The store is massive with beautiful collections of fresh varieties of fruits and vegetables, global selections of cooking oils. Already made dinners and they are scrumptious, although takeaway bowels needs a little size up though. Even if you don't need anything, just take a little walk you'll love everything about the store.

I was going to this store for a long time because they have very good produce section, BUT their meats - horrible! In meat section smells like somebody died. Meat are not fresh ALWAYS. In section where you cheese and sausages by weight refrigerators working very bad : my cheese and kolbassa smelled with frion - and it's very dangerous for health.

Very poor quality seafood! Purchased and fileted a whole red snapper, it smelled very fishy, therefore it wan't fresh. The meat was also slightly soft. It was technically safe to eat, but the package said 'fresh,' and they should do better on quality.

It's a nice store, but it's very expensive. I thought going out of the city will make prices lower, but it was an unpleasant surprise. Also, not a great selection of organic fruits and veggies. A good Sobeys or Loblaws is better choice to me and much more convrnient

Hands down my favourite grocery store that I've been to in Toronto. The selection is awesome. A huge fresh fruit and vegetables section and a massive organics section (largest I've ever seen in a conventional grocery store). There are several aisles of international foods (vs just a section of a single aisle like some stores). There is a massive butcher meat, fish and deli section - (the counters wrapping in a C shape around the entire ring right section)

This is one of my favorite grocery stores in Canada. They have a great selection of products in each department. The store is very very clean, produce are always fresh, employee seems very professional especially the one who works at the counter (meat, deli, pastries etc). The store is not so crowded and I really enjoy shopping there.

Coppa's now has a savings app. Not exactly what is expecting. the new app basically gives you additional discounts on non flyer related items. The other benefit is getting a electronic receipt for all your purchases. Coppa's husband and always will be an excellent and reliable grocery store for great produce. I love coming here for all the fresh stuff. Breads, meats, you name it. Go on the outside lane of the store and you come out happy. Keep it up.

Always have a variety of fruits. Deli is great with lots of choices. Most of the staff is helpful and knows their products. However sometimes veggies may seem a little off as in kind of wilted. Though price wise not cheap I shop there every week.

I have been coming to this Coppa's grocery store at least once a month for the last three years due to it being so close to my work. I've always felt that the people working here have been very kind, but are really bad at bagging and never have enough lanes open. In the Covid-19 pandemic I have been incredibly disappointed to see staff members not wearing masks, customers not wearing masks without staff members stopping them, and an unsafe entryway that doesn't ensure any social distancing. I felt unsafe shopping here today and don't see myself taking more risks doing my essential shopping here. Their selection, service, and poor safety measures aren't worth their prices (which are still higher than everywhere else for no benefit). Overall disappointed and dissatisfied.

This place is big! There are many regular products like every other grocery store here. But where Coppa really shines is its wide variety if specialty European goods.. from deli, frozen food, snacks, sparkilng waters, pasta, canned and jarred food... the list is extensive! There are also alot of kosher options, organic and other options from the world over as well. The produce department is quite large too; maybe a quarter of the store. The selection is impressive. You will find more than one option for most fruits and veggies here! Also there are quite a few of ready made hot foods available. And the meat counter is easily the length of the store... very big! If this place were closer to home I'd go here regularly!

A massive, massive supermarket chocked full of European specialties. The hallways are extremely wide (great for COVID situations) and the variety is staggering. If you're looking for pasta, the varieties available here are nothing short of spectacular. Also can be found here: a big selection of Russian products like cakes and drinks. They also have their own bakery here. Oh - and ample parking!

Best produce section around. Massive butcher and deli counter. The employees are friendly and the store is always clean. It’s a bit annoying that they charge for plastic bags when their prices are already inflated.

This is way, way out of area for me, but, it's spacious, and clean. And it was like this before COVID-19. I'm not likely to go often, but there is a comfort in knowing it feels safe? 4 stars because it's Far From Home (Spider-Man) otherwise for quality and variety, it's a 5.

Very wide aisles. It's as if the store was designed for social distancing in mind. Great produce and and great meats. A little pricier than the competitors but the quality makes up for it. They have Dr. Schar gluten free products. Previously this store was known as highland farms but I guess families fight sometimes.

Used to be a regular shopper until my last encounter with manager and employee Burny and Trudy ( not sure if the right spelling) refused to adhere to the shoppers scanning code of practice for a goat cheese that was priced as 3.99 but scanned for 8.99. Even though we took a picture, she still took the price out and claimed "someone moved it" My sister and I both brought this to the managers attention and she rudely refused to honor it anyway. They were willing to risk losing hundreds of dollars of combined groceries for an 8 dollar cheese. We left all groceries behind and took our business else where. Never going back.

It used to be a great place to shop before the brothers split up. It's really sad to see what they had done with the place. They have hired a bunch of new people, some are ok, some are clueless and really rude. Not helpful at all, they interested their prices tremendously but their quality is no longer the same. You have staff that do not wear a mask or wear it under the noses. They don't care who walks in without a mask, they allow it. When you bring it up to management, they don't seem to care. Even some of the cashiers are not comfortable working and feel they can't tell anyone as the supervisors don't take the mask seriously and don't wear it themselves. We are in the middle of a huge surge, please smarten up people, you are the contributions to these lockdowns. If you don't care or respect yourselves, then have some common decency to respects others around you. If you don't want to wear the mask STAY HOME. So disappointing to see grown adults doing this. What are you teaching young children? Is this the example you are showing? MASKS ARE MADITORY, THE LAW. DO YOUR PART.

I've been to Coppas twice now. I don't go there to shop regularly but when I'm looking for produce I can't find elsewhere, I go to Coppas. I call in and ask and the staff confirms they have the produce (they always do). I wanted to make a peach tart but peaches aren't in season and I couldn't find any at any supermarkets. Coppas had loads. I needed bundles of fresh mint for a gravy. Same story. It is hard to find fresh mint in good quantities uptown where there isn't access to fresh foods markets like in downtown but the quality and variety of produce in Coppas literally excites me into wanting to cook and bake more things. It's really clean and the staff are super friendly and I would recommend it for specialty shopping.

I visited the place for their Fresh Bakery. They have some of the freshest and most delicious cakes, pastries and breads in the City. They also have good stock of groceries and daily essentials, priced slightly over than the usual big box stores, but also due to their unique and quality collection.

I have passed Coppas loads of times the store inside is amazing they cater for everything the store inside is well organized clean and tidy. You have big aisles where you can see the products and walk around with ease. The meat and poultry selection is very large, different fish they have a very nice lay out off fresh vegetables. One of the best grocery stores I have ever visited. This was my first-time visit and I was so impressed with Coppa's Fresh Market's grandeur, organization, cleanliness, and aesthetic beauty. The store is gigantic and has a huge variety of products with excellent quality, freshest of produce. I was surprised to see few unique vegetables that are hardly to be seen in other grocery stores. I will visit Coppa's more often henceforth and would recommend to everyone to atleast visit once even if you live far from its location.

It's close to home and very clean and perfectly stocked. Not overly crowded. Great produce, and huge butcher aisle and deli section. Great European selection, but you pay a hefty premium for all the above. I'd say about 35% higher overall cost on final bill to the other less desirable markets.

$5.99 USA strawberries were plumb & juicy & nobody was buying the same sized pack at $9.99 due to price gouging. Minigo small sized yoghurt for babies was $4.19 for a 6 pack & it has never been priced this high any where in the city before & I am talking in over a decade. Red seedless grapes were almost $10 causing us to nearly sh-t our pants upon reading the bill on our drive home. Price gouging. Made in Canada tomatoes on the vine x 4 $8.44. Price gouging. Pastries that cost us $6.37 two weeks ago were $10.32 on Feb 21/21. Price gouging. We wondered why Coppa's was basically empty at Dufferin & Finch. Price gouging. We will not be back either.

This is a very nice supermarket. It has a great variety of products from Ontario. They also have beer and wines for those who want to have fun on the weekends. They're bakery has fresh bread every day. Great place to buy your groceries.

I have never been one to complain about customer service or quality I’m always a happy camper. I loved coming here because of the fresh products. I have been going here for a few months now never have had any problems until today.. they close at 8 as it is Sunday.. so I arrived at 7:30, I went right to the deli to get my weekly cold cuts like I always do. The lady helping me was slow, didn’t have any knowledge of the products but she was knew understandable, she asked me if I needed anything else I said yeah just the cheese she let me know that someone else would help me over there it was 7:56, I went over and smiled the worker said “what happened” I kindly said nothing just wanted some sliced cheese she proceeds to say “no,no,no, should have came earlier” I said I was here at 7:30 but your coworker took awhile to slice my cold cuts. She proceeded to tell me I should have came earlier. It wasn’t 8pm yet I just wanted a few slices of cheese I have never been refused service anywhere. I have never came across such a ignorant lady until I went to the cheese section of this store. That would be the older lady with the black hair she is extremely rude

The best grocery store in Northern Toronto! Coppa’s is huge, always clean, and generally not too busy. You can peacefully shop for fresh fruits, vegetables, produce and baked goods, as well as for groceries from all over the world, particularly Italy (the Coppa brothers, the founders of the franchise, are Italian), Poland, Portugal, Greece, Croatia, and Russia. The building itself is massive, containing Coppa’s corporate headquarters, in addition to the store where you can find foods that you previously never knew existed.

I bought a wooden box of oranges. Got home and found pieces of wood in 2 of the oranges and several damaged oranges. I examined the box and realized that the box had been damaged. The quality control at this place is suspect. I'm not going back.

If you are looking for a quality and you are missing some European style food, you are welcome to Coppa's. Vegetables and Fruits are the best quality. Deli is full with different styles of sausages, kolbasa, shinka, prosciutto, cheese and many other delicious goods for you and your family to enjoy together. Highly recommended!

Not cheap by all means, but it is refreshing to do grocery shopping at your own pace with only small number of people inside (unlike costco warzone). All staff are nice and friendly, and the store is overall very clean. Would recommend for day-to-day groceries.

Very good selection of various items. You can literally spend hours in this place. The bakery has many delish options to choose from. They also have gluten free and vegan options as well. It is a little bit on the pricey side but it is quality top notch variety. The atmosphere is quite nice with a clean environment and tidy area. I have been to both locations and they are both great. Despite being a great looking store and being located a nice area, the prices are ridiculously high. Items that are on sale are either going or have already gone bad and this is the only reason they are on sale. For some reason whomever owns the store, presumably thinks that its a better idea to sell items at ridiculous prices rather than sell products cheaper in order to attract more customers. Which was disappointing. On top of that, some of the products in the stores have flies flying around, which I doesn't inspire confidence in the freshness of the produce. Overall I found this store leaves much to be desired.

Coppa's has the best take out made to order pizza I've ever ordered. Hands down better than any other take out or delivery pizza joint. What makes it a great pizza is master pizza maker Khalil. He's also very customer focused and very charming. I highly recommend it!!

I went to this store 3 days ago to buy meat, I was the only customer there, they were not busy and when I asked them to cut the meat for stew the guy who was serving me was downright resentful, he said he risked cutting his hands ?? and asked me to buy myself a set of knives so I can cut the meat myself!! This has happened before, many times, when you ask them to cut the meat for stew they resent it and do it grudgingly...Poor service in their meat department, their meats are good and hopefully they will change their attitude cause I do like to continue to shop there.

Prestige Grocery Market. Good quality and large produce and butcher section, but price is expensive. Friendly staff. Needs more sale flyer promotions. Some on sale more expensive than regular price at competitors. Beer is there!!

This is an extraordinary store. It is large and bright and usually friendly. Sadly, todays experience was not consistent with the store normal. Inexperienced floor staff were sending people (beyond me) to wrong places (because they had no idea what people asked for or where things were - like sending a couple to produce for a jar or horseradish...which is always in a cooler near other pickled items and I did see at the exact opposite side of the huge store). As normal as kosher salt is, the store did not have any - after being bounced around it was confirmed by "Dan" that they didn't have any . Premium and crazily priced (very small) ribeye steaks I asked to have cut have cut at 1.5" thick, varied by as must as 1/2" making consistent grilling a challenge. Then, 4 separate times I had to go back to the bakery counter to get 2 cannoli's. The new staff person was completely unprepared and left alone.

Cons: tasteless tomatoes, bad Lavazza coffee, slow cashiers and most items are 1% to 5% more expensive compared to other grocery stores in Toronto. Pros: quiet, clean, huge selection of fruits, and fish department is 5 stars. I'm still not exactly in love with Coppa's but it's conveniently located close to my home, so... Susan's Tip: Don't make the same mistake I made by not installing the phone app. It's the only way to get all the discounts. I thought it wasn't worth it but I now save from $10 to $20 every time.

This grocery store has a fantastic selection of foods and offers some great choices that I have not seen elsewhere (check out the cheesecake ice cream bars).They can be a little pricier on certain items but they also offer some fantastic sales in their weekly flyers. Check out their amazing bakery selection as well as meats and fish. If anything check out Coppas just to see what they offer and I. Sure you'll find something you like.

Expensive and far away from home, sometimes what I'm looking for is in stock but most times it's not. Hit or miss with stock but the store size is impressive. Staff is available but not always friendly or willing to help. Only visit when it's an absolute must.

False Advertising: The store has a gigantic sign on the outside that says "We sell beer and wine!", so I went in and searched the entire store without finding it. When I asked an employee they said "Oh yeah we used to but don't sell it anymore", so they couldn't be bothered to take down their sign.

I visited Coppa’s to buy 7 lbs of chicken thighs. They were nicely rolled up in the store to look presentable but when I got them home they were so full of bone pieces and dangling fat I was shocked. If I wanted to trim my own chicken thighs I would buy them wholesale and also, what a blatant cheating of customers. I would expect this from a struggling small shop but not from an already-overpriced supermarket.

A friendly place during the pandemic that even gave me a small bottle of sanitizer for free upon checkout. Only 64 percent alcohol but better than nothing. They have a spray bottle and paper towels upon entering to wipe down your shopping cart. They stopped serving hot food for obvious reasons, but still a great stock of veggies, fruits, cookies to get through emotional Tough times lol all the staples, milk, bread etc, a butcher area for meats and fish and deli counter, and cheese and olives etc section. I have been visiting this location for over 20 years. Used to be a highland farms now called cooks for the past few years. The staff is the same and very friendly addressing all needs. Like everyone else, a lot of easy microwave frozen food sells out first during these pandemic times, but still very well stocked. The earlier in the day you go the better as it is for all grocery store right now. Great variety of foods from different parts of the world, mostly of European areas. Social distancing is in place and it is a very relaxed environment. Positive shopping experience.

This supermarket has a fantastic selection of fresh produce, their meat and deli counter is incredible and the quality is unmatched. That on top of the fact their prices are quite reasonable makes this one of my favorite supermarkets.

Everything is of a better quality here especially the produce and meats. Italian influenced Only area that is average is seafood . Fish isn't cleaned as well as elsewhere.

This store created a complete disaster with their "reward stickers". They made customers cut and glue the "reward stickers" to the sticker book as if you are in a kindergarten. Such a stupid idea and shows no respect for customers' time. When I tried to address this with the Customer Service, they were quite rude (probably were themselves unhappy they had to deal with this bright idea). Also, the service in the cheese and cold meats departments is often very slow. Overall, while the selection of food is good, the customer service experience is poor.

First time here, I just moved in the area and wanted to grab a bite to eat and check the store out. Service was HORRENDOUS I will never come back. I asked for a slice of pizza and the lady behind the counter said “get it yourself.” The pizza was cold but I was hungry so I didn’t complain. Then I went to pay. You can only buy “hot” food at the coffee counter, so I wait for the guy to make a couple coffees and pay. It took a while, but whatever the ladies were talking to him. Then as they leave this woman goes right up and ordered a coffee. He doesn’t acknowledge the fact I had been waiting close to 10 mins now, nor does he ask her to wait. He just lets her go ahead and serves her, no acknowledgment at all. I put the food down and left, at that point I didn’t care if I was hungry I rather spend my money elsewhere. I’m so Surprised this place has good reviews...

We love going to Coppa's, formerly Highland farms. Their vegetables are always fresh, clean and properly stacked. They always look appealing enough that we end up buying more than we should have bought. Prices are higher than at No Frills or Freshco etc but well worth it. Their cake selection is fresh and great.

Used to be a great shopping experience. I don't visit it much because is far away from where I live. This year was the first year without casings in a long time. We use to make our own sausages for Christmas and Coppas was one of the few places to have the item at hand.

I used to love this place when it was Highland Farms. It changed, drastically. The quality of the fruits, veggies and meats is no where near the same and haven't been since it switched over. Went today (first time in months) no one is at the door limiting the people entering. No one is cleaning or wipping down the buggies. People are not wearing their masks properly, (and by people I mean cashiers handling the food. )All other grocery chains in midtown Toronto are really ensuring safety at their stores by hiring the extra people needed to clean, and disinfect.. this place seems to only care about profits.

Been going here for ages. Prices have gone up immensely over the last couple years. A normal fruit/grocery shopping not including any meat will cost $70-100. Quality is pretty good, generally. Staff are helpful and friendly. However, the organic rotisserie chicken I tried was really bad, not sure if it was my luck or that the case always but I won't try it again ever. Very good espresso served in the store.

I had a bad experience at Coppa's today. Got served at the hot food section by a red haired, older woman. This was my second time being served by this woman. Both times the portions were so small, I could hardly call it a meal. I visit the store everyday, except for Mondays and Tuesdays. Whenever I get served by someone else, the service is amazing. This woman, however, has such a bad attitude and was serving the food like she wanted to hold it back. I still plan on shopping here, but some better service from this particular woman would be great.

Used to be a great store to shop for groceries. Now has changed for the worse. Staff members are very rude and judgemental. On different occasions yogurt, humus, and pasta sauce bought from them had mold in it. Dairy department employees only remove expired products when I point the due dates to them and insist on removing this product from the shelves. Meat department staff is very rude and lazy when asked for a specific piece of steak they tell me they are all the same and pick the closest to them.

The best part of the Covid19 experience at this store is the free cart use. No need to have a spare coin to bust a squeaker off the chain gang. Other than that things were quite casual here. No one counting heads or checking for masks at the door. Everyone relying on everyone else to use good sense and goodwill. Watching some guy rifle through the bin of pizza dough, looking for that one magic blob that will inflate itself to proportions large enough to feed the army he's obviously quartering in the little cardboard hut under the bridge he calls home. Deciding instead to look for pizza yeast and make my own. I head for a shelf far away from Colonel Touch-it-all only to find it was the one item they had none of. Nice mature lady at the cheese counter gave me great service, so that was very good.

Today I bought a piece of fresh Salmon. My mistake was that I didn't check the fish immediately in the store (the fish was wrapped in plastic ). When I opened the package at home, the fish inside was stinky with smell of bleach and rotten fish. A month ago I threw away a few pounds of pork for the same reason (the meat was not fresh and started to stink). I don't know what happen with this store, it was our favorite super for many years, but now I think that I should find another place where to buy food for my family.

Big store. All the departments have a very good variety and are well stocked with long shelf life. Fresh produce which is hard to find, the organic stuff is better here. Great variety of meats which is why you always have to wait to be served and expect the meat clerks to be a little cranky for serving one customer after the other.

Gosh, I gave this store a try, and twice out of the last three times I visited I encountered very rude, condescending, and/or unhelpful staff members. In my last visit, a manager refused to honour a manufacture's coupon (grey haired lady with curly hair and glasses) that was valid because she did not like that it was a printed coupon that the manufacturer sent me and accused me that it was fake (it was sent this way to me through an online contest and the only format possible to bring it with me to the store). Seriously?!! Some of you are disgusting employees and I hope you get fired or go out of business!

A fantastic venue for your grocery needs. The location does not have that warm-and-fuzzy small market vibe, but it seems considerably better serviced than the typical large chain locations. The bakery is top notch and always fresh, the hot foods items are good and the grocery aisle is always stocked with quality produce. Becoming a standard go-to for me to grab items a few times a week. Coppa's in-store baklava not edible:the "filo" had the thickness of lasagna and tastes like mush. The raisin cookies had a chemical/radioactive taste and colour. Twenty bucks worth of "pastries" went directly in the garbage.

This store is very clean and tidy. The space between isles is larger than average, making it easy to move the cart even at busy times. The staff are very polite and professional. They have a huge variety of fruit, vegetables and meat. The product quality is excellent. The diary section is quite big and contains many hard to find items such as milk in glass bottles. For coffee lovers there is a good choice of whole bean coffee and industrial quality burr mills are available to grind the coffee inside the store. The meat section is quite large. They have a good selection of poultry, fish and red meat. The butchers are very neat. The meat is not only the best quality, but even the wrapping is better than what I have seen anywhere else. The inside store bakery section is also very sizable and they make quite a big variety of cakes and other deserts. Deli section contains a good selection of food to eat inside the store (currently closed) or take a way. There is also a lottery ticket kiosk inside the store. For customers convenience there is a large washroom, which is very well maintained. Prices are on par with other high-end stores, but you can find many bargains or items that are well priced in most sections. Shocked at how little they are doing to stop the spread of COVID. No one is cleaning the carts, cashiers are only wearing shields - not masks, meat department workers all had masks below their noses. Deli department workers pulled masks down to talk to customers. This is all front of house, Lord knows what is happening behind the scenes. Not returning if they are not going to abide by government guidelines.

Since they’ve changed from Highland farms to Coopas the quality really went down and the prices went up. Never before have I seen so much spoiled produce as I see now. The neat and fish department started to smell like spiked fish/poultry- I’ve never encountered it before and now it’s a regular occurrence. I don’t shop fish/meat there any longer. Also, the staff at the deli is excruciatingly slow. Need to work on quality vs prices! I’m a long standing customer who shops here weekly and I’ve been thinking of switching to another supermarket
