I've been a regular customer here for over a year, and will never go here again after what happened today: it was the most rude customer service I've ever gotten. A lot of the products here are written in different languages. I went in to buy some fizzy water, and grabbed a bottle on the shelf. I wanted to check before I bought it: the owner of the market ensured me that the bottle I had picked up (Russian writing) was just fizzy water, so I purchased it. When I opened the bottle, it wasn't fizzy water at all, it was salt water (apparently a popular Russian drink). I went back to politely let him know it wasn't fizzy water to exchange it, and the owner of the store got incredibly defensive and tried to insult me, saying that "if you didn't understand the writing, you shouldn't have bought the drink". He then went on to angrily explain how he couldn't give me a refund or exchange because of COVID-19 (this makes no sense). I gave up trying to ask for a refund on the bottle and left the store. I'm a huge supporter of local businesses, and have been a loyal customer of Victoria Hill Market for over a year, and never have I been treated so poorly. This owner just lost a regular customer over a $2 bottle of water. If you want to be respected by the person who's business you are supporting, go elsewhere, not here. Edit to respond to owner: That doesn't make any sense - I only bought the product because you ensured me it was fizzy water. How would I know what it was to return before opening? The only reason I left this one star review is because of how rudely I was treated, I couldn't care less about the $2.

Tried to help my friend pick up a package left by UPS here. I was given a letter from my friend with all the information (personal information, reference number and tracking number). The store still wouldn't allow me to pick up the package. They asked me to come back with my friend's ID (not photocopy or picture of the ID, must provide the physical ID). Not impressed.

Absolutely horrible service. They cancelled our Uhaul rental two hours before it was due to be picked up, saying that they did not have the vehicle ready and had no alternatives. The woman on the phone stated the reservation was only made that morning, which is completely incorrect- it was made on the previous Wednesday, for Sunday pick up. She then hung up on us.

The new management of this store is excellent! They have so many different items in the stock including fresh veggies and fruit with good prices. They have even brought in items people have requested from the community. There are nice tables and chairs outside with umbrellas in the courtyard and the store is clean. So convenient and the people are super friendly!

The owners / staff are very friendly, We are always greeted well especially by the young lady behind the counter, she is super nice and always has a warm inviting sense of customer service. The perfect little neighborhood market, fresh produce, fully stocked shelves with canned goods and fridge section with meats and cheese. This is a great little one stop shop in our quite neighborhood within walking distance. BONUS!!! they have dog treats you can purchase on an individual bases, so when your walking your pet he too can have a snack.

Pray your package isn't sent here. Now on TWO occasions I have come to this location to pick up a package from UPS, and despite what the tracking information says, this location claims they didn't have it. Most recently we were notified that our package was at this location on monday. My wife came to pick it up on Tuesday, with the staff insisting they had no deliveries on Monday. DESPITE UPS HAVING A SIGNATURE FROM THEM THAT THEY RECEIVED IT ON MONDAY. The manager of this location then proceeded to lie to me, saying they instead received the item late on Tuesday. Clearly this is not an isolated incident as it has happened to us TWICE and there are other reviews here that have the exact same experience. Why are you a UPS access point when you clearly don't care about doing that part of your job? Edit: My response to the owner- I have been in communication with UPS for days now. They investigated internally and are insisting that their system information is correct. Feel free to give me your email so I can forward you my conversation with them.

I should have referred to the latest reviews of this establishment, particularly the one that spoke about how important it is to support small and local businesses. I have visited this market twice in the last week, in both instances the cashier tried to charge more than what was advertised on the shelf. I chalked up the first case as not being able to keep up, but this happened again with a can of soda marked as $1.19 on the shelf, and the sales clerk saying it's $2.22. Why bother pricing your products if you are going to arbitrarily change the price at the counter and the last time I checked that goes counter to standard business and ethical practice. I asked the sales person to call her boss, who told her to charge me the $2.22. I voiced my complaint, then tried to pay with cash. She takes the cash then realizes she doesn't have correct change, and then tells me that I have to pay with credit. When I tell her I don't have a credit card on me, she should round down or else get change. She tells me I should know better that it is COVID. Seriously....! Customer service and treating your customers with respect keeps them coming back. Two times is two times too many. I don't recommend this market, and will not be going back EVER.

Once again this place has utterly failed as a UPS access point. On 3 separate occasions they have denied access to our packages that UPS insisted were available and ready for pickup. They do not honor the UPS hours posted online and only staff that could not perform UPS duties. On one occasion they had packages strewn across the floors and in between aisles, creating theft and safety risks. If you look at there reviews, they argue rudely with any negative feedback. I wouldn't trust them or their business with an empty envelope let alone a valuable package. I do not understand how UPS allows them to continue representing them.

Terrible experienxe. Worker wouldnt give me my ups package even though I called ups right in front of him and had already shown my correct id. He was rude and not helpful especially trying to explain himself as being right. Don't buy here!

I am regular customer of Victoria Hill Market and it is nice place in neighborhood to buy daily grocery, dairy and frozen product and much more. They are having wide range of products and availability of those products. The most important thing which I like about the shop is their satisfactory customer service and friendly staff , always greet you with extra smile.

They weren't open at all when I went there Monday September 9th 2019 to go pick up a UPS package. There wasn't any notification on their website either saying they would be closed. If you're going to be a UPS access point, you should have consistent hours and scheduling, especially since UPS asks people to ship back packages that haven't been picked up in 7 days (in this situation even though its because of your business decisions that I couldn't get my package, that still counts as a business day.) I wasted 2 hours of my life traveling to your store to pick up my package, but couldn't pick it up due to your irregular hours.

A perfect little grocery and convenience store for those of us within Victoria Hill. Several other owners have occupied this space but Victoria Hill Market is my favorite version of this convenience store because they have almost everything you'd find in a large grocery chain including milk, bread, veggies, meat etc... And they don't overcharge you!!

The female employee/owner (Victoria) has been rude to me on several occasions. She will inappropriately laugh or make judgemental comments during my visits to this store! She doesn't seem to understand customer service very well. I feel her unprofessional behavior deserves zero stars but unfortunately I need to leave one star in order to post this review. -- OH look a reply! And how snarky too! I had to remain anonymous because this lady slandered me to a neighbour in this area (my business, my English, etc.). She snoops on my social media pages to see what other information she can get about me. And all of this slander occurred prior to my review. Very unethical! Maybe this is why I shop at Walmart (to avoid such terrible customer service)! Tsk, tsk, know that we all talk to each other in this neighbourhood and we know that you think you are more superior than all of us.

Great little corner store. The family that run this place are so kind and sweet. They have tons of fresh produce and their drink selection is on point. You can find drinks from the state's and even Asian drinks. Prices are good too. Any time I've gone in with my kids the husband always strikes up a conversation with them and makes them feel special. It's nice to see a family running this place and their kids are so sweet. If u live in the area make sure to stop by you won't be disappointed.

If you are living near by or are passing nearby somewhere, u should visit the mini market for sure as it includes all the essential stuff u need.
