Very clean looking, spacious store. All staff we interacted with on April 23 were very nice, helpful and friendly.???? Special mention to Jessica at checkout, she was very pleasant. I also spoke to another cashier who was very nice and went "above and beyond" to make things right re, a small issue (short,slim, young, wore glasses...) but unfortunately don't know her name. Hot and cold food bar has lots of choices, the Mac and Cheese is amazing! Loved the cauliflower soup! ???? Very expensive though for a "salad bar" type meal so watch the total weight!???? Prices throughout store are ok for some products but high for others For example, our favorite Cheddar, Castello Tickler is $10 at Whole Foods and less than $5 at Wal-Mart (regular price) at the same Uptown Mall. That's way too much of a price difference. I also expected more organics in produce. Better choices in that regard at Superstore. Would shop here again, but will be checking prices carefully, while shopping. Great for a veggie lunch out too but again, keeping track of prices!

Amazing store! Love everything there. The food bar was reasonable, first class, tasty and fresh. Lots of vegetarian options. They have a lot of products from Ontario and are the labels on the shelf are noticeable. The staff was very helpful also. Puts Lob*((* to shame. Hope more will open up!

Whole foods is overpriced and just mostly a green washed money maker for JB. It’s true what Nathan said about the unfriendliness and being pushed aside in the aisles. The employeees at the TIL are great. The food in the bakery portions are basically becoming smaller and smaller portions while the prices are remaining the same or increasing. The food is all wrapped in plastic ....SO MUCH PLASTIC !!! Vancouver, as far as I know still doesn’t have a recycling situation for all of those “recyclable Plastic ish” containers. What is the footprint?One of the reasons the store is supposed to have higher prices is that they do this work and we pay for it. It’s supposed to be a leader and a role model but has only come down to money and the workers can’t compute YES I would like my product from the unwrapped section and in paper please. I DONT WANT PLASTIC. When asked if they can bring up to management is it’s a conflicting practice with the world today, their eyes just flutter a little and they nod slightly. It is nice to go into this store with its cleanliness and wide aisles in comparison to many places nearby. Just because it says whole foods doesn’t mean it is. It looks nice, seems green and has some good choices all in the same place. But if you visit around a little to the small businesses they are offering pretty similar options for far less. The food at the NV one is far less superior than the offerings at the Westvan. Same recipes, how can that be? Sorry but for the prices that are being charged this experience can only be improved upon in great leaps.

Who doesn't love healthy food options? While Whole Foods can be pricy they have a niche. This store is clean, has friendly staff however can be overwhelming with all the food and supplement options. Staff here are helpful and easy to speak to. Plenty of parking at this location. Easy access washrooms. Fast lane if needed.

What a wonderful location!!! Awesome seating area, jam packed at 12 noon on a Tuesday!! Comfortable!! Met with friends for lunch which was so perfect with my current restrictive diet!! Plenty of choices to eat and all ingredients are listed for every dish!! Perfect!! Was able to shop for a little gift for my friend before meeting that adheres to her restrictive diet. Awesome spot! Lots of parking, other lovely shops nearby. Had a great time.

I have came here quite often since it opened over two years ago. I would have given the hot food bar a 4.5 out of 5 back then. The veggies, meat and rice are now all dried out and look unappealing. The pizza used to be amazing and one of the best in Victoria, especially the margarita flavor (which doesn't seem to exist anymore) The pizza prices went up last year. The price used to be 2 for $7, now they are 2 for $8. Amazon now owns the chain and things have went downhill. The pizza was dry with diced veggies and burnt on February 26, 2019 - 6:40pm see photos. There is no reason to come back here again. Vibes and hot food bar sure have changed, very disappointed!

Went to get one of their coffee cakes as they're usually yummy, this time it was past done. Way over cooked.Disappointed as the bakery if generally very good. I appreciate that everything has an ingredient list on it, as I have food allergies and it helps as most stores in Victoria don't have it easily assessable. The store is clean, staff are friendly

Update 14Aug2018: I was reached out by the store team leads and was informed about the thorough investigation and the actions they took. We only exchanged emails but I appreciated that they took the matter seriously. Overpriced with poor quality. I went to get some bell peppers which I later found out that they were all rotten inside. So I had to go back and return them on the same day and pay for the overpriced packaged veggies. The customer service was very indifferent and didn’t even have a courtesy to say “Sorry for the inconvenience.” I wouldn’t want any compensation for the trouble but I expected at least an apology... I would never go back there for grocery as even the packaged veggies were also poor quality with higher than normal prices.

Very good selection, and quality. I like to get a burrito bowl every week! The sumo oranges while in stock are divine, everyone should try it. My only complaint is prices are too high. An identical product for example at save-on or thriftys could be at least $5 less. Some items I can only get here which I appreciate, with an extremely restricted diet it's hard to find food these days.

Whole Foods in West Vancouver: This location is very spacious, with more variety of groceries and produce compared to any other Whole Foods that I've visited. The hot food area has a ton of options, and looked fresh too. It was a pleasant place to visit overall.

We are glad to have a Whole Foods in Victoria. They do have good sales and community events. We were disappointed not to see more diverse meat-free and baby products than other grocery stores. However, the staff are so friendly. And the salad bar and pizza makes for a very easy family dinner.

Seems way too expensive for regular food, but the selection is pretty broad with lots of foods/brands you can't find elsewhere. I'd buy "exotic treats" here like the interesting cheeses, some seasonings, or unusual meats, but I wouldn't consider many things since I know I can get my Amy's soups and pasta pretty much everywhere else, and I don't know or trust many of the brands.

The good: Burger and breakfast. Pizza is good too. The bad: coffee station. The ask about how you want your coffee and the next kid won't do any of it. Whats the point of asking if you're not supposed to do it? Coffee quality isn't great but it is better than other places in the area. (It's North York so the bar is pretty low when it comes to coffee) The rest: meh. food in the mid section never changes. For some strange reason they always serve Indian food and it is good but not great.

I went to see if the prices had dropped since Amazon had bought Whole Foods. I found that prices generally were still high, but some reasonable items that I found were: Rolling Meadows Grass Fed Milk 2 L for $5.99 (regular price), organic Ambrosia apples $1.69/lb (sale price), organic Bartlett pears $1.99/lb (sale price). In general, their sale prices are good, their regular prices are still higher than at other stores.

A great place to go for all your groceries. They have very fresh fruit and vegetables as well as a nice fish counter, hot food and a large eating area which is the top right side of the building with lots of windows. If you park underground you can get your ticket validated. They also get great cheesecake here!!

This is my favorite grocery store in Oakville. Always full of high quality and interesting products. I don't go here for casual shopping, but if I need to quickly assemble a really good dinner Whole Foods has never let me down. There are some surprisingly negative reviews here. The amount of them is puzzling to me. I can say I only visit the store on the weekends. Perhaps it's a different staff or something. It's very expensive. If you don't like expensive stores your brain will explode. Don't enter the building. The aisles are narrow as if it's an urban location. If you like wider aisles go to Walmart or Superstore. The staff at the counters are knowledgeable and friendly. The meat and fish counter teams are great guys. The cheese people are very knowledgeable. Everything is kept moving swiftly in there. I never wait any amount of time at the check out. They keep that little store moving. It's actually a really efficient use of space. People can get in an out fast. It's a great place to buy gourmet or specialty items such as dry aged beef, etc. Love this store.

On the pricey side, and always seems to be crowded, but the selection is great when you want to find good healthy foods and local fare. Also a great addition to the Uptown area for lunch options, as the sandwich station, salad bar, burrito station, bar and cafe all have great food on the go. Can't wait to enjoy a beer and snack on the patio in the summer.

Ok, so first the good - the customer service is pretty good - overall experience with the employees at WF was positive. The pasta/salad bar is pretty fresh and the broccoli salad was pretty good! The store is enormous though, and sometimes things are hard to find, especially if you don't know where to look. The manager - forgot her name was not very receptive though. Was suppose to get back to me to address some questions that I had and never did. Hence the lack of 5th star.

The self serve deli segment has lots of healthy food. There was a lack of gluten free options. It did feel uncomfortable to be there as the Whole Foods in Victoria attracts a really narrow demographic. If you can look past the pricing that feeds into making an expensive place to live even more expensive, then it's a good place to shop. If you object to a dynamic that makes poverty translate into poor nutrition, then you too may feel uncomfortable.

I go here often to grab food either from the diner, or other made to order stations. Knowing prices of grocery items at other stores offering health food, many of these are markably higher at whole foods. So I do little actual grocery shopping here. Yes eating healthier can cost more, but not that much more! Like 10 dollars more for the vaga powder at whole foods then at my local supermarket. Still I can find the odd deal or reasonably priced items here and there. But no longer the smoothies count as reasonably priced. Since raising the price they are not worth it. They are not using the same premium ingredients of health food cafe's or restaurants but charging nearly the same price. So not worth it. The coffee still is. Heaven forbid though, if you want to grab a bite or a latte from 8:40 pm. Even though at nine it closes, the staff will turn you away early because they are about to close? Why don't they just say they are closed from 8:50 then? Truth is they cleaned up early, left their station, leaving you waiting for ten minutes hoping, just to tell you at 8:55 because they are ALMOST closed they are "closed".

I go here almost everyday for lunch as I work in the village. Mostly when I get to the cashier they never ask how are you! The first thing out of their mouths is “wanna bag” so today when I got to the cash Campbell, the cashier said “wanna bag” so I said hello how are you, and he huffed and said do you want a bag. After I said no, he said, I’m fine, but didn’t ask how I was. It’s disheartening as Whole Foods prides themselves on high standards which are continually never met. Do better Campbell.

Once I had purchased bread that was well baked from the outside, but pretty much raw on the inside... only found out at home, put it in the oven, yet the bread became of some kind of a pinky-red colour :(( So the blips happen here too.. Let alone most of the products are overpriced here, when you can find the same exactly products sold for less = at Lablaws (organics section) for example.....

Although, it is pricey in compare with other grocery store. I am sure it is worthy with the quality. The store is well kept and organized. I particularly like the food corner that offer both hot and cold food including great varieties of salad at reasonable price. The seating area is a bit small and is linked with the cashiering and check out area that is the down side of the entire store layout planning. Otherwise, I would expect a higher patronage for the food corner...

BEWARE CATERING BUSINESS! I ordered some platters of food for my wife's 60th birthday. I went to pick up order and was informed that because of an issue with their computers my order (which was sent 4 days before pickup) did not get to the kitchen. Imagine that a company owned by Amazon has computer problems? I quickly ordered some food from their deli stand for the function and before leaving - expressed how disappointed I was with their service, that they had lost a big advocate of their business (I had used them for a Xmas event and everything was spectacular) and only ask that I be contacted by a manager to fully explain what happened. Well 2 days have passed and no contact from the store - trust is a fragile and valuable part of a relationship. I no longer have any trust with this service. As you can see below - my response from the "owner" was to contact their customer service number - no call from management.

Whole Foods Market takes the displeasure out of grocery shopping. They manage to turn a weekly chore into a wonderful shopping experience. Freshly baked goods, lunches and dinner are all readily made for your convenience. A wide variety of products is available, with staff attending to make sure you find whatever you need. I personally enjoy the juicing bar.

I had an organic shopping experience from I entered the Oakville Whole Foods Market. Pun intended. The shelves were fully stocked, the baked products were nicely displayed, and the store was super clean. I went in search of a chocolate dessert and got the double chocolate cake and 2 mini key lime tarts, thanks to a very helpful bakery attendant. I loved the fact that I could pick up a container and serve myself from the display rack which was closed to prevent cross contamination. This has got to be my favourite Whole Food location. I plan to make many more visits.

This review is for the Coffee bar. They make great drinks but are often “temporarily closed”. It’s a shame because they make great quality drinks but there is always something going on that makes them very inconsistent and difficult to get a hold of. Always disappointing to seem them closed so often due to some sort of technical problem or other reason. I like to shop in the North Vancouver location because it is conveniently located enroute to my other grocery shopping locations. We only buy some specific items here, like organic dairy, eggs, some pastries and rare items we love but can’t find anywhere else. Some of the 365 products are nice too. Other things that are available for less elsewhere, we get in other stores. The staff is always friendly and overall it’s great experience.

I was little disappointed with organic apples because they had only gala apples for organic and more than 10 varieties for non organic apples. I think big carrot is much better place for organic food - they don't even have non organic apples in Big Carrot. I hope it was only that time. The biggest problem for me with Whole Foods Market was pricing for most of the products there. Organic food is expensive and I know that but overpriced at this place

Excellent food buffet, service ..specials This is what I used to feel about wholefoods before being sold to Amazon. The quality and taste are not the same. They removed the nuts from the pumpkin scone. The buffet was unique, healthy and delicious....not any more. This morning the bacon was all burnt. and the detox salad had added sugar to it. Very sad to have lost our special Wholefoods!

I had no idea there was a Whole Foods in Toronto! I was on my way to attend a meeting and made a quick stop here first. I focused on Vegan and gluten-free lifestyle and food items. The gluten-free free aisles are full of healthy and unhealthy goodies. The great thing about Whole Foods is that they carry a variety of my favourite GF and V brands such as Daiya Foods, Udi's and Kinnikinnick. I bought Kinnikinnick chocolate donuts (which I haven't had in years!), Daiya's Jalapeno Havarti block cheese, Amy's Pad Thai, Vegan charcoal soap and a roll-on fragrance. Will definitely be visiting again!

I’m giving 5 stars based on the exceptional knowledge of their staff. I’m always impressed by them when I ask for specific items and they know exactly where they are or an alternative to what I’m looking for. I would say they are one of the more expensive stores vs Planet Organic, Goodness Me, Organic Garage and the least expensive out of all I find is Healthy Planet. But it depends on what you are looking for because most don’t have the awesome hot/cold lunch stations and deli/bakery. Just know your prices before you go.

Before the pandemic, I used to come here all the time and order a vegan pizza. Now, everytime, I try and order one, I have to first fight with them to even understand what vegan is (at wholefoods of all places). Then they say they don't have the cheese which the very much so cause it's in the fridges; when I tell them that, they have the audacity to make me fetch instead of getting it themselves. Finally, for the life of them, they can't seem to wear their masks properly and keep their noses above it.

Whole Foods has always been my number one place for fresh food and quality selections! A lot of the items here are perfect of specific diets. I get all my keto ice cream here, it's my favorite! Staff is helpful and polite. Plenty of parking space out front. Some of the items are a wee bit expensive but I'd rather spend the extra $ one clean certified food than at a budget grocery. You can't put a price on long term health! Stay safe out there and keep washing those hands people!

Just came home from Whole Foods - I don't write reviews unless I'm really incensed - I bought one item at the floral counter - I asked the clerk if they were expecting more flowers? - her answer "There are lots of flowers - how many flowers do you need"? I explained that I was used to more flowers in the flower section (I was going to mention that I understand that we are in a pandemic at the moment but I really didn't feel like she cared what I had to say) I just said that there was only one bouquet of tulips and they looked rather worse for wear - she said there are lots of flowers - look at all the flowers! I asked if they were expecting more flowers in the near future? she said - "how would I know" she was downright rude. Just for the record I think her badge said "Cathy" but I'm not sure, Receipt states: Till 31 OP No 2126822 Transaction #856735 Date 26/06/2020 6:53 pm this should help locate who this very rude salesperson was. I have worked in sales my whole life I would never respond to an inquiry in this way - there are a lot of people looking for jobs right now and this employee clearly doesn't value hers - Pandemic or no pandemic front line worker or not - sorry no excuse for rudeness - I always go to WF for flowers - I think I'll go to Sobey's or Longo's from now on

Most employees have a poor attitude here, reflection on management. Black shoplifting lady follows everybody around. She pretends like she is shopping.. with a cart sometimes. You'll notice she never cashes out and she speaks to other employees. A lot of products also are not organic nor gmo free so make sure you read products if you buy here. They always have good produce if you know how to buy it. It's the only one I've been to, so I can't compare selection to WV location. The odd time I picked up some hot bar dinners, they aren't bad. Its buffet food, not sure what most people expect from food sitting under hot lamps. Don't buy the in-house seasoned fish. Twice I've picked it up and both times felt sick before finishing it, should have known from the strong smell while baking or frying. It kinda turned me off their fresh fish too. I don't know much about sourcing fish, but I do know it's all pretty unregulated and it's more $/lb for fresh wild fish here... no more WF fish for me.

Since the merger the price of some items have significantly gone down, but some are still at their old prices and can seem significantly overpriced for their "organic" value. They do have fresh meat, fish, cheeses if you are willing to pay the price. Their cafe is also pretty good with good selection of healthy food, but their "buffet" salad bar can also add up quickly if you load up on heavy items.

Review August 28, 2018. Whole Foods has changed so much since it change owners, some of the items I used to buy are not available anymore. I used to buy brioche buns and now they sell their own brand but they don’t taste as good, also my husband used to like their chocolate croissants but he doesn’t like the new ones from “France” that do not have their ingredients listed. I do not like buying food without reading the ingredient list. Also one time I saw Cheerios ????. I don’t go as often as I used to, I’m not liking their changes. First review 2 years ago (5 stars) Every time I been to this location I had a good experience. Love their bakery section, specially their chocolate croissant. Produce is always very fresh and of good quality. I also buy meat and chicken from them and is always good. Yes, prices are on the higher end so I don't do my full grocery shopping here I only buy what I am missing that I couldn't find anywhere else. I also have been to some of their classes and I have enjoy them very much.

I recently visited the Yonge and Sheppard store and I asked a cashier for help on a product because I couldn't find anyone else on the floor, she had a horrible attitude and told me to ask someone else. I still couldn't find anyone on the ground so I asked again, courteously and nicely. She had a poor attitude and told me "Im a cashier, Im not supposed to know anything about the products, I just scan, lady." I then asked to see who was in charge and a worker named Fungai assisted me, she had a worse attitude than the cashier and told me specifically "cashiers aren't supposed to know anything about the foods sold, If you want a cashier that knows info on the food go to a smaller supermarket" After hearing this, I left immediately and I will never be returning. I hope the owners or managers are aware of the fact that they have workers with poor attitudes assisting their customers.

I called at 10:15 am on the day of to see if maybe the cake was ready to pick up (original pick up time was noon) the lady who answered sounded beyond stressed out and in full-tone stated “Nope! I actually just got here literally a few minutes ago and haven’t started it yet, it should be ready around noon” I was shocked at the amount of attitude. Wondering why they need 48 hrs notice when apparently they really only need 2? The cake itself was awful, I was really anticipating it being SUPER fresh after hearing that she hadn’t even started it less than 2 hrs before pick up but it was absolutely awful, I’m not sure whether it was super stale or majorly over-baked, it was the driest cake I’ve ever had. I had this same cake last year and it was wonderfully moist and flavourful (hence why I was a repeat customer for this product). We actually had to add copious amounts of soy milk mashed into the cake in order to soften it enough for my client so it wasn’t a choking hazard. Anyways lesson learned, next year I’ll be giving my business to someone who doesn’t treat me like I’m a problem and is happy to make a cake rather than annoyed. What a terrible experience overall, wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I would give the staff five stars because they were incredibly helpful, however the store itself is very large and perhaps because it's the only one in Victoria, there were many items that I was looking for that were sold out or just not stocked. I shopped here because I was visiting in town at a hotel without a kitchen and wanted a clean, organic option for dinner. Have to say I was quite disappointed that a lot of the things that you would expect at Whole Foods were missing or sold out. It was later in the day but it wasn't evening so I was surprised that around dinner time they were absolutely no to-go salads available and the pre-made dinners were very minimal. There was a full salad bar and a hot bar but a lot of the items were very low or sold out and weren't being replaced. In the end I opted for a half rotisserie chicken which wasn't my first choice but was at least warm. I would steer people off the salt and pepper one. It sounded like it would be a nice option because it would at least have some flavor, but it it had so much salt that I literally had to rinse it off in the sink. Imagine rinsing off a piece of chicken because it has too much salt! Other than that it is your standard Whole Foods. Large, lots of options in general and understaffed. Lastly I want to mention and ward you off the Whole Foods home brand Allegro coffee. I was excited to find a decaffeinated espresso that was Swiss water decaf (there were no other brands avaikable that that's why I chose theirs) but the flavor of this is so poor. It tastes like coffee beans that have been sitting in the bulk bin for a year. Big avoid on that product!

This store has won the company award - Gold and Silver for the BEST store COMPANY WIDE several years in a row. I love this location, true it's cheaper in the US, but everything is. I also went to the states and my kale salad wasn't chopped properly, the quality control was way off in the Washington store I visited, I've never had a quality problem at the West Van store. Sometimes they are out of something, but they usually ask me if I didn't find anything at check-out and if I'd like help, someone is always very prompt to help out and grab anything I couldn't find. I shop here regularly. I used to get annoyed that I had to do a separate run to another grocery store to get things like the junk cereals I used to enjoy. Now (7 years later) I appreciate that they cultivate their offerings - based on various criteria that I value such as: locally produced or raised; healthy; sustainable; ethically raised/farmed; and organic. They are expensive, but I've come to appreciate that that's the cost of quality or at least it's more reflective of the cost of food that's produced in a way that I want to support. True, some things are priced as high as the producer thinks they can command, but just watch what you buy here, the bill can add up fast. :) So happy I live near-by this gem!!!

Used to be one of the best burrito bars in Victoria, BUT they have changed since COVID. You used to be able to get one in a large sized bowl, but they have shaved the bottom of the bowl off and they now put a lid on it so you get WAY less. If they lowered the price it would be fine, but they didn't. The work around is to get it in a wrap then you get it full sized still, but it's very hard to eat then.

Save the planet, bring in your reusable mug for your coffee to go. This whole foods has just about everything you could want, from groceries to quick meals two coffees and pastries. It's got a nice little eating area if you want to sit and stay awhile, but also has your everyday organic needs and groceries. There is plenty of parking in the shopping mall and in the surrounding area, and the staff are generally pretty fantastic.

I am really disappointed by my recent shopping experience at the Whole Foods in Ottawa. I went there last Saturday to buy groceries. The main reason I go there is to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, fish and interesting products that I can’t get in Arnprior. I purchased a container of arugula that said best before November 25. Went to have it for dinner today and the whole thing was rotting and disgusting. I would take it back but I live an hour away from the store. The selection of leafy greens that day were all round very poor. I hoped the arugula would be okay. Very disappointing!

I purchased a pair of $94 slippers for my mother who is in a wheelchair and cannot come into the store to try them on. I was told by the clerk that "due to the current circumstances, we cannot refund or exchange". I also asked if I can hold onto them until after COVID and try at that point. He said that's also not allowed. This is a nonsensical policy, and now I am the one who loses over $100 put of pocket because a corporation isn't willing to satisfy a customer. Ironically if it was a manufacturers defect then I could return it.

I love the amazing selection of vegan products at Whole Foods. My husband and I had dinner at Beertown, which has fantastic service and a complete vegan menu. I ordered a vegan caesar salad and the vegan dressing was lovely. We walked over to Whole Foods to purchase a Caesar salad dressing and found a few other great vegan products. But then we went to checkout. The cashier had a nice conversation with the customer in front of us and then when the customer left, she turned to us and the smile was gone. She looked down and talked with her face down while checking the items out. I had to politely ask her to repeat herself because I could not hear her. I'm not sure what the problem was, but Gemma did not move the items along to within our reach. We waited for her to say thank you or anything really to finish the transaction, but the moment she handed me the receipt, we were apparently finished. She immediately turned her back and moved on to the next customer, leaving the purchased items just out of reach (right in front of her). I had to reach around the debit card machine for the items. Only when I asked her name, did she smile and engage. Disappointing. More training is absolutely needed. I don't pick and choose which Patients I'm respectful to. Acknowledge every customer Gemma, with a genuine smile. It's good customer service. Great selection of vegan products, but Gemma's lack of customer service marred our experience.

Probably one of the best Whole Foods stores in Vancouver but also most probably the most expensive grocery store in Metro Vancouver. The Organic produce section is amazing and so are the seafood, meat and bakery sections. There is hardly anything you would not find in here except for my beloved Barley Bran. Unfortunately, the coffee bar closes at 2pm when the afternoon crowd starts moving in. All in all, it is a pleasure to shop here. Parking is free.

Definitely missing the buzz of West Vancouver Whole Foods Market. Staff are often not familiar with what's on their advertising and online flyer. Today I wanted to try the bohemian sandwich and it was a featured sale item. Not only they did not have any made (at 11am), the staff person didn't look too enthused to look for the veggie Pattie its made with. This has happened before too ... I think the main reason is the lack of traffic and customers coming to this location. It's quiet most of the time. I purchased some items from the hot bar and it was ok. Again not the variety you see at the West Vancouver branch. Also visited the Floral Dept and decided to go to West Vancouver branch as they didn't look fresh and not enough little bouquet variations were made.

EVERYONE - go to Natures Emporium instead! All of Natures Emporium's prepared foods are made with organic produce and ingredients. Wholefoods is nothing more than a corporate machine trying to squeeze as much profit out of its customers as possible. Save your money and go shop at Natures Emporium and support a local business.

Let you tell me about my family's first experience at Whole Foods. The first time we went there it was as a family of four myself my partner our then eight-year-old and our baby daughter. We started pushing a cart beginning at the cheese section and quickly realized this was not a place to get things at a reasonable price. The cheese alone is the same price as a mortgage. To make a long story short we came up on the juice section and there in was two liters of five alive for $7.99. Now the parking lot is attached to the same parking lot as Walmart where you can get the same five alive 2 liter carton for as little as 2 dollars. We made our way to the cashier with our four items and while standing in line decided to walk away from the cart and go to Walmart. I recommend you do the same. #lonelycartblockingaisle

Yes, it is an expensive store overall. Yes, WF in the US is cheaper - but what isn't? For us it works very well. We buy all our meat here - since we love the non-GMO idea. For organic vegetables and fruit, prices are palatable. We have found better options for fish. It is also worth following their sales - we have a few articles that we only buy when on sale. And of course we don't expect it to be what it isn't (e.g. we are not buying paper towel here, Costco rocks for that kind of stuff). Finally, for in-store made foods I dare anyone to beat their variety and quality. And a quick word about Customer Service - it's been stellar, in my experience. From simple returns to as far as listening to one suggestion I made about creating a new SKU from some produce they already had. Just wish they had more product tasting.

Very good location, convenient underground parking, albeit it's not free - but you'll get your parking ticket stamped by the whole foods if you buy for over $15. Otherwise food is really fresh and delicious here, great produce and amazing selection. Coming back all the time. this is probably the most integrated eco-friendly convenience store in Ottawa. it offers various produces, mostly locals. if you crave for organic produces and everything organic, this is the place. anything you imagine, you will likely find it here, from artisanal bread, cheese, fresh produce, juices, farm produce, pastas, soap bars and even clothing (limited). they also have large seating area, as thinatorw also sells ready made (healthy) food, from salad, pasta to sushi. their water fountain is excellent. the cleanliness is superb. their bar table has usb charging spot (leave your bulky power brick behind). they have long table for big groups, and also separated tables for four. if you park undergeound, ask for free parking. you might find it handy and helpful. price wise ... well, since most are local and organic, so a bit pricey. fyi: they have allegro cafe downatairs by the elevators ... love their mint tea ...

Sometimes I go there to pickup some fresh veggies, it is the best place for big selection of organic produce and other organic items. The price is more than the conventional items, but it is more reasonable than the non organic items at City-market on Lonsdale, so if you are a regular customer at City-market I encourage you to try the Whole-food on 13th which is just three blocks a way, you will find fresh organic food for the same price you pay for conventional food at City-market.

The cafe is great. The coffee and breakfast cafe infront of the grocery store serve it up right and fast too. I really enjoy the salad and hot food bar buffet in the store itself also -- fresh, delicious and with a lot of healthy choices for all types of diet. Be careful when you purchase into this store. They use many marketing tricks to present “discount” that actually doesn’t exist. Especially for fresh fruit and vegetables. Read labels very carefully, all tiny letters. That is not something that you want when you go to grocery store, but for this one, you will have to do it or you will spend a lot of money

Probably won't shop here again. Stopped in for the second time while were getting a charge at the supercharger in the mall parking lot. I checked the flyer; Yves Veggie Bites were advertised in the flyer. We wanted to try them but they were sold out. Asked for a rain check but was met with a cheery "Sorry we don't do rain checks. There's nothing we can do for you". I know you are a U.S. chain, but there is an understanding, if not rule, here, that if you advertise something, you should have enough quantity on hand to meet the increased demand, and if not, offer a rain check. Most other stores in Victoria do this, and I will be unlikely to be motivated by any Whole Foods flyer, as you have no honour in this regard. Not that I imagine you will care for losing my business. The store seemed busy with millennials who don't mind spending too much and getting poor service.

While notoriously overpriced, Wholefoods does offer some very good lunch options and one of the best deals is the burrito and taco bar. The prices have creeped up over the past couple of years and there is no discount deal on a Thursday but this is still reasonable value for money. Your typical overpriced and snobby whole foods. However, there is a specific brand of tomato sauce I cannot find anywhere else, so I come here for that and that alone. I cannot imagine paying such high prices for simple food (like juice in their juice bar). It is always VERY busy and I am shocked by the number of people who eat lunch here. My favorite ritual is going to the food bar at the front of the main supermarket entrance on the left and order their steamed mussels entree. The staff there are very courteous and attentive. I like to make a quick shop there after going to the gym nearby.

Been coming here for years since they opened. Expensive, yes, even after bought out by Amazon. Some things are a little cheaper but generally still more than most groceries. Come here a lot for the great selection of healthier items that you can't find anywhere else. Love the fresh baked breads and pastries, at par with higher end bake shops. Not impressed with the cakes and hot table “ items, but that is just me, I like my food freshly made, especially when I am paying higher prices for it. Pizza is quite good especially when they are freshly baked. I agree with the other reviews, hit and miss with the staff. Mostly pleasant and helpful, except for the plump older female cashier with short hair. She has ALWAYS been grumpy and has very negative vibe, you're almost afraid to have her as the cashier, not sure how she got hired. I hesitate shopping there when I remember her or just avoid her lane as much as possible, she's usually near the coffee section, as her demeanor ruins the experience.

Got sold expensive pork chops that went bad before the due date. They were in a very cold fridge. They smelled like ammonia or fish when taken out to be marinated. It was disgusting. Called the store and customer service manager basically shrugged and said nothing they can do since they aren’t processing returns right now. Of course they could offer a store credit easily. I don’t think people have a lot of money to flush down the toilet right now. This is not expected for a supposedly higher end store with products they claim are superior. Very disappointed, don’t plan on ever going back.

I was enjoying getting some vegetarian meat and patties from here. Even i was buying 2 big bottles of kombucha almoat every to every other day from here. I didnt mind spending more. Until i went for their hot food. They had some curries that day. I was super excited!!! I spent $22 plus tax. Which i didnt mind at the time. Curry is always worth it in my opinion. But this was just terrible!!! And for the price!!! Unbelievable!!! It was so really water down curry. No taste. I didnt even eat it. If i had time to complain that day. I would have!!!!!

Love their freshly made sandwiches but unfortunately many days they will only have one or two types of sandwiches to choose from so it’s always hit or miss. I didn't think I would like it because of all the 'high prices' comments I hear, but it's a pretty great store. I'm not sure if it will have longevity as it is always pretty quiet when I've gone. If I worked close to this place and wasn't a 'bring my lunch to work' gal, I'd go here for lunch. Amazing salad bar with hot and cold items! Love that they sell great facial products and soaps. Very clean and organized vegetable area. Neat little gift area for kitchen goods. An olive bar. They even have a little cafe with food and not sure what kind of alcohol, but I saw a sign for something and I was surprised. There's a little terrace too for dining outside. Decent bulk section. Overall, worth a visit!

we went to wholefoods park royal sunday morning and bought two coffee. my latte tasted absolutely terrible and sour. Even my friend agreed that there was something wrong so we decided to change it for a muffin because i wanted a chai tea bag but they do not have it anymore! They have very limited tea bags. While shopping in the Essential Oils section, I asked a question to an employee, the woman was rude and uninterested. This is despite the fact that she stood right beside me during the entire time. When I asked for the location of a product, the employee used her foot to identify the product. All the while, in a deeply condescending tone, the employee asked me to repeat myself. Terrible experience. I then shared my experience with the customer service. They were polite and helpful! In terms of the products, they were excellent.

Best service, and generous aisle space for shopping. 4 stars because after all, Whole Foods is not known for being a budget shopping destination. Would prefer to see less deli sandwich choices slapped together with mayo, or perhaps some with mayo and some sandwiches without high fat mayo. Then again, just a personal preference. The pizza is okay. Have yet to try the sushi. What stands out is the wonderful salad bar, bakery and cheese selections. Try the almond cheese. Pricey yet very good !
