I travel out of town for work and my coworkers told me that this Foodland has hot and ready options so I went there to grab some lunch. The store appeared to be clean. There were quite a few hot and ready options as well as meals that could be heated quick. The prices were average and the staff were friendly. There is plenty of parking as well. Overall, great option for lunch over the typical fast food options in the area.

Specials also limited in quantities or empty on the shelves. Plenty of parking though. Disappointed in the Deli counter as well. Selections, except their specials, looked tired and drab.

My partner went I to Foodland, we regularly go into this Foodland and for the second time in 2 days, he got this same bag checker. The first day he over packed and put squished fruit on the bottom. Today the checker put the milk in the bag, these are paper bags. We also don't get any choice who you go to. I used to be a cashier and I can't believe that don't get any training. Frustrating that they are not trained

We arrived to see ads all over the Shoppingcart shelters, which was a little bit.. Annoying, to say the least. But, the food was nice albeit a little overpriced. They had tips and info, even some recipies. Its not that I dislike the Sobey's family, but.. just not Foodland, mainly because they're overpriced as heck. When we went to visit the checkout, it seems she's had a rough day. I wont say names, mainly because I dont want her to be reprimanded, nor did I notice her nametag. But overall, it was a mediocre experience.

Beyond rude and ignorant. Blaming customers for store disorder. And being unnecessarily aggressive and argumentative. Get a clue. Get off your power trip. If I'm spending my hard earned money at your store and you make a mistake. Last thing I want is to be blamed for your deficiencies. If you're unhappy with your job, get a new one. Good store... The last few times the bake goods dont look good thrown together.. Dark in color or over cooked.. Service today was fair ( today).Last time I went got my food items packed in paper bags.. Well today the cahier stood there and watch me.. I took a paper bag.. She said the bags are 15 cents.A bag that may rip or get wet from cool freezer stuff..before you get in the house. I think the midland food land..need a little break from..and its $$.

Not impressed...husband asked an employee about a sugar free drink they were supposed to have on sale, he threw up his hands, said he didn't know what he was talking about and walked away!! We left without purchasing another item that we were going to get. We then went to the Foodland in Coldwater and were treated well.....needless to say, we will never shop at the Midland store again. Kudos to Coldwater Foodland and their employees.

What a huge contrast from the Super Store! Foodland needs to take covid more seriously! Nobody directing cart traffic or number of customers in store, hand sanitizer in hard to notice place. At the checkout, the belts were filthy dirty! At Super Store, they wash them all the time. Gross. I try to avoid this place due to higher prices anyway. The only reason I gave it any stars is that they did have 2 things I couldn't find at Super Store.

I shop at The Foodland at least twice/week. It is my neighborhood grocery store. It is clean and well stocked. Fruits, vegetables and bakery items are always fresh and at top quality. It also has excellent product variety among frozen, prepared and dried goods. Additionally, The Foodland also is licensed to sell beer making it even more convenient. The staff are all top notch, competent and friendly - and provide personal service, often asking of myself and my dog whom they also know well as we travel there together, often (she stays outside - I promise!).

Disappointed in the lack of safety precautions when shopping there during the senior hour. Carts were not cleaned u less you did it yourself with brown paper towel and I assume disinfectant spray. The store smelled of cleaning product especially in the canned goods isle. No distancing lines o the florr at cashiers. This was not what I expected.

Love this place. Usually has everything I need, and always has neat, often weird, products that you can't find anywhere else in town. Great selection of international foods and health foods as well. Only qualm is with the meat department. I love that they carry a wide variety of meat types and free range stuff, but sometimes (more than once) I find stuff that is a day or two past its date. Other times stuff they usually have is sold out. Either way, great place to shop. Stress free, decent prices, great variety. Produce is decent as well!
