They are a solid business that has been in the community for many years. Their customer service is very good. I have no complaints. They even offer to carry things to the car. They have all the perennials and trees, and shrubs, and ornamental grasses, and anuals and seeds and starter kits you would need. They have all the other gardening supplies, tools, soil, mulche, bird seed and houses. They answer the phone when you call. The staff know something about gardening. They are very nice too.

I shop here all the time and the owner is great. But currently he is away for 6 weeks and the accountant is in charge. I usually pay 5-10 on delivery but she wanted to charge double at 25-30. When I spoke to her she gave me 3 reasons why it wasn't the usual price : 1 they only have 2 employees right now, 2: the owner is away so they are down a person (this was actually her mistake to double state the same thing but she said it as 2 things so there it is) and 3rd was: she would have to use the box truck to send it over. I tried to negotiate a time when shed have more employees or maybe a shipment with others or if I buy more. And that's when i realized she needs to go back to school. As an accountant myself I know profit > cost of transportation and more products shipped at the same company cost would be more profit. So when she said she would charge more to move more, and complained over and over having one employee. Let me explain: i like 6 blocks away with no car, they would be gone all of 10 minutes and I ALWAYS help unload. Ergo: Until her behavior is reviewed I must rate the store lower than I would like. PS: I have a recording of the call, she was very rude, didnt want to spend any time to talk or work things out with me and interrupted me REPEATEDLY when I was very VERY polite to her language of choice.

It's nice to talk to people who know what they are doing. I went in and said I needed grass seed that grows anywhere. Got what I needed and was out of there in 5 minutes. Home Depot? 20 minutes minimum. And I would end up with the wrong product.

Great place and great staff. My wife and I were on our way back into town and wanted to get a plant we have been looking for for a while now. We called ahead to see if they had one and found they were already closing for the day. Matt offered to wait the twenty minutes for us to make it into town and had it ready for us.

Went to Burrows last year at the end of the season I was very impressed. Went back this year I was amazed. Never been to a garden centre with so many people to assist you. You have a question they have the answer. They have an abundance of plants no matter what you are looking for. And you end because I could keep on.
