I've had some good experiences with Larry's Market in the past, which is why I'm giving them 3 stars. Their delivery is normally quick and good and in general I've had good experience with their products. Unfortunately, I've recently had some bad experience with the quality of their produce and with their customer services. I received subpar items such avocados that were already overripe and unusable. When I emailed them about it, I just didn't hear back. Disappointing experience.

Such a great selection of baked goods and grocery. I'm not vegan but had the vegan salted dark chocolate and marshmello cookie and WOW! Clean and easy to find what you need. Lisa has such an amazing & friendly energy. Even though I don't live in that area, I will definitely visit more often. Coffee is spot on perfect too????

I was excited to check out this store, as I am vegetarian and celiac. I thought I might be able to find some new products. It was the same products I find at other independent grocery stores, with a much higher price tag. Staff were friendly, and willing to answer questions. I found the staffs t-shirts with the message "plants over prescriptions" to be in poor taste. It's not okay to shame or stigmatize people who need to take medications. It's arrogant, and offensive. I definitely won't be shopping at Larry's Market in the future.

We went for ice skate and couldn't find anything we all like to have for lunch until we found this place that we all were so happy when we walked in because had everything we wanted for the whole family, healthy, delicious and reasonable price. Our babies loved their grilled Cheese, I loved my salads, my husband loved his sandwich and my step daughter loved her salad with chicken. Very nice and friendly service. So we'll finitely go back again because we'll go for ice skate so see you again.

Larry’s has brought a great vegan + vegetarian grocery and cafe to the north shore. My favourite is the mushroom burger! We order delivery from here at least once per month and love the food.

The food here is incredible! The vegan breakfast wrap was huge, smoky, and savoury, the avocado toast was generous and on thick, fresh bread. The cauliflower pizza was lightly sweet and spicy, with a perfect crust, and the holiday truffles were mind-blowing (this coming from someone who is usually not a fan of raw chocolates). The staff were super friendly and clearly cared about the quality of food they put out. Will definitely be back anytime I'm in the area. Highly recommend that you check this place out, vegan or not. PS: Please consider adding a tip option on Uber, this food definitely deserves it!

These guys are amazing. Not only do they carry excellent products but they are super nice. Plus, their delivery service is crazy efficient. Yesterday I tried their delivery service. They promise delivery in under an hour and was I ever surprised when they actually showed up in under an hour. (I was so surprised I forgot to tip the driver - sorry). This is a local, small business. I will be supporting them from now on, especially during this challenging financial period. Good products, good prices, good service, good people. How could you ask for more!

Price gouging during a state of emergency is unbelievably inconsiderate in you local community. All of the items purchased were almost a quarter of the price elsewhere than what we paid at Larry's Market. I recommend to all people on a fixed income during a time of uncertainty to boycott Larry's Market.

I love this place! I go multiple times a week when visiting Van because their pizzas are so dang good! I especially love the jackfruit pizza & their house made sauces. Their chickpea sandwich is really good too. Honestly you can't go wrong with anything they make & the grocery store itself is pretty cool too! They would do amazing opening a pizzeria separately...such good vegan/veg pizza! The dough is phenomenal & I have tried almost every pizza they make. Every single one is 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆.

Larry's Market has flawless and professional customer service. I used them for Mother's Day delivery and they were extremely kind and thoughtful in their communication. I used them again for a friend's birthday delivery recently, and they went above and beyond, delivering a bonus item (spicy kimchi!) that was supposed to be included in the order. Although it turned out to be MY mistake in ordering, staff member Emily graciously did an extra delivery with just that item! The food has also received rave reviews. Thank you Larry's!

Really interesting place if you want to do a quick grocery shopping. They have really great vegan items and the prepped food section is fresh. I found a maple syrup from here it was more expensive but it has officially changed the way i look at maple syrup now. The staff are really nice and overall the place has a great vibe.

We: one curious carnivore, one seasoned vegetarian wanted to explore what Larry’s, the vegetarian grocer down at North Van’s shipyard was all about. First surprise: the delivery was impressively fast and cheerful! We had ordered Larry’s mushroom burger that arrived in a compostable container and sat on a perfectly plump freshly baked pretzel bun. Not only did everything look crisp and appealing, but that positive impression was validated when we took the first bite from a super succulent Beyond Meat burger, perfected by Larry’s house-made tangy vegan mayo, and a side salad that featured — instead of commonly served wilted lettuce leaves and tired tomato slices — crunchy broccoli pieces, tasty bits of kale, olives, and spicy chickpeas. So much healthy love put in a side-kick! Our second order was the brassica Caesar wrap: whole-wheat tortilla stuffed with toasted organic broccoli, kale, and organic marinated tofu. The big surprise for us in this meal were crispy coconut bacon bits – so fun and absolutely addictive! For dessert, we split a mouthwatering lemon loaf and a salted tahini bar. Me, and being a bit of a lemon loaf connoisseur, approached this with some skepticism! But that generously portioned slice did not disappoint: luscious and moist, yet with a delightful crunch to it, I enjoyed every bite. I had to investigate their website to find out the secret ingredient that makes the loaf both juicy and surprisingly crunchy: coconut milk and millet! The pièce de résistance was the salted tahini bar – Nanaimo bar’s healthy cousin! All vegan and gluten-free, this chocolatey treat is the perfect healthy mid-afternoon pick-me-up. Both sweets/desserts can easily be shared and after our excellent main dishes, we were happy to keep some for next day’s afternoon tea. If you are down by the shipyards, you simply must go and visit Larry’s – you’re definitely in for a deliciously creative vegan experience! Four cheers for Larry, the little vegetarian grocer that definitely could :-)

We were in North Vancouver this weekend viewing some places to live. I wandered into this market which was across from our hotel hoping they had vegan coffee cream for sale. I was pleasantly surprised to learn it is a vegetarian market with a large selection of vegan options such as grocery items, fresh baked goods, and vegan lattes ???? the vegan chocolate croissant was delicious as were the multiple coffee's I downed. The staff were all super friendly and provided excellent customer service!! We are moving from AB at the end of May and we found a place to live in N. Vancouver. I am really excited to have a market such as this, so close by!

Larry’s is a cute and well located spot- but they lack the “basics” I am looking for a lot of the time... it’s great to have a local entrepreneur etc, and healthy products but it’s too vegan leaning for me. I can’t even get basics for cooking. I only go there now if I need an onion or bread- something super simple etc. I’d spend a lot more money there regularly if they carried more options.

Larry's Market is a lifestyle staple if you live in the Lonsdale Quay area. The best thing about Larry's is the people working there. They provide excellent service, and are passionate about the products they create and sell. They also provide a great experience to shop there. They have amazing coffee and the food is fresh and amazing (I'm not vegan/vegetarian) and I enjoy everything they have to offer. I would highly recommend going to Larry's if your a LoLo local or visiting the area.

Still at the office so downloaded the app and ordered my groceries, got a phone call to say that the coffee I had ordered wasn't in stock would I like to try a substitute that had just come in. Got home, settled in and 30 mins later my order was at my door. What I loved the most was not only all my produce was perfect, it was neatly packed in brown paper bags with no extra plastic bags and neatly topped off with a brown bag labelled...Love Larry...a free pound of organic cherries! Nice touch. It was service with a smile all the way. For a small independent trying to make it through these crazy times Larry's Market has something that is working really well.

The shop and food are great, but DO.NOT SIGN UP WITH THERE POINTS CARD! A week after ive been bombarded with spam emails (multiple emails a day!) and phone calls. Ive had the same phone number for 15years and ive never experienced this amount of spam calls. Today alone ive had 11 spam calls in 1.5hours!!! They obviously sell your information. I use to go here and grab their pre-made salads and sandwiches. Since i signed up for this card im diagusted in their shop selling my information like this and i will never support them again

If you are in the area, check this place out! You will not be disappointed. The food is organic, sourced locally, healthy and simply delicious. The staff make you feel right at home and are quick to recommend the perfect thing to your taste buds. I have been in town for business the last week, and there was not a morning I did not head down to pick up a delicious smoothie, coffee, and breakfast sandwich/wrap. Selection, pricing, and customer service are top notch. Everything in my multi-item order was priced comparably to/competitive with elsewhere. So once you add free delivery(!!) for orders over $75 (especially in times of a COVID pandemic), I think the price point is unbeatable. They offer "same-day" delivery, and I actually expected that this wouldn't be possible in the middle of a pandemic. So imagine my surprise when I placed my order at *11pm at night* and then heard my doorbell ring the next morning at 10am!! I am sorry to hear that some reviewers expecting delivery within 1 or 2 hours feel deceived by the notion of "same-day" delivery; but seeing as how most other grocery delivery services during the COVID pandemic are, at best, offering 4-10 day(!?!) processing and delivery, I'm not sure how anyone can reasonably expect delivery within an hour or two or be dissatisfied with a delivery within 24 hours (which is very impressive, again, especially at their price-points and during a global pandemic). I am definitely impressed by my first order from Larry's Market, and I will surely order/buy from them again!

Do not order here if you want it delivered. Their 1 hour delivery promise is a total lie and their customer service will try to ignore that until you call them back to cancel 2.5 hours later, so 1.5 hour delay. And then they will offer you a partial refund. For the items I can get cheaper in a ton of places, and I only got because of the limit to make their fake fast delivery free. They cannot guarantee this delivery time. They work with Doordash. It is up to Doordash. They have nothing automatic in place to notify you if your order pickup is delayed. They do not inform you, they offer nothing. I honestly felt like cancelling the full order. Even after waiting for 2.5 hours they only offered the refund of the food items and said the order was picked up. But I did not even get the famed sms notification that it was. I will never ever order from them again or buy anything in the vicinity. The only reason I did not cancel the full order was because I think my husband could still use that sandwich. I will give away mine to the homeless. If only they had notified me when they saw the delay to say that it will happen and that they are not able to estimate when I will get it and given me an option to cancel or wait there and then. That would be customer service. Not this. First call 1.5 hours into the order. I ask for the estimate of arrival. Lady says, I dont know. Yeah, who cares. 'Should be any minute' she says. Lol. And 2.5 hours later I get the bargaining customer service offering to refund the sandwiches. What if I had not called? No refund for your false promises. They should not advertise one hour delivery and they should contact their customers when they see that there is no way their fake delivery will happen in that period of time. Edit: Actually, even if I had insisted on full refund, I probably would not have gotten it. The lady used language like: 'What I will do is refund you for the food items, because that was lunch.' Meaning their fake delivery promise costs them exactly nothing unless it is food items and you take the time from your busy day to complain. God. What a waste of my time.

Tried the cafe here. Service was great but food was disappointing. I know vegetarian food can taste great if done well, but this was just bland. Any chain store like Starbucks or Tim Hortons would have tasted better. Not worth almost $50 for a hot chocolate, 2 sandwiches and a wrap lol.

Went into Larry's for the first time this morning. The staff were very nice. There was once person chatting with a customer & still took the time to greet me as I entered the store. The 2 ladies behind the counter also greeted me & asked if I needed any help. When I was ready to purchase & mentioned that it was my first time in the store, 1 of them helped me with my choice and rung up my purchases. Through the whole interaction she was warm, friendly & helpful. I feel that customer service has declined greatly over the last decade, so when I see this example of exceptional customer service, I feel that it's important to let people to know :)

It took a PayPal dispute to get the refund for a canceled order. I ordered a couple weeks ago, early afternoon. At that time, they advertised 1 hour delivery on their site. While I didn't expect delivery within an hour, I thought I'd at least receive my delivery the same day (within approx. 6.5 hours) because I live about 10 minutes away from the market. By evening, it still hadn't arrived so I sent a DM to their IG and was assured my order was on the way. My order never arrived that day, and no one had the courtesy to inform me that it would be delayed. I was up later than I wanted to be, waiting for my order. Frustrated that they never bothered to contact me about my late order, I emailed Larry's Market to cancel my order and requested a refund. After a couple of days with no response, I filed a PayPal dispute. They never responded to the dispute either. Consequently I won the dispute and finally got my money back. If i didn't pay with PayPal, I imagine I would've lost a lot of money. I was appalled by my experience with Larry's Market, especially given how they present themselves as a small business with good values.
