Went here after a beer and wine tour for a work function and really enjoyed it. They had 3 cheeses to taste and they were really good. Their first cheese apparently won many awards and the taste reflected it for sure. Would definitely recommend for any cheese lovers.

This place looks like a great stop, but unfortunately the owners didn't update their business hours and when I showed up on Sunday they were not open. Would love to see inside and buy some cheeses when they are open. There is a parking lot right beside it for easy and accessible access.

The lady I unfortunately dealt with today seemed burdened by the few basic questions I had about the array of cheeses they had for sale. If you’re working and dealing face to face with customers part of your job is to answer basic questions to aid in the customers satisfaction of their purchase. Amazing place! Xavier lets you sample different cheeses before you buy them. You can choose simple cheeses, or try something you never thought you'd ever eat. Very knowledgeable about cheese and wine pairings. Shop also had various crackers, olives, cured meats and smoked salmon.

I tried Greak Goat Cheddar and Colby Hot Pepper today, both taste great! Greak Goat Cheddar is goat cheese with onion, Colby Pepper is cow cheese with some red pepper, I like both!

Cheese Secrets is my go to cheese shop in town. Thankfully I live locally and this gem of a store is a 10 minute drive away. The owners have changed hands recently, but the new owners are lovely people. The shop carries a wide variety of cheese including Niagara cheeses, Canadian cheeses and imported varieties. They also sell pingue meats. If you are looking for high quality items and wish to support local, shop here!!

Incredible service! I came in with a group of students, we are tourists visiting from Waterloo. It is no secret that students often don't spend big on luxuries, but the service was still incredible. The lady offered us tons of samples and seemed genuinuely interested in finding out what we liked and what we would enjoy. All of the cheese was incredible and in the end I bought some "Dark side of the moo", which was my favorite as a sort of mild and softer, but still hard cheese. I would absolutely go back!

Loved our wedding cheese cake from Cheese Secrets! Having had a wedding at a winery, what better way to enjoy the wine then with a cake made of wheels of cheese! Honestly, we were hoping for more leftovers but our guests went crazy for it! Xavier and his team were amazing. They met with us a couple times, we sampled what we wanted, they kindly delivered the day of and packed up the little leftovers! Just truly went above and beyond. (Our cake was smaller because we had a small wedding, but Cheese Secrets can design whatever you want, so flexible and easy to work with) Excellent product and customer service. We always visit Cheese Secrets when we come to Niagara On The Lake. This time the service was exceptional! Nicole got us everything we needed, from bresaola to foie gras and goat cheese, sardines and smoked salmon and she even managed to get some warm ciabatta bread when they were out of any other bread. To top it off we got a disposable tray and utensils for what turned out to be an amazing dinner! (We cancelled our restaurant reservation!) Of course we will return because they never disappoint!

I'm from Hamilton and whenever we are in Niagara-on-the-lake we stop in and stock up on our favourite cheeses. The selection is second to none and the staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. I wouldn't even think of going through Niagara without stopping in. Make sure you do to!!!

We stumbled upon the Cheese Secret quite by accident and were so pleased to have found it! The shop has some excellent cheeses and the service was wonderful! We left with a few cheeses and crackers, and enjoyed them with a lovely bottle of Niagara wine. If you love cheese, you will not be disappointed with a visit to this shop!

Super fabulous spot. The owner is more than willing to give up little pieces to try and there seems to be no end to the types avail. His knowledge of each cheese and the process that created it is impressive. Lots of other items to try as well (even smoked fish!!). A great place to head to prior to your next get-together.
