Nice, big Fred Meyer, laid out almost exactly like the Gateway location. Despite being a super-busy location, lines are short and the checkers move you through fast. Always well-stocked, well-lighted and clean, shopping here is a delight. Huge selection, including local, organic & vegan options. Standouts are the Deli, Meats, Produce and Floral sections. Staff are top-notch as expected, helpful, courteous and smiling. You can tell they enjoy their work.

Stacking coupons is acceptable here so use your mnfc and store coupons, add that rewards rebate on top too!

Really disappointed with my grocery pickup experience today. As I got home and started putting my groceries away I realized that they had forgotten 10 items that I had ordered. I went back to the store to pick them up and the employees were unapologetic. It’s not exactly convenient to go to Fred Meyer and pick up groceries twice, especially with kids and other errands that needed to be run. And it wasn’t just one item they forgot it was TEN items that I had already paid for. If I didn’t notice that they weren’t there that would have been a lot of money spent for items that I didn’t even receive. I think the part that bummed me out the most was that they didn’t even apologize. I wasn’t expecting any compensation but a simple “sorry about that” would have gone a long way with me. If you do grocery pickup with Fred Meyer double check to make sure you get everything you paid for. I’ve had bad experiences with their pharmacy and now with pickup. Not a huge fan of this Fred Meyer.

Tried to exchange a medical device and was told no due to Covid-19. I was able to return some appeal because apperantly thats more important than to exchange a medical device. They expected me to go and just buy another blood pressure monitor for $86.00 and hold on to the broken one until its time for those returns to be accepted.

Not only does this store have what I have come to expect from Fred Meyer -- great selection, outstanding customer service, aisles that are clean and well organized, AND clean, well stocked bathrooms (because it's the little things that also matter) -- but they also donate to the homeless! The associates - checkers, stockers, janitorial services, all the people behind the scenes - collected money and items and donated that to those who are in most need during the holidays! I love Fred Meyer stores!

Won't be shopping here anymore. Bad management and anti-maskers. Often there are no carts available. They run out of things all the time. It's interesting that WinCo and Safeway have the items so I chalk it up to bad management not being able to keep the items ordered and shelves stocked. The store is cramped, they have tons of junk displays taking up aisle space. The staff is nice but seem overworked and I know they're underpaid. Fred Meyer has really gone down hill and this one is a disaster.

This is one of the best Fred Meyer in Vancouver, they are always well stocked, the store is clean and the people are nice and friendly. I love that you can always find some discounts and coupons.The only thing I don't like but it doesn't affect me much, since I bought it once and never again, is their cooked chicken, it's not the best, they should make chicken wings like the ones your find at the Hollywood District Fred Meyer, in Portland.

Well stocked,service is good,easy to access.Home and garden,home electronics,videos,some music but not much of a selection.Meat and produce are good,as is bakery and deli.Starbucks on site;Baskin & Robbins,gas station.Food is more expensive than Winco,but F.M. has MUCH better prices on things like toilet tissue and so on.Less spendy than Safeway or Albertsons!!

I've read the reviews of this fred meyer regarding customers not wearing masks while in the store. One thing that all of these reviewers have wrong is placing the blame on employees and management. Associates and managers are not allowed to confront or deny entry or service to unmasked customers. This is not our decision. Believe me when I say we all wish every customer was masked while in th store. We have many employees in every department out sick now and still people walk in without a mask on. We are under a ton of pressure and we have no say in the enforcement of masking in the store.

Worst online order process ever. I have used 5 other Fred Meyer pickup services and this set up is the worst of all of them. It is not intuitive how to the flow of parking in the spots should work. They are slow and not good at communicating when there are issues.

Stopped in to pick up flowers so they would be fresh. They did not have the Petunia Flats for $9.99. I asked for a rain check and was told by manager Jen that it is policy to not distribute rain checks on seasonal items. The other employee (cashier) that Jen was speaking to stated Fred Meyer will not be getting anymore flats of marigolds & petunias for the rest of the year. The last I checked it was only May 15th??? Flats of annuals peak there sales in June! A hearty, summer flower not available at a major retailer... This is the 2nd time I have needed something from this store and was failed. I waited 6 weeks for my bicycle to be assembled and then placed on display to be damaged. This manager is NOT customer service material!

I love the cleanliness and organization of Fred Meyer but the price isn't always the best. My bacon is $2 cheaper at Walmart. And it seems like no matter what Freddy's I'm at, the strawberries are always moldy. Other than that, I love the variety and the quality! The other produce is amazing and we don't get deli meat anywhere else! Even the wooden spoon selection was awesome!

Organics and toiletries close to home. I appreciate the regionally available cheeses they bring in. They have organic, house brand milk and eggs. You can order for delivery, pick-up or shop in store. They are requiring masks. I ding them on my experience when ordering for pick-up. I'm overcharged or don't receive everything ordered or have something subbed which should not have been most of the time. It's a pain to have to keep calling or come in the store and stand in line to have it fixed. If you call to have it addressed and speak to the pick-up team, they give you attitude that you screwed up somehow and they didn't just give you one milk, when you were charged for the two you ordered or it's on you that they gave you reall eggs as a sub for vegan JUST eggs despite having your cart marked as no subs. The corp has gone downhill as to how they treat their employees as well. Once upon a time, FM was a brand known for respecting and supporting their employees. Now, they are not really any better than Walmart. Overworking them. Not allowing water breaks or employees to have water with them when stocking for eight, plus hours at a time and seriously disuading potty breaks. Not giving enough training or time for the newbie to be comfortable doing the job. Breathing over their necks and complaining they always need to move faster. There's a reason hardly any employee knows where something is anymore if you can't find it. FM corp chews them up and spits them out faster than they can learn the layout of the stores.

Very frustrated that we bought about a dozen items and one was missing when we got home. From speaking with others, this is not the first time they did this. It feels like it might be a practice of the store. They also don't care about the pan handlers in the parking lot. One tried to grab my mother and when she reported it, they showed no concern. Not a great place to shop.

This store has great products on the other hand it's very unhealthy, no signs that they practice social distance so it's very crowded on the Isles. Person in charge of disinfecting the carts was more interest in chatting with his co-worker then doing his job. If anyone has gone inside the restroom they will agree of how dirty the mens restroom is I have no idea how the woman restroom could be but... we can only imagine. A two star store only because the products are great but come at a great risk.

Latest change form the remodel - CAMERAS! at the self checkout. I go in every few days and now at self checkout there are screens on top the self checkout units with a camera below them and you are being recorded as you buy, sound maybe also. I understand this is apparently to catch cheaters but this is punish all of us with intimidation rather than work on catching the real bad folks with something more effective - Whats next the Costco style exit where you have to show a receipts and be inspected?

This Fred Meyer has a friendly staff, shelves are neatly stocked, and I can find almost all staples and a few specialty items easily. In addition to grocery, the apparel and home departments have all the supplies you normally need. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable. It's farther to drive here than the local 24 hr grocery store, but it's worth it.

I was at the selfcheck out and got some cash back, i stoped away from the machine 5 stepa turned around to get my cash and the older couple that were right behind they said they didnt see any cash coming out either. Called the manager and they were not able to give me my cash back because there was nobody to look at the cameras. And i asked if I leave without my money?? They said yes! So i left without my cash. I have yet to have a bad experience here. MOST of the complaints I read in the comments are petty and oversimplified. You can't judge the store by the customers. Yeah, there's rude customers here sometimes, but is that the store's fault? There was once a ridiculously rude clerk who was harassing my father while shopping, but as far as I know, the store fired him after we reported him.

The store was recently remodeled to increase sales, making it impossible for consumers to shop. After 26 years shopping at Fred Meyer, I'm done. Staff says products have been discontinued but are still showing on their app as 'in stock'. The new store layout makes no sense with pesticides stocked next to kids toys and rat poison touching the toilet paper. Seeds used for cooking/baking are now next to the eye drops/first aid. It took 7 employees 30 minutes to help me find none of my items. Thanks for ruining something great, Kroger.

I just literally bought a love seat here. Get it home. Inside the house. Out of the wrapping and find part of the backing is broken. I am disabled. I am not supposed to lift over 25 lbs. I can not kid this thing back in the roof and take it back Yet I get told I'm the phone that is all they can do. Do they not offer any warranty on furniture they sell ? Just ridiculous they expect someone who is disabled to kid it back up. Will never shop at again. Guess I get to learn a 300 dollar lesson because I'm not going to screw my back up more to take a love seat back.

Products are of adequate quality, but the prices are just over the top. The sale prices are not at all a sale, half a pork loin on sale $23 buy 1 get 1, I can go to costco and get a full one for $20 any day of the week. If all it takes to get realistic prices is a members fee that they return via rebate each year, then maybe fred meyer should join the team and become a club.

My go to store for EVERYTHING. My kids love Fred Meyer. Very kid friendly! Kids can have a healthy fruit snack, and/or a cookie from the bakery. Or there is a kids club where you can drop off the kids while you shop. Ages 2-Kindergarten. My 2 year old loves it! All the staff is awesome!

Not nearly enough handicap spots for a store this size. I had a hard time finding parking close enough to get in the store with my disability. Fred Meyer has been reducing their all natural and organic products after "combining" them with the regular products. Most of the products I used to purchase here are no longer available. Needless to say, I left without finding what I was looking for. I was able to find all natural products at Winco. I won't be shopping for food here anymore.

Lots & lots of empty shelves in Apparel. Granted I went during the Pres. Sale but seriously...replenish stock even if not on sale! There were entire rowes of shoes the entire 15' long selves & multiple rows, empty. Looked like a going out of business sales on the last day. Staff just gave a canned "in-between season" response. While I understand that, they shpuld if smart, take the op to flash their new wares for next season. Bargain shoppers will often spend savings on the newest option. Missed a huge opportunity! Bad business mindset with old mindset...I work in promo so I know what Im talking about! I went to get low-cost inyerview attire...almost nothing top to bottom for a female not interested in "Career" leggings! Their slacks rack was 3 or 4 brands and litterally 1 rack. I get that the lacksidaysicle mindset happens in trends such as our current but truth is, those buying said items are NOT millenials. They are a min of 5yrs into career path & not looking for leggings or jeggins for work. They need cheap slacks & buisiness casual dress equal anything non-suit but can be professional. Leggins are neither! Key announcement for buyers at these corp stores...no one is shopping in the "career section" for items that double as Friday night club wear that they can also wear to the office (they had the fake leather strip on the sides even in this section). They hit Juniors or the everyday section. Just sayin!

They are reorganizing. No one knows where anything is. They have the world's worst, weakest, least consistent WiFi, even though they moved a lot of their advertising, coupons, and personal shopping lists onto the internet. It's how to do stupid in the digital age. Update - they have almost finished the chaos. Some of their employees have learned the new locations, though the groupings still have some lack of logic, and some items like water filters and birdseed are kept in more than one place. The Wi-Fi is much improved.

I used to be a big fan of Fred Meyer and recommended it to all my mom friends. It USED to be the best grocery store for me and my kids. Unfortunately, those with decision-making power don't seem to have families like mine in mind with all the changes. Every time I go in Orchards (or Fisher Basin) FM since their big remodel, I'm reminded why I stopped shopping there. They've taken away many of my favorite features as a mom and made it SO huge that it is completely overwhelming. The layout is not at all intuitive. Whereas I used to find most of my organic, natural, and vegan products in one area of the store, I now to have to wander the entire grocery department to find those items. I give this store 3 stars because it is nice and neat...as far as appearances are concerned. And the people are pretty friendly. Still, I shop there less than ever because of the changes handed down from corporate. This Mama is NOT wooed by your changes. You've all but lost my patronage.

My biggest complaint is the lack of customer accessible trash cans! I'm constantly hunting for a garbage to throw away banana peels, hand wipes, etc! This Fred Meyer has one of the biggest and best Natural Foods departments out of all the Vancouver Freddies. The staff is always friendly and helpful and since I shop here ALL THE TIME (I live close by) I feel like I almost know quite a few of them and they certainly remember me well enough to carry on a conversation. I'm treated like more than a customer, I'm treated like a human being. Also, I love ClickList. It's hard to drag 3 kids in the store to shop sometimes.

I came the next day only to have to wait 20 min for them to fill something that was supposed to already be done!!!! If you know what you're looking for, it's a great place to stroll and take your time. Update: They're essentially the new version of Walmart. They treat their employees poorly, can't fill a schedule worth a darn, only open the BARE MINIMUM checkouts and are generally a cash grab operation at this point. Time to find some better, local stores to fill your pantry until they sort their act out.

Fred Meyer is my to go store. I always find the items I am looking for. In my list today: Plantains which I found and moreover, they come from Ecuador, my home country. I was looking for the new Canada Dry with lemonade and Fred Meyer is carrying it already. Ice cream of course, can not go home without ice cream. Parking was easy to find this time, it could be busier from time to time. I did not have to wait too long at the cash register. The cashier lady was nice. I saw her interaction with a 3 year old customer. And I was on my way out.

Well laid out Christmas decor, but 2 weeks till xmas and selection very thin, they weren't very helpful in my search for these led regular light fixture Christmassy(ish) decoration bulbs. Everyone just jot saying what we have out is what we have, one gal laughed when I asked when/ if they were getting more.?? It's still 2 weeks way and its not purely a Christmas item it's a decorative dancing white led build. I wanted to get some for my little daughter's room. But I guess it was a stupid thing to ask, cuz apparently they are stocking up for Valentine's day. ... like i care lady just wanted the bulbs that u had yesterday for my daughter. They just went through a major reorganization with all of their products. I know it was probably a marketing decision but the new layout is very frustrating. I used to know where the specific products were that I liked to purchase. Now they have seemed to disappear. The parking lot is horribly designed. It's hard to get in and out of quickly. If you park in the garden section, it's not too bad. The store is generally clean but always busy. There are always lines with a wait. I avoid this store unless I only need one thing and can run in and out. Even then, I still have to wait in line for the self check. WE BELIEVE IT WAS DRU in the Home Dept. on 117th in Vancouver who helped us pick out a storage sofa table, and took us from the dept. to the register to the car for loading the heavy box! Although we do shop frequent (5days a week) and the in-store people are great. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the cart people. The people who get the carts from the outside of the store. They at least in our experience seem to be some of the most rude people. My wife dislikes going to the store without me just so she won't have to deal with them. They seem to ALWAYS be on there phones not paying attention to the cars around them. It's really quite sad. Maybe we will just have to go to another location or something. Not sure yet.

The RUDEST people in the world shop here...I am convinced. As a Mom of a newborn I will tell you there is no decency left in the world at least not at this Fred Meyer anyway. I have never experienced more pushy, unaware, blatantly careless people in my life. Some of the shoppers here really need a class on etiquette and awareness for others. The aisles are too narrow..there is so many huge online shopping carts being filled which is fine I understand and support the online shopping however - I have been cut off while shopping w/ my baby in the cart by other shoppers and pushed. In a time of social distancing you'd think people would be a tad more courteous but NOPE not here. Every time I go to get anything these days I have to do some deep breathing before I get out of my car in the parking lot. Whoever manages this store needs to retrain or resign. Generally rude staff. The deli department is the worst. And the fried chicken went from average to absolutely gross (overcooked, burnt and dry) - I’ve given it a number of tries just to see. Also, the new “chicken company” model is terrible. Whoever made the decision should compare it’s food and service to that of a regular deli from other Fred Meyer stores. Come Freddy’s, is this the trash store of the region or state? This has been on several occasions. Some of the long time employees of this store in Orchards are still very friendly. I didn't realize how much the costumer service went down until I went to the Salmon Creek store the other night. From the time I walked in, at the butchers, deli, needing help and cashier nothing but smiles and willingness to help and make sure everything is great. I left that store very happy, but quickly realized I do not get the same service at the Orchards Fred Meyer. I do remember a time when Orchards was like the Salmon Creek store, I really hope it could go back to its original costumer service values.

Generally large stores, about 40% groceries, the rest home goods, furniture, decor, hardware, plants and supplies, sporting goods, school supplies, toys, clothing, pharmacy and related personal items, electronics...and I'm sure I missed something(s). Large selection of grocery items, bakery, generally very good produce, beer, liquor (depending on local regulations, wine, extensive cold and frozen items... Many of the stores also include other businesses, like Starbucks, and bank or credit union branches. Generally clean, well kept and maintained. Currently adhering to COVID-19 restrictions.

The bakery department is wonderful! I had a same-day last minute cake order and they were so kind and accommodating even though they were already very busy with orders. They even bumped up the time I needed it by. The cake was delicious! Chocolate with strawberry filling and buttercream frosting. Several of our birthday guests said it was they best cake they'd ever had. Several parents complimented on it too. My son was so excited to see it, it was perfect! The deli needs to work on some things, when you have people who’s working coming in for food, for one, it took 30 minutes for 2 sandwich orders, also they were very light on the sandwich toppings, the kid didn’t even put the right sauce on one of the sandwiches, and your cross contamination is horrible there. None of the veggies on the sandwiches were fresh, you guys need to step up the game and keep your deli workers in check, it’s really gross over there.

Up untill 7 11 18 , I couldn't find anything good to say about them, But after going to pick up medications at Walgreens, in SE Gresham, And a FredMeyer in SE Gresham, After my girl friend , A nice Lady age unimportant , Couldn't be told her Medical coverage was cancelled after she left Mt. Hood Medical after life support, Nursing home,But Fred Meyer pharmacey here did ,not a bad thing,A good pharmacey, Got it taken care of and She's still Alive. Thanks.

Rudest deli department..then just puts all meats out of packages(4) on top of eachother for cross contamination! Never going to the 117th location deli in vancouver ever again! I waited 15 minutes for that service? Wow!

Bout a headset for my PS4 and in less than 24hrs it started cutting out. The receipt was tossed by family while cleaning up last night. I went back to the store and the customer service lady told me that without the receipt I couldnt exchange or return. I just wanted to upgrade to better headset and she was unwilling to help. I was never informed of policy change and was not told when I purchased that there had been a change in exchange policy. I called the store and asked to speak with the manager and customer service hung up on me. I called back and finally spoke with the home manager Lisa and she was not interested in actually listening to me and my concerns and then hung up on me too!! Worst customer service EVER!

Was mostly there for the pharmacy. Excellent service even when very busy. Always! I usually have at least 1 or more things I need to get for my apt. Freds almost always has them--don't know how they do it! They have a complete stalk of any kind of grocery item you want too, including in-store bakery. I visit Freds at least once a week.

I can't believe the amount of anti maskers at this location. Talked to management and I quote said "I don't care about any mask mandates"..... Sharing that quote and video with media outlets and every social media platform. I spend... I spent a lot of money at Freddy's every week. Not anymore, avoid at all cost
