It's almost 10pm on the 15th and still no delivery or clarity around when/if the flowers will ever be delivered.

Ordered flowers for Valentine’s Day, and they did not arrive until 9:45pm. Everyone loves to wow their partners with flowers before bedtime, right? Delivery person made no effort to contact me (they had my phone number), and just left the flowers in the public entrance area of my building. Security/concierge was a few feet away from them, separated by glass, but I suppose when you don’t care it might as well have been the Himalayas. Flowers themselves didn’t wow either as the outer part of the petals on some roses had already begun to wilt. I wish I could give 0 stars, but instead me and my girlfriend have both decided to write a 1-star review. I hope I can get a refund as the flowers and the service falls far below the price.

We were supposed to have flowers delivered today for Valentines Day and they did not arrive until 9:45pm. The person who delivered them left them inside the public front door of our condo building and sent us a text that they were there and then the person just left them there unattended. They did not even bring them in to our concierge or security guard. They did not even wait for us to come down, just left them at the public door where literally anyone could have taken them. The flowers were not fresh cut or in good condition. I would never use this company again and would not recommend it to anyone.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! You would think that during these tough times a business like this (knowing we are all experiencing a recession) would appreciate it's customers and do better. My first mistake was not reading these recent reviews (looks like quality of flowers and service have gone downhill). I ordered flowers for my Aunt's 75th birthday. They did not arrive until almost 10pm!!!! I emailed in the evening, no response. Instead someone called her and told her they were coming (ruining the surprise) and making her wait another 5 hours for the flowers to come. By 9:30 pm still no flowers so I emailed again saying I wanted a refund as she lives alone and would be going to sleep. No acknowledgement of my request for a refund, instead a complete deflection and avoidance with excuses of what had occurred on their end. I emailed again and Luis offered me free delivery for my next purchase instead of honouring the refund I had asked for prior to the flowers being delivered. We are fortunate to live in Toronto, a place where we can choose from many other flower companies that actually provide free delivery and quality flowers, while caring about keeping their customers satisfied and coming back. I will no longer support this local business and I am very disappointed at the horrible customer service I experienced with them. UPDATE: After posting my review, the general manager reached out to me, in order to rectify the situation. He gave me a full refund and a 35 dollar credit towards a future purchase. He was apologetic and took the time to express his regret. This is the customer service I expect from a company I have ordered flowers from many times.

They also sent a complimentary bouquet as an apology, and the flowers are of good quality. The details of my refund are: It took ten days (after confirming I would be fully refunded) for my credit card to reflect the full refund. I understand there was one weekend and one stat holdiay within this time. They originally tried to offer only a partial refund if I would accept the flowers the day after valentines day. I don't think they ever should have tried to sell people on this... a full refund is really the only thing a business can do here. I of course chose full refund, no flowers, because although flowers are nice, what people are really buying is the nice thoughtful gesture to their loved one, on Valentines Day. The flowers themselves come second. My credit card was only credited for the partial refund. So I had to call back (twice) in order to remind them they'd promised me a full refund, on the phone, the morning after Valentines Day. They were courteous and apologetic on the phone each time, not confrontational or defensive at all. My credit card was then credited for the remaining amount owed. I will not be using this company again but felt it worth mentioning that they did ultimately refund my card and sent an apology bouquet. ******* I'll just add my voice to the growing number of people who were seriously let down by this company on Valentines Day 2018. I really should have filtered these reviews to the one star ones before I ordered. I'm sure their service is fine on any given Wednesday, but you'll notice a bunch of bad reviews on Mothers Day. And now a bunch on Valentines Day. They take in more orders than they will actually be able to process on peak days. It's odd that the owner is replying to these reviews immediately, but not replying to emails, phone calls, or live chat via their website. They have my phone number, and my wife's phone number, but nobody contacted either of us to tell us the flowers simply wouldn't be coming. We waited and waited, all day and into the night, and they never showed up. Radio silence. Happy Valentine's day! Our first as a married couple. Also odd is that the content of the owner's replies to these reviews isn't (but should be) something like "this is absolutely unacceptable. We know how important this day is, and it is inexcusable, and we apologize and will do everything in our power to make this better moving forward". I mean sure, there's a bit of that, but really it's "orders that went out this morning may have frozen" , or "issues on valentines day don't come from mismanagement" . Wow. Just own it! Our point of contact is you, not the contractors you hire (and don't vet well enough). It's also not the cold weather, it's you. So own it, and deal with what you have to deal with behind the scenes yourself. Unreal, frankly. Hilariously, their website proudly said they were still accepting orders to 3pm today! Other flower delivery services stopped taking orders days ago, because they weren't 100 percent sure their resources (including the ones THEY contracted out) could handle the volume. Not this place though! Keep taking those orders! To quote Seinfeld: "you know how to *take* the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them" . In short, don't trust this company on any high volume day. You could well end up disappointed like me, and like these other people who were frustrated enough to review today.

The Toronto Flower Company is one of the most organized and professional flower shops I have dealt with in my life! I placed my order with them and soon after I was informed that another family member had already arranged to send flowers to the recipient. I emailed them right away asking to cancel the order and they did so without any hesitation. However what I didn't know is that my other family member cancelled their order as well after they found out I had placed an order as well. I emailed back informing them of the situation and they reinstated my order and delivered it. It is honestly a pleasure to work with a company who is so professional in their customer care. This was one of the worst places to go with. My nieces confirmation was yesterday and I received flowers TODAY when I had to reach out. They claimed the email they had sent confirmation to had a dot at the end, which any person knows is BS. There are never any dots at the end of an email, just a sentence. We ordered flowers online for Mother’s day. We found out the day after Mother’s day the flowers were not delivered. We called the florist and after a long wait on the phone they apologized and said they had a supplier problem and would deliver the flowers the next day. Two days later there was still no delivery? We called again and after a lengthy wait on the phone we were told they would just refund our money. We ordered flowers with another florist. Later the same day we got a message that they would deliver the flowers after all however this never happened. We had to email them a few days later to get them to finally refund our money. After this post, the company contacted me and explained the difficulties that were happening. They fully refunded our purchase and offered us a voucher for a free flower arraignment. We used this voucher and are happy with their services and the flower arraignment. Everyone makes mistakes, and we are happy with how they rectified the situation.
