Where do I even begin. I was a student at Université de Moncton for the year of 2016-2017. I moved from the province of Quebec to study in Moncton, New Brunswick. Naturally it was a very different environment for me and in this period of uneasiness the store owner helped me in a completely situation-changing way. After searching on google, I finally found a store that was suitable for a person of Indian ethnicity. As I walked into the store I was met with a warm and welcoming smile along with a completely clean modern-looking shop(something which is not naturally found in Indian Grocery Stores). All the aisles were properly stacked with different types of exotic spices and a variety of ready-to-eat products. With a heavy heart it dawned upon me that this was going to be my reality from here on. However, much to my delight the store owner, knowing I’m a Muslim and only eat halal, referred me to a private and family-run catering service(Aroma Catering) that was fully halal and run by Muslims. This was a life-saver and from there on they provided me with my regular food. Now what is crucial is that the store owner despite knowing he will lose a regular weekly customer referred me to another service. This shows that not only is the store run by a brilliant owner but more so by a beautiful human being. Now, I’m back in Montreal but still remember his act of kindness. Thank You. Overall, it was a well maintained store with a variety of products and amazing costumer service.
