i have to say that great wall tea has completely exceeded my expectations and every tea i bought (i got 4) is soo good. I donno if this was just an aamazing batch or what, but these teas are just so delicious, and comparing them to silk road, westholme teas, davids teas, and your run of the mill tea brands like tetleys, the teas great wall tea is selling are soooo dambbb good, so kudos to you guys !!!!!!!!! I almost left Great Wall Tea before I even got to enjoy it. Then Bahar cut into the conversation I was having with another employee. She was an absolute delight. She literally could not have been more helpful and was so knowledgeable about her products. She let me smell three different teas before purchasing (I got all of them), and went above and beyond my expectations of good customer service. Don't let her go! I am sold on this place. Organic and non-organic teas with different sizes that can fit any budget. The teas I brought home to brew were delicious, and she spent the time to write the country of origin and the preferred steeping time for each tea. Wow. Bahar, you made my day.

Great Wall Tea feels like it could be a classic sitcom hangout, up there with the cafe from Friends and the pub from How I Met Your Mother. The ladies who work there are invariably welcoming and knowledgeable, the wall is mesmerizing, and the tea is delicious. When I first dropped by, I was still under the impression that I would never like tea, but their cream earl grey converted me. To this day, it's still my favourite of all their blends.

This is a gem if you are looking for great quality tea. I tried many earl grey tea wherever I see tea shops, this place is the only tea shop that has the double cream earl grey that doesn't leave that bitter almost sour taste from over processing the tea leaves. It's such a little shop that I would pass by, but the aroma of their tea was so fragrant that I had to stopped and sniff! Highly recommend this tea shop for their quality. I will definitely make my way out there for more other ones to try. They have a good selection of black, green and roobios! Even their earl grey roobios is very tasty with the right balance of fragrant and richness of roobios.

Update: I’ve been coming here for more than six years and ordering large quantities of my favourite tea to use in making kombucha for at least four of those. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful and I hope I can continue to buy tea here for many years to come. Old review: I really, really love the wall of tea. The teas themselves are also quite good, and I appreciate that they don't charge extra for soy in their tea lattes.

Great Wall Tea is the sweetest little shop with amazing staff and absolutely wonderful, fresh teas. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, and the tea is very well priced, being a lot less than big tea chains such and davidstea and teavana. I also especially love their commitment to naturally flavoured tea, because they told me that one of their suppliers started putting artificial flavours in the tea so they stopped ordering it.

Wow, what a gem in the New West quay! I bought the Provence Rooibos and the Toasted Coconut Rooibos and they are both my new favourite teas. Highly recommend the Provence Rooibos for those who are avoiding caffeine and miss their Earl Grey! The staff (I’m sorry I forgot his name!) was super helpful in finding me delicious new teas to try. Definitely coming back here! Highly recommend to any tea enthusiasts.

Awesome place to get loose leaf tea. They also do single servings. The staff is helpful and really great at recommending teas. The only thing that could be improved is the parking. There are maybe a dozen or so free parking spots in the underground parking but almost every time I go they are all full, and no one seems to leave if I decide to wait 5 or 10 mins. Even so, Great Wall is a favourite of mine.

Ever since places like David's Tea and Teavana closed their stores, it's been a challenge finding a place that offers unique teas. This place is great and the service is exceptional. I just wish they could open earlier during the day so I could get a tea on my way to work in the mornings.

I ordered a bunch of teas as Christmas gifts a couple days ago and they were delivered right to my door this evening...so quick! I bought myself a mini size of the honeybush just to try it, and now I wish I had ordered the larger size because I love it!! I'm always looking for a good decaf tea and don't like the flavour of rooibos - the honeybush is much milder. I'll be buying more for sure. Very happy with my order and with the service ????
