Here we offer you all the feddbacks of people like you who use the products of Meijer (Fruit Store) in the territory close to Lévis (Canada).
To this day the business receives a rating of 4.1 stars out of 5 and that rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is really high, and it's founded on a large number of scores, so we can think that the assessment is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to rate when they are happy with the business, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to set evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Fruit Store belongs to the category of Grocery store.
MIEJER is a clean easy efficient store. We used the online shopping and delivery. It saves time. This is a good service for shut ins and disability if they have internet access.
Can't stand this Meijer on S. Penn. The people there are ghetto, rude. The workers.... Some are wonderful!!! Some shouldn't be working where there are people!! Will be going to the Mason one from now on!
The bathrooms here are always FILTHY. There's feces on the wall in one of the front bathroom stalls. I'd give them zero stars if I could, but I feel like it's unfair because the staff is usually very nice and friendly.
Never really had a bad time here. One of the employees even watched my bike for me while i ran and grabbed a light for my new bike. Good location!
Good selection like any Meijer, but I tend to wait in line for much longer than I have at other Meijers, and at any point in the day. It gives me a chance to peruse M Perks at least. There is one cashier with green hair who will get you through the line faster than anyone else, so if you see her then get in their line. She is also very friendly, so win-win.
Good produce, helpful staff and clean environment. Gives you what you need. Sometimes lines can get a bit long at peak hours, but that's why they're "peak hours".
Clean store helpful staff. The management team takes time to listen to the employees issues they are not always able to please all they do try to regardless. Policy updates have been placed for the protection of their customers.
I was at the Meijer on Pennsylvania street today and I no more sooner than pulled up in the pickup Lane, put my car in park, and grabbed my phone to call my personal shopper,... Before I could even punch in one number an angry looking man was leaning out of his security truck waving at me and yelling hey lady hey lady and I rolled down my window see what he wanted and he warned me that I had 5 minutes and then I had to move. He was rude, I told him it usually never takes more than 5 minutes and I wondered why he was so angry with me as there was no one else in the pickup line and I didn't even have time to call my personal shopper yet. I will not be using this service at the Pennsylvania Street Meijer ever again. I have not had this trouble at the Mason Meijer nor have I had that trouble on the Saginaw Highway Meijer. Very disappointing.
Make sure you still take the time to look at the tags, since paying full price is saving at Meijer. You also can't use self checkouts with cash 'because of the coin shortage' but they're unable or unwilling to have more than one lane open at a time. If you didn't waste your employees time having them put fake sale tags on things they could checking people out
The store has a good selection to chose from. Rt#1 cata bus runs every ten(10) minutes. There are meijers stores that are closer but the stops are further from entrance, & Bus runs are fewer & take longer to get there & back.
They sold me expired lamb for $15.99( the sticker was saying that its still good) that stinked and was obvious that is not safe to eat. Talked to a general manager of the store he just offered a refund and a 10 dollar gift card. A 10 dollar gift card compensation for deadly dangerous poisenous meat. Will never shop at meijer.
Typically a one stop shop. Can get almost anything I am in search of. Occasionally has been out of things here and there during this Pandemic, but usually whatever it is os back in stock within a day or two.
This store offers most products that you need, and has friendly staff. Robert at the door is always the highlight of my trip
Clean and well designed like any Meijer (if you ask me) they had really good sales on Black Friday that have us coming back every year. Their women and juniors clothes are awesome! It's always unique apparel and when you tell people you got it at "their grocery store" they're always confused and impressed. Haha, look beyond the groceries, guys. They have a lot of really cool merchandise!!
Sporting goods department is great knowledge employees. Had problems at Walmart on anterless doe permits but meijer knew the problem with dnr computer. Got my permit at discounted rate for cwd countys . Walmart wasn't giving discount. Thank you meijer.
We like the selection Meijer has and the story is always very clean and orderly. But we do find the store more pricey than Kroger.
It's a good store but the checkout area in the back of the store really needs work. It's faster to walk to the front of the store, check out, then walk to the back and have them check your bags. Otherwise they have a good selection of items and the can returns are usually pretty well taken care of, albeit in need of an update as well. The store has stayed relatively the same since my childhood.
Not much Christmas decor selection left but love the poinsettia I bought.
Oswald is the absolute bomb. He is the coolest guy and super good at his job. Always look forward to seeing him on the night shift. This Meijer is always super clean and speedy. My favorite Meijer.
The place is nice, it could be a little cleaner though... It has all the items you need and prices are ok, but the employees are very rude. I had went to buy some bananas and a young employee had just taken down the yellow ones and put up the green ones, when I asked him if he could give me a set of yellow ones he replied with "I just put these green ones up, just take one of those." After I explained that they would take a few days to turn ripe the stormed off like I had asked him to take down the green ones and put up the yellow ones again! It was really rude, so I grabbed some yellow ones, then went to talk to a manager. The manager didn't really seem to care about what had just happened and simply said "you got your bananas right? So I don't see what the problem is." I gave up and checked out. Not all employees are rude but to be honest, most are.
Clean store, shelves well stocked
The place is always clean. They have good employees. The only problem is the long wait lines due to lack of enough registers open during peak hours
Great selection at affordable prices
I don't like Meyers at West Saginaw. There is something about it. I don't know if the store, the lay out or the customers. I do love the store in Grand ledge. I believe it is the cleanest, friendliness and more organized of all of them including Okemos, Lansing and lake lansing.
At Self Check-out the Cash out attendent was very helpful! I had several coupons he had to key in.
I'd have to say the best rotisserie chicken in town
My visit to Meijer today was very good. It was clean, had plenty of everything I needed and staff was kind and helpful.
Meijer's have the freshest produce out of every grocery store I've ever been to
97% of the time they have what I go in for, love the pharmacy and how most antibiotics are free ???? when script is sent there, bonus for those lack of fund days when the kids are sick ????. Love the bonus ???? bucks at this time. Happy Holidays to all????????
Meijer is to pricey there clothing and groceries are very expensive at least for me and they really don't have to many articles of clothing that would fit a heavy person.
Got dog food and a few other things , was after work sometimes gets busy but I was in and out , cashier was very helpful and stepped right up to scan dogfood so I didn't have to lift it back out , appreciate that
I love shopping at Meijers, they have great produce department and bakery department , as well as a great meat department and pharmacy department, along with a great men's clothing and women's clothing , along with kids clothing and baby clothing and accessories. I always enjoy shopping at Meijers.
Store is always clean, staff is very nice
DC #93 is horrible had a appointment at 9 am check in at 8:10 am got dock at 10:10 am Sat until almost 12 noon before they start unloading me then I didn't get out until 5:12 pm plus they left BOL packet inside the trailer sad and very slow.
Great parking, typical Meijer customer service, comfortable shopping. You'll find most of anything for your grocery needs here. Be it clothing, food, or electronics. It's like Walmart, but smaller. I believe this one has a world's food section, which is unique and useful.
Got both doses of Pfizer/BioNTech SARS-CoV-2 vaccine at this Meijer. They were set up to give 1000 doses/day. Great service; took about 20 minutes each time, which included a 15-minute observation period after the shots in a socially distanced seating area.
I can write a book about how great Mejier is. I can shop at Meijer all day and have the time of my life. And the Mperks is the bomb
Helpful staff and management. We were always noticing an item out of stock and asked the manager to please stock more of that item and actually did. Good to see a response. It's our go to grocery store.
The check out at the back of the store is Not customer friendly when you have your own shopping bags. It is self checkout and doesn't have accommodations for your bags.
Meijer are nice. Meat quality is much better then Walmart but the prices are higher also.
Always clean well lit and organized..Meijers stores average 4+ acers under one roof that is heated in the winter and cooled with air conditioning in the Summer and is open fully lit and staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Meijers carries over 500,000 items that are stocked and available for you 24 hours a day. A massive and impressive undertaking in my opinion. Mindbogled.
Love any Meijer store I visit.
Worst Meijer I've ever been to. It's always a mess and there's always a long wait at the registers.
I’ve never had an issue here whether I’d be standard shopping or making a return. It’s not the most updated meijer I’ve been to but the people are very friendly and the layout is quite open. Shelves are pretty stocked and the area is clean. It’s in a very busy place though. Cars and people coming and going with a public transit route on the property.
Great store, not a major chain, Michigan founded and operated. Too many self checkouts could use more human cashiers
Shop for deals and your good. They had an excellent 10 for $10 (11th item free) last week and you could even mix and match. Meijer brand waffles 10 pack for a buck....you can't beat it. Plus if you go to the Southside meijers your bound to see some entertainment lol.
Took a friend to get her Covid vaccine. Grateful to Meijer for participating in the program. Would be better if vaccine recipients could enter through south doors instead of having to walk through the store. So many today had mobility issues.
It is weird how the stores are so different with just a few miles. Meijer is good, you get a good price and a decent amount of good food.
They were So kind and helpful. The employees all said hi with a smile as they passed us. So much better than the "Ghetto" meijer on S. Pennsylvania which has uncouth employees and the Store manager doesn't seem to care to change it.
I go there for food once a week and use my snap food stamps.
Sale prices are good, but this place is so downhill from what it was. There were no carts today, the store was a mess, most the sale stuff was gone and they had two lanes open. On a Saturday, two lanes! They know you'll wait once you have your cart full of food.
Super convenient Staff are professional Store is clean Back doors close at 8pm
3 lanes open except for self serve. Arm in a sling and walking cast made it too difficult to self check. That and I counted 16 in line for self check. 6 or 7 people in each regular line. Do you think there would be someone to make a decision to open an extra lane or two. Copying the Wal-Mart business plan is not the way to go. Plenty of staff leaning.
Angie W provided excellent professional customer service. Even though shoes weren't her department she went out of her way to assist us find what we were looking for! Kudos to her!
Luv Meijers prices and quality! Stopped at Meijers because Aldi's was closedat 8 pm and had just left Horrocks, and I had forgotten to buy milk. I was pleasantly surprised that Meijers prices were much lower than Horrocks! I think I'll be shopping at Meijers first from now on!!
Meijer on west saginaw, Lansing Michigan. Glad they was open till midnight , had to get a last minute bag of dog food
Always dirty, lights in parking lot are always out, never an available cart
It's always clean, staff is friendly, and they have an excellent selection. Some of the organization choices are baffling to me- why does peanut butter and jelly have to be clear across the store from the bread? Whys is the pudding not with the rest of the snack food? Seems like they need to rethink a bit of that, but all in all it is a good place to shop.
I always stop in here if I'm at Goodwill next door and across the street is the Lansing Mall. I think in this area all Meijers are just great to have because they're open 24/7
Awesome place to shop at they got everything
The are a great store with all needs you may need so you don't have to go to many stores.
By way of Meijers, this one is alright. Good sales and a decently logical layout. The produce doesn't compare with Horrocks, but for non-perishables and dry goods, this is the place. They've also got banking, a barber, a pharmacy, and a gas station. I wish they had a heated bus stop, though. :\
Love using their shop and scan. Usually faster and less hassle
Really like Meijer, as it has a huge grocery supply, and an equally large supply of hardware, sporting goods, health and beauty, clothing, and general merchandise. Prices are decent, usually comparable to Walmart's prices.
This is an older store. There's better parking in the back of the store off of Elmwood. The main parking lot has more handicap spaces than usual, a bus station, a gas station, a bank, and newer building so it can be a pain to get in and out of.
Has just about everything you need. Friendly staff. Good prices.
Always crowded with clueless cart shoppers-kids running around, lots of full carts and only 2-3 lanes open to check out. The self check lanes (20 items or less) are usually down from the full compliment of 6 to 4 or 5 because one or more are not operational. I shopped on a Monday morning and the two items that I needed were completely out of stock- Meijers spring water and 100 count Meijers Columbian coffee Keurig pods. An employee said that their store was always last on the supply stop so sometimes they did not receive needed supplies. Carts strewn everywhere in the parking lot, dodging crazy drivers and people on scooters. I hate shopping there but Krogers is the almost the same now so....
I love this store. I have been coming to this store for over 40 years. I love the friendly greeters and the meat butcher counter is always ready to help. Great sales. Wish it had 2 bathrooms in each end of the front of the stores. Also wish it had a coffee counter like the east Lansing store.
I like that this one has a back door that one can use, but the self serve checkout lanes are way overused. it's easier to park in back and check out in the front and then walk your groceries to the back. Otherwise...if you have been in one Meijer's you have seen them all. UPDATE: So they totally redid the back entrance to make it even harder for anyone who wants to both park and check out in the back. Not easier..MUCH MUCH harder. So hey what if you happen to forget you have a bottle return slip and you checked out in the front because all orders must be 15 items or less in the back now. You only need $4.50...oh oh...you can wait ANOTHER 15 minutes in a line or go all the way to the front and wait in ANOTHER 15 minute line. What sense does that make? WHY make using the back entrance an endurance test. Why do you hate your customers Meijer?
Always a good place to shop ... Meijer is one of the best????✌????
I mean...it's just Meijers? Very good lay out though. Products are pretty much like Walmart's ? Idk kinda boring but really good people
Make sure that you go in the front entrance, the back is really shady. The parking lot is always crowded because the registers are on one side. If they spread out the registers, congestion wouldn't be so bad.
Very helpful clean favorite store
Old milk and when I called to get it replaced I advised the manager, but when I actually went in the next day all the expired milk was STILL THERE!
Meijer bucks, routine sales, fair pricing, and a good produce selection. In fact, this place had some of the grapes that come in wild flavors, gummy bears to be exact, and I had never tasted something so sweet in my life. Their electronics section is also not bad compared to places like Best Buy, even. Plus, you don't have fake technical staff members following you around all day. Win win!
Slow!!!!!!! Meijer needs to send their cashier's to Aldi's cashier's school and needs to change their bagging system to something like Aldi's....I timed the customer in front of me and it took 9 minutes to check out. Aldi could of waited on 4 different customers in that time. Receipts are starting to get very vague on the descriptions as well. Meijer, get your act together and be a leader in the industry.
The selections at Meijers are why I keep returning. The store is just great for groceries. I literally can find it all here
I love the fact that Meijer first tries to get any goods for their store from Michigan made and then they go to USA made and then out swear if they cannot get it here. They support us and I love to support them back. The Grand Ledge store is where I go and it is a phenomenal atmosphere.
Lots of products were out of stock on shelves, no staff available to help me find things. I have had better experiences here in the past
My cashier was super sweet - helpful. My coffee creamer was leaking so she called customer service to go back to dairy & get me two more.
The store is pretty big and you can get most things there from food for you and pets clothing for all sizes, car and house stuff and Overall just everything you could think of.
I had ordered a cake, wasn't done right, the manager came and fixed it.
Decent place, though the older stores before the remodel I feel were better, but things do change. Always a great selection for groceries at decent prices, as well of a large assortment of other items you may need or want.
As a single adult I look forward to going to Meijers using a small grocery cart. I've personally watched lot employees push the out back of this store. When I called West Saginaw store and spoke to the Store Director was lied to four times. This Store Director is a joke, has no idea of Customer Service or how to tell the truth. Meijer family needs to do surprise visit just as Fred did. Fred would turn over in his grave his employees lieing to his customers.
Always a good place for a quick stop and grab what's on your lost of items after work. However always seems to be busy and never enough cashiers.
Always good customer service , way better than Walmart m Meijer has that local feel to it . Prices are usually competitive with leading stores . If good prices , good , products and good customer service is what you like , Meijers is the place (:
Not enough self scanners. Always a line every time I come. Kroger's has enough scanners to get in and out faster.
I was just there like 10-15 minutes ago and after completing my shopping and spending over $50 on my items, the greeter tried to get me to set all my bags down and check my receipt. Now usually that wouldn't be a problem but in this situation it is because I'm black and a bunch of white people were in front of me and she didn't ask any of them and so, I told her absolutely not and walked out. Then, when trying to tell the manager over the phone, as soon as I said it was a race issue, she hung up. Very disrespectful
Went there to buy avacados and guacamole mix. Found avacados but couldn't find the mix. Got help of two employees. They couldn't find either. Finally found at end of orange section nowhere near avacados. Should have gotten free for the inconvenience.
Meijers, the store built on common sense. This is it folks, a shoppers paradise. How many times do you go.. hmmm.. do I need oil and baby product? Where do I go? This is it! The apex of shopping. You will either be disappointed or you will leave with a smile.
Great store and great staff, their coin mechan was down unfortunately though
Nice store. A little higher on most things, but they do have a nice selection and variety of things they carry. Love their garden center!
The staff is rarely friendly, like Walmart, they seem down trodden and depressed. These corporate companies need to step up and take better care of their employees so their workers can have better lives and be happier.
Super busy. Not why I gave it two stars though. The woman by the technology was rude and unhelpful when I was looking for a specific item she basically said "go look for it on your own" when I asked if they had it.
I really enjoy going to Meijer for groceries and other miscellaneous items for around the house. They are clean and provide a good variety of stock at low prices. They also offer shop-and-scan, allowing you to scan items in your phone as you shop and bag them as you go. It is such a great feature! It saves time and lets you know your cart total as you go. Mperks coupons are great too!
Great and convenient location! Wish it was a bit more cleaner in comparison to other Meijer's I've been too. The employees and greeter are nice!
Not the cleanest Meijer but still pretty good. Just avoid the deli, I saw them touch the garbage bins and then cut meat without using new gloves.
It was okay. It was just overly crowded and no one seemed to know what they were doing, everyone shopping there just kind of stood in the way and blocked the aisles. I like to get my shopping done fast, I know what I want, so I'm in and out quick. This shopping trip took way too long due to the other people in the store. I'll avoid this one in the future. The woman who we checked out with was very nice! All the staff we encountered was helpful and friendly.
Great store, has everything. I'd give 5 stars but the self checkout machine refuses to bag my groceries in alphabetical order.
Meijer is my all time favorite retail store ! Literally from soup to nuts , Meijer has it all ! While doing my weekly grocery shopping , I often find trendy clothing for myself and my family . I pick up needed health and beauty items. I can grab hardware toys, books automotive garden and pet necessities. And don't forget the tasty deli ! All of this in a friendly , safe and clean family environment ! Maybe that's why I am very frequently seen at Meijer ! Hope to see you there soon too!
Smaller than most of the other Meijer stores, so it has a smaller selection of products. Prices are fair though, and employees are helpful if you have trouble looking for something. One great thing about Meijer is that it is open 24/7. This is extremely helpful for those who don't work traditional 9-5 shifts and can only do shopping very early or late in the day. Another great thing about Meijer is that everything is shipped from the warehouse here in the state, so items typically don't stay out of stock for long (unless that item is stocked by a vendor.)
The lines were outrageously long. Only one lane open besides the self check out. I left if i would have stayed it would have taken at least an hour if not more to go thru those lines. Ridiculous. They need to open more lanes for people to get thru quickly.
Shelves were a little empty, but that's not the fault of Meijer. Store was clean. Line was short. This Meijer gets two thumbs up.
If you go shopping at night (11:00pm or later) you might not have access to what you need because they completely block off sections to wax the floor. Also after 11pm there are no cash registers open only self check out so good luck if you have 20 items or more. Worst Meijer I’ve been to
Easy in easy to find what I was looking for and easy out
I love this meijers. It's my home location store and is unique
I. Love to buy at Meijer!!! It's a wonderful Store!!! You can find anything, you're looking for, Here at Meijer!!! And. Is open 24 hours, also!!! Thank you Meijer ❤❤❤
I visited this Meijer twice in the past two weeks. The first time, I needed help finding a product in the "hardware" area of the store, but struggled to find a worker nearby who could help me. I ended up finding the area where the product I needed was supposed to be, but the shelf was empty. I eventually found a worker in the toy department restocking items and had him check if there were any more in the back (there were not). Also as I was leaving I noticed a huge line at the checkout lane. My impression was that the store seemed severely understaffed. Again I visited yesterday to pick up some groceries and makeup. The area where the carts should be found was empty, I waited at the front of the store for a cart for several minutes before giving up. The store was literally crawling with people (this was 3pm on a Wednesday) and I had difficulty even navigating the store. As I browsed the make-up section, I noticed a lot of chaos. Misplaced items, tons of items that had been opened up or with damaged packaging were found at the bottom of shelves. Most of the products I was interested were out of stock. Some people really like Meijer but I just did not enjoy my experience in this overly crowded store!
Well stocked which I dont find with their competitors...that makes a difference!
Good price and value items.
Great place to shop and deals galore especially buy 10 for $10 get the 11th one free. My reasoning for only 4 stars is the lack of lines or people to effectively navigate customers out quicker. Weekends can be hectic especially in the self checkout lanes. Other than that, their ice cream ( purple cow ) is a must have and even more so when they're only $2.50
Always Enjoy the Great Sales - Amazing Customer Service as well! I highly recommend this store to ALL my Friends~ Dont miss out!!!
Need better lighting at crosswalks. Almost got run over by a lady looking her phone. She paid no attention to the stop signs at the cross walks, she was too busy looking at her phone while driving.
Self checkouts down.... AGAIN!?
Lack of communication on Meijer for not informing curbside pickup has been changed to the back of the W Saginaw Hwy, Lansing MI store. Last 2 time I ordered pick up the designated pick up area was in the front of the store. I sat there for 30 minutes while trying to call the store. Was switched to a corporate customer service agent. When he tried to transfer me to the local store, I was disconnected. Had to enter the store, which I don't like to do, I have COPD. I put in my mask & went In. Found out then that the pick up area had been changed to the back of the store. I'm so angry that I didn't get a text nor an email stating pick up instructions!!!
Convenient location. The produce section is a confusing maze but they've got it. You can usually get in and out pretty fast.
This one is one of the older style stores and the only one in the Lansing area that hasn't been renovated yet. This Store gets busy at times like all the Meijer stores in Lansing and that means long lines at the checkout but the major plus to this store is since they haven't renovated it yet it still has a front and rear entrance with checkouts at both sides something I miss at the other locations.
Can remember this place as a kid and has had a serious face lift and redesign of the store layout. Was questioning if this was the Meijer I have known as a child. Clean place and nice people working here
I really dig this Meijer not only because it still has a huge giraffe out front, but because I can park in the back and enter/exit and pay at self-pay kiosks.
Decent selection of what I was looking for, but I noticed LOTS of items Didn't have prices On Them OR on shelf/rack where stocked.
Update: The service here has gone down hill since all their changes.. They need to bring back baggers and more cashiers. Specially during their 10 for 10 sale and holiday sales. This is ridiculous. The cashiers don't bag your groceries right.. Checking out takes way too long now.. Sorry Meijer but you need to get on the ball and change everything back to 20yrs ago. That was faster service. This is by far my favorite Meijer. Friendly people there. Helpful when you ask or need to find something. Produce is always filled, deli has some amazing people there. Especially Jenny who works in that area of deli and the chicken area. She is so amazing! A joy to talk to as well. The greeters are amazing too. Always friendly welcoming you to the store. W Saginaw is my main store and preferred store over the rest.
Great selection. Good prices when they offer 10 for $10. They have groceries and clothing. Many staff to always assist.
Really nice to see a grocery store that cares about its customers scene employee wiping down Handles in the freezer section keep up the good work Meijer amid this pandemic
I was searching all over the store for a wheelchair w/basket & they didnt have 1, the wheelchair I had to get only had 1 foot pedal, no basket to put groceries in, I had tohave help taking groceries out to my car & put them in because my client can't walk far.
This Meijer location is pretty nice. It's clean and wasn't too busy for a Saturday morning. I'll definitely be back.
My favorite Meijer store hands down to buy groceries from. Granted I'm biased since I've been going to this store for 25+ years and its the one nearest to my home. The produce quality is consistently good. The grocery prices are reasonable with frequent item sales to take advantage of. The bakery section is another favorite section of the store that I spend time rummaging around in. The sizeable bottle return area is spacious and maintained well. Last but not least I appreciate the variety of grocery items available to choose from.
I love that you can purchase beer, wine and liquor here!
Three times in 8 days no Asiago Cheese sliced bread . Either you're not ordering enough or it's not a great seller to keep stocked woukd like to know which is the case. Know your market base.
Habib! You deserve a raise! I left my wallet there and he calmly and effectively helped me out! He is so efficient ! And kind! He's a wonderful employee and human!! Thank you, sir!
Good store if you're shopping for yourself. Their pickup service leaves much to be desired. Twice now in the last month, we've parked in our designated pickup time and have waited a solid hour for our SMALL grocery orders of 10-15 items. We texted upon arrival as instructed, nobody else was waiting for groceries, and still we waited well past the time window assigned. This last time, we called after 45 minutes (10 mins before the time window was up) and they were "still working on it." 10 minutes AFTER the time window was up, they were still "working on it." We cancelled our order. I've worked retail and am extremely patient with stores, especially around the holidays. But there is holiday busyness and then there's absolute lack of service.
This used to be a good place to pick up whatever you need. However, the store isn't as clean as it once had been. They replaced the checkout clerks with self-service in the rear of the store. So if you pay up front and exit in the back, they want to search your bags before you leave. What a way to treat your customers. Walmart doesn't do that, which is why they get the majority of my business these days.
This is Meijer. It is the North's better version of Walmart. They have most everything you need for day to day life, and a bunch of you don't. From food and pet needs, to automotive, and seasonal. Plus toys, TV's, bikes, vacuums. I think you get the point. Oh and clothes and shoes. Anyway, go there if you need stuff. FYI the cooler is/was always stocked, but, ya know, pandemic.
My home away from home that's conveniently located, has everything under the sun including a Huntington Bank & a hair salon
Decent prices. Comparable to Walmart. No help at the fitting room. Not enough check out clerks. Tasty enough deli sushi.
For some reason, they don't sell Amazon Echoes, Google Homes, Switch Controllers, DC Comics toys, or candles. Seems a little random but okay. It was clean and the greeter was very friendly. Please tell him I appreciate him.
I like the store but some of your selections are a little short. Especially in your cell phone cases! It's fine if you have an iPhone or Samsung but nothing else!! I just don't get it!
I haven't been shopping at this location in quite a while, but had a great trip here today. Every employee I encountered was cheerful, polite, and helpful. I even enjoyed some pleasant interactions with other customers as well. Store was clean, and I easily found everything I was shopping for.
Yesterday afternoon (6/23/20) we were kicked out of the Meijer bottle return. It was our 3rd trip there, we were not asked if we had gone over the $25 rule, not asked to see our return tickets or receipt to see how much we had returned or anything. We were the only 2 people in the entire bottle return area except the employee. There was no line, no one else returning, no nothing. Tammy (mgr over the area) is the one that told us to leave. I talked to Lucas (store mgr on duty today) again nothing but the $25 rule. All our bottles and cans have been bleach water rinsed, packaged neatly and stored. One bag I returned on the 2nd trip in only had 25 2 liter bottles in it. Another bag I was returning had 70 2 liter bottles in it. This does not violate the $25 rule. The bags we have packed the 2 liter bottles in is a 55 gallon drum liner bag so where it looks (and is) huge there are only 70 bottles in the bag. What is the justification on kicking us out? The bag with the 25 oz cans only holds 80 cans in it. All our bottles and cans have been counted. I understand the rule but I find this bad customer service.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Just has a parking lot that can be very crowded certain times of the day because only one side is open due to Covid.????????♀️????????♀️ Otherwise, I've not had a problem while doing any of my shopping, pick up orders and deliveries.
Always have friendly associates helping. Things are always kept clean.
Love the deli food!
I am about to sign up for Shipt delivery service. The special pricing available right now makes it a very worthwhile to give it a shot. I do enjoy grocery shopping some times, but I can also appreciate the convenience of delivery. The ordering process seems easy enough.
The absolute worst customer service at the meat and seafood counter. I tried to ask a question at 9:15am while the lady was stocking. They don’t open until 10:00am however all I wanted to do was ask a question. She turned her nose up to me and stared at me about 10 times. Meijer needs to stop hiring old ladies who are unhelpful. The work ethic is garbage.
It has been a while since I shopped this stores location. The bathrooms were clean, the entry service man who greeted me was very nice and I find a ton of clearance items to add to my cart! I spend almost 2 hours shopping this visit and spent 200 because found everything I was looking for... he he he I actually went in for 2 items and came out with a cart full!! Lol (enjoy the photo I took in the women's restroom) sorry, it is a vain thing, plus the lighting was great and couldn't resist..
Avoid this Meijer if possible. Shelves are poorly stocked. I can never get everything on my list. Long waits at self-checkout due to at least 1 machine always being down.
This store is due for an update. Some of the selections are great though!
Sometimes the lines take awhile to get through, and certain times of day are very busy. However, this location has a Redbox and usually has good specials/coupons we use, which is helpful. I prefer to come here for fresh produce that isn't as expensive.
Large selection of groceries and usually good deals somewhere
Terrible environment not only to work in but shop in as well. NEVER go to gas station, the girl I had help me was so rude and blew off my question. Problems I had with shopping here -all the employees seem to have this face that screams "dead inside" and after knowing several people who work here, I understand why. -prices were much higher than other grocery stores on the area -several items I wanted were out of stock, and when I asked about it, I got blow off shrugs -I seen a supervisor yell at an employee in the open, very unprofessional
Very efficient carts were cleaned before and after used moat people worn make We were very happy with our visit
This can of Rust-oleum was $3.99 at 70% off - OMG...so overpriced ????.. Very few employees to help customers...
I love this store I go all the time at least two or three times a week has a great deal on groceries everyday wear clothing department items they also have auto department I love their 10 for 10 in the grocery department they have friendly service reasonable prices on everything I recommend this to anybody who love to save money deals they also have great prices when they clearance things out
Meijer is the go to store for me???? probably the sketchiest meijer I’ve been to, but I love it
They only lose a star because both self checkout sides are 20 items or less. There used to be self lanes for more items and now there's just unmanned lanes. Smh but it's a good store overall!
Somehow the prices at Meijer have just not stayed competitive over the years. This one in particular seems in disarray. The store is dirty and we got harassed by a very rude older staff member when attempting to try on clothes. There are better grocery stores with lower prices and more friendly staff. I would avoid Meijer unless you absolutely have no other options.
I once heard someone describe a Meijer store as "Aggressively Average". Nah. Meijer is good. It's also one of the few chains where I have yet to be told "(insert common product) is not sold here." Walmart and Whole Foods have let me down too many times.
Nice and clean store but a bit pricey for items. They have a wide variety of products to include key making. Which I did while there. Key making process was fast and efficient. Also didn't cost that much.
I was followed by an old man that would not stop staring at me. There's doing your job and then there's over doing it. I don't appreciate over-aggressive for walkers. Just because I look homeless doesn't mean I am and even if I was still not called for.
Get most of your daily needs and gas. At the station that is 24 hrs
Store OK. People helpful. Why so many closed stations in the express check out? It is not express if you have 30 people waiting on two out of 6 working stations. Also my MPerks couldn't load on my phone. The page was down. What good are MPerks if i can't use them?
I have used curbside for a while now, but today i had to use this location to pick my groceries up. I will never come to this location again. I had to wait 20 minutes before they picked up the phone so i could tell them i was here for pick up. The representative stated that she was on the phone with another customer. That’s funny as i was the only car in the spots available for pick up. If i could give them a negative rating i would! Do not use this locations curbside!
I'd leave negative stars if I could. I'll never shop at the West Saginaw Meijer location again. It took so long to check out because someone in front of us tried to pay with a check, that multiple people, myself included, had to leave without purchasing anything in my FULL shopping cart.
Meijers has a much better selection on food and produce then walmart but sometimes double the price the 10 for 10 is great though and there meat department and bakery cant be beat there review is in the middle because of there daily prices insanely high
This Meijer on Waverly and Saginaw is the worse ever. No pictures of employees at customer service reflect diversity of who shops there. The store looks dirty and outdated, produce less than par compared to other Meijers, employees do not look happy and are probably treated bad by management. Oh, and the lines are long during the busiest times of the day. A remodel is long over due
This location is poorly stocked in comparison to the other ones. Worse yet, I sneeze repeatedly when I enter this store - every single time I visit. I've decided it's best for my health to stay away from this location even though it's closest. Also, the parking lot is bizarre. Feels like there is nowhere good to park on the side of the store facing West Saginaw . The self checkouts at this particular location are broken and unusually slow.
I am used to the Okemos and Bath twp meijers. This one is like a bomb went off in there. The store is a mess, not organized and trashed out. I will stick to my regular store.
It's always really clean. Prices are high IMO. Staff are friendly but more emphasis needs to be placed on customer service while actually in the store rather than just when you walk in and of the checkout.
Needed a card and a gift bag. Filled with fun products and was in and out in 30 minutes. Store is clean and stocked
Much easier to navigate than Lake Lansing with parallel grocery aisles. Cleaner than the South Lansing Meijer.
Nice and clean. Every thing is well stocked today. Fast check out even though long lines for a Monday. Excellent produce section.
Five stars once they go back to 24 hour service
I really like this Meijer. I shop at 4 different Meijer regularly but this one seems really easy to maneuver and usually has sale items in stock. You can also always find a good deal on clearance items.
It's understandable because of the rediculous amount of traffic. The building seems kind of old and more run down than stores like in Grand Rapids but those stores don't get the as much traffic. Still, the prices beat horrocks and since the business ethics seem a bit better than walmart, I love to shop at Meijer if Horrocks doesn't make it into my budget.
good store. has wide variety of everything. good electronic department. best thing about itnis after holidays you can get up to 90% this years past holiday items so you can prepare for next year. employees are decent there are a bunch so when you get someone unhelpful you dont have to.gonfar to get a helpful employee. was buying a day of the dead floral flower picker thingy and it was supposed to be 90% off...rang up at 60...talked to employee...was clueless...talked to another and she went back to area i got them from and she have it to me for 90% off...so they work with you after a while.
Layout is great, I was in and out in half an hour (big shopping trip too). Staff is friendly. No complaints
Very old and outdated store that is desperately in need of remodeling. Narrow aisles, broken shelving, cracked walls, uneven flooring. Not a pleasant place to shop. I have always shopped at Meijer since they are a Michigan company, but their lack of concern for their customer's satisfaction has encouraged me to shop elsewhere.
Fast in and out. Got my first Covid 19 shot there very well done and fast.
This place has the worse lines. Not only do they expect you to ring up your own sale. But they also have long lines. If they aren't going to have but two people ringing up customers it'd be nice to have more self check out
This Meijer is a go to for alot of things. Good produce, meat counter is adequate.
This location is a bit old, and in need of updating. However it’s ok (hence the 3 star rating). The one cool thing about the gas station, is it has a large giraffe statue on top of it... very distinct!
So much better than Walmart! Wide aisles, clean & bright. Nice products.
It always very busy here. Also lately it seems like they are sold out of a lot thing in the evenings. Still better than Walmart!
The Meijer app pickup here is a complete joke. If I could give zero stars, I would in a heartbeat. I placed my order at 2:44 for a pickup window between 7p - 8p. Got an email around 530 that my order was ready for pickup and showing me a list of what I ordered and the amount at the bottom. I originally ordered 36 items. NOT ONCE between me placing my order and getting the email that the order was ready, was I contacted by ANYONE about missing items and if I wanted them replaced with anything else. NOWHERE in my email or the app notification that my order was ready did anything indicate that items were unavailable. When i got to the store and checked in, the person FINALLY came out with about 1/3 of my order. When I asked her why I wasn't notified AT ALL AT ANY POINT about missing items, she couldn't give me a straight answer. WORST pickup EVER. Go to Kroger or Aldi, even Target is better than this complete joke of a so-called service.
They need to move the bottle room to the front or "outter" part of the store. Its disgusting otherwise. The rest of the experience was great!
Always have everything i need and helpful friendly staff but not always the cleanest store environment. Also, parking in front is typically very limited so if you're going here it is smart to park in the back lot.
Very nice and clean. Lots of selection and Mperks is wonderful
I have gone to this meijer my whole life and have never had anything happen to make me not want to come back. Today in particular was an awesome day though. I usually go about my business and just go in and out and get what I need without asking anything of the workers. However today I met the nicest worker there and I wish I could remember his name. He worked in the meat section and rolled out a cart of meat right as I was looking for some ground beef. He helped me find what I needed and then I was on my way. Not long after my arms were full and he passed by me again and offered a cart not once but twice to make sure that I wasn’t just trying to be nice and not create more work for him. I declined both times but between him helping me, offering me a cart, and the small chats we had he was a very nice gentleman and just genuinely happy to help. I work in customer service and that is the kind of customer service that shouldn’t go unnoticed.
Some guy left his basket on the floor next to the other stack of baskets because he was too lazy to fix the basket ontop to place his; so when i went up to place mine i fixed the basket on top by nudging it on the top with the bottom of my basket but i left his baslet on the ground for covid reasons and some old hag door greeter called me a jackass for not grabbing someone elses basket and putting it away. Other than that solid store.
Warning there going corporate ????????????
I would rate it five stars, but too many times I can't find what I'm used to buying and never find it again. That's truly frustrating !! I only get out once a month. And what I get is ALL I get. But it's always clean and the associates are Always kind and helpful. Love Meijer
Self check out in rear of store on W Saginaw in Lansing MI is terrible. Problems continuous at all checkouts with lengthy waits partly do to only one person working in the area. She would fix a problem & need to continue to go back to every checkout do to continuous issues. Makes me wonder if Meijer is up on the latest technology. Really liked Meijer in the past, not sure now.
I went to Meijer Store because the mess they have made at our Grand Ledge Store is all ripped up did to construct. Both Store and Gas Station. It was nice to be able to find the thing I was looking for and not taking me a long time to just find one item.
We appreciate the groceries, general store and pharmacy. We love the driveup pharmacy.
The produce, and pre - made salads could be fresh. Or at least looked over every single day for waste. But the store is as clean as you can get it and the service is great.
Do NOT use their "rapid pick up" unless you want to wait a minimum of 30 minutes and then have your order missing items/wrong. They shorted me multiple items and then refused to refund the money for the missing items (its not like I wanted the entire order refunded, just the items I PAID for and didnt receive).
Clean store wide isles and friendly staff. Lines were too long at checkouts. Self checkout is nightmare. Bring back 10 items or less live cashiers check out lane or bring on more cashiers at peak times. Waiting in line for more than 5 minutes is not fun. I use u scan check lanes because I only purchase enough food for one person. However the constant begging the cashier to fix the machine so I can checkout and go is wearing very thin. More store secuity would be nice the homeless begging in the parking lot that demand money are not making me want to come again.
Pickup orders at this Meijer are a complete joke, running late both times I’ve used them, running an hour late is one thing, to then text and say an order is ready and then to sit in the parking lot 30 minutes and counting with 7+ vehicles sitting outside with no one getting their orders. I would suggest Kroger who never has these issues just didn’t have the desired pickup time I wanted, lesson learned stick with Kroger
They employ my wife and that gives them automatic 5 stars.Plus discount on food.
Very nice store, team members are approachable, only down side is be prepared to wait a few minutes in line. That last part being said they have a ton of lanes open.
Considering the ongoing pandemic, meijer does a great job of keeping groceries on the shelf and waiting on customers. Love Meijer.
Very efficient in organizing & administering the COVID-19 vaccinations on Fri., 2/12/21. The only complaint I had was the horribly congested parking lot.
I REALLY LIKE SHOPING AT MEijer's , BUT YOU GUY'S NEED, GET MORE HELP, YOU WOOD GET MORE PEPPLE IN YOUR STOR GET THEM IN @OUT, IF YOU HAVE MORE STAFF BUT OVER ALL I LOVE COMEING TO YOUR STOR. SINCERELY, TAMMY KOERNER. HAVE A NICE EVENING.
Great store. Just watch the prices. If it is not on sale it can be much more than other stores. Most people are friendly and helpful. Customer service for returns and such backs up quickly since they have money services. I would have them separate out those services so returns are less painful.
What I got vs what I wanted ... when Into Meijer me and the lady talked about this cake I put order in on Monday and I need it by Thursday and this is what I got... iam very disappointed how the cakes look I got two not one so black icing start dripping really bad.. so it looked terrible and I was not happy with this at all and this is not what I expected from this bakery
Gotta love Meijers.always open. Always carrying enough food and other items and now I really like instead of separating sizes in clothing ,that's it's all sizes on same rack, based on the item itself. No one knows what size you are buying. Meijers is where I go a couple days each week.
I used to be a fan of Meijer, not as much any more. Often this particular store is out of many things, with empty spaces on shelves or in milk coolers. Prices are alright, but lately not as good as Kroger and Meijer with poorer-looking vegetables. Meijer needs to step up in order regain the popularity they used to have.
Power was out so we couldn't get much. No large order lanes open...this is common, never enough help. This store needs to be remodeled.
Meijer is still one of the best ones in the game. The one on W. Saginaw Hwy. needs to tidy up a bit but overall they get ????.
Being a disabled senior needing an amigo to shop is difficult because they usually lose power during the middle of shopping and then you have to try and get another amigo to finish shopping. I only have so much time because I'm on oxygen 24/7, maybe if Meijer's had supplementel oxygen only amigo 's available for customers who are also in the same predicament as me would be able to shop without fear of running out of oxygen. Thank you for listening.
I'm not allowed to go to Meijers by myself - I can never get out for less than $100. If they don't have it, you don't need it. Highly recommend
Very pleasant customer service. Didn't have all my Product I'd ordered but over all. Service was good
One Stop Shop is right. I have the option to go in the store and buy what I want or use curbside pickup (create an online shopping list and schedule a time to pick it up at the store. The cashier comes out to your vehicle with all your bagged groceries, you pay feom your vehicle and they load all your groceries into your trunk or car). If shopping inside, you have the option of going through a cashier line to check out or Self Service which is also nice. At the W Saginaw Meijer where I usually shop, they have two front entrances and one back entrance, and restrooms in the front amd back enterance. If you can't find a sales associate when you need help, there are Red Phones throughout the store that you pick up it automatically calls the customer service desk to answer your question or send someone to you. Been shopping with Meijer for 30 years.
Empty like shelves...didn't find what I wanted!
Too many people that work there without a mask on right. When things are on clearance they hardly ever ring up correctly. Waste of time ..
Damned if you can find help. Luckily I did find one nice gentleman - i was looking for backpacks, whuch apparently Meijer only feels the need to carry during the beginning of the year. Very inconvenient. Happens a lot - go in for a specific item, they usually dont have it.
Great shopping experience... In and out quickly... Dinner was fresh ...
I always do my grocery shopping at Meijer. Even though the store model is older I love how close it is to my condo, and the associates are all very friendly and helpful.
Employees have terrible attitudes. I went to purchase something from the deli, the co Rainer was not marked right. It had shrimp inside and not pretzels as indicated by the container. The employee i spoke with told me she didn't do it and it was essentially not her problem. Waved her hand at me, sighed, and told me to have a good day. Spoke with a manager who's attitude wasn't that much better. He didn't seem to grasp the concept that some people are severely allergic to shrimp. Just an all around terrible, unfriendly experience. Store wasn't very clean and it looked like product was just jammed on the shelves, probably due to the layout of the store. It feels cramped and just dirty
My experience was very good. I used their pickup service, ordering ahead of time online. You can download the app checking off items that you want, select a pickup time available,
Went for the COVID Booster. The process was quick and efficient.
How can a store screw up so many ways for one transaction. Placed a pick up order. On the way there we get a call asking for another hour because it's not pulled yet. We're agree. An hour later at pickup we are told many items are not available. We get almost home and get another call that they missed a bag. We make arrangements to pick it up before the next night. I check in and am told it'll be right out. After 25 minutes I call again to see what is up and there is no answer. I park to go inside but the back doors are off and it sets off the alarm if you open them. At this point I'm done.
I'll tell you what, Meijer's got it together. During the covid vaccination there they did a great job. The stations were 6ft. Apart and the chairs were provided, before and after. When you left, someone was there cleaning them after. Great job Meijer's
Very clean store, helpful staff, need more check out staff to move the long check out lines.
The bathroom at the Meijer gas station was worse than most outhouses I have used. Strong feces smell and the rim and seat of the toilet were soiled.
When there are five people or more in each line and there are at least five lanes not open the cashiers, that is unacceptable. I will not shop at the store again at any holiday, because you do not have the workers to help the customers. Learn customer service.
I guess I don't quite understand how the meat counter works here. I sign states that they are open until 8:00PM, but stop slicing meat for customers at 6:00PM and start putting everything away at 7:30. Is this truly the way things are done or is the employee working there tonight just being lazy?
Same results always out of basketball cards I don't understand why if this is such a hot item I don't they stock more or have a limit to how many one person can buy
This Meijer was awesome, found a few things others seem to always be out of. Greeter was very kind :-)
This shopping center is a great place for both quick shopping and grocery shopping. Additionally, you will find any kind of things you'd need for gifting for birthdays, Christmas, or any kind of celebrations you may need. Very reasonably priced and you will find that this chain is a very competitive in the market with other big chain stores. All in all a GREAT shopping experience everytime I visit!!
Love Meijers quality selection and prices. Lately check out lines have gotten frustratingly looooooong! Update . Meijers went from 3 stars to 2 stars. Lines got even longer .Took longer to check out than to shop . Tried new Shop & Scan - saved no time. Still have to go through check out line and app wouldn't recognize 3 items. Even eggs! Update. I really appreciate management reaching out with a personal phone call to discuss their attention to service and customer satisfaction. More businesses should follow Meijers lead. Two more stars for a large company taking such a personal interest each customer's satisfaction!
99 percent of the time in early morning not well stocked, produce section in early morning is difficult to navigate, they have gone to putting restock carts in the middle of isles ,why? No it good when outside management comes then they seem to have better stocked and clear isles.
Meijer is my favorite place to shop and always have what I'm looking for. Thank you Meijer's for the staff and all employees are so friendly and friendly. I have shopped here pretty much all my life and I just plain love Meijer's and their groceries department is awesome and very competitive on the prices and the employees are quick to help. Thank you again for all you do
Got my COVID-19 vaccine there this morning, very organized and and quick. I was just 22 minutes from the time I walked in until I was heading home.
9:00 was a really good time to go, nott too many people and the shelves were stocked ????????
Worst store ever. Bought liquor and they forgot to take security tag off and went off as I was exiting. Made me feel like I was stealing product. Long lines at check out and did not open more lanes. Walmart cheaper on products and will never go back to Meijer. Never apologized to me after alarm went off.
It's close to my house and has almost everything you use on an everyday bases
Have the best produce.
Was busy, they had three cashiers. Stood in line until our frozen food thawed out. lol
We love Meijer in general and this is a nice location. Busy, but clean with a friendly staff. We tried the Scan as you shop feature through their app today and it worked out great.
They still have workers with no gloves or masks. Most people in the store are walking around with no face covering either. I wouldnt complain however Meijer is publishing and promoting the fact that their employees will be provided / use PPE and they dont. They have one person sitting at the door to give the appearance of limiting the number of customers allowed in at one time. They also have small glass shields that barely cover 1/10th of the are the cashier stands behind. Seems like as one of the few companies doing really well (they have discontinued all sales and the same hamburger that cost me 10$ now cost 18$) that they could invest some of that into the people who are putting themselves at risk daily. Who will be left to sell the groceries? The sick workers without masks????
I agree with meijers being the North's better Walmart. Meijers is my favorite. Its clean and the produce is normally very good.????
Dirty, always have alot of unstocked product. Can't make money if shelves are not stocked. Out of the 3 Meijer stores I shop in, this one has the WORST check out service.
A great venue.Lansing locals allowed to park at far end of lot. Buy food, beverages & snacks for bus trip. Safe overnight parking!! Thanks Meijer!!!
Usually shopping is shopping but, recently the staff at this location has been very pleasant and helpful.
I bought a Meijer Visa Debit card and do not agree to its terms. I would like my money on the card returned to me and have been trying for more than a week to talk to someone at Meijer and/or Visa to refund my balance. I was finally able to communicate with someone at Visa who said I can get my money back if I open an account, which I already stated I would not do, and no one with Meijer has gotten back to me. After reading the terms, I believe this Meijer Visa Debit is a scam, and refusing to return my money is theft. Meijer, you've put your name on this card, and taken my money for this card, and do nothing to see that my money on the card is not robbed from me. That's bad business. I won't shop at Meijer again.
Meijers is the best stocked superstore here in Lansing. They have now gone upscale and become one of the pricier grocery stores. I shop Meijers when I have redeem bottles, therefore the refund money is my shopping cash. Ya cannot beat free! I also check weekly specials via ladysavers.com. There are sales that are clearly loss leaders, I purchase those items per the amount of canning jars I have. It is July, I am canning cherries and white peaches... For Christmas! Fact is if you can't find. "It" anywhere, its in stock at Meijers.
Order pickup is so convenient but they are often lacking products from my order. Prompt, friendly service.
Nice store, friendly staff and items in stock most all the time. Parking lot needs more lighting though, I know people that will not go there when dark out.
Hard to check out quickly, and some of the prices for items is a bit ridiculous. Not the Meijer I grew up with. Glad I live out of state now, and don't have to use this store.
Decent for food but when I comes to electronics and video games meijer is not your place. Everytime a new game comes out they never have enough copies and sell out. I go to Walmart and they have a stack of the same game for a few cents less
Good, enjoyed food n fireplace!!
There was boxes all over the isles with products ect at 8pm. Couldn't get to the groceries. Talked to manager and he said they do this every day so the night workers wouldn't take the first 2 hours bringing them out. My husband and I were disappointed that the customer doesn't come first.
Good people at Meijer, good prices and they take care of their employees, unlike walmart.
The price is don't appear to be a whole lot cheaper than most places around. And the amount of people working there is extremely minimal. I think this is another example of corporate greed. I'm seriously considering taking my business elsewhere
Everyone was wearing a mask when I went about 9pm. Saw some people turned away due to not wearing masks. Yea. Unfortunately there were a lot of items that were out of stock. Don't know if they sold out today or a chronic problem at the warehouse. Felt safe shopping there.
Every thing was nice. Those working the Groceries were nice and helpful. The cashier wasn't friendly or nice. She didn't respond to my question. Maybe she was having a bad day.
One stop shop for everything you need. I am from out of state and I was shocked to see everything available to buy. They had everything I needed and some stuff I didn't. Good place to shop.
I like every thing about M except self check out on most days. With the number of self check out stations there is usually only 1 clerk per end to watch and help. Focus on store loss versus help. It helps Meijer save ???? but frustrating when prices don't ring up properly and longer lines in assisted check out for handicapped or large orders. I still give high marks for handicapped assistance in most cases and availability of sale items.
The two stars are for customer service and the people who work at the online pick up department. However, they are constantly out of basic items and it is ridiculous. I haven't been able to complete a single grocery list by using meijer alone in months. I'm having to run to either Kroger or Wal-Mart to pick up items they don't have. So I might as well have just went to those places instead of meijer.
I went to Meijers for the after Christmas bargains. Lotts of decorations and clothes were half off. The candy was one third off. I got everything l needed, except tuna for my cats. Then after l had unloaded my groceries into my car, l noticed l forgot to pay for two pairs of Christmas earrings. So as l was walking back into the store, l met a nice young man who was taking care of carts. I asked if he would take the earrings back to the store for me,cuz l didn't want them anymore. He was so kind and took the earrings back to the store. What a kind employee, and l wish l could remember his name. But that is what great service is!!! Thank you very much!
Lake Lansing store is stocked better and the employees are more friendly and attentive.
Went there for a covid vaccine, it went very quick. A very good setup, they knew what they were doing.
Meijer is a great store but the new self checkout in this store sucks. (There is not a regular check out on the south side of the store, only a self checkout) This is a big wast of time and trouble for the consumer. I generally don't mind the self checkout but when people are self checking overloaded carts and one teller running between incompetent shoppers things can really slow down. One very long line forms and the next in line to go to the checkout needs to keep a sharp eye on the registers or they will get yelled at by unhappy shoppers at the rear of the line. Loads of fun for confused elderly folk.
Late evening was the best time to shop! Surprisingly l found all the items needed especially the fresh produce.
Although I'm glad there is a back entrance at the Saginaw Hwy store, there is only self-checkout. The machine said to call the attendant 3 times. Problems with using a paper bag and both my coupons were problems (just tide n downey coupons from Sunday's paper, proper items)
Very busy but I got everything I came there to get.
I will never return to this meijer strictly because of their meat market. I purchased two center cut sirloins at regular price and after I got home I realized they cut the muscle near parallel to the perimysium. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that steaks are cut against the grain. It was a waste of $25 and I learned my lesson; dont buy steaks from Meijer.
The groceries here are good, but the checkout lines can be kind of long sometimes. Also, the bathroom is always disgusting. Many fixtures are broken; it's never cleaned; and it always smells terrible.
Waited in line 30 minutes to scan & bag my own groceries. There was a line all the way to produce because three self serve scanners were down. Only 4 full service registers open, long lines in each one. If you think this is a way to keep customers coming back, I'll spend my time & money elsewhere. Too cheap to hire more cashiers or minimum wage baggers to move the lines. Sad...
I've been a loyal Meijer shopper for my entire adult life, and I'm 62 years old!
About your Delhi/HotFood. So you either need to change your sign you have hanging up there or just get rid of the deal. I go in to get the 6 piece chicken tender dinner deal today. It comes with 4 pieces of bread and 2 sides. 8.99. But after confusion and a line forming behind me, I'm told that the price increased for 10.99. Apparently they changed it without anyone knowing, "and they don't even call it the dinner deal anymore, its called the family meal" despite the sign clearly saying "Dinner" without family anywhere near it (so more confusion over the name, because I was originally handed portions for the regular "Meal-Deal", which is basically half the Dinner Deal). What makes it more laughable is that I had to pay extra for receiving less after the order was sorted out. Whenever a person gets 2 sides of fries, they're supposed to go in those boxes for you to weigh them so it equals a certain amount; not thrown in those small plastic containers (with my bread and chicken) and try to make it all fit, and not even weighing it. I clearly saw I was getting less than what I typically received whenever I get the same thing. But there was a line and I already had to hold people up because I originally received the wrong order. So I just took my food and left it in a random aisle. Because F-that I'm not paying for it. So Meijer, please change your damn deli signs to reflect these "New secret changes" you all just decided to have.
I love meijer. Great deals. Mperks is so easy to use and has saved me a lot of money. Really wish they would do something about all the people in the parking lot that approach you for money. Doesn't make you feel safe when you can't even get your groceries in your car with out someone coming up behind you.
They have an awesome produce section. Very fresh and stocked well. Lady cleaning carts which has pretty much stopped at other stores. Would like to see disinfecting being done at self checkout between customers.
Pharmacy was great on safety protocols. A few people coming in with mask below their nose and greater didn't say anything.
Girl on the phone was extremely unhelpful & unsympathetic when my online order wasn’t ready to pick up. She had a negative tone from the beginning (was clearly already having a bad day) and didn’t care at all to look into the issue for me. Didn’t apologize or sounded like she cared whatsoever. I asked what I did wrong, as it’s my first time ordering, and she said it just “happens sometimes” …. This was an excuse. My boyfriend then went inside & asked a nice guy named Jeremiah who figured out the issue for us, & was very polite and understanding- the exact opposite of the girl on the phone. To be clear, the order being messed up wasn’t actually why I’m mad; it’s because of the lack of empathy towards customers.
Always greeted upon entering and exiting. Products I need are available or they have a good substitute. Appreciate Meijer and recommend it to all...
Not bad didn't have too many lanes open but overall not bad
Check out broke down. The guy helped us and then three other people and back to us, it took at least 20 minutes while he was going back and forth to get us out the door for 5 items. Not impressed at all
Clean most days, staff acknowledged you and make eye contact. Free meat, always great staff behind that counter. The soda can return needs more attention.
Was there for my first covid-19 vaccination shot. I was there five minutes early and did the paperwork. No waiting for the shot. Very efficient operation. I was impressed.
Waited for an entire hour for them to tell me they dont have the midnight release game for playstation. Offered no compensation or discount for when they do have it. Ridiculous a head manager doesnt know where anything is in the store. It's a midnight release why would you guys not have the game up front and not have both console copies.
Love Meijer. I live in Texas now and am just visiting relatives in Michigan and I MISS MEIJER SO MUCH. It is difficult to explain to Texans how Awesome Meijer is. Walmart cannot compare to the customer service, the presentation and shopability of Meijer Thrifty Acres.....why pay more!?
New check out lanes absolutely blow. They have made the lanes all like 10 item Express lanes. Now you get to pile up all your groceries. I'll just switch to Kroger where you can talk to humans
While the okemos Meijer is better, this one is still decently stocked. It could really use a remodel though.
Always out of everything. Time to choose a different one to shop at.
I love meijer. Always clean always fresh produce always nice customer service...
Not enough Amigos capitalize that not enough Amigos I am tired of waiting up to 30 to 45 minutes at times rarely is there one immediately available there is at least 20 handicap parking spots and 8 Amigos some of which need charging or at time's some of them need repairing is the number of handicap parking spots determined by law is that why there is such a discrepancy Plus there is no seating available to wait for one so while there is parking most of the time for handicapped people we are expected to stand and wait for a amigo get real other stores in the area have at least 8 available they are grocery stores not a Superstore I like to go to Meijer because it's One-Stop shopping but since there is usually await for a amigo I have been going to other stores even when prices might be slightly higher and I'm a penny pincher most handicapped people that I have talked to complain about this the greeters security guards hear this all the time and frequently have to go to the other end to get one for a customer this means they are not able to perform their security job for a few minutes the greeter security guards are very helpful and pleasant about this they repeatedly tell me they have told the managers I have demanded that the manager be called when I've had to wait more than 20 minutes apparently they do not care about handicapped people or senior citizens because although I and many others have complained for years the situation has not changed it's disgraceful
It's always hard to find someone to help you around the store. When you finally do get everything you're after you wait just as long in the checkout as it took for you to find everything you were after today. That's presuming that the self checkouts are working properly and people know how to use them, because it's nearly impossible to have someone at the store check you out the lines are too long
They always got what I want n aren't too busy to help when I need help with anything
The store is clean and we'll stocked,. The people are friendly and helpful,
They had so really good variety in brand and flavors I hadn't seen anywhere else. Also I really appreciated so many 10 for $10 options
Love this one stop shopping. Most employees friendly
Got my covid-19 vaccine, great set up great system they have
Found everything I needed and saved lots of money on my purchases. Looked everywhere for over a month for my new winter coat, never thought I would find it half priced at Meijer. Love my new coat I bought at Meijer.
Love this Meijer the best out of all 3 in Lansing. The way its set up makes it easy to shop and the staff is always on point.
Older store... Sometimes change is not always good! Hometown feel... All in all, great place to shop!
Bottle return machine wouldn't take a certain brand even though they sell it. At the Dewitt Meijer I have always been instructed to take them up to the Service Counter. However, at the Saginaw Street store today I was rudely advised that next time I need to use the phone in the bottle room and call for assistance. Seems like the process should be the same at all stores.
I shop here all the time. Had a full cart of groceries...while checking out...the machine kept stalling because of not enough room on the bagging area...you can do skip bagging...but sometimes..requires the staff there to clear so you may scan the next item. Had to wait several minutes btwn each time for the staff. One 1 guy there...instead of watching and paying attention to the customers scanning...he is standing far side talking away....I give up and left everything where it stands and went to Walmart. Did not have any issues there...at lease the cashier there is attractive. Yeah!
I like this store. I just hope they keep people working and don't do the computer thing to much. I like whe9i walk in and different people all colors shape and size say. Welcome to Meijer. I be like Hello. I was given 4 star's. But they 5
I used the pick up service this evening. My window time was between 5 -6pm. I got to Meijer at about 5:30pm. I didn't get my order in my car until almost 7pm. I understand that the store may be understaffed.Their was only one employee doing the pickup orders. I have no problem with that employee he can only go so fast. My problem is, they're were cars that came after me that got there orders first. I'm not talking they arrived 10 or 15 minutes after me. I'm talking an hour or more after me. That is way to long to wait. It was really ridiculous.
Super busy today. Not many lanes open to check out. Store was pretty gross. Took 25 plus minutes just to check out.
This store is one of the oldest properties in the Meijer chain. It's sadly showing its age. There have been some updates but the overall condition of the facility is only fair at best.
If you want to wade through human garbage and wait in line for 20 minutes just go to Walmart. The prices are better.
Clean and we'll stocked. Great service.
Strange not being able to enter Meijer from any door yet appreciated by their diligence to keeping the store safe. The store is clean, well organized and the aisles are open wide enough for 2 carts to pass with room to spare. No real interaction with staff on the floor. Cashier was pleasant and efficient.
I went to get my Covid vaccine. They did a great job at getting everyone through the lines. I recommend making an appointment.
Always been a good place to shop but I don't like the new setup for the self checkouts
This Meijer is very large, but not really stocked well, especially 6 months after the start of the pandemic compared to other Meijer and grocery stores.
Not enough available Amigos for handicap people to get around store. Especially in the first half of the day.
