I came in today and was surprised by the service I received! As someone that is very new to the legalization I was hella leery of the prices I would see and the knowledge staff would have. They answered my questions with a lot of patience lol! I walked out with an ounce cheaper than what I usually pay on the streets too.

Locally owned and operated. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who took the time to listen to my various questions about edibles, and oils. Quality with the licensed producers keeps improving in my opinion. Will return to shop for sure!

Edit: since writing this, the service has gone downhill! Their stock is alright, but they're fairly speedy and unfriendly. As a legacy user they had me but lost me. Would recommend for a quick stop but if you're looking for attentive service I'd say go elsewhere. It used to be clean with a well-taken-care of fish, but the fish is gone :( OG review: Great location, friendly knowledgeable staff, such great customer experience!! I've been going as long as it's been a weed store there and it's the best in town by far for price and vibe! And the most recent trip, they gave me a total of 4 free shirts, and I didn't spend a huge amount either!

I have my own little side biz where i make salves and epsom salts and other infused goodies. I find its most affordable to come to 19 plus cannabis. The staff are always spectacularly friendly and usually know im coming in for "my tinctures" ... this place really makes you feel at home! I highly reccomend popping in to see andi, kirsten and the guys!

Purchased a vape pen for over $70 and the battery was completely dead on it, rather than exchanging it they told me there is nothing that they can do. Do not shop here, there are plenty of other shops that stand behind products they sell. Overpriced as well, much better deals to be found elsewhere.

I don't usually post reviews but I thought I would give a warning for any socially anxious individuals who smoke weed. I don't look like I smoke weed and I came in 10 minutes before closing knowing exactly what I wanted. I waited in the store for almost the entire time while other customers didn't know what they wanted. I was threatened that if I didn't decide in the waiting room I wouldn't get anything because they were closing soon, like I said I already knew what I wanted. I was forced to wait on others and treated like I know nothing about marijuana by a man who was covered in Tattoos (nothing wrong with that, I am also covered in tattoos, just want you to reprimand this). The other "conventionally attractive" woman who knew nothing about weed and forgot her ID took the MAJORITY of the time and got treated like gold and with patience. I will not be going here and do not recommend it as there are a significant amount of weed stores in the area that will treat all customers with equal respect. Edited for clarification: I had no problem waiting due to the Covid-19 Pandemic I even went out of my way to have my ID ready and decided what I wanted (and backup options) before I came into the store (this is common for people with social anxiety). I had no problem waiting and being prepared, he had a problem waiting for customers as they were closing even though as I said it was before closing. Given the hours are not open late, I would say it was a tad bit of an aggressive approach. Please feel free to contact me for more clarifications.

So, out of curiosity I decided to check out Nanaimo first legal dispensary, and I'm glad I did. It's still a new shop so there isn't a whole lot of selection strain wise but I suspect that will change as time passes. The owner is very knowledgeable, hospitable, and is more then happy to answer any questions. The THC product I ended up purchasing was packaged well and remained fresh. I do wish they'd post their phone number. Aside from that, it's a good store, with reasonably priced products. I hope it gets the love it deserves.

I like how the company kept with the old Nanaimo area vibe with the stores decor and feel . I've been to a few stores in Vic and 1 in Courtenay and I feel I'm in a Apple store and this Nanaimo store suits me better . They had a good selection of products and the staff were friendly. This will be my go to on my way up and down the island

Im from out of town and recently stopped in for a visit to grab a couple of pre-rolls and the staff there was overly friendly and helped me find the perfect pick! Nice people, but their oil product is two years old (produced on Jun 2018) and not worth the money. No effects whatsoever, all strength was gone out of the product, and no refund nor replacement product offered. This is bad business.
