The produce quality is incredible! The best corn I've had in years. The meat counter is great also. Quality and service of both is ten times better than a big chain retailer. I love the old fruit market feel to this place, highly recommend.

At the meat counter, the attendant did not know which cuts were grass-fed beef. I found the store through Google search. It was one the first 3 stores that were suggested for grass fed beef, and yet, in the store they couldn't tell me which one it was, or if they had it at all

I have been a customer for over 18 years. The little Apple market is a lovely old school grocery experience that I cherish. Friendly staff and always a good feeling when I bring all of my goodies home. Not a big corporate store and that is what I like. You pay a little more but over all I find I save money ~ the produce is excellent and does not go bad like the major chains.

We find it the best gourmet vegetables and particular meat and cheese store. They buy the best grades of beef. For years we treat ourselves to $8 a pound hamburgers they make right there. It is a cross of a delicatessen great amazing pastries pricy but worthy of a king.

The Apple Market is THE best fresh produce grocery store in Mississauga, if not Ontario. Their produce section offers fresh, locally grown fruits/vegetables, as soon as they are in season. The meat counter and butcher are first rate, offering custom cuts, high quality and ready to serve meats (try their in store lamb, chicken skewers and sausages). The bakery makes amazing muffins, cookies, pies and breads. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help.

My favourite grocery store! I literally never buy my fruits and veggies anywhere else because they have the freshest - often local - ones that my family loves! The butchers counter is amazing, they keep their everyday items (steak, chicken, pork chops etc) always stocked and also offer pre-seasoned meats, which makes it easy to run in and grab something to just pop into the oven at home when you're short for time. The staff is super friendly and it just has nice overall vibes too, like your visiting a family. Check out their naturopathic section; best holistic advice! There are two grocery stores that are closer to me and I always travel to The Apple Market. Highly recommended!

Old and tired stand alone location with small additions through the years located in Mississauga off the beaten path next to an older neighbourhood, a bit pricey for apparently fresher local vegetables and fruits. Meat section looks well keep on the Sunday morning I stopped in, has a bakery small selection of prepared foods and prepackaged goods that are found at all the big retailers for less.

Great place with a unique atmosphere. The layout of the store might seem a little odd at first glimpse, but you adapt to it rapidly. Stuff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. There is plenty of parking spots on the property and it is newer too crowded. Not the cheapest store in the neighbourhood, but you get what you pay for.

This family owned grocery and meat store is the best value that I have found in Mississauga. . The butcher, Corey, ages the meat for at least 10 days, and I have never had better steak. The fish is always fresh and excellent. The deli counter is well stocked and they even have a house roastbeef, which is also excellent. The staff are well trained and very pleasant. They have a small cakes and desserts counter, but what they have there is always really good. The grocery section is well stocked for a small store. Some items are a little more costly than, say, Loblaws, but then I do not like shopping at big grocery chains, so that is not an option. The prices are not that much higher anyway. They have an amazing take-out counter. The lady that prepares the food, Barb, is a first rate cook. I can never get my chicken or ribs or lasagna to taste as nice as hers, so I don't try, Her chicken quesadillas are to die for. The fruit and vegetables are always the best. The owner, James Tiveron, goes to the food terminal daily and picks out the best he can find. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Additionally, the Apple Market has an in-house nutrition and supplements store, which is staffed by two highly qualified nutritionists, ready to assist you with any questions you might have. In the Spring and Summer, the AppleMarket sells outdoor plants and soil. Overall, the shopping experience at the AppleMarket is always great..

I have been shopping at The Apple Market for a few years now and really appreciate the fresh vegetables and meat which are relatively well priced based on quality. The fresh whole chickens are excellent and difficult to find in any grocery store. They also have marinated, shrink wrapped chickens that are my go to for a delicious quick meal. I am a huge fan of the garden centre too. But get there in early spring as it sells out quickly.

Love the fresh produce , always local when possible.Not a fan of the meat and bakery as I have had many bad experiences with freshness over the years. It's a great location if you are near by but way over priced. I find the store dingy and not that clean. The staff looks depressed to say the least, not a nice place to work according to the many many locals who have worked for the Tiveron family .I have witnessed a few instances myself of poor management ! In particular the meat department head butcher .

I walked in today and the employee was putting apples out. few apples fell on the floor, and the old man, apparently the owner (he always walks around) just kicked the apples back towards the employee with his boots as they rolled over the floor. Perfect-sized grocery store for a quick shop. It has produce, a nice selection of heat-and-serve family meals, a meat counter, a bakery and a deli. Basically, it has all the food-related features that one of the big stores has, minus the frustrating crowds and long lineups at the cash. I took one star away because the prices are a bit higher (but their weekly deals almost make up for it). If it's on your way somewhere, it's definitely worth stopping in.

The Apple Market always has a few deals on produce, but like any independent store they cannot compete on price on most items. The store is convenient and has some specialty items I like, but today a woman wanted to buy some packaged cupcakes and they were TWO WEEKS past their due date. In such a small store there really is no excuse for food stuffs to be that far out of date and still on the shelf. They graciously found her a replacement, but it should not have happened.

I was in a Christmas pickle but Kain from the meat section at The Apple Market reached out and saved the day. I needed 1 half-turkey and another 1 half-turkey cut into pieces for an Indian style curried turkey. Kain came through by understanding my needs and executing perfectly butchered poultry. The meat was clean with no blood bits or shreds. The pieces were perfectly sized for my needs. The service was great and the price was excellent. I drive by the Apple Market almost every day. I didn't know what it offered or what the fuss was about. But after my Christmas dinner experience, I'll be sure to visit for all my family entertaining needs. Thank you!

IMPORTANT FOR ALL CONSIDERING THIS STORE!! I've shopped at this store for years. I have loved the produce, the deli counter, and even the baked goods. It is overpriced especially for their groceries. Go to a big box store and you can get the same items for a more reasonable price. I stopped going here after approximately two weeks ago, I saw a MOUSE, yes A MOUSE run across the store floor. This happened shortly after I found bread that had been clearly chewed through. I WILL NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN. This is disgusting and very disturbing. Get some control over the mice population in and around your store.

I still call it Tiverons. It is the best place to buy excellent quality fresh fruit, fresh vegetables and meat. They also have a wonderful bakery. The staff is always friendly and available to help if required. A must try is their mini loaves of fresh baked bread. We like to slice them like a loaf of bread and spread each slice with a little margarine & peanut butter - such a treat!

I visited for the first time today. I noticed the staff were very upbeat and kept smiling despite all the anxiety-inducing news as of late. We really needed that energy, thank you! We got lots of veggies and we got the marinated wild garlic chicken which we cooked up tonight and it was fantastic, so tender and fresh. We will be coming here for groceries from now on. My only regret is not coming here sooner!

The produce and other items on a whole have been reasonable ..maybe a little more but worth it.I was a little disappointed to see that this long standing family run business was resorting to price gouging on a number of items and taking advantage just like the big grocery stores
