Great customer service! Seaway Farms is family owned and operated so they take pride in their work. Everything you need from plants and flowers to outdoor and home decor.
Beautiful flowers and accessories. Helpful staff.
This year was my first time getting plants and my tomatoes and there prices are very reasonable I could believe it is will be continuing to use you guys from now on
(Translated) I have never seen such low prices anywhere. We bought a TANK of tomatoes for 10 bucks and without tax, it tastes good, only one was soft. Our salesmen would be bazaar, they would stuff all the rot on the bottom))) We scored a lot of fruits, vegetables and huge lettuce bushes right in the pots, all of good quality and can be said for a bowl compared to the prices of any grocery in Toronto. To know earlier about this wonderful place.
Great flower experience. They always have what im looking for and great selection. Bought some flowers for window boxes. I cannot wait to add these beauties. I love the great service, helpful staff and the variety of plants, there is always an amazing selection
Fabulous selection of everything you need to plan and develop your garden. Expert advice by staff really helps a novice like me.
A good variety and reasonable price point on boxed plants.
This store is a great stop for those looking for the basic vegetables. There are a few food deals, but I would like to see a wider range of produce. (Note: I went early in the morning so perhaps they hadn't put everything out yet - not sure!) The items I did buy included green peppers (a whole tray for $10) and some peaches. I appreciated that they had pre-wrapped items such as zucchini but I would have preferred a different packaging as it is really bad for the environment. They thankfully have brown bags for placing your produce in which are eco friendly. The staff were quite friendly, some also speaking Spanish for those who needed it. They inner part of the store had arrows to follow as well. Overall I'm glad that I stopped in for a few items but I wouldn't buy everything from this location.
Great process and selection
Best one, you can find any plants and vegetables in this location and seasonal fruit stand with best price!
Awesome
I came from egypt to see this plants
Nice place to pick up fruits and vegetables. You can buy small baskets or bushel. They sell peaches, grapes, black berries, pears, tomatoes, garlic and other things. Staff is always friendly and there is plenty of parking spaces.
Excellent choices. Fairly priced.
Great prices with a good selection. Cheapest prices in town
They don't have an appealing variety of plants. They stock the same varieties and colors you will find at a big box store. Really they are the same common varieties and colors you find in seed packets.
My go-to place in the Spring for all my annuals and herbs.
The quality and selection of plants early summer and late spring is great. Prices are reasonable and comparable with other garden shops. I usually buy my local strawberries here and I am always impressed with how good they are. Definitely one of the best gardening shops in Niagara.
Great place.. love the selection and how big the greenhouse is. Prices are good. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. The quality of the plants are excellent.
Nice flowers
Good value for the price healthy flowers and it seems to be the only place left that sells a 4 pack of plants for only $1.29 !!
Don't know why this place is so underated. I have been to most other garden centres in the niagara region and this is an abosulte hidden gem. The price is so cheap, there are plenty of plants to choose from. Other garden centres might have nicer/fancier facilities but that also come with a higher price. This place is a must visit for anyone wants a bargain and love plants
I love this place! I get all my flowers here every year and even buy my mother and mother-in-law gift certificates for Mother's day here. With the help of their flowers I won an award for my garden. Staff has always been helpful and prices are amazing!! Love the gift shop of unique items as well.
Friendly & helpful service. Beautiful flowers and fresh seasonal fruits & vegetables. You have to stop by if you are in the Niagara area.
Excellent garden selection and worth the drive.
I like to go to seaway farms because they have great looking plants at very reasonable prices. Other places in niagara-on-the-lake charge a lot of money for plants. Seaway farms is always friendly and well stocked. Keep up the good work guys!
Seaway Gardens provided beautiful flowers and centre pieces for an event and went above and beyond to make sure everything looked great. Highly recommended!
Worth the drive.
An excellent nursery with great prices!
Great place with alot of variety.
Wow...outstanding...wish I went here before I bought my plants at Home Depot and Canadian Tire. Their selection is amazing...quality is fantastic...and pricing is amazing!
Staff is amazing and they're setup to combat the plague is pretty great. I buy all my stuff for my veggie garden every year from seaway. Thanks.
Ok thanks
Just purchased a basket of peaches at my local Foodland Store from Seaway Farms. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that all of the peaches under the top beautiful 8 were HALF the size of the ones on top...not just a couple but all 8 underneath. So disappointed as a consumer to think they would try such a scam.
Great
I've been coming to this greenhouse for 10 years plus and couldn't imagine our community without it. What an amazing, nostalgic little gem to have in our backyard. Staff are amazing, plants are beyond this world. Selection is awesome, prices can't be compared and best of all memories walking around and trying to figure out what you want, last a lifetime.
Love this place .always fresh.great staff clean place..and debit yeah
(Translated) This place is very nice I recommend it. Like to come for a walk. (Original) Es muy bonito este lugar se los recomiendo. Como para venir a pasear.
Very good. Found everything I was looking for and more. Good prices also. Thanks
(Translated) Family farms, vegetables, fruits, flowers, there are many varieties in season, with good quality and low price. (Original) 家庭农场,蔬菜、水果、花卉,应季品种众多,物美价廉。
Lots of decorations and plants for the Christmas/winter season.
I have gone to this green house for my seedlings and other gardening supplies for a few years now. Friendly staff, great selection and reasonably priced! Covid safety measures present, I felt safe shopping here.
Great prices and good plants.
I was there the other day and purchased two "catnip" plants, which turned out to be catmint - you can't fool a cat! I discovered that it was not catnip by chance - I visited another garden centre, the Sunshine Express Garden Centre, also in NOTL, and realized the difference because they have both cat mint and catnip. I learned that cat mint grows taller and catnip shorter and denser, though both have the same leaf shape. I wonder how it is that a garden centre doesn't know this detail and mislabels a product? I'll be shopping at Sunshine Express - the place is a botanical lover's Dream Garden Nursery.
I Love this garden center, they are pleasant and very knowledgeable
Very nice place. Stopped on our way to niagara on the lake. Good prices and very fresh farm produce. So heartening to see. Lots of herbs variety of fruits and chilli. It's a real good stop on the way.
It's an amazing place to visit ????
I've come from Toronto for many years to buy my annuals at Seaway and I was always happy. I'm a long time experienced gardener of 53 years. I missed my annual visit for the last two years....but when I went this year I bought a couple hundred dollars worth. I was disappointed with the $11.99 million bells. I bought 6 for $66. and kept 3 myself and gave 3 to a friend. All the ones my friend had died within a week or two....and mine were struggling but I lot them to grow. Though after about 6 weeks two of mine mysteriously died....a few plants in the pot and just recently the third died. I was not happy. They are all sitting in the garage and I debated to drive in and complain. I don't need my money back so I thought it would be a waste of time and effort. We have now moved to Thorold from Toronto and I'm discovering many nurseries I like better. I won't be going back. The soil whatever was used was not right. The water flowed right thru it. My friend even sensed the soil wasn't right and transplanted but a little too late she said. Makes me have second thoughts about giving my friends plants as gifts. I did buy hundreds of dollars worth for the lady that moved into our place in Toronto and she reimbursed me for the cost but they were so healthy and thriving I couldn't believe my eyes when I visited recently. That;s where I'll go back for certain. The items I bought there are also thriving. I don't know if Seaway grows their own or gets plants from growers but something was wrong with the soil of the $11.99 hanging million bells.
I bought. Local fruit and veggies. In may, i purchased a variety of annuals and they look fantastic still today. Helpful very pleasant staff. Tks
(Translated) It's super good (Original) Está súper bien
We have been going to this nursery for years, everyone is so very helpful and pleasant. It is the best nursery in the area. It is somewhat of a drive for us but it is so worth it. They are also priced very reasonable. We always look forward to our many trips to this nursery in the spring.
Lots of selection, helpful friendly staff, beautiful plants!
I only went here because I was interested in buying produce from a "farm", as opposed to the traditional grocery store. I figured this place has "Farms" as part of their name, so what did I have to lose? Try my gas & time. Their produce selection is very limited. It's next to nothing really. Just some garlic, peaches, eggplants, cucumbers, etc. It's like the 7Eleven of grocery stores. It's a small LOCAL business, so if you're into supporting small local businesses, try them out. Myself, I need a much better selection of produce.
Thought the selection was of very poor quality hanging baskets were very drab but comparable to all other places, just don't think the quality is there this year very disappointed in all
Got baskets of nectarines, tomatoes, a varietal of Honeycrisp apple, kale, and other bagged veggies that need to be eaten soon, but still looked very fresh - it feels like you're shopping at a fruit stand - inside they have plants, but all produce is impeccabley organized in bushels and baskets and clearly labelled...quality for good prices...I fulfilled a dream of eating fruit at NOTL...I was just as excited about fruit shopping as sipping wine
If I could give this garden negative stars, I would. I believe the rave reviews are written and posted by the owners and their employees. Firstly, I went to this garden centre, mistakenly under the impression they sell garden flowers - all kinds and varieties of flowers. No such thing. They had a small handful of varieties of garden plants and A LOT of garden junk - mostly, fibreglass animals, pots and a countless array of doormats...who knew there were that many kinds! I did find two plants, each with two open flowers, that I really liked and decided to purchase. I took them to the checkout desk, where the cashier imposed her view that the plants I had selected were very difficult to maintain outside of the "nursery" environment and that the plants would be better off there rather than in the ambient environment of my home - remember that, these are garden plants that I had selected for purchase. Upon her insistence, I decided not to purchase them. The following day I thought, "how ridiculous!" and went back to purchase these same plants, only to find that all of the flowers had been cut off from all of the plants of this particular variety. I was shocked! I did find one plant that had one flower that hadn't been removed, which I selected to purchase. I went to the cash register to pay for it and advised that very same cashier, that misinformed me the day before, that I didn't appreciate what she had done and that I would have purchased both plants if they still had the flowers intact. As such, I purchased only the one plant - so I still got what I wanted, though I never expected to be misled/deceived by the staff. I won't be going there again - who needs the drama! I'm just grateful that the staff are quite sloppy at what they do and overlooked a flower on on one of the potted plans!!! All round - I got what I wanted, and the cashier had and awkward moment!
Great place to buy annuals and perennials. Excellent selection and good value.
A very big place with lots of options to choose from and the prices are very very reasonable. Staff are very helpful and they took necessary precautions for the pandemic. Has enough parking in front and there is a washroom inside too
In season nursery with plants and bushes of excellent condition.
I bought lots of floral plants for my front garden and planters today
Best place by far .
