Store was great. Unfortunately other customers still cannot understand how far 6 foot or 2 meter is. Apparently to some just passing by and hitting your shoulder is the same thing. Also it would be nice if someone taught the casher the difference between a mask (that covers nose and mouth) and a chin strap.

On 16 July 2021 I bought Lamb Neck from Persa Foods and put it in the refrigerator and today(18 July) I opened it to prepare some food but unfortunately it smells dusgusting, it is gone off!!!!! It is clear that the meat is packed few weeks ago despite of the product label!!!!

Poor service, the staff are not helpful at all. Dirty, so many flies inside, especially near the produce section. The janitor was not wearing a mask, and other employees took it off when not around other people inside the store. Better off going to the other Persia foods on 15th Street, at least the staff there are more helpful and wear mask inside.

Helya, the cashier was so warm and helpful in sharing recipes and recommendations nearby. Wide range of products and produce, and fresh nuts that were welcomed to taste test for freshness. Many other staff are pretty straight-faced and matter-of-factly, and not warm: they want you in & swiftly out.

You may find Persian and some Asian food ingredients and fruits. Price wise, it is competitive. Their qualities are okay, some times are good, some times okay. Staff are kind and they are friendly and polite. I think Persia worth 4 stars ad can get 5, too.

My first time there and the service is so bad that I won’t go back. They had one cash register open and could not get it to work, and they also would not give us who were waiting for ten minutes priority over customers who just came in, so not wanting to invest another 20 minutes, I left. Some friendliness or communication would have helped. The cashier was calm but wouldn’t say or do anything to help the people waiting in line.

I made my purchases most of the time from this store. But I will not buy from this store anymore. I went to this store on Wednesday, January 6, and when I asked the cashier to return one of my items because the price was different from the price calculated in the system, she laughed at me and said that the price difference was only $1. She was so rude and and you laughed at me again. I asked her name, her name is Mana to complain to the store manager. But the store manager was not in the store at that moment.

This placed used to be wonderful and filled with a great vegetable section with tons of organics and great prices but that time is now gone. Hate to say it but the new owners bought out this once great market and turned it into something very bland. Sad to see. Can't say I have any reason to go back anymore.

There are a lot of spices, and there are various meats in the booth on the left side when you enter the store. There are many things that you can hardly see in Japanese supermarkets such as motu and bones. I like all kinds of bread, such as chapati, and nan, which I can buy here. I am glad that freshly baked items are packed in bags or some are still warm. The vegetable, herbs, meat and fresh produce are great but the grocery and nuts are not good. The cash register needs improvement to handle the number of people shopping there, as of result there is most of the time a lineup. The store is not much organized and the shopping basket is all over on the ground.

This store used to sell only produce but now they've crammed the space full of other goods. Yes, they carry some unique products but the store is very cramped and their customer service is lacking. The other day there must have been 18 or 20 people in line for one cashier. Goods are reasonably priced however some of the produce is at or past its best ( there were rotten peaches adjacent to the limes I was there to purchase).

Taken over from the previous owners but retains the excellent prices (Certainly the best veggie prices on Lonsdale) and solid selection. They made some changes, some good, some bad. Better - better cabbage and much better cauliflower, which for some reason the previous owners' supplier had a problem with. Worse - they dropped the self-moistening displays for the veggies so things can sometimes wilt a little. Not a major issue generally, but it does occur sometimes, so pay attention when buying carrots and broccolli. Minor gripe- the new general display shelves are a lot more utilitarian and unattractive so it drops the ambience a little. Then again, I'm not there to buy the shelves, and I already know the very good prices so it doesnt stop me going, but it might affect new customers somewhat. Right across from the London Drugs, so as long as you hit up London Drugs for something as well then parking is easy.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced during my visit in Vancouver. We were there 10 minutes before closing and the cashier was super rude. We were in the line up to pay and we were the last customer. She started yelling at us and was talking to my husband like she is talking to a deaf person. The previous customer was still paying and she started yelling hurry up Harry up to us. I felt so bad and wanted to speak with the manager but was scared that the chubby cashier eat me up if I stay there for another second. Please start training your staff.

The reason you are going here is for price. It’s a small grocery store with several locations throughout the lower mainland. The stores are small, disorganized and somewhat unclean. It’s not Whole Foods or save on foods. Typically it’s busy and you will be waiting in line as they only have two cashiers and really no other staff to help you.
