Usually have some good sales , place is usually clean and organized. Pretty sure you can only pay with cash or debit , no credit cards atleast not my Visa, so sometimes that can be inconvenient.. sometimes there isnt enough cashiers on during rush hour times, I've been there a few times and had to wait in line with my groceries for atleast 15 minutes.. but usually it's pretty good.

Like this store a lot. Has advertised specials in stock at the beginning of each ad. Availability does decrease with # of days into an ad so get there quick. Staff are very helpful in assisting with finding products. Charges $ .05 a bag so grab a box (up front) or bring your own. Store is clean, well laid out & produce is right by the entrance with the carts. Note: bring a Looney to get a cart, you get it back when you return your shopping cart. Plenty of Handicap parking spaces available.

Great prices, decent selection, the yellow color and decor are a headache to look at. Also, I get wanting to keep carts from being stolen but I've left more than a few times because the carts require a looney to unchain. A lot of folks don't use cash during this pandemic which means no cart unless you have planned ahead.

It can be hectic and at times it does not always have what you need. However, the store manager is totally approachable on stock ideas and it's a great source for international food products. A sizable part of the city's immigrant community shops there, which is a good sign to me.

2nd day of new flyers and didn't have any butter; found only 2 boxes of smart fettuccini, no macaroni. No Welch's Grape Juice. But did find a few other items. Cash out was busy but got through quickly. Pleasant cashier. Shelves were bare in several areas although there were lots of boxes in the isles. Maybe be a little more prepared with your sale items.

Good experienc overall. Really like the check out process. Very efficient and you don't feel rushed. I know I would buy more if I didn't have to pay a loonie deposit for the cart though. I always forget a loonie and end up using a little hand basket to make my groceries which limits what I can pick up.

Drew & Jens No Frills . Is the only no frills in greater saint john area. Recently they have upgraded a lot of interior which gives a fresh look. Most of the daily use items can be found here. I wish they can add some more Asian ( Pakistani and indian) grocery items especially spices and other day to day use items . With more options in Halal meat beef / goat/ lamb will be a plus of the place !!! Online order and curbside pick up I wish would be available in nofrill too.... Excellent and friendly staff always willing to help.

No Frills gets a rate of 9/10 today. ????. I wanted 2 or 3 pkg of Half can Canada Dry Ginger ale and there was only one. I expect it could be on delivery truck. No Frills is clean, efficient, friendly and very well stocked. I marvel at all great variety of choices for a smaller store. I love this Store.

I have many disabilities that limits me and having the electronic shopping cart gives me the opportunity to go to this store. I have been told by 3 different occasions after I'm done with the cart to put it back where I found it. There has been only one person out of all your employees that has ever asked me if I needed assistance and her name is Mary whom I would like to say thank you for your simple kindness

No Frills is a very frequent stop for me. I like the layout of the store and I am able to find all the items without having to ask any help. Big shot out to the workers at No Frills who are going out of their way to make sure all rules regarding Covid-19 are followed.

Hard working owners and staff. Obsessed with COVID-19 safety for everyone. Friendly and courteous. Definitely the nicest and best run No Frills I've shopped at coast to coast. Stock shortages are the only issue and the beer and booze section is a waste of space 2 minutes away from a govt liquor store.

DO NOT SHOP HERE DURING THE PANDEMIC! They are trying their best but it's awful the arrows are confusing and it feels very forced walking around the store. If you need something quick and you know where it is then you shouldn't have any big problems other then poor customer service and subpar products. Better off going anywhere else.

I went there many times, customers have to wait for 20-25min for check out. Today 20-22 customers were waiting for checkout just like other days. They have only 3-4 cashiers jumping from one station to other (feel bad for them), obviously working too much. I just talk with one guy (bald 2021/02/27 3:25pm) who was directing customers to station, he said “no one wants to work here and you can leave from that side”. I didn’t buy anything from there.

Usually decent prices, they tend to go up a lot on some things though, selection can be hit or miss especially with their meats, sometimes dealing with their staff can be a huge pain. One of the biggest issues though is they don't seem to prep all too well for big sales. Overall though I'd say I do enjoy buying from No Frills and I would recommend it, not anything amazing but they're nowhere near bad.

Just to be sure I searched the entire store and am fairly confident that, as advertised, there are no frills in the store. I must caution you though, if you use your optimum points, make sure they are on your receipt, I had a very hard time trying to get mine after the fact. Other than that the store is hunky dory, I shop there often.

As a new comer to NB i am sadly disappointed in this location. I was a regular at NoFrills in Dartmouth, NS and enjoyed produce that was superior in quality to Sobeys and Atlantic Superstore. Prices were great and the staff was super friendly - despite the new covid complications. The produce at this location is not great. But the reason I am giving up is the rudeness of the staff. Out of the 4 or 5 times I have visited I have experienced poor produce selection and quality, and poor service, including staff not obeying the social distancing requirements.

This is certainly a store to avoid as the staff that work there are the most ignorant people that I have ever seen . Today I witnessed two cashiers screaming at a Senior Citizen because she went to the wrong cash . It was certainly a very disturbing incident ; at least three other customers who also witnessed it left their groceries , and walked out of the store in disgust .

The only problem that I have is reaching some shelves I am only 5 feet and I always buy Ice-cream and of course my favorite Ice-cream is way in the back and on the top shelf so when that happens I can't get any so I have to go to Walmart to get my Ice-cream.

Staff are rude. Shelves are never stocked. I was in on saturday and was charged for an item i only requested a price check on.which was $14. Called to get money back and still havent heard from the manager. The staff informed me it would be tues or wed before i hear back. This is unexceptable. 4 days when they have the time, register i was at, the cashiers name and reference number on my reciept. Very disappointed.

My elderly mother was recently in here. The staff were not wearing masks. In one of the aisles there was a staff member stocking shelves with a ladder. The staff member stood back so my mother could pass but did not give six feet. As well my mother would have had to negotiate her way past the ladder. She had to tell the staff member she couldn't get by her in the aisle as there was not six feet. The staff member insisted my mother could pass. My mother had to tell her again there was not the necessary six feet. The staff member reluctantly went to the end of the aisle. Still didn't give six feet at the end of the aisle. As my mother went by she heard the staff member say "ridiculous". Shame on the staff member and no frills for employing that person!

Only downfall is that the international food is all throughout the store...not in one location and their carts cost $1 to use for shopping but when returned you get your money back but I never have change on me when I go there.

I was there at noon on a Saturday. Two cashes open, huge line ups. The store is dirty, out of a lot of product. I always say I will never go back, but the prices draw me in. Then I always end up leaving angry because of the poor service, cleanliness, and product out of stock.

I dread going to this store. Have to pay $1 for carts and they took away the cart returns in the parking lot. You have to bag your own stuff which is annoying as heck when other people are getting jammed around you because they hurriedly ring you through. Their meat and produce are dreadful most times and I havent had that many pleasant cashiers serve me. I've had a couple get annoyed because I had price matches or coupons.

Horrible costomer service, this pandemic is going to their head, when a worker hollers at an old lady because her mask fell below her nose, I asked them if they were police officers and why they think they cam speak to people like that, which was followed up by a young guy behind the cash trying to act tough. I am always pleased and happy to shop at this location ! It's great service and well rounded in great ways ! I was there today and I noticed the arrows you have and am understanding because of covid 19 ! I'm not used to that as most probably are not ,but there is worker down there who gives me unwarranted attitude down there and seems to thrive on it .I get Id for beer and I'm 38 ,and nobody does it but her ! I really have no complaint of great concern ,but she better quit it .I realize following the arrow is the approach taken but if I get yelled at by her over getting carrots something will be said .I will not go in detail because it's fair to address management first .

Great for sales on canned goods and good prices overall on non-perishables.If you like to stock up when things are on sale watch there flyer. I have had an issue returning bad meat here and I had an issue with rotten apples so I refrain from buying too much fresh food here. You have to pay 5 cents per bag which I would be in favor of if they warned you, however they ask how many bags you want and add to your bill without telling you.

The selection of food is good. The store is a perfect size. Not too big and not too small. They also have a good variety of choices.

I shop here weekly, good prices and selection for the budget conscious shopper. My visit today was exceptional considering the current situation. A security guard was on duty at the entrance, monitoring the number of people in the store. Shoppers exhibited little panic and were mindful of others, keeping their distance. Jen and Drew, you are doing a great job!

I enjoy shopping at Drew & Jen's No Frills. I dont like line ups but I guess on payday that is expected. I recommend No Frills for the service & price.
