My wife had a very disappointing experience at the store today. The cashier scanned a $8.99 bar of Kraft cheese that my wife didn’t buy. When checking the receipt, she noticed that she had been charged for something she didn’t buy. The manager (supposedly) was indifferent and blamed it on the system, the cashier was plain rude and nobody said they were sorry. Please check your receipts. It is sad that they take advantage of people who bring them money.

Don't let the small frontage of the store fool you lots of variety and selection to choose from and it's big inside lots of canned goods, fresh fruits and veggies, and also a great variety of meats along with snacking foods.

Stopped into Ingonish on my vacation around the beautiful province of Nova Scotia. I was appalled at how poor the service was and how it was the only place on my whole trip that didn't provide good service. I was told that Cape Breton was famous for it's hospitality and just couldn't believe how rude and unwelcoming this bunch of people were. It also just seemed dirty or smelly or something. I will not be going back to this store and I wouldn't recommend it to an enemy.
