A little bit overrated, the food was not bad but it wasn't reflective of the high rating. I had one of the grilled cheese sandwiches, bacon and brie along with some kind of lunch meat (there may have been some spinach in there too if I remember correctly) and it was okay but not amazing. An intense smokey flavour but a little one note. Their beer was better, which makes sense, and my dad especially enjoyed their house made blonde beer. The lone waitress was doing her best but the place seemed to be quite understaffed and my family had to wait quite a long time to be seated upon entering the restaurant despite there being empty tables. The best thing about La Fabrique was the great indie classics playlist which contributed much to the ambiance.

A great place to enjoy in Matane. Friendly staff and good safety measures in place for the pandemic. The shrimp cocktail was delicious as Matane shrimps are a must in the region and the local beer was great as well! Highly recommend. Just make sure to plan for some time to wait as there are no reservation.

This place has everything going for it. 25 drafts, mostly locally made, styles going from easy drinking ales to funky sours and everything in between. Everything I tried was on point. The burger was excellent, service fast and efficient. Totally recommended.

The food was good and the drinks too. There was not even one empty table inside or outside the place, which I believe to be the reason for us to wait over 1 hour for our order. At least the food was good, the drinks and the beer tasting menu too. I would pay another visit when visiting Matane.

This is as good as it gets in Matane. Trendy little micro brewery/ bar with about 20 beers on tap, most of which they make. Excellent food, hamburgers, muscles, etc, haven't had a bad meal. Most of the freindly staff speaks English and is willing to help. Gets a little loud when crowded. Great scotch and gin selection, cheers!

A delicious assemblage of beers ranging from the light and smooth to deep and substantial, along with a few interesting varieties. The session ale is lively and not too bitter, while the riviere blanche is clean and bright, and very tasty. Would drink again!

In the summer of 2019 we were vacationing in the Gaspe region of Quebec. On our way back to Montreal we had dinner at La Fabrique and had a wonderful meal. In addition to the meal I tried the lightest and darkest beer on the menu. They were great. If we are ever in this area again we will stop here again.

Had a burger and fries. It was good. And the rest of the table enjoyed their meal. The service was super slow. Line up outside when many tables were empty and ready to sit clients. Manager needs to hustle and get people sitting.

Great burger with locally sourced ingredients, juicy meat and quality buns. Fries are crispy, the homemade ketchup is good. My only issue was: their homemade mayo is quite frankly bad and we all agreed on that.
