Arnies has a really strong selection of smaller, reasonably priced plants available this summer! Their offerings are diverse, so you can also rent a uhaul here.

Avoid! Very poor experience. Scheduled to pick up U-haul at this location, I was phoned a few days beforehand to confirm and notified me they would be closed and I could pick up online. Showed up at the set time and was unable to complete the process. Phoned customer service for assistance and was told that Arnies Grocery failed to complete the process on their end. Was redirected to BMG Auto Repair on Braid street. Go there instead

Kool little joint. Family owned and operated. They have the usual stuff, milk, pop, cigarettes but no newspapers? Weird? They close kinda early and also rent u hauls, yes that’s right... They’re on the expensive side but hey, they are a convenience store they gotta make money too right? Very nice family . Parking out front free!!! Gotta like that !

I can get inside with my walker but it's too big for the aisle. The great thing about Arnies is that they will go and get anything in the store for you and bring it to the counter. The owners are wonderfully kind and helpful and will bring in almost any product that you need (within reason). I'm so happy to have a local market this nice.

Arnies is a gem. It's just a good old fashioned corner store that still manages to thrive. It's nothing fancy. It's a little shabby even. But it has what you need in a pinch, it's open late, and the family who runs it is WONDERFUL. It's the heart and hub of the neighbourhood.

Always well stocked, always friendly staff, and if you get lucky you might run into a cute cat outside. Their flowers are also lovely. Overall an amazing corner store, gets you what you need, and the family who runs it is so sweet! Great job.

Interior&Architectural Design

Rented a uhaul from this location. Guy gave me the truck at 1/4 tank . I returned it with the same amount of gas. He accused me of driving much further than I estimated and said I would be charged 30$ for not returning the same. Outrageous and petty. I’ll never go back and do not suggest anyone giving their business to this place unless you want to get ripped off

We call this shop on our street “the inconvenience store” as they open so darn late. Usually about 10:00-10:30 am, every day people are standing waiting for them. Not a convenience at all :-( They are lovely people and do all they can to expand their business - now they have become a garden center. The UHaul rental they offer also congests the neighbourhoods parking quite a bit which is concerning as they are not permitted to do so
