Sunripe is a very well laid out store in that all of their produce, apples & oranges for example, are piled neatly in pyramid style on the tables. Other vegetables are neatly stacked in colourful rows, individually lined up along the walls. Everything is priced either on the product or on a card on the table. No guessing. The store is well lit, very neat, but for me, a little expensive for some items. Most importantly the products are fresh, and well wrapped, therefore the extra cost. I must say, you get great food, produce, meats and lots of desserts to choose from. A great store to shop in.

Went here looking for "Ready-to-Eat" Prepared Meals. Not impressed. Poor selection. In reality they don't have anything you can't get elsewhere....CHEAPER. I will concede that everything is fresh, top grade, with an excellent staff. I struggle with WHY are things sooo much more here than comparable markets. Waste of a trip.

Super clean and following COVID protocols. ADVICE: shop here for a few special items, which will be overpriced, and then shop at your regular store for better priced products.

Care is taken, and it looks better, tastes better and lasts longer. We eat a lot of salad and will no longer buy the week old veggies from major chains, for almost the same price. I would say that this is an excellent food store, however it seems too generic, and the products don't stand out. All produce, meats and dairy are everything you would see in other stores, at similar quality, but at higher prices. If you are looking for gourmet local produce, check out Farmboy. By no means should you stay away from this place, it's just not something you would consider 'above the rest'.

I've been going to this store and this location for my produce for 14 years. I've never had any produce and freshness. I would say the staff isn't treated that well and dont seem happy as it reflects in thier faces at the till even when trying to hide it.. And yes its expensive but the fresher it is the more nutrients are in tacked and its local so yes local is always expensive because it's not mass produced.

A nice shop that has has lots of store made items, such as baked goods, prepared entrees, fresh juices and dips. These are awesome. Be prepared to pay the price. While vegetable and fruit quality is good, the same items can be purchased at a much lower price elsewhere. Come here for some specialty items.

Beware of ripoff - check price stickers before adding stuff to your cart here at Sunripe. My son grabbed pistachios from the checkout line and they were $16 for a small packet! The most expensive ones form POM in a bigger size will cost you $6 at the most, even in Sobeys. Keep your eyes open!

Just like many have said - the prices are high and the fruit and vegs last longer than the grocery stores. I love coming here in winter just for that reason. Otherwise I hit the fruit and vegs stands. They have lots of varieties of apples and plums. Their cherries are amazing but pricey. 9.99 a lb. I too find it better than farm boy. Just know your prices and weigh your fruits before purchase so you won't be surprised by the price. I've never had any problems with staff. They seem like they enjoy working there.

If you crave fresh and local produce, this definitely is the best place to visit. They offer made-in-store options such as dips, snacks etc. If you time your visit right, you can take advantage of "buy one get one free" as well. Prices are obviously higher than your chain grocery store but in my opinion it is worth the cost as you are supporting local growers as well as getting a high quality product. Keep in mind that not all is locally grown but the majority certainly is.

I walked all the way there in the cold winter with my jacket and hood and backup only to be harassed by a female employee just because i had a backpack and hoodie on..i watched as she got all the attention from her co-workers pointing at me and telling them to look at me and watch me as I walked around the store.. I got to the checkout and asked the cashier why they would treat me like that as a paying customer and she tried to downplay it and say that this lady apparently knew me.. obviously they were assuming I was a thief and I didnt know any employees in that store and it was my first time shopping there! and my last time!

Disappointed with Sunripe. There is a product that I have purchased multiple times from the North-end location for $3.99 (which is the same price at Superstore and Sobeys, and $4.49 at Remark). I go through 3-4 packages of this a week, so I keep an eye on the price. This weekend I was at the downtown location and it was being sold for $4.99. I called them on it, and the manager was very nice and sold it to me for $3.99, saying he'd look into it. I went in last night and there was no price on the product shelf, but when I got to the cash and scanned it, it was $5.19. Now I know this is a specialty grocery store and higher prices are expected, but to charge over 30% higher for a pre-packaged product that is available at Sobeys, Remark and Superstore for $3.99 is ludicrous. I loved shopping at Sunripe -- it was so convenient, and I didn't mind paying a small upcharge, but this just feels like taking advantage, especially when they've been made aware.

Sunripe NEW LOCATION ON FANSHAWE PARK ROAD, LONDON ONTARIO. If you are looking for employment at this store, DON'T DO IT. . ( April, 2016). The lack of training at this location is preposterous. Part time employees get the shaft. Hardly any training, unfair hours, limited feedback to areas that need improving, disrespect for older workers, no positive feedback given at all. Guarantee zero, yes , ZERO hours , per week , ALL FOR WHAT, MINIMUM WAGE???? If this is a joke , it's a bad one.

At first glance, the store seems amazingly nice, however, having paid over $1 per apple, to then find out the apple is rotten inside is unacceptable! Mandarins that are $8.80/kg, also rotten! (see picture) I'm sure this was an exception, however, with the prices they charge for what they carry, having rotten produce is a big fail. Having spoken to the manager, he assured me that this doesn't happen often, however, they can't always see how the produce looks inside, and he had the cashier refund my purchase, as per their guarantee. Be that as it may, save yourself the trip to the store, then one to get a refund, and just shop elsewhere. Not only you're at risk of not getting fresh produce, you'll be charged an arm and a leg for it. On top of all that, you'll likely end up making another stop at another grocery store as they're limited in what they carry in terms of groceries.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. The prices are a bit higher than normal grocers but the quality is also better. They make fresh squeezed juices that are delicious and often marked down. Their dill dip is one of our families favorites and must have at every happy hour. I also enjoy their in-house shaved turkey sandwich meat because it's not full of brine and preservatives. They also have a rotisserie chicken club where you buy 6 and get the 7th free, which is a great incentive to pick up a chicken instead of ordering out. Healthier for you too!

Love their prepared meals. We usually buy a few for the week such as their meatloaf, chicken penne and the wild Atlantic salmon burgers. All excellent quality. Their lasagna is excellent too. You can actually find the meat in in. The banana bread is delicious also. Just started going there and like the selection. Don't do all our shopping g there but do like to buy certain items there. Fresh take on groceries with a focus on local producers. You can grab any of their delicious snacks, lunchs, dinners, fresh baked goods, or something from their wide variety of the freshest ingredients to create something on your own. They have a great cheese selection from local to global options. I love the meat, it is sourced locally and full of flavor. If you took any ingredient and compaired it to big box groceries, youd taste the diffefence. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous and you never have to wait in a line up! Often times there are free samples, that are sure to get you hooked! Overall a great store to make your main grocer!!!

This place looks great, but the prices are ridiculous. My grapes came out to $10 and they weren't even organic. A quiche was $14.99 and tasted sub par. (farmers market is the way to go). Don't waste your time or money here, check out Farmboy. Hopefully they will open one up closer to down-town core and Sunripe will wither.

Always shop here, fantastic produce including fruit and vegetables. Many ready made entries too. You can also order a great varity of trays which are fantastic! Staff are great...always willing to accomodate special requests. I love this place! Will only shop here now and avoid big grocery chains as the produce is not fresh, and line ups are long. Love Sunripe...it is a 'hidden gem'.

Love it. Little more money but things tend to last longer too. Been to farmboy and that's a joke; sunripe is miles ahead of them in quality. Both locations are great too! New store even has little spot for kids to colour or what not. My kids actually like going to this store so we go even more often. Add to that we live clear on the other side of town so it's at least a good 15 min drive one way assuming traffic isn't bad. Still worth it!

This is my go to store for produce and meat. Your produce is always fresh and your meat is always delicious. Your staff are the best! Always smiling and very courteous. I ordered a whole beef tenderloin for Easter. The tenderloin melted in your mouth. So good. It was worth every penny. Saved half for Mother’s Day. Looking forward to trying your turkey breast roast tonight.

Some fruits and veggies are pretty good, but you need to watch their prices if you're not super wealthy. They would sell fruits by 100 grams at times and it gets very pricy. Also if you buy something on sale here, you should probably use it ASAP.

Clean supermarket with some of the best produce sold anywhere. It is very pricey, I only use it sparingly myself. Additionally, you're not going to find many of the items at your typical grocery store. But if you want amazing produce and great ready-to-eat meals, check this place out.

You get what you pay for, people complain about the price but there's more to consider than that. Each new customer usually receives a welcome from the owner as well as a special something for being new to the store. Also the staff are great, they have accomodate last minute personal requests to have turkeys stuffed, etc.. The items in the store are local, and prices cam vary.
