I call this a mini superstore because its owned by the bigger company. Great for smaller grocery runs. It has the essentials and really more than half the time that's all I ever need. I just go down the street further down St. Anne's if I want to go to a full sized Superstore. But for the essentials, its awesome!

This is a nice grocery store. It seems well run and cared for. While they may not have as many items in stock as some larger grocery stores, this establishment conducts itself admirably. The only real issue is its strange layout. The dairy section seems far away from the rest of the grocery items, separated from them by household items and clothes. Perhaps not the most efficient layout.

So far so good for the new No Frills! They handled the opening rushes very well. Staff was defiantly encouraged to help customers as much as they could. Produce was fresh and had a large selection including ethnic produce. Will be going back often.

Not a fan. No frills, more like no sales. Things aren't much cheaper compared to Superstore or even some items from Sobeys/Safeway. The store layout lacks any sense. Things feel very scattered and random.

Do not buy the meat, produce or Bakery items, they cover best before dates with newer dates and higher prices - so gross. And when you bring the problem to management they disregard you, blame your understanding on your age, and when asked who you can bring the situation to thats higher up all the answer is is "a woman named Fran" and then would NOT give the info on how to contact said Fran person. Not okay.

Excellent selection for a budget grocery store. I was a little worried when a budget store opened in such a middle class neighborhood but so far not too bad. Couple points taken off for certain items being consistently out of stock (not on sale or cheap items either) and I bought stale submarine buns on a Sunday that were moldy by Tuesday.

Awesome layout, tons of variety. Super packed opening day. Lines were through the aisles. Bright, clean and so glad to have our local grocery store back. New store design has bulk food section, LOTS of frozen foods, and still has the pharmacy. Nice to see plenty of staff around the store, hope this continues.

Only 2 cashiers. Always have slow checkout. Had to wait 30 minutes for checkout. Just by drawing lines you can't have social distancing. Line of 30 people doesn't really help. You can't do self checkout because of cart even though it's empty. No efforts from staff to help.

Worst place , rude employee. I went shopping with a friend. We dont live together and a very rude lady who was wearing all black and hijab was giving us attitude and said only 1 house hold and we explained to her we are not from same household and we both need to do grocery for our own family and we wont be shopping together. but she said it doesn't matter and kick my friend out, after walking into to the store I've Seen couples walking around , and another family who were shopping together. I've got upset and I just left instead of shopping here.

I really enjoyed the no frills experience. Warehouse style shopping with excellent prices. You get the Lawblaws Superstore feel but even more warehousey and better prices. I'll hit this place again for sure.

The thing about no frills is that it's supposed to be cheap but not only they didn't have a good selection of products (which is expected) but the prices were ridiculous the last time I visited the store. You guys need to step it up!

It's getting better but the selection sucks, the produce is ok at best, the meat dept is tiny and never has what I need. The sale items go as soon as they are put out and they are not replenished. I actually drive to the no frills on Roblin Blvd because it has way better selection and products are much fresher.

Great prices and not too crowded. Clean, well-organized with pleasant staff. They have really great-looking produce and a broad selection, but they are missing a few of my specialty items, so only 4 stars for now. A loonie for carts and I have to bag my own groceries?! Why? Prices are not that great compared to the nearby "upper class" grocery stores. Any why oh why everytime I see lineups form at the tills they never open up another one? I have asked them on 2 occasions to please do so and within minutes they are able to so why aren't they doing it anyway when big lines form? Deli counter is small so much less variety and quality brands available. They do finally have an organic section available in the fruits/vegetables area and it's so cute! (tiny). Rotisserie chickens they do daily are good though, I'll give them that.

I shop here on a weekly basis...convenient clean store with friendly staff..prices are reasonable...some great deals and some not depending on the item...I get all my produce bake goods and meat goods at Sobey's..the reason for the 3 stars …

We usually go here for small grocery runs, although, they are one of the few stores (Walmart is at the mall) that carry a wide variety of food + others (clothes, party stuff, camping accessories, etc). This is great for people traveling or passing through. They also have a gas station, shoppers drug mart, liquor stores and some restaurants around!

We are not coming back. Store staff will not match prices from others store unless it is in a flyer. The guy in produce said " drive to superstore, get the flyer, then we'll match it". We weren't even trying to match stuff from a flyer, superstore just has better prices on some things. If products are on sale, the prices are good, if not you have to know your pricing.

Absolutely terrible store. Wouldn't even give them a star if I had to. Anything you NEED - bet on it they won't have it. From meat products to formula, theyre never up to stock and never have it in the back, nevermind the staff even checking for you. Save yourself the time and spend the extra 5 minutes and 50 cents and shop elsewhere.

When this store was an Extra Foods, it was easily my favourite store. It was a manageable size store with good produce, bakery, deli and meat selections with prices close to as low as Superstore. (Superstore is too big for my liking.) Now it's as cheap as Superstore, but you get what you pay for. Worse selection than before on a number of things and lacklustre meat and bakery sections. Now instead of spending 90% of my grocery budget here, I only spend maybe 25% of it (it's still my closest store), with the remainder going to other, non-Loblaws stores. Loblaws - you should have listened to what the community thought on this one. Too bad... the loss of a great store.

I have been to this store about 6 times, and literally every single time....they were "out of stock" on the main items I went there for. I would inquire about any stock in the back and would be given attitude. I highly recommend saving your time and shopping elsewhere. I am done shopping at no frills. I will be shopping at co-op as they always have stock and the customer experience is way better

Very friendly staff. Lots of parking and it is located in a convenient shopping plaza that has restaurants/doctors office/bank/Starbucks/Shoppers Drug Mart, etc. Extra Foods offers basic groceries/pharmacy and I like that I can collect/use my PC points here. Great gas station outside too.

I just wanted to ask something about my friend who works there and the guy on the phone seemed in a lot of hurry and did not even let me complete my sentence and hung up on me instead saying good bye. I remember why I never shop here. Firstly you need a coin for the carts. Next, you have to bag yourself and pay for the bag to boot. The prices here are no less than Sobeys. On a positive the store is very clean. The staff seemed genuinely friendly. I'll stick to Costco Sobeys and Walmart for my groceries.

When I walked in I was told masks are mandatory, ok fine I get it, so I ask for a mask and the girl tells me they don't have any! Meanwhile 3 other people walk in without masks while we're talking. If you're going to make it mandatory and turn people away. Have disposable ones ready to give out.

The staff person at the door was incredibly rude. She approached people in line with disrespect and lied to them. As the weather gets colder and covid restrictions are ìn place a little kind ess helps. It set a bad tone for the shopping experience. The store was not clean. We have been to the NoFrills on Plessis and it was like night and day. Will not go back to St Anne's location.

Lots of parking and helpful staff.Never too crowded and good selection.On the down side check your receipt as they very often charge more than the posted price. The clearance fruits and vegetables usually are ready to be thrown out.Often out of hamburger and sale items.

i liked the store because it has such a variety of products. the few times we shopped there, the veggies were fresh and affordable.. the bread wonderful.. and we were able to pick up other odds and sods without running to the shopping centre. however, the last time were there one of the staff snarled at my husband because he didn't put the bread back exactly as he had found it -- the whole atmosphere at the store that day seemed less than friendly -- to me that was unusual..

It has been noticed that when the store manager (there is a picture of him hanging in the lobby smiling and holding two bananas) sees a customer with a brown or a darker complexion checking out their groceries, he will stop what he is doing and go speak to one of the cashiers at the front. After that, the cashier will go and stand beside the customer and watch them scan their groceries. At the same time, the cashier does not pay attention to the other customers (who don't have brown complexions) scan their items. With what is going on with the country north of our boarder it is horrible to witness this behaviour in Canada.

If I could give negative stars, this place gets a -500 stars. I will never come back to this store ever again. They had the nerve to ACCUSE me in front of my daughter that I didn’t paid for my things (multiple times). Not just one staff at the self checkout cashier/line but TWO staff members (manager). I finished ringing up everything and paid on my MasterCard. The machine didn’t print out my receipt due to low paper. So I continued to bag my items. As I was bagging my things I accidentally scanned two extra items. I asked a staff if I can get my receipt. I explained to her that it was out of paper. She kept saying I didn’t pay for my two bags in front of my daughter. I told her I need to see a manger. Same thing with the manager accusing me. She finally opened the machine to check the receipt paper and it was empty. She changed it and it printed out two receipt. I told her I needed my receipt, she said none of them are yours. I told her to take look in my bags if you don’t believe me. She was quiet after and not a single SORRY was said from either the manager and staff . If you want to be accused and made to feel like a criminal. This is the store for you. Thanks for nothing.

Good prices for groceries but skip the produce, meat and bakery sections. Produce selections is very limited and more often than not there is visibly rotten items on the shelves. Bakery items are brought in and not worth buying. Meat selection is also limited and the beef is low quality.

Worst produce in town often near the end of shelf life especially if it's on sale. So I often do a stop at Sobeys just for that reason. On a good note much cleaner than Super Store off Pembina hwy. Reason I stopped going there and the Isle ways are like the wild west no directions and Isles are way to long trapping you in with no way out with a cart if customers stop in both directions. I may never go back to Super Store again But what I can't understand is why Justin No Frills has not had PC COLA in cans. I asked why something about aluminum shortage that is silly as super Store has cans. Don't lie to your customers.

In overwhelming darkness, each human seeks a need for something extra. The concept of extra pertains to the concept of quality, and quality came in the form of Extra Foods. But in our lifespans, the darkness, the hubris that lies within each of us, becomes our truest form, and in our lust for power, we abandoned that very quality known as 'extra', scrubbed it from our personal lexicons, and replaced it with the generic 'No Frills' banner. As humans, we all come with frills, yet within hubris' grasp, we believe ourselves to have no frills in our promise of grocery discounts. It is a shame we have collectively abandoned that concept of 'extra', for it better described our innate human desires for high-quality foodstuffs. Humans didn't want perfection; they just wanted something more. Now, humankind, in all its hubris, believes itself to be perfect, free of frills. The reverberations of this decision will negatively impact our socioeconomic concepts of No Name products for years, decades to come.

They advertised an item, we came in for the item, no stock. Were told come back later or tomorrow and we came back, and no stock and then the last day of the sale, we came back and they said it should be in, that evening, and yes it was not unpacked. No rain checks either, the next morning, the sale is over and the item was restocked. They refused to give the sale price. For us it's better to drive to the next No Frills than this one because we get treated much better.

Need to buy better bags for produce. If they don’t break when you’re filling them, they break when you lift them out of the cart. Also with no bakery, I have to go somewhere else for bread and baked goods
