I like shopping at no-frills because of the prices. But when you go to use handicap parking to just running to get milk and I have a handicap parking and I had to park further away that made it more frustrating. Stores should be able to call the police take a photo of the car and send them a ticket just frustrating.

Most times finding NO NAME Brand is very difficult. Most produce is not very fresh. I was happy with a sale or two but most times I cant find what I need and the store is dirty but a couple of the staff make up for the mess. Some very nice people work there.

Great supermarket. Really recommend for other tourists to Niagara Falls like us since you can buy fresh fruits and veggies and frozen dinners. Short 5min drive from downtown Niagara. Good and cheap alternative to the junk food on the always packed tourist trap Clifton Hill

Store is total chaos since removal of barrier for cash line up. There was almost a physical altercation in the store last week as a result of this. Manager has removed bags at self check out and customers now have to ask for them. Awesome way to show customers how little they are trusted and appreciated.

I have found Milk (type I’m looking for) out of stock. No Silk Soy unsweetened, 3.25% Lactose Free. Used the bathroom only once, and no hot water. Reasonable stock and fresh produce. Not nearly as good as other No Frills I have visited and shopped at. Might be proximity to tourist area?

Jim's is a fantastic place to grab the essentials for a great price! If you are from the states you will recognize the resemblance to Aldis. I see people saying old...dirty...etc. The reality is the store is exactly what it says on the sign No Frills. We got a 24 case of water for $1.97 CAD. We look forward to shopping here again when we make it back to the Falls area! FYI the workers here are super friendly and ready to help with anything you need.

Always sketchy people hanging around. Product selection was good, customer service was lacking 100%. Had an issue and "cashiers in charge" were rude and dismissive. Regular cashiers apologized and attempted to resolve issue.

I'm surprised to find some vegan foods, although I don't know if there are organic foods there very often once I found organic tortilla chips but they don't stock them since they had the sale. No frills might be good for stuff on sale but usually when stuff like concentrate Lemonade or concentrate Orange juice goes on sale they run out in the early week and when I went back a week later and still no concentrate orange juice, now there is orange juice since the last time they ran out but still no concentrate lemonade lol. For almost a month a while ago I could not find any pulp free concentrate orange juice I think it was the last time they had a sale. I think smaller businesses buy lots and resell it for a higher price but it would be nice for No Frills to restock stuff instead of letting stuff stay empty for weeks at a time, and the concentrate juices seem to get less selection as well I remember picking our from more selection making me wonder if they will still sell concentrate juices if the selection gets any smaller, otherwise Id give this a 4/5 rating.

No frills belies some really good products at bargain prices. We picked up a bottle of maple syrup that sold in other nearby stores for $45 or more, but only paid $10 Canadian! So goodwe went back and bought another. Now I wish we had bought more!

This place was rude n dishonest . N is social profiling people who r in there on laundry day ,or even if ur dressed kinda bummy. They follow u around ,mistake u 4 some other guy that dose steal. They have accosted customers on more than 1 time that I have just witnessed. N they weren't doing anything wrong, But not dressed in nice clothes n has tattoos. It's the 21centry. N hes shops 4/week atleast spending atleast 50$-100 ech time . I cant stand watching it , Not Anymore!!!

I've changed my review from a 5 to a 1 star for a number of reasons. This was my go-to store previously but it has slid terribly in recent months. Inventory is at an all-time low, specials are frequently unavailable, the store is dirty, the cashier's are now unfriendly and too preoccupied with personal chats to even greet customers, stock carts litter the aisles making navigation difficult, produce quality is terrible (frequently shows frozen damage) and the list goes on. No one seems to care so enough is enough...I'll even drive to No Frills out of town rather than continue to contribute to this failing business.

it's a good place to have your grocery here it's also cheap than fresh co.. you can get almost everything here to eat from A-Z but they don't provide international food. i am always try to find ready to eat food of India but can't find anything related to that. all kinds of soft drinks and snaks are provided here you can also get chicken,pork and beef too.

I couldn't find something and a lady who was working in the diary or grocery(cant remember her name) stopped everything she was doing to assist me. Its in a good location with plenty of parking. The shopping cart needs only a quarter instead of dollar on other no frills. Staff is good and helpful but store itself is crowded. Too many things and less place to move around. Produce was okay and they had the things that were advertised for sale.

I see how the store is controlling the amount of customers going in but they are doing a very bad job at the cash outs. As I'm bagging my groceries there was another customer's groceries being put through the conveyor belt next to me. As I'm still bagging I have a couple trying to get around me, as I'm moving to maintain my 6 feet distance I'm bumping into another guy on the other cash out!! What happened to waiting for one customer to leave before helping another customer ? I understand that you want to put through as many people as you can but the employees need to maintain and respect social distancing of their customers. It's not only helpful but it's the LAW

Terrible produce selection that doesn't always look fresh. Tiny aisles that make it impossible to navigate the store with a cart easily. Floors always seem dirty. One time there was actually poop smeared in several places and staff was aware of it but in no rush to clean it. Also often out of advertized sales (not great at restocking shelves)

If you are a No Frills shopper this place is for you! It’s a huge store with a lot to offer. A lot of the cashiers have been there for a long time and are all lovely. No doubt about it, no matter who’s name is on the wall the quality has remained top notch. Dollar days are also dope.

This No Frills definitely lacks frills, which I thought was normal until seeing other No Frills that were cleaner and were not sold out of as many items. The store is small and difficult to navigate with a cart. If i'm shopping here, i'll try to make do with just a basket, because it greatly improves my ability to move around the store. The people working here have generally always been friendly, but that doesn't really make up for the other faults of the place. Often times we'll try to find reasons to go to St. Catharines, just to avoid this location. You certainly can shop here. There's nothing unsafe about the store itself, and i'll often pop in for a couple quick items, but if you're looking for a good place to do a full week's shopping, or want to be confident the items you want are in stock, you're gonna have a bad time.

This store is usually very busy and the specials disappear quickly. Although it may not be their fault, it can be somewhat frustrating. Otherwise, the store is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and with the cashiers plus the self checkouts, the line moves quick enough to keep frustration at a minimum.

I give this store NO STARS but I can't post unless one star is marked. This store NEVER has enough of the sale products in stock. There is no phone number to call to check to see if they have a certain advertised product. The only number is head office in Quebec and they won't look up anything unless you have the UPC code. Like we are suppose to know the UPC codes of the products. The store is dirty and old! I don't recommend this store to anyone!!!

Staff are rude. And vegetables aren't the best quality. Got cheery tomatoes and had mold on them. Cucumbers were soggy not crispy and in the fresh bagged stir fry veggies when I opened the they were slimy and bad... Not impressed with them but they are where I live so stuck with them.

We came here while we were in the country to pick up a few things that aren't available stateside. I can't say if this is common with all the no frills stores or just this one, but it was ridiculously busy. There were lines of people waiting to check out zig zagging throughout the aisles, making it impossible to even shop or look at the shelves. We can't imagine what the wait would have been to check out. We opted to drive to a no frills further away from Niagara falls, which while still busy, was nowhere near as bad as this one. The prices are great though, if you don't mind waiting.

Line ups are too long and slow.. they never have all the cashiers open, and there parking lot need to be repaired!!! Like potholes everywhere, slopes and cracks.... Hard to walk after parking especially having to use a cane and almost falling numerous times... You know from all the potholes and the fact that there's only a few handicap parking spots that are never free.. Having to walk from the middle of nowhere doesn't help neither.... LoL just sayinn????

Small Store with a very small but has al your needs. I only have them a three because the meat fridges were almost empty on Sunday and their bread selection was quite limited. Fruits and veggies were excellent

All the staff from shelves stockers, cashiers, parking lot attendants were ready cleaning carts, being polite and helpful while managing a smile and having a joke with us along the way. A lot of produce looked like it was starting to go bad. When I went they were busy, lined up almost the end of the store for the checkout. They had all the signs for distancing and were wearing masks, but no one was sanitizing conveyer belts, and they didn't even wait until the person was done paying before calling someone else to start loading their groceries up. You wind up within 2 feet of the other person to bag your groceries. All lanes were open too, so no distancing measures were being followed, and no sanitizing either. Store looked dirty as well, but honestly it kind of always does.

Don't wait in line like everyone else if you don't mind using the self-serve kiosks. They are quick when you need something in a hurry. I was there and saw about 12 or so shoppers in line while the kiosks were empty.

I was in there this am. Picked up what i needed, and proceeded to the check out, decided to use the Self Check out today and while i was using the Self Check out a lovely cashier by the name of CINDY was there. I realized at the end that i had given my bank card to my daughter. She went above and beyond and assisted me by taking me over to a register so I could pay with cash. Her service skills are beyond 100% !! Her smile, her demeanor, her positive outlook. No Frills is very lucky to have such a wonderful employee like Cindy !! Today was the first and last time I have ever went there. Thought I would stop after an appointment in the falls and wished I hadn't. The cashier was extremely rude to everyone she encountered. Store was ok. People drive like maniacs in the parking lot. Never again!

The only reason why I am giving a 3 star instead of 4 is because of the wait time in line, if you happen to go later in the day, you should expect to spend at least 20 minutes in line as they rarely have more than 3 or 4 staff on cash. The staff are friendly and the store is clean, produce is good, they have a great selection for grocery shopping, they do carry some personal grooming products but do not have a big selection.

Where I love to shop cause I always feel like I'm getting a good deal on everything (prices are the lowest anywhere especially because of price match). The workers are so kind and friendly too, especially Tony, that place is so lucky to have him. He knows almost each customer by name and even though he's doing his job with a great sense of pride, he quickly finds time to greet customers with a hug and a great big smile. What you see is what you get-NO FRILLS. Produce was OK, not awesome but it's not a fruit market. I wouldn't do my regular shopping there, but for some odd and ends or if you're in a pinch it's pretty convenient as they seem to have basically everything in a clean, organized store.

I work with adults with special needs, the staff here at no frills are always welcoming to all. One gentalman engages in conversation with every individual who i have been there with. Its really admerable!!! The service is fantastic. They wait on us to speed shop to get to the closest to the P.O. limit.

This use to be my main store to go to. Things have changed, the last few times in there the quality of fruit / vegetables are really disappointing. If the item is on sale it is fresh otherwise you are looking at bruised, spoiled, produce. For example today, cantaloups, honeydew melons were horrible. Looks like they have been sitting there for awhile. Mushrooms were all browned and bruised. Really disappointing, I had to drive across town to another grocery store to pick up my assorted fruit. Seriously, take an inventory at what the fruit and veggies look like. Would you purchase them looking like that at regular price?

Great grocery store. Unfortunately I went there today, I do know times are tough but the security guard today was extremely rude. I am not a criminal and I don't need to be told multiple times to get up against the wall.she is not a cop and I was following 6 foot rule. This was 6 months ago. Now adding a update. So to add to this I tried going back the other day. The checkout people were not wearing masks, so I asked a manager who was very rude he said they don't have to, I said but they are handling my food he then walked away. I don't know his name but hes a older bald guy. So 6 months ago they had rude staff and still do.

Store was organized and clean. Lots more people now that the lockdown is over, but the staff made sure there was always sanitized carts for use. The checkout lines also moved really quickly. Many of the shelves seemed to lack product, especially stuff I was looking for, but that could be because of customers going though or because it was stuff on sale listed in the flyer. Overall a good grocery trip though. Was my first time there, and I would go back.

I bought two items that were in the same fridge and looked the same. After paying, I scanned through the receipt and noticed the prices were different. So I went back to the store right away (3 minutes later) and asked a cashier, who told me that the other one has more food in it. I didn't notice the slight difference until then, and asked for a refund but was refused due to the current covid-19 situation. Not pleased.

One of the top 3 grocery stores that my wife and I shop at in Niagara Falls. Quality products at a reasonable price. Haven't had any issues with their fresh vegetables or fruit in the 9 years I have been going there. Plus they price match with their major competitors.

Friendly, polite, helpful staff. Prices are good very clean environment. They will go the extra mile to help their customers. Great job everybody. Regarding some of the negative comments by very few, if you having a bad day or experienced a misunderstanding address it right there and then address it politely. These staff are risking their lives daily to provide us with the necessities. Dont paint so many staff with one paint brush. We all have good and bad days. Put your selves in their shoe.

This no frills is a very busy location for such a small grocery store. There is always line ups at the cash registers. Prices are cheap but food quality is poor. Shelves are always stocked and the staff are always friendly. At this location they have selfcheckout witch is alot more convenient.

I always enjoy shopping at Jim's No Frills, however today I was charged 15 cents for 3 plastic bags. I didn't ask for bags and I didn't use their bags. The cashier didn't ask me if I wanted bags. I used my reusable shopping bags. I didn't look at the receipt until after I got home.

Huge lineup for cashing out, meanwhile the self checkout lanes were all empty. However the lineup for the 1 cashier on a weekend was blocking people from getting to the unused self checkout lanes that nobody can use. Why put the only open cashier on the 1st cash instead of the one at the end. That would free up the self checkout access. My advice to them.

No Frills, has got to be one of the worst stores around ! Their very unorganized, their shelves are usually empty or half full, the place always seems to be a mess and you can never find everything you need. There really is no need to shop at No Frills, especially when we have a better selection of great supermarkets in the Niagara Region. I highly do not recommend shopping at No Frills!!!

What a place! When you get past the potholes in the parking lot and avoid all the scooters and taxis picking people up, you will realize that they are sold out of all the items listed in the flyer...and no...don't even bother asking the staff there unless you are looking for an eye roll. Except for the big guy in produce...he looks mean but he is extremely nice and helpful.

Rude staff, long lines to check out. Now if you have a cart you can't use self-checkout lanes. It's like they hate their customers. Do yourself a favour and go up the Lane to FreshCo or over to Food Basics where you will be treated with respect and have staff that are actually pleasant to talk to.

Went in Niagara Falls we always go to this no frills. It has a lot of great in store specials. The store is in a perfect location where it is not too busy. The parking lot is always spacious so you can get close to the store. The staff that work here are very courteous and very helpful. The cashiers will also help you beg your items when checking out. This is a very friendly store that gives you a good customer experience

Went in and shopped for an hour no sign on the door or ANYWHERE that said Mastercard debit and cash ONLY get up to the register with tons of groceries get it all ringed up and she says they don't take Visa. What kind of place takes one credit card but not another? Very unhappy with my visit! They weren't rude about it and didnt make me put the groceries back but still their could be a sign on the door or something.
