I have become a regular shopper here and really love ALL the great customer service and the array of products. The store is very clean and well cared for. Other than the great personality, quality & and service, the biggest reason I keep going back as they stand within the guidelines of human rights and freedoms. Any store that does not I do not give my business too.

Best Place for good natural products, oils, ask and they will do their best to accomadate , special orders etc,I have shopped for 6 years. Good Point system, always a nice reward surprise. Staff all wonderful, knowledgeable. My first choice to shop for Natural Products.

I would recommend this place to everyone. They had an excellent selection and great prices - I found everything I came for. The lady and gentleman that helped me were both friendly and welcoming. In response to others who have posted that their Covid restrictions were not "tight" enough, I am very appreciative that this store recognizes and honours personal health freedom.

I shop at Charlie Brown's Health Foods in Nanaimo every few weeks because they carry items I can't find anywhere else. But I am questioning whether I should any more, because that store is not taking any serious precautions for COVID-19. No masks. No hand sanitizers. No cleaning of surfaces. No shields for staff at the counter; no covers for the debit/credit machines. No enforcement of social distancing. Their only nod to the guidelines is to have customers enter and exit by the same door. I've been advised to tell them I won't shop there any more, but how is that going to change their practices? I am baffled that a health food store would be so cavalier about this.

My mum originally discovered Charlie Brown's and now I shop there for my family. Fantastic prices, excellent selection, and staff are always happy to help. Since we have moved down island, we will be including CB during our Nanaimo trips. Thanks guys for this store!

Super solid selection on bulk organic non GMO foods. The points system to accumulate money off future purchases is awesome and allows you to save a lot of money quickly as opposed to places where it's pretty much pointless (pomme market). Some things are a tad overpriced in certain regards. The selection of hard to find ingredients is great at Charlie Brown's and the staff is always friendly.

As a doctor this is one of my favourite places to refer people for wholistic help. My wife and I often shop here too and regularly enjoy conversing about the myriad of wonderful high frequency options the store has to choose from. A Nanaimo gem.

Won't be back. I've gone pretty regularly and have done so since it was located in port place (harbour park) mall but in recent years I'm constantly left disappointed, I've had issues with buying expired products, recalled products, never any apologies or remedy, nothing. This past year, the one woman with scribble tatoos going on about her refusing vaccines someone was the final straw. Sad to see it turn out this way.

If your vegan definitely don't go there. There staff didn't know the difference between vegetarian and vegan we ended up with non vegan supplements. And when I just called they didn't apologize or anything. Horrible experience and we will never go back. There's a few good places you can go in Nanaimo.

No obvious signs of Covid 19 precautions in this store. Staff not wearing masks and there were no barriers between them and the customers. When I questioned this practice, I was told that "masks are harmful" and that "Doctor's" have told them not to wear them". This is a supposed health food store. I will not be going back.

First time at Charlie Brown's. Great experience. Helpful staff. Clean organized store. I was looking for hair colour that didn't test on animals. Found it.

Any place that calls themselves a health food store should no better than to have a live culture (even if its dehydrated) for sale that is 8 MONTHS past its "best before date". I wanted to buy a kombucha scoby. When I mentioned to the staff that the one I was interested in had a best before date of July 2018, she just shrugged. I will never shop there again.
