Rotten Produce: Awful lines the limited item lanes are not enforced. They claim to have fresh produce when i walked into the stoore the other day i was appalled there were multiple stands of tomatoes that were all moldy and rotten with fruit flies all around even the lettuce had all gone bad. I went to Freshco yesterday... I'm tremendously disappointed... A majority of the produce like fruit and veggies as soon as you walk in the store is not good... Everything is more less mouldy... I couldn't really buy anything... The Freshco in Niagara Falls is way better then this one....

At the beginning of covid they were sanitizing all shopping carts and baskets. They no longer clean the shopping carts. Lately there hasn't been any carts at the front of the store and you have no choice but to wait there for a stranger to bring their cart back.

Worse experiance at a store first off the only store I have been to that you have to sanitize your own cart (after you put the quarter in and bring it over so you've already been exposed if its on it) there carts just randomly lock in the store there was 6 carts through the isles all wheel locked in the way of everything. I went in mainly for fruit and veggie platters and they had about 5 of each all completely moldy inside . So at the point I gave up I was disgusted . But there also was no arrows on the floor.

I don't know what it is but I have some kind of connection with this store the first time I was here I locked my keys inside my car and I was in such a bad situation when I was grocery shopping I realize that I was in big trouble. Then I realized that I had received a team on TD Visa card and that they offer free roadside assistance with that card. I called the number right and Robinson Towing came to my rescue right away. So anyways I've been going here for all my groceries as an Indian person they carry a huge selection of Indian groceries like karela and green chiles that we Indians use also paneer so no need to go to Patel Brothers anymore they also have Curry patta. They also have a special Mexican East Indian and Jamaican grocery section where you can get all the Most Wanted items. Another interesting thing happened which was more heart touching than interesting the manager the lady who has a record voice I forgot her name something with an L anyways she's really sweet so this time I'm buying my groceries and I am like a few dollars short not even like a few cents like I'm literally a few dollars shorts like three to four dollars and this lady completely helps me out I told her I I do not want anyting I will put the groceries back and then she literally put her hands in her pocket and paid for my groceries like people don't do that you know. Also the prices are the best compared to other grocery store

So, they don't line you up outside, but once you get what you need you end up stuck in the back of the store in a 60 person line up to check out with maybe half of their checkouts open ... Seems they should pull back on the amount they have inside to ease that line-up that isn't helping in an enclosed space during a pandemic ... but it gets people in there to buy regardless by reversing where the line up is making people think they can get in and out fast ...put the 4 items I had down and left ... In and out of Giant Tiger with those same items cheaper in 5 minutes.

This is one of the best stores for fresh produce,and bakery items regarding pricing. Great deals everyday on boneless skinless chicken beasts (2packages for $20)-roughly 8-10chicken breasts or 4.5-5lbs. Everyday! Also great selection of frozen foods and dairy products. One of the best things is that checkouts are quick. Bring a quarter for a buggie/shopping cart ????

Wow. No buggies probably due to people taking them to the building across the street. You need the ones that lock wheels so you can't remove off the premise. Also so packed. BE WARE DURING COVID. This store needs to get a grip on their policies and procedures during the pandemic. No one monitoring the flow into the store. The men doing the carts outside had no clue where the clean or used carts were/went, as I tried inquired where to put my used cart and they directed me to put them with the "clean ones". It wasn't too busy today but our cashier seemed to be in a rush. She was quickly scanning our items; some delicate such as bread, eggs, and tossed them onto the conveyor belt like it was nothing. She also let every item pile up instead of helping my wife who was trying to bag as quickly as she could by not having the conveyor belt move automatically, which would have been nice.

Produce looked poor at best and at expiration. Found expired mango juice for sale on the shelf dated July 24th and its Aug 19th. No baskets at the entrance and had to do the stock person's job and drag a stack of baskets from the cash to the front for myself and others. The cashier Courtneigh was friendly.

Well my advice dont go here if your in a hurray. Everytime ive gone to this store there is a lineup of 15-20 people at each cash..its obvious that they have the customers just not enough help...either train all your employees on cash including your men /boys that fill and stock...and when you get that busy u do a code for help at the frontline everone drops what their doing and opens up a checkout..or put in a self checkout!!!

i worked at this location for over 3 years, i left when covid hit, with sick members at home. I still go there , weekly, to purchase groceries. I am so impressed with all the people there....through all this covid mess, they have stayed open, kept the store stocked and clean and they have done all this steering clear of the virus (knock wood), Not because i worked here, but because it is the best value for your dollar, the best selection you can find , and steady consistent safety protocols that are designed to protect us and the staff, I will consistently recommend this store...:)

Have had many pleasant experiences with FreshCo in the past, but I am done with this location after my experience yesterday. Waited for a cashier to cash out my 2 items for 5 minutes (no others in line), employees around the check out isles stating it is not their job to cash me out. Asked if theyd be able to page a cashier, they said no. One finally rudely said she would do it. I realized my product had a hole in it, apologized for not noticing and asked if I'd be able to run and grab a new one, to which the employee said she wouldnt wait for me to do so and I'd have to wait for a cashier to show up...left the product and store and went next door to shoppers drug mart to grab what I needed instead. Definitely will not be returning and will not recommend to anyone I know.

Store does not seem to be limiting number of customers in the store. Very crowded. The line for the cashier wrapped around the interior of the store with only cashiers available. Very hard to social distance in these conditions. Will not be returning.

Went to get the freshco earlier to get a couple things and was asked to leave my back pack with the cashier. I shop here almost everyday and bring my back pack so that I don’t need plastic bags. When asked to leave my back pack I felt what he was really saying is ‘ I think you are going to steal’ really crumby feeling. I know they don’t ask women for their purses so I feel there was discrimination involved. The person who suspected me of stealing had a Walter white (breaking bad) tattoo on his forearm. Will be having my girlfriend all management tomorrow.

I mainly go to Fresh Co to stock up on rice milk because it's the cheapest I can find when it's on sale. They usually have pretty good produce but I have had some issues with this Fresh Co in the past. It was mostly problems with staff and lack of carts. I have had to leave this Fresh Co on several occasions because there were no carts available anywhere. It's been hit and miss for me but I will always go here for the rice milk.

Saw lot of unappealing and rotting fruit today and the freezer section (ice cream etc) always has a ton of freezer burn. The cashier Charlene was HORRID. You can tell she HATES her job. Wow. It blew my mind how rude she was to the 3 customers ahead of me and myself and customers after me. I will be avoiding this store in the future. I'm over it. Too many bad experiences.

I shop here frequently, few good deals and price is generally decent. They used to not to disinfect carts, but now they do. They put hand sanitizer at the entrance but not sensor, so everyone will touch that and is a way to spread the virus. Otherwise I do like this store for their prices. The thing with grocery stores is that you have to compare prices with others to see what is cheaper where. They used to sell green hot chilies much cheaper but now it is $12/kg which is extremely pricey. I will update if they fixed this issue about hand sanitizer.

The main reason I come here is because it blows away every other grocery store in terms of international spices. They have almost everything here. Hand baskets are a rare commodity here, though. What’s up with that?

I have been shopping there for 5 yrs. And everyone is really nice, cashiers may not always be in the greatest of moods all the time but look at what they deal with, us customers are not always nice,I've seen some customers rude to the cahier and yet they go on ,why is it ok for us customers to treat the girls like dirt but they always have to smile and be polite to me you get back what you give out.never really had a bad experience thereand they always have what I'm looking for.. everyone should realize the girls there deal with alot if your nice they are.

There was an employee with very short (buzz cut) grey hair and glasses, on quite a few occasions he kept coming within a foot or two of me while he was doing his job, he made no effort to social distance. He was also not following the direction arrows in the aisles.

Great indoor specials sometimes. The freezer showed out of meat that was on sale but cashier was sure truck just came in. She promptly brought me 2 packages . I felt as a valued customer and she went above and beyond her job description in this case. Love FRESHCO

Decent selection & competitive pricing, but one of their cashiers (Liz) is absolutely awful. The negative attitude she carries around at work makes shopping there a painful chore. I'm looking for another place now to do my grocery shopping at, which is inconvenient to us (my wife & I), as we've been shopping here for the past two years. It's a good supermarket otherwise, as long as you can avoid her as your cashier.
