As you know, we do not usually stop to place reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Fruit Store belongs to the category of Farmers' market.
Awesome place to get local foods and other products. Wether only for a snack or the weekly groceries, I can always find what I need to eat delicious food! There is a wide variety of produce, meats, cheese, breads and pastries, etc. The atmosphere is otherworldly!
I go here every week for fresh local food. So many different shops! Always ends up being a great afternoon. Parking can be crazy... I park a block or more away. Plan to be on your feet, inside and outside.
Segregationists, promoters of forced starvation by limiting access to essential resources and discrimination based on medical staus. Do not support this market.
I do not support their decision to ban people based on their own personal choice not to take an experimental jab or to not share their personal medical information.
I think the smooth parking is great for people now and the vendors are almost back to normal sales
I am an emigrant and I like this place. A wide selection and variety of cheese, fresh seafood and smoked meat, trinkets and essential oils - all of this you can find here. I'd say this place creates a certain atmosphere of the city. Local residents, made by their hands souvenirs and treats, freshly prepared coffee, it is definitely not just a market for me, it is immersion in culture and traditions of the city. If you're interested, you must definitely get here.
Since they discriminate against people, we will not support them. There are better places to shop.
Great selection of stalls from local farmers, baskets and crafters. Many of the stalls seem to be cash only, but there's an ATM on site if you don't generally carry cash. Always a nice atmosphere, a buzz of happy people.
Great farmers market, one of the highlights of New Brunswick. There are lots of great food options and many great artisans and food places inside the hall. We really enjoyed the local goods and would highly recommend a stop to the market if you're in the area.
I have been to a few concerts here and find the layout to be kind of awkward and too dark. Also would love to see one of the smoothie vendors be open during at least part of the night to have a non alcoholic treat while enjoying the show.
I love going to the market, love all the crafts, the booths selling produce, eggs, cheese on and baked goods. Way to go!
Lots of space to wonder around outside. Inside is a bit more congested, but expected at a market. The food options outside are great. All the vendors are friendly without being pushy whatsoever. I went with my 5 year old and we loved our outing. Pictures of a bouquet purchased while there.
Open from 7am-1pm ( covid hours) instead of their original opening time of 6am. Honestly was my first time going since covid and it was absolutely wonderful! So many vendors and we only did the outside portion. Food we purchased was delicious, and while it was busy it didn't feel overly crowded which just made the experience even more enjoyable!
This place would not allow us in becuase we do not have the vaccine. Shame on them ! Shame on them for treating canadians this way! We will never shop here again as all canadian should not shop here anymore.. they have violated our rights and freedoms and have taken part with the government to violation our charter of rights . Our family will never give them business again . U should not either !!!
Great place. The OJ was so good! Great people Great spot. There was this one lady Connie Wheaton the owner of "House of Art" she made some very nice post cards and paintings. When you go you need to check her out!! P.s. she takes cash and card ????
If you like to same local culture, produce and get a feel for fredericton, then you need to make a stop here. If you like the old town feel and atmosphere of Niagara On the Lake, the you are going to love where this market is situated. Arrive early if you want to park close, but we found the walk through the fantastic neighbourhood. The vendors have excellent wares on offer (from fresh produce, meats and cheeses to art in metal paints and wood) all spectacular, very fairly priced for a farmer's market, and a definate must stop while travelling.
Great market and great produce! Many places still cash only though.... don't forget to stop at the bank, service charges are steep!
I applaud the FBFM for standing up for public health and safety! You can shop there with confidence that they care about you and the community.
A great selection of indoor vendors and outdoor vendors. With hand crafted goods, fresh produce, cheese, meats and more. Outside food trucks on site, covid distancing but no masks required. Would definitely recommend the market for anyone looking to get out and support local business. Will visit again. Delicious food!
Have fun to find parking here. Everything is under construction. The majority of merchant take only cash. Not found anything exceptional.
Great place to visit! Crafts! Fresh produce! Baked goods! Cheeses! Best of all truck food galore!
Support local! A large variety of stalls selling food and handicrafts, availability depending on time of the year. Parking can be tricky depending on time of day. If you arrive late it is better to park at further away and walk there. It is better to arrive early and arrive hungry!
Always a unique and fun experience. Everything you need in Fredericton is right there, and it makes downtown a prime destination. Pick up an orange juice, some fresh veggies, cheese and meat. I also live seeing the budding entrepreneurs, and am excited that more art and creative vendors are being added. A must see for your Saturday morning in Fredericton!
Communist establishment baring unvaxed from food to live. I wouldn't shop at this place.. They hired 2 bouncers stoping people and checking QR codes. They even said no to my fully vaxed grandma because she doesn't have a smart phone or QR code printed. Very very totalitarian.
This farmers market has discriminated against other for their medical decision and has segregated the public. It’s very clear that they don’t respect human rights and it’s a disgrace what they’ve done.
Love going to the Farmer's Market. Try the Donair or Souvlaki at one of the food trucks, delicious.
Visited here on my stay in Fredericton during my East Cost Trip. The market is open only on Saturdays. Plenty free parking in nearby office/work buildings. Fresh vegetables, fruits and plants available. The meats looked fresh and well priced. A lot of snacks and juices available as well. Interestingly only fruit smoothies and no green smoothies. Wide selection of natural products and trinkets as well. I bought some NB grown garlic back to Toronto.
Whether inside the hall or outside in the open, on Saturday a must visit. Local shopping of quality food and veggies. Have best coffee in New Brunswick within - at Special Blend Coffee Co.
Absolutely absurd and inhuman to require the pass! I can’t believe that there’s people that cruel in New Brunswick!
Wide variety of fresh food. However, the place is small and crowded, especially on a Saturday. The parking was full, but it's free.
Great market with lots of local vendors selling veggies, meats, cheese, crafts. You can find really nice jewelry here too. I have always loved going and having a lunch there. Really good food and attentive staff. Fyi if you are looking for good prices organic meats this is the place!
I have never been, but any grocery store/food market that voluntarily implements a vaccine passport is one you should never shop at. What they are doing is absolutely horrible and it’s discrimination. Please consider boycotting if you support human rights at all.
Discrimination at its finest. way to separate the people. I hope your communist ways serves you well. If you think the government with stop there! you're sadly mistaken... they will come after you too. Tyranny is not to be accepted. Your fear will eat you alive.
Unfortunately, this business has opted to require proof of vaccination from their patrons, despite this action not being required and despite vendors not wanting this to be done. They chose to do it, thus alienating customers and further contributing to the divide in our province. I will not spend my earnings at a location which does not respect us all as equals; that forces segregation. It's very sad that this attitude is in our small community.
Meat, chicken and eggs here for cheap. The meat is neatly packaged and worth more affordable compared to sobey's and Walmart.
Horrible market that believes in tyranny and segregation if I could give - stars I would . Stay strong NB , stay strong Canada , stay strong world .
Your business ethics are immoral and I will celebrate the day your doors shut permanently. Not before you face justice for the way you have contributed to the destruction of this once great Country
Almost full inside. Many vendors have returned. Great variety of crafts and produce.
Best market in NB hands down! Both options of having a bite or buying local produce outside or find some fresh coffee and orange juice inside, everyone is always friendly here along with clean bathrooms on site. Samosa stands outside usually have a line so show up early if you wanna grab your favorite. Opens 6-1pm. Buffalo sausages are a staple here and definitely check out the new Oat cakes stand outdoors super good and great prices ❤

Breakfast is served up on site, either inside from the restaurant or outside in either of our Food Alley where it’s falafel sandwiches and buffalo burgers galore. The Food Alley can be found by entering at the Brunswick Street entrance point.
Denies families food by requiring v-passport. Disgusting, I will not support any business that discriminates. Shameful
0 stars. They are enforcing medical segregation... this is not about health, it's about control and your qr code vaccine passport. Wake up!!!!
I loved walking through here and seeing all the different items people were selling. Great food and artesian products. Good produce and local farmers goods (includingbaked goods, fudge and maple syrup!) Something for everyone!
Love this market. It is packed with people each Saturday for good reasons. Fresh produce, food vendors and handcrafted gifts etc.
Great place for all fresh veggies, meat ,cheeses, breads ,jams ,jellies ,maple syrup ,mini donuts and sooo much more . DEFINITELY will be going again.
Things are started to look like normal again at the market which was really nice! Lots of people there again. My thing to get there is by far their freshly squeezed orange juice!! So good!!
Lots of great local produce and artisanal wares. For the inside section, there were too many people to be able to safely physically distance (given ongoing COVID-19 pandemic) so that was unfortunate. However, the outside section was great.
Lovely place, lots of variety of booths. Great place to support local businesses!
When it comes to who and who can't shop for necessities, it's no longer about health! Pickup and delivery are options, but it's only a matter of time before it gets more and more difficult for people who've made personal health choices.
First visit to the farmers market. Getting parked took time but worth it. Lots of vendors selling an array of goods. Bought steaks, was able to pick the ones wanted. Good value. Tried the veg spring rolls, 6 for $7, were still warm and came with homemade plum sauce, delicious.
Busier today but most people were distancing well and some still even with masks so we weren't the only ones ;) picked up donairs at Ritchie's today some good!!
Everytime we go to Fredericton we always make an effort to stop in. The homemade crafts, the food and the fruits and vegetables are always great. The atmosphere is also a plus however make sure you bring a lot of patience! Lineups are long to get in and at some of the vendors.
Promotes segregation. You are disgusting!!!! Every single person that is involved in this - karma will be real. Shame on you!! You would have really fit in in Germany 1940s.
Obviously not true Canadians, they support separation. To deny someone based on their vaccination status during these times is truly pathetic. Passports have proven not to work, so many vaccinated people getting sick with Delta and Omicron the numbers continue to climb in settings where only vaccinated are allowed. I am not an anti vaxer, half my family is vaccinated. I believe in choice like every other vaccine I have taken. This one is not for me yet anyone vaccinated or not is allowed in my home and my business. Shame on you for allowing this to happen.
Given that business owners have been given the authority to choose if they wish to implement a V Pass for patrons. I am extremely concerned that you as an owner have decided to treat Canadians as Lepers. Starving your customer base is something that is certainly not very Canadian of you. Segregation and Discrimination against a persons informed consent or not, is their personal right to choose. Not Yours. I will not be contributing to your establishment moving forward, it is shame that the vendors and your customers pay for your mistakes.
Great food and so many wonderful local products all put together in this great market for the public..
Absolutely disgusting that they think they have to right to stop people from getting groceries because they made a choice to not be vaccinated. I really hope people boycott this market.. You do not have the right to do what you're doing shame on you . People please stand up for your rights
Wow! I have only been here once and will be back. What a lovely market with so much to see and all sorts of artisans. If you like local food and art come and visit and bring some cash!
Having just read your vaccine policy (and yes it is yours entirely as the province have given you the option) I am disgusted and angry at your complete lack of humanity!!! In no way are these new rules going to ‘protect’ anyone!! Fact: treated people can not only still contract and spread the disease they actually have been shown to carry higher viral loads. So you are essentially endangering More people because by doing this it negates the need to distance and just allows more wallets at once in the building!!! Shame on you for blatantly choosing money over people!!!
Took the family here, plenty to offer from fresh produce, gifts, carvings, cheese curds, fresh juice, coffee, etc Highly recommend checking it out. Some places only take cash, however there is an ATM on site. Will visit again
