This is my go to place for BC VQA wine with a great selection and prices that rival even the winery. Craft beer selection is excellent as well and the staff are great and points system actually gets you dollars off frequently. Every time I'm in town I make an effort to get here.

Very nice atmosphere. Much more high end than most BC liquor stores with a good selection of products. Our particular interest is craft beer and Riesling wine and we were impressed with the variety of both with many bottles and cans that we did not see at the other Nanaimo liquor stores. The store is fully accessible although maneuvering through some of the aisles may prove challenging for any in wheelchairs. There's a good parking lot with easy access from the main road. Lucky's will be a regular stop for us now when visiting Nanaimo.

Great selection of the local British Columbia craft beer, several shelves as well as a chill selection, could be the best local selection on the island. Good selection of the various other beer, wine and liquors as well. Staff was knowledgeable about the local beer and also answered my questions about the imported beer, of which they had an interesting selection. They also sell chips as well as cocktail mixes and sodas. Close to grocery store, drug store and restaurants. Over I’ll have to give them 5 stars for their selection of beer.

Staff are very helpful and have good product knowlege, able to help you find wines quickly. They offer free sample taste-testers and so we were able to discover new favourite wines easily. It's a usual stop for us here now every time we come from Calgary. Recommended!

Amazing craft beer selection! I just moved here from downtown Vancouver, where I thought I was spoiled for choice, but Lucky's has both a great selection of local options as well as rare specialties like Deschutes Dissident, and import seasonal six packs from Ballast Point and Sierra Nevada. Loads of fresh hop locals too right now, including Longwood's 40K session (delicious). They also have a good points program and draws (at least every time I've been from August till now in late November) for random goodies ranging from beer merch to mountain bikes.

This liquor store is in Country club center/mall in north side parking lot by Island highway. It has very good collection of wine, beer, whisky, rum, vodka, brandy, gin, and many other alcoholic drinks. On the partial mezzanine floor of the store they have many classes scheduled, including cooking and wine tasting events. I am not sure of their price ratings.. PLEASE be aware that all alcoholic beverages have adverse effects on health and life if not consumed responsibally.
