Old, dingy corner store. Family run. Too much stock that never gets sold. Sells expired and old products for discount. Staff isn’t friendly nor are the customers that thrive in this neighbourhood/ store. Thieves coming in and out. Pretty sketchy place all around

Has more selections than most convenince stores such as produce, eggs and frozen foods. But I felt misled with the name, I thought it was a full on grocery ????. Nice ppl and parking is spacious

Owner cooks the roast beef sold in the deli section (for less than most chain stores) himself, and it is the most luscious roast beef I've ever had. The sub sandwiches prepacked in the cooler are made daily in the store and simple but very good. They can also do you a sandwich to order for prices comparable to Subway. The breaded pork cutlets in the freezer the owner also prepares himself,breading and all, and are a fantastic deal. The staff can occasionally come across as gruff but they deal with a lot of trouble in the area and tend to focus on safety and detecting potential problems rather than obsequious customer service, but I find that refreshing. I'd rather have an honest 'grump' than some poor soul being forced to be "friendly and engaging' by their faceless parent corporation. It is a corner store, and of course things are priced a bit higher because they don't have the power of a buyer's group that the big chain stores have, but it's a neighbourhood corner grocery with nearly everything you'd need.

This store has great prices on most of its stock. Basics are no more than .50 cents a piece the breaking-up-of-a-Costco-pack price. More than fair.

I've lived less than 1km away, and never been. With the last dump of snow, I decided to walk here rather than drive to my regular supermarket. Decent range and pricing for a convenience store. Very clean and tidy. And decent looking produce.

I've lived next door to townsite grocery for ~8 years. For the first 5ish years, the experience was hit or miss (to say the least). More recently though, the new owners have put ALLOT of love into the business. New freezers, AC, Front counter, just to name a few upgrades. They often carry niche snacks and beverages (which is so much cooler than purchasing domestic products). Friendly, family owned store that reminds me of the corner stores of my childhood (penny candies ring a bell?). You can feel good about your purchases, not only are they reasonably priced, but you know your money is helping real human beings (rather than some soulless corporation). TL;DR - Awesome store, give them all your moneys!
