This place is happening, if you like quality produce, this is your place. Parking can be challenging, but it's a small price to pay for going to this gem. Have never been disappointed with a quality this place sells. A highlight is the French baguettes you can snag on the way to the checkouts. The 3 tap kombucha kegerator is neat and tou can fill your growlers with.

Not far from the heart of the city, a veritable oasis of fresh produce, local baked goods and specialty products is there to enjoy throughout the days with no frost. The corn, for example, always seems to be the best. The shopping atmosphere seems like it might challenge your patience, but all of a sudden you have enough to spare. Maybe it's the golden light filtered by the plastic roofing that eases and soothes, maybe we are all just in better moods around good food!

This garden store is neatly laid out with products and produce from throughout southern Manitoba. We went there specifically to buy 50 lbs of cabbage for making our winter supply of sauerkraut and could have easily bought much more. We were pleasantly surprised when one of the workers insisted on carrying the box to our car which was parked on a side street. The staff was friendly, efficient, and maintained a strict standard of COVID-19 sanitizing.

I've driven by here many times but never gone in. Finally got a chance recently. It's a great market for fresh fruit vegetables as well as Manitoba made products. If you're not looking for the typical grocery store finds, this is a great stop for fresh produce. They had the BC cherries along with local strawberries. You can order ahead and have them hold it for you in case you're worried they're going to sell out. They also have kombucha on tap. Service is very friendly, the lines can be long at times but they do Have a lot of staff to help out and make it go by quicker. The cherries I had were fantastic, though the strawberries weren't quite as sweet as I like. The market is located right off of St Mary's road. There is a large parking lot that it seems to share with another business. At least everyone who went seem to be parking there. This is not discount grocery shopping by any means, but if you like a market environment with nice staff this might be the place for you.

This place has no wheelchair accessible lift because it's on one floor, outdoors. Very wide aisles. The place smells like heaven! Makes me want to be on a farm! The farmer's market of rural Manitoba is brought to the city by these folks. They have a bike rack, and will console your pup/???? if nervous while you're going shopping. Super great staff. Prices a big high but, it's all organic (for the most part) and local. So, you get what you're paying for. Try the bread!!! Also made local.

Best selection of fall veggies when you go around this time of the year. Lots of organic options and of course they are more pricey but you get local products that are just so much better in quality. Also inside the market you will find lots of local products such as ice cream, baked goods, honey, etc. I love going around end of September to October - they will have so many options of squashes! Parking lot is easily accessible and I recommend going early to avoid the crowd.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. I've gone two years now to get most of my garden plants and seeds. They have a wide variety of tomatoes, peppers, onions, herbs... The parking area is a bit small and sometimes they get busy but you can park on a side street nearby if need be, and I saw staff help carry purchases out to vehicles if you need help.

A lot of choice for fruits and veggies of all kinds, and always fresh, seasonal and well cared for. Lovely displays make it a pleasure to mill around and shop here. My boyfriend and I rode our bikes down to St. Leon's the day they had the free corn on the cob and strawberry sundaes and it looked very busy but the staff were very efficient and welcoming. The prices of most things were comparable to the supermarket, and there was alot of variety. Staff was very knowledgeable and eager to help. If I had a car I would go every weekend maybe next summer ????????

Prices are pretty on point if not cheaper than the grocery stores aside from big name products like Dairyland, but even then <7/11>$bigGrocer which is a small window these days. And the staff are friendly and service is bilingual! My only regret is not prioritizing them over other options. Though seeing their upgraded store and therefore upgraded selection I don't see myself going to $bigGrocer again this season.

Beautiful, bountiful farmers'market open every day of the week through the growing season, with a great selection of produce, fresh baked goods (get the baguette!), frozen meats and prepared foods, dry goods, and cut flowers. Competent, friendly, efficient staff create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. They have a good selection of bedding plants and seeds in the spring, and fall decor items at season's end. Very reasonable prices and an incredible selection for a small space.

Definitely one of my favorite stops in the spring and summer. They have a great selection of produce, and cheese, and other things. They sell some really great plants/flowers around Mother's day, and have great options for the back yard, also really nice bags of soil. Prices are not cheap, but they always have top quality items, and I have never been disappointed. Plus the staff is always super helpful, and bi-lingual.

Jardins St Léon is so much more than a garden "jardin" nowadays, it's evolved into a happy place full of local produce and other local products. Sweet little market with a wide variety of produce, meats, and baked goodies. Many things they sell are Manitoba or at least Canada local. Prices aren't bargain level, but you get what you pay for. A wonderful addition to the neighborhood!

This seasonal market place has fresh fruits, vegetables, plants, baked goods and a variety of specialty foods. A large portion is outside but a good portion is protected from the elements with a roof covering attached to a small building. Staff are friendly and provide a bilingual exposure. Staff is friendly and they've done a great job with spacing things out more for Covid. I also regularly used the online ordering and curbside pickup in the spring, and it was very efficient and well-run!

I've not been to St. Leon's Market many times, but when I've gone it's been a good experience. Staff are bilingual. Prices are expensive but food quality is good. They offer many local fruit/vegetable options as well as locally made goods (e.g., meat pies, bakery items, kombucha tea). They sell items that you can only really get at farmer's markets (haskap berries, gooseberries). They also have a nice garden centre. Worth visiting.

Great little market with fresh produce and locally produced food. Things are environmentally packaged with minimal single use plastic. No clamshell packaging. Lovely fresh baking from local bakeries. We're privileged to have this place... the outdoor market w/in walking distance is a dream... only problem is that we have to walk Long, or wait in line on St Mary's road.. the traffic is high speed (60 kph) and sidewalk is pretty narrow... move bike racks into parking lot so there's more space to line up... and allow bikes to enter parking lot from back lane will get the 5th star..

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop selling these sterile cultivars!! They do not produce nectar or pollen AKA STERILE. I would encourage the Jardins St-Léon Gardens to supply only wild plants for customers who want to help our native bees that are in such deep danger to survive any longer. They absolutely need the wild strains of such plants as Black Eyed Susan, Asters, False Sunflower and Coneflowers.

This is my favourite place to shop for produce in the summer. Their selection is incredibly fresh and delicious. They have a wonderful variety including some items that you can't easily find at any other grocery store. The staff is bilingual and friendly. The parking lot is small, but the street parking is ample. You won't find tastier corn anywhere else!
