This Fruit Store is classified in the category of Grocery store.
If you want to eat fast, healthy, nutritious, organic food for you and your kids come here. It may seem pricey at first, but the health benefits are huge. Their organic coffee is great tasting and free options to add almond milk, coconut milk, 100% maple syrup, tumeric and more as condiments.
Huge whole foods. Large, organic vegetable market and grocery isles. This location has a great selection of ready to eat hot foods. Hot and cold sandwiches, gluten free pizzas, hot and cold salad bars, muffins, croissants, little cakes, cookies and gelato. Free trade coffees and teas, and a great selection of Kombucha. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There is a dining area with tables large enough for families, as well as free Wi-Fi.
Great meet up spot, especially for picky or sensitive eaters. Good spot to hang out. Must try the Tumeric/Ginger tea at the coffee bar!! So delicious!! Ample parking even at Square One. It was a little chilly in the sitting area, I think the door was open a bit.
My favourite food market. Also they bake tasty organic breads, always one day fresh... And amazing ricotta . They got cool buggies, very maneuvering and convenient - I love this feature! Can buy some organic food cheaper than in other stores
Found a piece of napkin/paper bag/or some similar type of paper product in my ham and split pea soup. Really disgusted... Please make a better effort with your food prep and cleanliness. :(
Pretty good grocery store. Upscale and pricey last time there.
Good selection of green washed product for the upper class of Mississauga but it’s a little windy in here. Bring your wallet!
They are well above market price for almost everything they sell. But if you value great customer care and an amazing healthy environment to shop, this is your place. I'm always dreading to go to Walmart and looking forward to my trips to whole foods. There's something about the energy in that place that's truly buzzing. They have the best sheep yoghurt in town. I'm probably the reason they're always sticking more of the stuff. It's not cheap at 5.99 for a small square container but well worth it once you get a taste. It's called Baa. Also their non-homogenized cream top milk is the best ever. There's a deposit for the glass bottle but who cares. I love this place and it's my local shopping place.
Prices are on the expensive side however, selection and product availability keeps me coming back. One of the few places that has Organic meadow products! Edit The pizza is delicious! My new go to pizza place try it on Tuesday special slice price 2/$6 Update 2018 several of my previous pizzas have been hit or miss with burnt crust.
I LOVE WHOLE FOODS, I shop there because they treat humans, like humans, they respect you. They show you LOVE, and I am all about LOVE...the fact that their pizza is the best thing to almost going to Naples, is also not a bad thing. These folks give so much LOVE that their food, their people are well beyond beautiful...these are beautiful people.. And I continue to come here. This place is DELICIOUS fresh, and very very groovy!! I AM IN LOVE. Also great bread, deserts, and yes their Roman Tuna, is amazing..miss the breakfast buffett, hopefully the buffett will be back..:)
Floor plan is nicely mapped out and employees are helpful with navigating you to the right isles
Good quality but very expensive. Also, they sell items that really make no sense for their value (e.g. asparagus water)
I have never seen better cleaning during Covid. You can see from the pictures I posted that the Carts are actually washed and they wipe the conveyer belt before each customer. Also, the grocery carts are the smoothest lightest carts I have ever used. A real pleasure shopping here....of course you pay a premium because it's not No Frills and they can be out of stock of some things. They have a nice natural soap section. Expect a lineup outside to get in because they are great at following the pandemic rules.
Good fresh food, a little expensive for my budget...
Great staff and super friendly. Strucj up a lovely conversation with the florist and cashier. Very inviting. Clean and neat.
Love the buffet options, especially the Dahl and curries that they have on there. I'd love to see more vegan options on there. We drive an hour to get here a few times a month just for dinner or lunch. The service is always great and the lines move quickly so never much of a wait time. Love the new mochi ice cream too.
Love the buffet but be careful if you have allergies. I took some chicken and ate it, then realized cheese from a different bin was on the chicken. The cheese was white so it was not noticeable and made me sick. Otherwise, great selection of healthy food especially for those who are on a low carb diet.
I like the extensive selection of alternative and natural products. Food from the buffet is fresh and tasty.
Went in today with a friend to have lunch. After lunch we stopped by at the coffee counter for coffee. There were two people ahead of us that were served and they left. When we came up to the counter, the lady at the cash register went over behind the coffee machines. We waited for a few mins and we were still not tended to. Realizing that we were not going to be served anytime soon, and my friend had to leave, we started to walk away. However, I had to bring it to the ladies' attention, still behind the coffee machines, that we were not served. I did do so loud enough for everyone in ear shot to hear. Terrible customer service or is this selective customer service????
Prices are insanely exaggerated compared on other health stores everything is 2 or 3 dollars extra on top of the original price! Customer service is awful! So not worth it and also only generic items are organic but the rest you find them cheaper at Walmart and also being organic. Also the natural health supplements are insanely expensive compared to other health store like healthy planet are the same exact item 30% cheaper. So this store is a definite NO!
Not my kind of place - a lot of plastic-packaged items that detract from the whole "organic and good for you" image they promote. You want real, organic, family raised meats and veggies? Try the Mennonites or any local farm. The place had that "high-brow fru-fru" feel...lots of people wearing $800 boots and $1000 jackets trying to get their "I'm helping save the planet" badge.
This place has a variety of items and always fresh. They have a great variety of breads and cheese. I first heard that then items here are pricy but I don't think that's true. They are totally worth the price we pay for it. The fruits are not only fresh but also tasty. We thought we would just visit once but we didn't have to think twice on visiting again.
Lots of delicious food selections, high quality products. Gives bonuses for amazon prime members!
Expensive but worth the quality.
Good or even great selection though still expensive. At $78 per kg for salmon I will be purchasing a fishing rod and boat. Still love this store. Xoxo
Absolutely the best supermarket by far. The classiest store there is, so pleasant to shop. I always find something new to try. Great layout, nice displays of everything you will ever want to buy in a supermarket. Very clean and well organized. Wide selection organic food, meat, fish, vegan and vegetarian products. Ice cream is delicious especially salted caramel. Great selection of cheeses. Variety of breads, sandwiches, ready made food and numerous interesting drinks. Cakes look like artwork. Nice to get tasty coffee from coffee counter and browse around. Produce section offers organic veggies and fruits. Hot/cold table offers a variety of tasty food and many appetizing salads. Compliments to chef and kitchen staff for preparing mouthwatering, delicious food. Exceptional customer service, courteous and helpful. It’s always a pleasure to shop in this classy, beautiful supermarket.
Good location, good costumer service. Location though ensures its continually busy.
This is my local Whole Foods and I am NEVER disappointed ... Only by my bill, lol.
I love wholefoods .... i drive 15 km to get mil from there... full fat whole organic cows milk ...not available at most otger places.... the only thing is that it is expensive
Very expensive , but worth the visit. The hot foods bar is what stopped me from giving this place a 5/5. I’ve noticed the last month or so that the hot foods selection has gone down in quality.
Whole Foods Market my favorite place for fresh flowers n bakery
Customer service ladies were bare helpful they sorted out the mandem for sure
I love this store and could spend hours looking at their merchandise which is all organic. A bit pricey but purchased several items that I had priced in other stores and they were priced competitively.
Ordered a chantilly cake for our event. Isabella from the bakery was very helpful and patient with our custom request. It was a hit with our guests. Thank you
great employees with really good food with affordable prices will go back for sure. good place to get some work done i know it sounds weird but with surrounding you would stay there for hours
Really like this place. I shop selectively though. I don't think it makes any sense to do your whole grocery here. I pick items that I know are better quality here to supplement my usual groceries. Also they have delicious gelato here. Used to buy the passionfruit one by the pint.
Quality had dropped in recent years the hot table for breakfast especially is very dry and watery , the cost of the food as gone up but the quality remains the same, things need to be better and more affordable for the growing population
you can find different choices of healthy food. love the soups also. Although it is overprice I still go there as both me and my 2 years old son can dine out together and have healthy and fresh food. totally recommend the place to families with young kids.
Amazing customer service! Everything you expect from Whole Foods! Bakery is also amazing!
I love this location so much! Everyone is so friendly is and the food is amazing and the entire place is always clean. I don't grocery shop here but I love coming for the hot counter and baked goods frequently!
Overpriced, much cheaper at a farmers market. Food is good though.nice store great staff just waaaay to expensive for the average person especially during this economic downfall
Super healthy, lots of options and a great place for someone who may be a picky eater. You get to see everything as you chose your meal from the salad bar and although it can get expensive it may be worth it in order to get lots of nutritional items. I also like that they have reusable bowls and plates which if you use you get 10 cent discount.
Friendly staff with lots of natural organic goods and fresh meat to buy!
I've been going to this location for about 7 years now and by far is the best Whole foods compared to other locations.
Well organized store. Could have better selection of fruits and vegetables
Truly a great shopping experience. I would recommend. The only downside is that the food is little pricey.
If you want the best fresh veggies and fruits, Whole Foods is the place to go to. My wife and I love coming here to buy our weekly fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, and eggs. The diversity of options they provide is amazing. It is always a …
I love whole foods. I've been going to this location for years. Its always clean, staff are always pleasant. Wide variety of products that you wouldn't find anywhere else.
Best service around, clean and organized. We love this whole foods location!
If you are looking for certain foods to accommodate your lifestyle, this will generally be the place to find it. It is a large grocery store that is clean with a large assortment of "healthy" foods. Of course, it is overpriced for items that are generally sold at other chains, but there are also unique items that cannot be found elsewhere in Canada. I was disappointed to find that out that the butcher does not sell grass-fed liver or any organ meats of any kind. Surprising considering how nutrient dense this is! The bakery also does not seem to have any gluten-free cakes available aside from another brand sold at Fortino's that is loaded with sugar and other chemicals. Also, their hot food bar is a great option for grab and go food because they list every ingredient inside each dish, but they seem to cook everything in canola oil. That seems to contradict the lifestyle they promote! Despite these strange findings for a so-called healthy grocery chain, I still try to drop by at least once a month (and I'm driving in from Brampton) to load up on some interesting finds.
Nature's Emporium is much better. Overpriced and less variety in comparison to Nature's.
My experience was really bad and frustrating, when I was at whole food near square one location. There was a lady working behind Deli/cooked food counter on Tuesday 16 June evening around 7 pm and she was so rude and pushing me for picking my food order quickly while I was maintaining social distancing from other customers who were in front of the salad bar. And when said to her that wait a minute She got so upset and angry that she stopped taking my order and told me to call manager and he will take my order. When I talked about this experience with the store manager (Robert) he took it light and told me that he will talk to her like he doesn’t care. Whole food is already expensive store and known for there high pricing now they don’t have good staff left to serve customers politely. My experience was really bad with the whole foods store and I wouldn’t recommend people to buy those highly priced groceries from there and get bad costumer service.
Lots of vegan food but a bit more expensive than other places with the same items, a bit more variety though and their hot food/prepped section has great options and was super stocked and colorful. Very clean store, good amount of parking.
Good place. Will get all food items her. Indian cooked food is also available here.
If you shop at Longos or Loblaws you will love Whole Foods. Their meat and fish is sustainably and responsibly raised. Meat and fish are always fresh. It is melt in your mouth delicious. The staff is always ready to help with great suggestions for any meal. The fresh fruit and vegetable selection is good. Whole Foods has an extensive selection of gluten, nut and dairy free food products. Their take home prepared foods are delicious and the selection is great. If you love baked goods, try their freshly baked pretzels and sourdough bread (both plain and cranberry walnut). Soooo good! Double bagged reusable bags are strong. If you bring them back to use next time you receive ten cents per bag. Checkout staff are friendly helpful and well trained. No squished bread or broken eggs here.
Excellent food, especially their hot bar, i wish they can drop their prices or give a little discount, a decent selection of food will set you back by $20.00
I often hang out here instead of a coffee shop. Many great options for healthy food plus wireless internet.
My favorite grocery store in Canada. You have lots of choice in all food categories but when it comes to hot food, baked goods, the salad bar etc... you cannot find anything like it anywhere.
Great location, great produce, tons of parking, bit on the pricier end but worth it.
Very nice to shop here ….. it’s expensive but worth the money specially their organic veggies n dairy ……
This grocery store is close to Square One. Whole foods sells a lot of organic food and smaller brands so the prices are on the higher side. Whole Foods is a great place to buy vegetarian and vegan food. They carry vegan sweets (donuts, brownies...), vegan cheese and cream cheese (super creamy and yummy) and vege-meat products like Beyond Meat. They have a huge selection of prepared foods, including various kinds of sandwiches, sushi, and salads. I really enjoy they pakoras, they make a great snack or an appetizer for guests. There's also freshly baked pizza and a coffee kiosk selling a wide selection of coffees. Fruits and vegetables are organic and I did notice they do tend to spoil faster than produce from other stores which, I guess, comes with the lack of chemicals. The best sections in Whole Foods, in my opinion, are their meet counter and their flowers section. The meat counter has with very knowledgable staff and sells a carefully chosen selection of wonderfully fresh items. My favourite is grass fed beef. Staff is always ready to help, and will advise you well. The flower section offers the best deal for flowers in Mississauga. They have a great selection of cut flowers at amazing prices. I usually buy hydrangeas, baby's breath, greens and roses and make my own arrangements at a fraction of the price. A bonus: Whole Foods has an electric car charger on their parking lot, and a designated spot for an EV car which is another attestation to their commitment to being green.
Can't explain in words how Jessica ( customer service- Pharmacy) helped and answer all the questions over the phone. Whole food Market must be glad to have great people like Jessica. Appreciate
Love the quality of the goods/ grocery here. The chocolate truffle cake from the bakery section is super delicious. Always a fan of whole foods.
Prices reasonable, staff very friendly and helpful, store also clean and well stocked, going to do all my grocery shopping there from now on.
This place has an amazing selection of high quality organic as well as conventional groceries. I go here all the time to buy my food because I believe good food is the best investment. The reason I wont give them 5 stars is because they are very expensive and I feel I am getting ripped off for alot of their food items. If I had options for cheaper organic food alternatives I would definitely consider, but living beside square one going anywhere else wastes too much time and gas. However I am thankful I have this great store close by to buy the food I love knowing I am eating quality food. NO GMO!
Great place if your looking for healthy food or on a diet like keto. Lots more options then a traditional grocery store
So convenient, clean, and I miss my chicken feta spinach sausage.????
Good for vegan y people want quality products.
Just got charged 80c for literally a tablespoon of salad dressing, after paying nearly $10 for the salad. How mean is that ?
This is the best grocery store in Mississauga. They have open buffet. There are variety of food you can choose.Love it????
Very well- organized, spacious and eye- catching place with so many varieties of organic and health food and food ingradients.
I find Oakville location to be much better, still I don't mind shopping here. The staff is very friendly and their fruit and produce is fresh.
Price very high but overall really good cauee all organic
Lots of organic products. Fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, fish. Lots to choose from. We always come to get the free run eggs won’t disappoint. Fresh baked bread awesome. Store is always clean, staff is friendly and helpful.
Great location. Place is usually busy on the weekends however parking is easy to find. Definitely try there mammoth coffee, it does not disappoint
Fresh foods. Plenty of options for organic and allergy friendly foods. Lots of specialty foods. Awesome options for quick nutritious ready made meals. They have a coffee and smoothie bar. Boutique type grocery store with prices to match. You can find deals here your just have to look. It's a nice treat when we visit the city. It's also happens to be right across from my favourite store, Simons. They also don't use plastic bags which is nice.
Bought some take out from the prepared food department....the desert was terrible...didn’t finish it and the pasta seems not fully cooked....I always think whole food has good quality but not in the take out department.
I get all my organic food here .because of my severe allergies! I love this place
Decent selection of quality food and friendly staff. Usually buy meat and this is one of the few places that will custom cut for you. Just wish there is another whole foods slightly closer to my home.
Love it, love it!!! The best store ever!!! I give 4* as pizza section needs improvement and a cook who has an idea about baking!!
Lots of options for different foods! The meats and cheeses were especially great!
The store is big and bright. The store is well kept and clean. There is a great selection of produce and healthy groceries. There is a good choice of natural supplements and body care. The staff overall is friendly. I enjoy eating lunch from the fresh food counter and having a treat from the fresh bakery.
Great selection of items like grocery, supplements, skin care etc..I find it a bit pricey, but check for when they have sales..it's worth it.
Love the bakery section ????
I love the diversity of products that Whole Foods offers, however I find the Oakville location caters to a slightly different market than Mississauga, and I prefer the Oakville location for a wider selection of products. This location's biggest drawback is the square one crowd you have to battle to get in and out of the area.
Great pizza slices and wraps!! The fresh baked French Bread is really good, always enjoy them! Keep up the great quality guys. Peter from Brampton.
Wide variety of healthy products. Ready made food. Wish they will provide Halal organic meat and chicken, and white Kamut and Einkorn flour bread, pastries, and cookies in the future.
Always shop here. Some prices have gone down but still pretty pricey. Most premade stuff tastes awesome and everyone is usually pretty friendly.
Even better since Amazon took over and dropped prices. Love the grass fed meat selection and wild caught fish.
Amazing selection, even a wide variety of products for vegans, vegetarians and gluten intolerant persons. Very friendly and helpful service. Nice eat in area and lounge as well. Restrooms if you need them. And I like that they have large shopping carts as well as small ones; sometimes you dknt don't want to use a big trolley but using a basket is tedious as well.
Whole Foods—This isn’t it. Someone needs to train that girl in the bakery department how to pipe letters on to a cake. She thought it was okay to sell this cake to a customer with that sloppy piping.
Fresh organic choices, but certain staff are not as helpful as others. I'd prefer the Oakville store.
Nice organized place. Clean and friendly staff. Easy to get to and lots of parking.. Only complaint... pricey.... well it is an organic whole foods so prices are what they should be.
Love the quality and variety of food. A little expensive but you get what you pay for.
Good place to buy organic food here. Reasonably priced
Good selection and friendly staff
Not sure what's been happening to this place, but the customer service isn't as good anymore and the last few times I've been the selection and quality of pizza slices was poor and the cafe has been closed. Very disappointing!
Good food for a price
I’ve been a loyal customer for a while but your portion sizes for entree’s are way too small. I mean my two sides were so little i felt hungry after. And I am a fit healthy male. For $14 plus tax it’s definitely not worth it.
This location has been doing really well with sanitizing everything and making sure only a certain amount of people are in store at a time. Everything is always so neat and tidy here ????
Love this place. Staff is friendly, food is good. It's my relaxation spot!
Great selection of prepared foods. I like to come hear after a long day and don't want to cook. Great staff. Friendly. Knowledgeable. My only gripe is the wifi won't allow me to connect with my VPN.
Fresh organic and local items available. Products are sourced better than other grocery stores and they offer specialty items. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Money saved if you bring your own bags.
High quality food items, great selection, excellent hot table/take out options.
This rating is for their Pizzas. Excellent taste and I love the fact that they offer vegan friendly cheese substitute. The only issue I have had out of the 2 times I got the pizza was that they didn't put all the toppings on the 2nd time. I had ordered ahead on the phone and the lady confirmed the toppings, when I picked it up they repeated the toppings to me. I took their word for it, when I got home it was a pizza without any toppings (they did get the vegan cheese right though)! I tried calling back over 10 times but no one was ever available in the pizza department. Eventually I gave up and just enjoyed the pizza.
Love this place! Huge selection of organic foods!
My favorite place to buy meat And the butcher guy takes his time to explain u the different kinds of meat. It has everything I need, a little expensive but worth it
Please teach your staff to turn away people with full carts from the express lane. People purchasing one item shouldn't have to wait in line for 15 minutes.
I was hesitant to shop here because of the prices, however I found them totally reasonable and great for the quality of produce/products that you get. The Whole Foods 365 brand is one of my favs and I always try to buy it when possible. Extremely busy on weekends, but living close I can avoid that. Lunch buffet is amazing!!! General Tao mock chicken is a must try!! Cashiers are always extremely friendly. Great customer service.
Great selection, very fresh, top quality products but quite expensive.
I love coming here to check out all the different food brands I have never heard of before. This store is always so clean and tidy when I come. Nothing is ever out of place. The best part of this grocery store is the hot and ready food section. Their pizza is really good and I love all the different pastas/salads. Great variety.
My favorite store where I can find organic fresh food and friendly environment products
Quality items with competitive price. Staffs are super friendly, always ready to help. Used to shop here for organic products. It has wide range of collections. Although it has an in house restaurant yet to try though. Organic chicken is hit stuff here.
Excellent Pizza, just wish they would bring back the gluten free crust. Great customer service.
Beautiful and my go to grocery store! Staff were friendly and courteous. A vast array of products to choose from.
They have an amazing stock of absolutely any natural stuff you are looking for! You can find all those hard to find ingredients here under one roof. Best of all, all organic stuff is easily available. …
Nicely arranged. Organic food. Higher price.
I love their hot food options! They also tend to have items you normally don't find in many places
Good place to find specific products not carried in usual grocery stores.
Excellent selection of food that is good for you. Check out the food bar for millions of combinations of freshly made food
I live in Oakville and I always eat at whole foods Oakville location, but today I am here in Mississauga and I came to eat in this location, I am totally disappointed. Lots of conventional produce, it was hard for me to find what I need. The food court is the worst, not lots of variaty like in Oakville and the rice is hard, Iam still eating right now and the rice is hurting me on my teeth. Do Oakville people deserve better service than people in Mississauga?!!!! Why is that?!!! Very bad experience.
One stop shop for all natural, organic products. From supplements, food, skin care, cleaning supplies and much more. The store is super clean, things are easy to find and employees are happy to help.
The food was great. The grocery items are organic and the prices are reasonable.
My favourite grocery store. Good products, good stock, products always fresh. Reasonable price. But last time I visited, I found it a bit shabby. They should keep updating it to give the store a fresher look.
Shop.here, worked here and love the selection. But would like to see a few more of my favourite Canadian brands. Live Kombucha would be one!
Friendly staff, fresh produce, fair prices, clean store, and well packed shelves.
My go to place to buy "Healthy" Junk lol!. Tooooooo expensive. I am not sure why I end up spending a 100$ every time!. I generally go here to get the Harmony non-homogenized milk, but end up buying other things as well :) Good sanitization followed here. Masks are mandatory. They also provide one for free if you don't have one. Some of the baked snacks are delish! Their pizza is excellent too. Love the selection of freshly baked bread. vegetables and fruits are expensive here. Overall a great place to shop organic items.
We use to live in Cali so hubby and I were very happy once Whole Foods came to Canada. Much prefer this Square One location than the one downtown Toronto - it is more spacious, well stocked selection of organic items and the staff have always been pleasant and helpful. Even though I am not vegetarian or vegan, many of their vegetarian and vegan dishes ready made are delicious.
Consistent with all other WF I've been to elsewhere. Clean, lots of choice, nice staff, easy parking, convenient.
The products are great but I find myself liking the place for the staff the most. VERY helpful and nice staff. Have always been willing to help me look for items. A few items they didn't have they even recommended other places for me that did end up having them. Great experience!
Very expensive but very good grocery store with amazing cakes and many choices of organic food.
My first time coming into this Whole Foods location across from square one in maybe two years. I was excited to hopefully see some new changes Amazon might have brought since they are the new owners but I guess that’s more in the United States then here right now. Overall not much is changed. Here is the picture I was disappointed to have no lids on the bulk condiments So I could not make a purchase. Definitely not as polished as I was like it to be or expected. I picked up a fresh loaf of sourdough bread.
You cross path of single women with best figures, just need to adjust the approach, what do you think of: "Hi, I need help buying healthier food stocks for my get-fit plan, do you recommend this ..."
The healthiest salad bar in the city! I am glad they are offering more protein options in the salad bar, particularly, the salmon option. I love roaming the isles at Whole Foods and picking out healthy foods. The food is healthy, fresh but still a little overpriced. However, one has to pay big bucks for their health. I wish there were more stores in the peel region is my only issue.
Great place to buy organic food, expensive but hey if want to put good thing in your body it cost more.
Amazing staff, great selection of organic fruits, veggies and snacks. Really liked the hot food they had pre-covid. But despite thay, you can still find lots of amazing ingredients for various dietary restrictions
Shopping at Whole Foods is truly an experience. I often come to Whole Foods and go directly to their hot & cold buffet. I love the assortments I’d prepared hot foods which included your choices of vegan, fish or meats made in an assortment …
My favourite place to shop. Tons of natural options. Great selection. Great organic items
This is a great store! A joy to shop in. Of course the prices are a bit on the high side but I don't mind paying the price for good quality.
Line up too long and the cashier works so slow. They should have a express way for 5 items and below.
Good organic produce
Variety of organic food items are available though rate is bit higher
I fine it to be one of the best place to shop. Fine food and excellent staffs.
Really nice to go in to this store. Everything is very clean, organized and labelled clearly. Staff were super helpful.
The "starbucks" of grocery stores. Roughly the same food you'll find everywhere else but with the extra labeling to ensure it is gluten free, vegan, or anything else the like. This causes slightly higher prices than other grocery stores, which is expected. I'm personally not a fan, but I've got friends that swear by this place.
Best place to shop if you’re looking for more organic/high end items. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a wonderful butcher shop offering a large variety of meat. Whole foods also offers a large selection of vegetarian items! …
It's near where I live which is by Square One. Compare to Oakville store, the quality of store made products are much lower. Bakery, food and salad bar, pastries and pitza. I don't buy a lot from them, just some basic essentials. Price wise, unreasonably expensive. Cashier line up is always slow. So, even though Whole Foods Market is the high end of grocery stores, but this one in Mississauga falls very short. That's my best rating for this store.
Great products and they really care about costumers (a mask ???? is given to you if you need it and the implementation of social distancing)
My favourite place to shop , all organic products , perfect location , near square one mall , parking lot available, opening hours , they have all organic vegetables and fresh fruits, organic meat , Basra chicken and sea foods , milk , the have restaurant offers pizza, sushi’s, salads , coffee and more you need to visit this place I recommend this place strongly for everyone, thanks
Premium products for a premium price. The selection of organic foods is fantastic. I especially like the salad bar where you load up a disposable container with anything you like and pay per pound. If you can afford the higher price then this is the place to go for fresh and healthy grocery options.
I like Whole Foods. Unfortunately I didn't get what I wanted today because, well I don't know, actually. I wanted a dark chocolate chunk banana bread loaf; I must have missed it. I also didn't find their marshmallow and sweet potato muffin. OMG...so good. I got some cookies though. I shouldn't go to that section of the market because I want to buy everything. Can't wait to go back.
I love Whole Foods store! The selection of products is breathtaking and everything is high quality and well displayed. I often go there after my crossfit to have a quick healthy snack! Prices can be high but I guarantee you find only the best!
Store is very clean and organized. Staff is very friendly.
I always buy fish from here. When they pack fish they always keep a plastic film inside the bag so that it won't stick to the packing cover. I told her to clean it fully and cut it into the pieces. This is how she did it. No plastic film inside the packing cover, not cleaned properly.... The boys who pack chicken they ask always what you need, how you need. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this.
Pricey but clean and great service. Watch out for the date on packed fresh fruits!
Good but not the best Whole Foods I've been too... They never have vegan pizza slices available
As far as Whole Foods go, this one is pretty good. Good lunch options (albeit overpriced AF).
Went in this morning and bought some cookies. The cookies tasted stale and one of the cookies had a small piece of bark in it. Not sure if it's by mistake or meant to be organic.
Grab ready food/meal and you good to go.
High end organic and natural foods grocery store. Fairly clean and organised. Prepared foods and beauty products are also available.
Clean grocery store with items always restocked and displayed neatly. Staff are always accommodating and willingly to help. Dining section has plenty of room for couples or people who want to eat. Even though it’s pricer, I find its worth it
Good selection of items, but pretty expensive, even comparing the same items at other stores. Good lunch counter too. Staff always good and helpful.
Jenn from the Body Care section was super helpful assisting us with our essential oil purchases today. She showed us various brands and let us compare with our noses the subtle differences of each. Jenn also suggested a few carrier oil types to try when diluting essentials to use for body care. We were clueless about oils and cannot ask for better assistance. Thanks so much!
Really well kept and clean and the bakery is amazing however their prices are a bit high
I very much like whole foods to buy some gourmet and healthy food items.
Sometimes the fruits are not very fresh. However if you are looking for vegan or organic options, definitely a must visit. I go here twice a week, so far it has been a good experience.
I’ve been shopping here since they opened many, many years ago. I love this location! Very well stocked on fresh produce.
I love coming here. It's my daily stop.. not just for groceries. The hot food table is awesome. The cold food table is delicious. The staff are so friendly. The meat is antibiotic free. And friendly staff! The cafe is a good place just to sit and read... I study here a lot. ANd the Sunday breakfast buffet.. yum! Love it!
Some products over priced. However, Whole Foods us a very good source of healthy and organic foods/meats.
Great selections of organic fruits and vegetables. Great location in the heart of Mississauga. I would recommend it!
Prices fair compared to other health food stores. Huge store, clean, but staff does not have as much knowledge as many smaller health food stores have. But still enjoy shopping there.
Shopping and eating a WholeFoods is always an incredible experience. So much so that it was all I wanted for my graduation present. An afternoon at WholeFoods! ???? Definitely vegan friendly!
Very well organized store with an extremely big variety of healthy food. What I have to comment is the potato salad....this is not what I would call German potato salad and it doesn't appear very appetizing. The prices are very expensive! Schönes Geschäft mit sehr grosser Auswahl. Gut für Veganer und Vegetarier. Sehr teuer!
Premium groceries store, high quality fresh fruits and vegetables, organic and healthy food, very good varieties of sweets and cakes, and fresh pizza.
was my first time at whole foods, I wish we had one in Montreal. that salad bar is off the chain!
Zero waste organic dairy, greens, bread, nuts, fruits always purchase those from here. Very fresh. Great customer service
Amazone and Whole Foods needs to get their act together. I wanted to buy Alexa for my mom for mother's day today. But when I went to pay I found it to be $20 more expensive at Whole Foods then on Amazon. The cashiers talked to their manager Robert and they said corporate policy does not allow them to price match Amazon. Considering Amazon now owns whole foods I find it ridiculous that whole foods can't match the price of their parent company's flag ship products. Not happy customer.
Buy the mock chicken, just save some for me! Prices are high but food selection is different. I go here to stock up on Kombucha. The store is clean. I would never do all my grocery shopping here but it's great to pick up a few items you can't get anywhere else.
Great selection of healthy lifestyle food. Love this place.
Love the overall shopping experience . Is spacious and well kept . Everything is faced beautifully which is appreciated! Love the amount of organic and vegan options available as well as natural products like soaps. The bakery is a 5/5 for sure !! Buying bread while I’m here is a must !! Nice hot plate selection and the coffee here is very good .
Very good supermarket fresh and clean and we'll organized, love the hot table great selection and we'll balanced food choices. I understand the concern on prices expenses but for the food quality and excellent cutomers service I'll pay a little extra. My favorite location is the Yorkville village center. Keep up the good work this chain is going places.
High quality products, competitive pricing. And the staff is great. The bakery and desert section is fabulous. Many items to choose from and also vegan items. The hot table while price he has an abundance of fresh foods. The meat and fish section again pricey but worth every penny. The health section where they sell essential oil‘s has a vast number of different brands and pricing. Dairy section has many yoghurts to choose from and many vegan products which I really like. I also find the beverage section always stocked up nicely. Being a vegan I find a very hard time finding products that’s my dietary restriction but when I go to whole foods I am completely satisfied and happy. Even the boxed and packaged section is fully stocked. Always fresh and flavourful fruits and vegetables available.
A "normal" Whole Foods. Has the advantage of being next to Square One. Indoor and outdoor seating for dining.
Nice selection of merchandise, other than in a regular grocery store, a bit on the pricey side.
I do my groceries here every Sunday for my weekly meal prep, the food is always fresh and the associates are very knowledgeable and helpful
The store is always clean. Its expensive to shop here but the quality of the products is great.
I come here for espresso in the morning on Saturdays and Sundays. Place is ok. However what I don't like 1- Lack of consistency in service ( Bakery is good, but cashiers are usually not pleasant to deal with). I have a general feeling that employees are unhappy. 2- At the café I get my espresso for sit in, some give me the 10cents discount and some don't (again inconsistency) Generally, the prices are expensive. Pretty sure Whole Foods in sq1 will be in trouble if people had an alternative such as Organic Garage.
What a huge whole foods much bigger than oakville one and they have such a huge selection of food for take out.
Looks more compact compare to other whole Foods market but it had everything and more easy to shop.
Select is good and the store is well laid out but the prices are a bit high. Still say it is a good place to visit and just watch for the sales. They do have some really good deals.
My sister asked me to pick up some snacks on the fly at this location. Don’t have time to do a detailed review so this one’s a quickie. Service here is great and so was checkout for one item. Covered Bridge potato chips are on sale for a $3.99 284g bag was my laser focus! I’m not a fan of health foods if you’ve followed my reviews; live life fast and enjoy the view.
One stop shop for all my groceries and place is very clean. Staffs are very helpful.
Awesome place for organic stuff
April, 14/2021- **Fly in pizza** It's a great place to come for variety and selection but I just ordered their to-go pizza and found a fly on my piece. Will not order that again. Addition: April.26/202-the continued attitude and disrespect I get from the (all female) cashiers. I cannot wait for self checkout to avoid this unpleasant experience at a store I enjoy the products. The staff make this location worth driving to another location. P.s. it's been 8 out of the 10 days and still have not received refund for fly in pizza.
It's good : grocery, meat, frozen goods and produces.
Great store except they don't carry any organ meats other than frozen beef liver...chicken liver and lamb liver would be nice.
The staff is extremely friendly, from the butchers to the cashiers! They also have great social distancing rules along with providing masks for those who aren't wearing one.
Well maintained shop just very expensive compare to ANY other shop with the same products. The store is respecting the COVID-19 guidelines well and the customers are also respectfully following the recommendations giving you a good shopping experience compare to the circumstances. Don't forget to wipe your products once you arrive home for safety ! ;)
Overall this is a great spot to meet up friends as there is a large cafe area with seating. Compared to other WF locations this store is lacking in selection especially the pastries. With Amazon purchasing the stores, it was promised prices will go down. All I have seen is prices go up. Honestly for some items, wait for a sale at Loblaws or Fortinos and prices will be cheaper, sometimes in half.
Here on a Saturday (Sept. 14). First time visiting the store in over a year (to be fully transparent, we usually shop at our neighborhood metro and loblaws) because we were in the area. Overall, there was a major lack of variety, esp. noticeable in the produce section and the quality is not what I remember. Overall, for fresh produce our local loblaws and metro have MUCH higher quality produce (esp. when it comes to taste!). Product selection overall didn't have everything we were looking for, and the price points were super inflated across the board. "Healthy" used to be enough to drive me in-store to a Whole Foods, but to be quite honest, I gotta say I find better selection and quality at other local grocery stores. It's not what it used to be - and I'm surprised by such rave reviews.
I just discovered the glory of buying freshly made lunches at whole foods. Where has this been my ~whole~ life? Try the macaroni and cheese, you deserve this. Also pro tip, theres a $2 off discount on Wednesdays at lunch
Love the selection but extremely over priced. I just spent $9 on brownies. That being said you are paying for quality and freshness. You can find good deals if you look. It is very clean and always well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hot food section is irresistible. Great pizza and empanadas. I've tried most of their salads and have even mimicked some of their ideas. Of course, if you're a vegetarian or vegan the options are endless. I really enjoy shopping here. Most grocery stores give me anxiety.
I am always there buying my organic food from this store but I can see only 35% of the store has organic logo on but the rest of 65% have no organic logo on. Shoppers have to understand that you are paying more in this store for food than other stores for same food which has no organic logo on. I can save 20% if we buy the same non organic food from No frills or Walmart or food basecs as an example. Eventhough the North America organic food Standard is lower in quality comparing with the similar organic items food in Denmark or Sweden in EU in general. I was there in EU and I can feel the differences in my body.
I had a okay experience. one of the meats reps were kind of rude and dismissive. This is not good for a person that is shopping there for the first time. But the meat is awesome. The store is great.
Love the vast amount of vegan products they carry! I recently bought my first vegan ben and jerry's there and I was super happy they had them!
High quality food. My favourite place to buy freshly roasted organic coffee beans. Amazing croissants too.
I like the product assortment and meat counter better before Amazon bought it but I do like some of the lower prices.
Love this location! Always an amazing selection and love the fresh food bar etc
Organic, clean, kind team & yummy food 10/10 recommend to switch your groceries to here! I always enjoy the food cafeteria & their large range of organic natural beauty section filled with oils and incense
I am so thankful I have this place near my home! They are the only place in central Mississauga that I know of where I can go for some organic food. They have a buffet style restaurant and it is surprisingly affordable. For $12 you can have a decent meal. The grocery store part of it is awesome as well. They have a large selection of quality foods and I love supporting Organic produce so paying the high price is worth it for me. I would give it 5 stars if their prices weren't so high. Besides that it is amazing!
Lives up to the Whole Foods Brandy experience at this point I'm waiting for something new considering my favorite online shopping brand just bought this place.
I come to this location often because it is by Square One and I travel here to check up on the construction status of Parkside Village ( Condos by Amacon ) and M City ( Rogers ). My clients always ask me to do a drive by and see how the …
I can find almost all the items that I need and of good quality. It's expensive which means I tend to mix up my shopping with the Walmart opposite. The salad bar and other food items are also very good. Usually, I do make a trip to the salad bar at the end of my shopping.
Place is packed, there is a lack of cashier's during lunchtime. Wanted to buy a ginger tea, and they only had blends, wanted to buy Genestra multi vite and they don't carry that brand. Asked for help finding an equivalent and she clearly was not trained properly. Bought mini cupcakes and they tasted like couple of days old. Parking lot is small and frustrating navigating through. Skip this store and head to Goodness Me! a Canadian version of Whole Foods. They are well stocked and their staff know the products.
Overall a nice healthy food store, clean and fresh. Now I gave myself a promise not to go there anymore because of the hot bar price... I got 2 spoons of pasta with tofu and a spoon of squash and lentil purée, it was like 3 spoons in total and I paid $10.00 Really? For what? You guys should lower your food bar prices a little because this is ridiculous. And you don’t know how much you’ll pay until you get to the cashier... yea, a little disappointed
Best supermarket that Canada has…. Good to have one at squareone. Service can be improved. Some staff has attitude problem.
Love this location. They cater to you and let you try before buying. Prices are high and so is quality. You can find unique produce that is not available anthere else.
Good grocery store but too pricey. They could bring there prices down somewhat to help struggling consumers so we can all eat healthier.
I make it a must to visit Whole Foods at least once a week for some certain specialty items I like to buy, which I cannot find in any other grocery store, however, I never had the desire to eat there. But this day, when I lacked any transportation and craved for something new I thought of going here, especially since it was close to home. The selection was enormous at the buffet tables and they also had counters where they made to-order pizza and pasta. I opted for the buffet, and as usual overstuffed my plate due to the large and varied selection. The buffet offered salad, breakfast (since it was Sunday), indian (biryani, butter chicken), Mediterranean (hummus, falafel), and other random options such as mac and cheese. The buffet tries to cater for all sorts of diets, since they also had vegan and paleo options. I also liked the fact that they provided the a list of ingredients for every thing served. Therefore, for the health conscious this place would be a hit. But for people like me that have no self-control at buffets, it may be a bit of a problem. What made me give this place 3 stars was mainly due to the price. Even though I did fill my plate, I don't think it was worth $25 because it was mainly just vegetables. My brother also just got some salad and rice, which came to around $25 too, resulting in a $50 bill for just salad! The food, to be honest, was average with mild flavours and a need for some more seasonings. But, like I said, for a day you need a healthy meal outside and don't mind splurging then Whole Foods would be a good option.
Good selection of produce, nice cafe with fresh food to eat. Wide variety of organic/gulteen free items. Lots of staff that are friendly and knowledgeable.
We buy our 9 month daughters food here and rarely do we have any issues with product quality and freshness. Once in a while we do leave empty handed just because of out of stock proteins, but everything you need for a healthy baby is available for a fair price. Staff is always friendly, welcoming and their covid measures are thoroughly in place.
365 organic chopped kale was out of stock, disappointing. New review: all c@shier slow including express line. Disappointing.
Wonderful produce selection, great hot food counter. Customer service is top notch and single serving cook-at-home meals are delicious. Be mindful of the prices, they reflect the quality of goods so your bill may be a little steep.
Prices are not at all what people make them out to be. The Prices are fair considering the quality of product they sell. Fresh fruits and vegetables and local meat and produce. Amazing selection.
My favorite groceries place , hot meals , Bakery, lunch, dinner, super friendly staff , buffet meal to choose from . Quality is a plus
Charging more for tea than coffee at the snack bar is a little rich but the other items in the store are fair. We haven't seen much in the line of price chopping as is stated in the USA.
Clean facility with great products and selection. genuine and helpful staff.
I love the fact that they give you discount if you bring your own reusable bags. Thank you for being so thoughtful!
clean store, the staff is approachable and friendly, the prepared food section has a good variety in choices, only thing I can't find is pomegranates.
Great cheese selection with various free samples available to choose from! Unfortunately, some products are only available at certain other branches of Whole Foods Market, such as the Galerie Au Chocolat brand.
Yes, the food is healthy and the store is clean. The staff are helpful and kind but oh my... are the prices ever high! I used to shop here more often but now seldom. I went in yesterday to look for specific products (I found one, 1 was out of stock, the other one they don't sell at this location apparently) , and picked up something else as well: organic bottled milk. I walked out of there with 3 things and paid $19. I looked at the receipt and I was charged $2.00 for the glass bottle. Apparently I'll get back the $2.00 once I return the bottle. Well now I know for next time... small bottle of organic milk (500 ml) cost me $6. WOW! I also enjoy their bakery delicacies but I cannot imagine doing a grocery run for the week here. Somewhat of a waste of $ IMO.
You can't miss out in whole foods! the Square One location is great. well kept. lots of healthy options, friendly employees, good smoothies, there are washrooms. What else can you ask for? LOL
My favorite spot in the Mississauga area for healthy & organic food
I’ve been to this location a few times and I’m disappointed each time. The amount of organic produce is scarce and the quality of all produce is very poor. It all looks stale and old. Not at all appealing. The options for hot food isn’t the greatest either. Won’t be going there any more.
Great selection of hot foods. Thank you Whole Foods.
A great place to shop if you’re looking for more organic/high end items. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a wonderful butcher shop offering a large variety of meat. Whole foods also offers a large selection of vegan/vegetarian items! The only criticism I have is items can be pricy!
Great selection of organic products but a bit overpriced. I bought some apple cider for $14 and I found the same one at Sobeys for $11.
It's all about the Carmelita bars for me!
Yes you will pay a little more but everyone will help you above and beyond anything you've experienced at any other supermarket. The kid stocking produce will walk you to the item you're looking for even if it's on the otherside of the store. Even if it's a really obscure thing, they'll find the right person to ask and will not be satisfied until you've got what you came for.
Love this place, my favourite place to get prepared meal deals of soy nuggets!????
I love that there is a large grocery store dedicated to healthier choices. We still try our best to get what we can from our local health food store but we go to whole foods at least once or twice a month to stock up. My only disappointment is that there are quite a few organic items that that they don't carry yet they have other inorganic items from the same brand. Just makes me wonder why they don't always choice the organic options if their goal is to be a large health food store. With that said, we still find plenty of healthy organic options every time we visit.
Let see !!....if you are looking for eco and unique staff this is the place expensive but nice!! about cooked food sorprised me that some food not is fresh like they have many days and added conservatives salt for keep it. maybe im wrong but i didn't like the smell and flavour????
I have asthma and lung issues i shop here everyday and someone was smoking right in front of the patio where people eat i intend on sitting there but as of now i might not even shop at whole foods i spoke with vanessa and will to speak with the man smoking and they did nothing i will keep leaving bad reviews if nothing is done about this I'm very distraught.
Wow my first time. I had a yummy dinner. More pricey but tasted great
A really nice and big location if the chain. They have a nice coffee bar/cafe at one end of the store and indoor seating. They also have a very large outdoor patio which is the biggest I have seen for a Whole Foods. Otherwise the store is what you would expect with the usual collection of natural foods and products.
I had written a negative review at the start of the quarantine about how badly the store was handling it but I've come to realize it was an unfair review on my part. It was the first time I had ventured into a grocery store and I was expecting more precautions to be taken. However, now that I've been to a few others I realize Wholefoods was doing the best they could and in some cases much better than others.
Loved the shopping experience. Good Stuff
Just purchased a pumpkin cheesecake only to find a black fly in the box. Very disappointed especially for the price paid.
A a choice of high quality and healthy products at affordable price. My favorite is the prepared food section where they have big spread of hot and cold food, salads and bakeries.
Smaller than the one in Yorkville, but there's still a decent selection of food and greenish household products. Good produce section. Not a frequent frequent visitor to the hot food section, but I have had a delicious saag paneer a couple of times. Surprisingly bad coffee.
Meat is not the freshest. Bought chicken drumsticks only to wake up the next morning to a horrible smell coming from the fridge.
I love whole foods. GreAt food selection and helpful staff
Been shopping there for years!! And specially now, my daughter become autistic the last 4 years, we getting lot of food there for her!! Well, enjoy shrimp, steaks , burgers too! Yummy! And !! They do take orders for Thanksgiving, Christmas, that is amazing!! The food is great, anything you want, from 1 to 14 people sizes! We did it!! Ohh , absolutely recommend it!! You choose pick up time, then you heat it up! Price is pretty good too!!! Go for it! I will for sure! 100%!!
It's an okay place go shop when I'm in the area or if nothing else is open but when i consider the quality, organic options and competitive pricing that Longos or Fortinos offer, this place doesn't have the edge. Not to mention I bought 4 tater tot sized vegan nuggets, 1 tater tot sized falafel, a tablespoon of tabouleh, 1 tablespoon of vegan mac and cheese and it came up to 7 bucks. Thank goodness I was only sampling at the time.
Spacious store and friendly and helpful staff I'm here all the time. Good selection of vegan items also. Wholefoods can be more expensive than the other guys usually about a 1-10$ difference depending on the item and that can add up but they have a large assortment of products and everything is in one place which makes it very convenient to buy here. Staff is great! Very helpful. Overall a great store to visit.
Love this place. So many amazing different healthy and organic alternatives. Price is a little higg on some items but that's obviously to come with organic products. Customerservice can a bit better!
Amazing pizza! Good selection of organic food Every time I visit Square One shopping centre I always shop at Whole Foods Market.
I love shopping here they have great products and and there customer service is excellent.
Great selection, good prices for the most part. Not for produce but for everything else. Great store.
We love for the simple reason that the seafood is always fresh. Thank you for the service.
A great place to buy foods for a person with strict dietary needs.
Very expensive, and there’s no scales to measure your food so you can know how much you’re going to spend. Ended up spending close to $20 on just some macaroni salad and salad in a small box.
Helpful staff and beautiful flower selection ! The natural oils and skin products are amazing as well ^_^
it was same as other store but extremely expensive I think it was unfair price and they don't care about middle class this is my first and last time I go there the food price was extremely expensive soon they are going to bankruptcy
Friendly staff, good quality produce. Love all the vegan options available!
I love their cakes specially vanilla flavor. Their spread is amazing, must try all baked good . They also have hot meals to go.
Best grocery store! Love the prices, quality, overall experience is fantastic.
I've shopped here twice. The first time, a cashier with oversized eyewear condescended to me when she pointed to the bag I was holding and said, "Did you wanna use your little bag there?" The bag in question was a standard shopper. (Perhaps not hip enough?) The second time, a different cashier asked if I'd like the 10¢ off for using my own bag, only to say she had already processed the transaction, sans credit. How many trivial unpleasantries does it take to become turned off by a business? Two.
Sometimes the staff shows strong signs of lack of trainig. It needs to be better to match the high prices.
Great grocery store! I love their fresh produce, fresh meat and also their bakery! I go here at least two to three times a week.
Love this place. Close to my home. Staff are willing to help all the time. They have something for everyone. If you have food allergies this is the place to go
A little pricey, but very open and clean. I try to go to more small businesses rather than big box stores, especially after Amazon bought out this place, but when I am stuck I do force myself to go to the bigger players
Absolutely adore the place, a little disappointed they don’t have a Pride Flag up for Pride month. Hopefully soon? :)
I’ve been shopping at Whole foods square one for approximately 2 years now. I was in earlier this week and had by far my best experience. I was helped by a gentleman who’s name I believe is Matt while in the grocery isle. I had a hand full of questions regarding a few products. He was very helpful and so kind. As my trip to whole foods neared the end I headed to cash out my items. As I’m greeted by a cashier by the name Stephanie. She was an absolutely sweetheart. She gave me some very helpful tips when I told her I was thinking of juicing fruits and vegetables. She was genuine and took her time to engage in conversation with me. I’ve had previous unpleasant experiences while Shopping at Whole foods square one location. However I had to leave a review. I truly hope these 2 don’t go unoticed and that I’m lucky enough to run into them again next time I’m in!
Again I have to stay on the line (outside) No! No! No More purchase at this store and it's tooooooo expensive
Well managed location. Always seems to be well staffed and well stock. The bakery section always seems to have something to satisfy that sugar craving. As a side note, it’s nice to see the commitment for a better planet reflected in the paver stones around the store.
I typically enjoy shopping at this Square One Whole Foods Market location and they offer a lot of fresh and healthy options. Whole foods is reasonably priced. However, I am disappointed in the Whole Foods Market return policy as I purchased cashews from their bulk department. (I have bought them here many times before). The last batch a bought tasted rancid /off. I asked to exchange them or purchase something else, since I did not have a copy of my receipt. (Why would I keep my receipt, I didn’t think I was buying rotten food??). They would not refund/credit me the value. I would recommend to go somewhere else where they are not ashamed of taking back the product they sell has been expired. :(
Please bring the hot food bar back it was my go too!! Some days theres hardly any food if any!! I love whole foods and the hot food bar.
They are good, could be so much better with wine and more choices in the dry foods and freezer aisles.
Everything is simply overpriced. Staff look like they’re absolutely bored to death. Take out is too overpriced for bland and cold food. Don’t understand the appeal. No wonder it wasn’t busy.
Love the store, also I love how parking security keeps people from parking here if you are going to the mall. If you are complaining YOU are a culprit of doing it so don’t take the space of shoppers! Park at the mall. Keep doing your job, and I’ll park at the mall when I need to go into the mall like an educated person.
It's Whole Foods. Not much to say here. I do wish they carried more keto products. Their 365 line of products are of good quality and good value. The place can be pricey when compared to American Whole Foods, but our weak dollar doesn't help the importing of specialty groceries from the US.
I must say, since the pandemic, Whole Foods at SQ1 has really gone above and beyond to ensure their shoppers and staff are protected and safe. Shopping experience is, and has always been, pleasant and enjoyable. Good job to you, Whole Foods!
I come here often to shop for groceries and the hot table. Product selection is great, never really have an issue with items out of stock. Pricey, but it’s Whole Foods, to be expected. Now we just need a WF to open up in Etobicoke :)
Found some Himalayan organic toothpaste My dentist asked me why teeth were so clean and white I told him
Good food, fresh produce, but everything is about 20-30% more expensive than an average grocery store. It is a better grocery store, but for the high prices they charge, it's a 'once in a while' place to shop. I do my everyday grocery shopping somewhere else.
Such a wonderful place to shop at. Love all the fresh produce, and ready-made healthy meals. Sometimes I just go here to eat a good meal!
It’s not what it used to be and I’m surprised by such rave reviews. I’ve been shopping at this location since it opened. When Amazon took over, I tried not to be too concerned but I was wrong. One painfully noticeable change is in bakery and food/salad bar. The bread (old world rye) I’ve been buying for years suddenly has issues with quality consistency. Under-baked often and sizes are all over the place. Taste is also hit and miss. Scones I used to buy are gone. Now they have ones that are double in size and are not appetizing nor aesthetically pleasing. They are always covered in crystallized sugar. Why!? Not to even mention the muffins. Other choices are gone. Cookies are again giant. Everything just looks too beige and ‘cheap’...in terms of ingredients used. Selections of cakes and other goods has dwindled down. Seems like any sort of healthier option has been eliminated and replaced with overly sugary or inferior product. If any previous product is still there, it seems preparation of it has changed. Either ingredients have been substituted or cooks/bakers or both. Organic veggies and fruit at the salad bar are rare. The coffee bar changed as well. The selection of smoothies I used to get are gone. I tried a new one and was sorely disappointed. Only got one and that was enough not to bother anymore. I never understood why companies mess with a good thing and why does ‘change’ lead to an inferior product. It kills customer retention. It saddens me immensely as I still come to the store but each time I leave with less. I used to shop here every weekend for years. Now I pop in maybe once a month...sometimes I even skip a month.
Great location at Square One, downtown Mississauga. Big parking lot. Great produce and a relatively good variety of vegan products. Cons is that it is over priced, including products that can be found cheaper elsewhere, and that it has too many name brand products that can be found in regular grocery stores.
Was here today around 3pm. Decided to grab some fresh food from the hot and cold tables. In one box I put together a decent sized salad and in another some sautéd veggies and cucumber/onion. Paid almost $30 for them but that’s not the issue. The issue is I got violently ill from the sautéd veggies. I only ate the veggies and my husband ate the salad. He was fine but I wasn’t. Had to run to Shoppers to grab Gravol after I threw up all evening. Stay away from that hot table something isn’t right there.
Despite what some of these reviews say, it's not much more expensive then low-end cheap grocery stores. Sure some things cost more, but that's because their BBQ sauce doesn't have additives. I bought ground beef, hormones free, for LESS then I paid for the same pound at Food Basics, no lie. For people like me who can't have dairy, I can't shop at Food Basics cause all their pre-packaged food as "modified milk ingredients" in it
The last 3 times I've got fresh pizza from here, they always missed toppings and burnt the bottom of the bread. When you complain, you get a "oh if you can wait 40 mins, I can make another one for you. Sorry whole foods, no matter how good your pizza may be, no one should be sacrificing 40 mins of their time to fix your mistake.
Great place to pick up single middle aged soccer moms or vegan millennials! Very sleek look into the restaurant I really enjoy the little niches. Although the price shocks me sometimes it’s alright because I know I pay top dollar for the top quality in a multi billion dollar corporation!
I have been a customer for years and I have loved everything I purchase...really been loving the lower prices on chicken and beef products. But I am very concerned about a major life threatening issue that has been overlooked...I always get the sweet potatoe marshmallow muffin but the last time I got it... it appeared to have raisins and walnuts added into it...I am allergic to all tree nuts and was very upset that one the recipe had changed and two that there was no list of ingredients in the muffin. Allergies are very serious...is it that difficult to state in the tag that it contains a certain nut? It is very concerning that this store is overlooking something that could potentially kill a customer. I sincerely hope this issue is taken seriously and actioned upon.
Love this store. Pleasant staff even during trying times.
Absolutley love the cafe here. The food is exceptionally great and I love the diverse options available.
30 min queue at checkout for premium prices. They have a pizza section that closes at 7:50 even though they say 8:00
It's Whole Foods. Not much to say here. I do wish they carried more keto products. Their 365 line of products are of good quality and good value. The place can be pricey when compared to American Whole Foods, but our weak dollar doesn't help the importing of specialty groceries from the US.
Staff at produce are always helpful. Staff at chashout always ask you if u found everything you needed. Its WF...who gives them a bad review?!!
Definitely one of the better Whole Foods in Ontario. The ones in Toronto are kinda sloppy and jam packed in smaller buildings. This one always has fresh food, shelves are neat and clean, the produce section doesn’t have dirty floors, and the coffee spot sells good coffee or maybe it’s just better staff. The overall staff is friendly and always helpful. Especially the people in food prep, they actually tell you if something tastes good or not. I’ve purchased Thanksgiving Food prepared here and it was very good with lots of vegan options for those in my family; everyone loved it.
I like there food, I usually eat there weekly I just feel it's a little over priced but there organic coffee is good with fair pricing.
Good variety, and of course the quality of their food is amazing. Of course the prices are well above average but I would say it's worth it.
It's expensive but great! The food is so fresh and makes you feel good after you eat. Love the bread, always fresh. The layout is beautiful
Decent fresh food section, love everything but the Oakville location has the best pizza I've ever had AND ITS VEGAN! IM not even vegan but the one here was dry, gross, not enough cheese or veggies.
We found gifts as well as items from our grocery list. We are always impressed with the information the valuable staff offer as well as any new up and coming items.
Breakfast buffet rocks! it the best in town good healthy organic food that cater to meat and veggie eaters. with a wide range options. There something new each week. The price is cheap. Only wish it was open from 8 to 11am
Me and my daughter were grocery shopping today and her phone got stolen from her handbag while shopping in the store. We asked if they can look at their cameras but we were told they can’t. Very sad...
Hope things like your coffee bar open up soon! Love the brew!
Good staff. spacious. good food quality but too expensive. you can find some same products (same brand, same amount, etc) in other stores for cheaper
I wish there were more Whole Foods in Canada and the GTA. They are a bit more expensive, but people would shop quality, not quantity and improve their lives. The prices have dropped relative since the Amazon takeover. What I like is the selection and quality of food and staff seem to be a cut above.
Love the quality of food and clean offerings they have. Staff is always friendly and willing to help. This fine grocery store has created a category of their own and set the bar high. Koodo’s to the store manager and staff. Me and my family will be returning.
Great location, plenty of parking. Started shopping here years ago when I couldn't find any allergy-free foods for my child at other grocery stores. Since then, this Whole Foods location is our go to store for most of our groceries. Always helpful staff with high quality produce and products.
I have visited a few whole foods in the US and Canada. I have to say that this is one the better ones. Clean and shelves are always stocked. Customer service and especially the manager ( I believe his name is Gabriel) are very proffessional and helpful.
Like most While Foods, the Square One location is extremely well kept. A wide variety of healthy options of every type of food as well. Always a good vibe when you walk in. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. In keeping with Whole Foods locations, there is a smoothie bar with great tasting smoothies as well. There is am area to sit down and eat with tables big enough for 4. Bathrooms are clean as well.
Whole foods is a very bougie grocery store. Bougie doesn't always mean bad though... It's a good kinda of bougie; lots of products that you can't find in most grocery stores are there and the staff is absolutely wonderful. Their bakery section is my favourite part, almost every week I buy my fresh bread from there, it's a little pricey but I don't mind because of the quality of the bread. The big downer with this grocery store is the prices of some things are very inflated and honestly it shocks me sometimes that they can charge so much for basic things like Cheerios.
I was excited to visit this store, we live an hour away and were in this city visiting and I wanted to visit Whole Foods looking for a specific product, I was so disappointed. Right as we walked in we were greeted with a horrible fish smell, you know the smell you get when fish isn't fresh...horrible smell (and I love fish). The produce area looked a mess and the prices were ridiculous. We walked around the other end of the store where they have prepared foods and the smell wasn't any better we left without buying anything. ? I'll stick to my small city grocer.
Good selection of organic products. However, the price is a bit higher than elsewhere even for non organic common brands.
I love whole foods because of their fruits and bread. The staffs are also very polite.
Very impressive and pleasant store. Great selection of organic products.
Always a pleasure shopping here!!!
The ac was so high today it was freezing . Pizza felt like eating a cardboard . Improve ur quality and reduce the price for ridiculously disgusting food.
Seems that Whole Foods forgot about their customers with a disability! My son had to get out of the car to move the pylons so that I could park in the disability spot. No consideration.
Healthiest food on the planet!! Been looking far and wide for a grocery store that sells pre washed watercress. Watercress is 2x more potent than Kale, but not as popular. Please support eating watercress as it will discontinue at the store if it does not sell as well. I tried to look for a product like this one, but they become discontinued because people are not aware of its massive health benefits. Use a really good salad dressing to overcome the healthy, but bitter watercress.
If you're looking for organic choices and healthier foods it has a great selection. It's getting better but still a little expensive.
Best place in town to shop for quality organic products. Love the whole organic chicken here. The place is a bit pricey, but the quality of the products make up for it. Definitely recommend this place.
Robert who works at the Beauty section at Whole Foods In Mississauga has been rude and mean too me many times when I have shopped at Whole Foods. I have now called Head Office to find out why you are doing this behaviour and hopefully that you lose your job.
For anything out of the ordinary..gluten free, vegan.
Love shopping here and a friendly staff
Disappointed at the meat department. I used to get my beef ribs cut with the butcher, but they refused. Beef was long enough to cut but said they couldnt but they showed me one already cut. How come they can cut those ones and not the whole one. Not getting my ribs there anymore, you just lost a customer. No pointbin someone working there when they can't do that for you!
I had a vegetarian panini at this place. It was horrible, the bread was rubbery and the patty was hard. I font know may be they gave me old stuff. I am giving 4 stars just because it carries organic, gluten free stuff and the cheese cake I had tgeir was awesome. I had their vegetarian lazzania and tofu which was good.
Great store and product choices. Just wondering if you'll be selling the plant-based product called 'just egg' anytime soon? I couldn't find it anywhere in store earlier this week. Thanks
Very nice store. Lots of organic produce at very reasonable prices
I love their premade foods. Have a lot of options from chicken, to tofu, to various vegetables. It is a good place if you are in a pinch for dinner with no time to make anytime, but still want a healthy meal for the family.
Typical Whole Foods ...High prices but relatively good quality. They are inconsistent with supplies.. There are often no roast chickens, Almond Croissants, Sonoma Chicken Salads which are standard items for me! At those prices there should be no supply issues!
This is an amazing store. I wish there was one closer to home
I enjoy a good fresh lunch here on most days and shop some organic items. They have a wide variety on their menu! Prices are high but it’s Whole Foods and that’s expected!
There are not that many Whole Foods locations in the GTA and I used to shop at this location when I used to live in this area. Living in Florida, I shopped at whole foods almost everyday and preferred it to other organic grocery stores or their competitors publix. I recently moved back to Mississauga and was humiliated by one of the employees in the store. As much as the situation was resolved when I called to speak to the head office, I just don’t see myself returning to the store because I’m still embarrassed about how I was approached in the store. I’m sure others could hear her loud mouth when she asked about my support animal. The tone and manner in which she approached me was embarrassing for me and to be told that that people (coworkers?) were wondering about my support animal (why I was carrying him)Just made me feel worse. As much I live literally a five min drive from the store - I’ll find another organic shop to do my grocery shopping and not have to worry about being humiliated or feel that I don’t belong in the store. I didn’t have this issue shopping at other retail or grocery stores here in Canada or the States . Please be self aware of how you treat people. Please educate yourself on mental health and other invisible disabilities. It takes a lot of effort for people with disabilities to do what they need to do. They don’t need to be humiliated on top of everything else.
Discriminatory store. Didn't accept my bandana as a face covering. Wanted me to wear a face mask because it's their new law and even offered me a mask to replace my bandana. Because of their discrimatory actions, I'm never shopping here AGAIN!
While shopping at while foods on March 2nd I accidentally left my cell phone in the basket of the shopping cart. ( I had put it down to put my little ones coat on ) We drove to Whole Foods from Brantford and on our way home is when I realized it was missing. It had been a good 25 minutes since we had left and I was sure I would never see my phone again. We called the # on the receipt and a lovely lady named Indrani answered the phone. She had found my phone in the cart with another staff member and it was at customer service. I don't even care about the phone. I cared that all my little ones pictures for the past 3 months were on there. I'm so thankful that Whole Foods has such a great staff ????
slightly pricey but all your organic health food needs, the Gelato, bakery items, and buffet to go items are delicious as well
Although it is pricy in compare with other grocery store, I am sure it is worthy with the quality. The store is well kept and organized. I particularly like the food corner that offer both hot and cold food including great varieties of salad at reasonable price. The seating area is a bit small and is linked with the cashiering and check out area that is the down side of the entire store layout planning. Otherwise, I would expect a higher patronate for the food corner.
Conveniently located outside the mall, with a separate parking lot. Long hours and a great coffee bar. They carry Buda Juice, certified organic cold pressed juice which is local! Always finding artisan high quality products which keeps me coming back.
I cant put into words how much I like this place . The fruits are always so fresh and the food is great.
I went to whole foods yesterday with my 5 year old niece and your tables in the cafe are horrible. The corners have sharp metal peices that stick out and she hurt herself so badly on it. It's just a warning because it literally cut her and I can see that happening to more people.
Wow this is like healthy heaven. As soon as I walked in I felt happy to see all the organicas And the feeling of good but I mean good food.
Well maintained, huge store. Staff is very helpful.
Great selection of organic foods Aldo great pizza ????.
Clean and pleasing to the eye when you walk in. Had mostly everything I was looking for. Unfortunately could not find any lamb meat here, but their other meat quality and selection is top notch. One of my fave matcha brands domatcha no longer available. Had a return because a supplement Canprev Magnesium had no protective seal when I opened the lid. Customer service was friendly and fast on exchange and allowing me to open and check the new bottle was fine in front of them. Sadly common grocery products here are priced higher than other grocery stores
A couple friends and I recently dropped by to see what's good. We were thoroughly disappointed! Stole two drinks and they were both attrocious. Cold coffee and spoiled juice. Whole foods should pay me to steal products from them.
Staff's always friendly and the store is always very well kept. Besides the prices, this is a great store!
They are torturing customers who are exempt of wearing the mask
Very helpful staff. Sometimes the girlfriend sends me here to pick up wierd organic things and the staff always help me find it. A bit expensive but everything tastes good. The hot food section is stacked.
I love Whole Foods, as it offers so many alternative and healthy options for all: vegetarians, vegans and meat-eaters alike. The hot food/take-out section offers lots of variety but is pricier than most places. Tried their Szechuan nonChicken and it was delicious, even for the price per weight.
If you are into keto diet, This place is great but very expensive for every week shopping. Meat is ok, but I only buy grass fed and grass finished beef which I can only find at the butcherbox.ca.
Actually, very enjoyable. Clean, well kept. All displays were topped up and I spent a lot of time gawking, and spending way too much! The hot tables were tasty too. Highly recommended.
Love this place. So many amazing different healthy and organic alternatives. Pride is a little steep on some things but that's obviously to come with organic produce etc . Love that they have the food bar to choose hot food. This store is super dangerous lol I could spend all of my money here
Great place to buy great food! Overall the experience is great, they have small carts for the kids and offer free fruits for the visit. This is the only place that I purchase my Salmon. It's always fresh, and clean. A very welcoming environment, I highly reccommend the drive if you don't have one in your area. I go here at least once a week, if you havent been please try the beef pasturized ground beef. Its so fresh and tastes like quality ground up streak. Highly Reccommended!
Good quality products, most are overpriced, but the bakery do carry amazing baked goods!
Love the market for organics stuffs they carry, lot of international choices n hot bar is my favourite to try out different cusines
My Lexus was parked at the disability parking spot besides sidewalks with slope from the store. After shopping, I found the deep scratches through the side mirror. I do not know it is intentional or not, but any cart may cause the same accident because of the slope. I talked to the management about cctv footage since I saw one above the sidewalk and few days later one lady from the company mentioned that they got nothing to do with accident. I understand fully parking lot accident it is not easy to catch the people who have done it. But you better build a guide rail in order to avoid potential hurts of disability people or car dents due to the steep slopes with heavy wheel carts. It is the least you can do for your customers. Thank you for owner's reply. To my regret, the statement looks like a mere diplomatic expression showing the gesture you are trying to do something for your customer. Since my description above was written after your internal team gave me your final decision.
Every single visit I have had fantastic experiences. All the staff are so friendly and very helpful. I love shopping there.
Today I had the displeasure of seeing one of your employees get treated very unfairly. Incorrect and disrespectful demands from an inconsiderate costumer. I watched the employee Sage remain calm and professional the entire time and not respond how I personally would have. Despite the rude remarks from the customer, Sage stayed calm and even apologized to the unruly customer. When she helped me afterwards I could see she was shaken a bit, but still gave me a positive experience and was super kind to me. What a wonderful and sweet employee!!! Thank you Whole Foods for having employees like this!
Good selection! Staff could be friendly.
Beautiful store. Good selection. Friendly staff...my only grievance: Why don’t they have samples!?!? I’m a slightly heart broken because all the locations I’ve visited in the states have awesome samples... Needless to say; I was disappointed to see this location pretty much never has samples.
I bought choclate cake thinking about quality and taste would be better than ither places.but i would have rather bought from li local grocery.same extremely sweet icing and not great taste.i paid 23$ for 6 inches.best place is then highland farms.dont buy cakes specially choc one from here.
Has great hot food options. We eat there every week. Best place to find vegan/vegetarian everything.
I bought a dozen eggs here for $12. Idk why, was curious. Next morning, I cooked two sunny side up for breakfast and the whole time I'm thinking "this is the most expensive egg I have ever bought/eaten" Wanting to kick my self the whole time. BUT It was delicious and actually tasted different. In a good way. I'd probably not buy it again because it really hits my wallet but the taste... ...that damn unforgettable taste....
